Happy Holiday Season

One week, 7 days exactly according to human records till the biggest Holiday Event in the world. The Christmas Holiday comes once a year with happiness being spread everywhere, the lights they brighten the night sky as all of us drive on by.  Santa‘s are in the Malls all about, giving out that jolly old shout, HO, HO, HO.

I watched the scenes this year as smaller trees were lit, fewer went to see Santa the lines were shorter, here in America. Sadly we don’t have as much to spend or give anymore, our Congress and President are always at war. AT least for many military families, the ones who fought are home once more. and there is a chance they won’t go back to war.

As we come closer and closer to the magic date, of December 25th we celebrate, I wish and hope for the world you see, a peace to exist for all to enjoy and see. May a star shine bright Christmas Eve Night, and shine through the world making it all right. May all the wars and pain stop for all, may we be safe and peaceful once more.

The Holiday Season is and will always be a time when we gather family. We gather to one another those we love and treat them well like angels from above. We trade gifts and thoughts and wishes, and we sit down and eat favorite dishes. We laugh and hold one another in a hug, and sit around safe as a bug.

Then on Christmas Morning the children awake, they can’t stay in bed so they make a break. Bounding from their beds as visions of presents dance above their heads. They come down to find the Tree all lit bright and presents around as far as their sight, they smile at one another and wait with intense interest to see. Untill finally they hear the sounds of their mommy and daddy.

The parents stumble from their bed, hair all tousled and face all red. They stumble on downstairs you see, to see their children smiling and standing around the tree. A coffee pot goes on and the smell comes around, the children are laughing and bouncing you see, anticipation is getting them for sure.

Dad brings mom a coffee and shares as they watch the children circle waiting like vultures in the air. Laughing Dad says ok, the time has come, everyone sit down and wait each one. Slowly the presents are passed out you see unwrapped as the paper flies about almost hitting the tree. The gifts pile up one  by one till all the children are finally done,

Breakfast is next says mom you see, for if you don’t eat you don’t play with what you got, now the children sit down and will eat it,  cold or hot. Breakfast all done the children run to grab their new toys for girls and boys. They grab their favorite and start to play, and suddenly the laugher grows it doesn’t go away.

Mom and Dad stand there and smile, and whisper to one another, all is happiness for a while. They hug and smile and laugh and kiss and the rest of the Holiday is filled like this. In thinking back, and stopping to wonder, was this your Christmas I saw or a blunder. Whatever your style of Holiday may be, I wish you all a Happy Holiday Season from Me!.
