Hump day has started this am. Halfway through a week and closer to my first consult asa cancer patient. I know friday will get here soon and that makes me sad to have to hear from the doctors what i already know myself. Yes I know there is very little doubt what they found in my scans is not cancer, i know it is more than likely cancer . The fight will begin in earnest friday morning when they tell me what they can do to get it out of my lung, so all I can do is live each day like there is no tomorrow and live in peace!
I am used to battles I had all kinds growing up. I fought to be born because I was too big a baby and almost took out my mom. I fought to be wanted and lost mostly at home with the parents I had. I fought to get back home from an institution they gave me to and not to go to foster Families. I ended up back home not bad for a ten year old huh? I fought through Elementary School to be accepted and never was. I fought through High School to stay with the in crowd and be myself and somewhat survived. I fought to be a good Soldier and Sailor, and ended Honorably Discharged with Medical Benefits. I fought and fought to live each step of the way, the fight against cancer is no different folks, I will fight!
