In my lifetime which started in 1956, America as a nation had some of the best leaders as President. We also had a few that were labeled corrupt, or criminals. Yet, only one was forced from office by Impeachment, and that so far has been Richard Nixon. With that said, I wonder, how many should have been removed, and if anyone like myself, believes Donald J. Trump should be now.
Donald J. Trump took office, without putting his hand on a bible to be sworn in. He also has pushed the limits of Presidential Powers and the Justice System to it’s extremes. He has tipped the Supreme Court to his side of the equation, so he gets away with many things no other President in American History has.
It seems to me and this is my opinion and blog, that The United States made a big mistake, when it elected all Republicans to the Senate and House of Representatives as well as the Presidency. Too many of one political party is causing an inbalance in the country, more crime, more autocratic policies and in the end, destroying our economy, our systems and more. I remind all that Donald J. Trump promised to end the Ukraine vs Russia War in a day, He promised to turn the economy around and lower prices on food, rent and needed items. He failed on both. Trump also promised to stop wars in the world, now we have two major ones happening world wide, in Israel vs Iran and of course the Russian/ Ukraine war too. He has raised tariffs and isolated America from the world and lost us allies in many ways. Americans, we can not survive as an isolated country on the world stage, we need imports and to export our products. We need allies and friends world wide. Why, push away Mexico and Canada who are both on our same continent? What is happening here folks? I remind all, Canada and Mexico are the first two countries to come to our aid when needed. France has been our ally, since the Revoluntionary War here in America. Yets, Trump treats all like trash and ignores them, why? Can anyone answer that question, in today’s America?
My belief, is simple, America is not an island unto itself. we do not have every resourse there is in the world, or the power to stand alone forever. As we lose the tourist trade, the job climate goes down and the unemployment rate goes up. Medicare and Medicaid are under attack by the Trump Administration, Vaccines are being pulled and taken away, and illness grows. Why? I pray Trump does not involve us in either war, the one against Russia or the one against Iran. We do not have the military leadership or Presidential Leadership, necessary to win either one. Nor, do we belong involved in either one.
For the first time in my 69 years of life, I have witnessed and seen people, yanked from American streets and deported out of the country, without due process of law or court proceedings. Why? Now we have protests on the streets, against a President becoming a King, against illegal deportations and more. Why? Why Americans are we allowing one man so much power that he thinks, he can do what he pleases and destroy our republic and democracy? Americans, you need to wake up, realize, the life we have lived from Washington to Biden is being destroyed and reshaped by one man, for his own purposes, not for the good of the country! At some point, we must vote out the Republicans backing Trump and his policies and return to a balanced government once more. The mid=term elections will have to be where and when this change occurs, if not, then America will fall and crumble under the current policies!
As we go forward I remind all, Social Security is under attack, Medicare is under attack, Medicaid is under attack, the Eduction Department is being phased out. Now, tell me Americans, who will teach our children, who will protect our ederly, who will provide for their health care and more? I will tell you who, each American citizen of a working age will be forced to do so. Which means, more money out of your wallets each week and pay day. As health costs rise and food and more rise, where will you get the money to pay it all folks?
I tire of the bullshit, of Republicans and Trump saying, he is bringing jobs back to America, please tell me where and what they are! The car industry is in trouble, manufacturing is down, retail businesses are closing, hotels and more. The unemployment rate is jumping up as more federal workers are laid off or fired, due to Departments closing. Where do these people now turn for work or to support their families? Please tell me. The Housing market is tight, home prices are up, people are living on the streets in America these days. Why? What can be done to help the poor, the homeless the elderly and the sick? And when will that kick in for all, who need it?
I remind all, we are not all Billionares, or Millionares in America! We are not all born with a silver spoon in our mouths! We are not all handed millions, when our parents die, like Trump recieved. We are not all Elon Musk either. These Billionares and millionares who get richer while we get poorer and we struggle to survive, don’t even want to pay their fair share in taxes! If they did, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and more could be saved for future generations to come. yet, Congress, knows this, yet they do nothing to help the middle class and below, they help themselves. It has to change America, if it does not, America is headed straigght to a Autocratic system, a communist take over, or worse.
I have said this before Ladies and gentlemen, to all Americans in previous blogs I have written. History tells us, empires are built and empires have fallen all for the same reasons that America is now failing at. Take a good look back folks, The American Indians, The Aztec, the Peruvians, The Romans and more. All reached their peeks and then destroyed themselves, by, getting too greedy, too power hungry, too overly controlled by one man or one group. Dynsties have fallen over the things that are happening in today’s America! If the Indians, Aztecs,Roamns and even the Russians and Germans all fell, or were taken down, it will happen to America too. It can and probally will in the near future, as people like Trump rise, America will fall. The saddest thing about America now, is it’s leadership or lack of it. we have better people who can lead this nation. At some point, there has to be an end to the MAGA Movement to stop it now, before Trump can sell us to Russia! Wake up America, or be prepared, to buy Babbel and learn Russia or another language soon.
As a Disabled Veteran, who has 6 herniated discs and PTSD and other problems, I served my country for 16 years total. I believe in America, I believe in Democracy, The Republic, The Constitution and our Bill of Rights. I believe America can survive, but in order to do so, the American people must wake up, they must listen to the news, they must be informed of all that is happening. The power struggle between Trump and his MAGA followers and the rest of America must end. MAGA, must end, for so blindly following one person, is destroying our country.
God Bless The United States of America folks! I pray that my great grand children, will have to right and the honor of living in a Free Country when they get old enough to enjoy it!
