America on the Brink: Rising Prices and Political Chaos


Many subjects come to mind, when I get up in the morning these days. 1) Economy and the fact it is not changing for the better is one. The election we just had that put Trump, back in Office, was supposed to be based on lowering the cost of living and food and gas prices and all prices for Americans. Instead we are going in the opposite direction folks, your food prices are rising, your gas prices will too and so will your taxes due to Trump’s policies and Executive Orders. You can claim as i have heard some we need to deport migrants and do it now, but the cost is crazy for what is happening as is the fact, they are doing it so outrageously. I remind all, you have to pay to hunt these people down, detain these people, feed these people and then transport these people out, to their home countries.

Never in American History has America ever had a President who is dismantling the Justice Department and rebuilding it in his own image. Yet here we do suddenly, as Inspector Generals get fired without 30 day notice to Congress and without good stated reason. They should not be laid off or fired just because they prosecuted Trump in the past and they fear they will not bend to Trump’s policies in the future. That’s not a fair and just reason for firing them. It’s illegal as all get out folks, Trump is just protecting himself and his political compatriots is all.

The best thing America has going for it is our Constitution, Our Bill Of Rights, and the laws of our land. As it sits currently all three are under attack by a convicted felon, put into office by his own MAGA cult followers and the richest man on earth in Elon Musk. Musk bought Trump, he owns Trump, he controls Trump, and will continue to as long as Trump is President. And in the meantime, Musk controlling Trump is at the behest and orders of Putin. It’s like a puppet show, as Americans without realizing what is going on, are led like sheep to slaughter and about to be fed to the wolves of the world. we should never allow this and for Musk, Trump and his cronies to run around, giving Nazi Salutes to Americans and the world, well, at some point it is too much.

That being sad, the one consolation the American People have ta this stage of the game is, Trump currently can not run for another term under our laws and that must be maintained at all cost. we need full watch dog power over Trump and Vance too and close watch. They are a danger to America, our way of life and in the end the World too.

If you think prices are rising now in your grocery stores, wait more is coming. Wait until Trump, tariffs all these countries he is aiming at. Who do you think pays for those tariffs folks, we the American People do. Your taxes will rise, your incomes will go down, your jobs will begin to disappear, you can’t attack every industry in the world and every country in the world and shut down our international actions and cooperation with other countries and isolate America and survive. That my fellow Americans is stupidity at it’s best. I don’t care if we have the most expensive military in the world and the greatest weapons in the world, if we don’t have a Secretary of Defense who knows what to do with them, they are worthless. The World sees what Trump is creating in his Cabinet and our country and they are now, feasting upon it’s stupidity and ignorance and laughing at us. It’s sad. yet, American’s elected a 78 year old man, who is a convicted felon and gave him the power to do what he likes, as he likes and Congress is not stopping him, or using their powers to check and balance him, in anyway. They are kowtowing to him, kissing his ass and afraid to stand up to his crazy plans and ideas, for fear of being put out of a job. It is indeed a sad state of affairs in America. for the first time in my going on 70 year old life, I am seeing America fail as a nation, because it followed a cult. And that is one sad thing in today’s world, and all are watching as it happens. Other countries are laughing at us, as we withdraw and hide within our own borders. we are not an island unto ourselves Americans, and we lead by example, not by running away and hiding. yet, our current status and positions under Trump are laughed at worldwide, and that is embarrassing.

All of the above said and observed by me as a citizen and a disabled veteran and senior raises concerns for the futures of our families in the world and here at home. We have come to a precipice, an edge, and we are about to fall over it. In world history, the same has happened to other empires, take a good look folks. Go back and look, The Aztecs, The Incas. The American Indian, The Japanese, The Germans, and yes the Romans. All failed and fell from world dominance and grace, why, because they followed the wrong people, the wrong cults, the wrong way of being realistic and honest with themselves. America is now on that brink folks, as we head down the next four years, if we do not use the check and balance system the forefathers of America put in place, to cease this downfall and disaster coming, America will go the route of all the other Empires and disappear from the face of the earth. Putin will win then and races and countries will all lose. It has nothing to do with skin colors, race, or nationalities. It has to do with the right to self-govern and our ability to keep the people we put into that government under control and heading in the right direction. When we the people allow, these people like Trump and his cronies to control us as a nation, we give up the rights we were given as Americans under our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. Sadly, it seems in my opinion, the American people have fallen under a cult, and is being led to it’s own destruction and fall, but a man without brains, logic or empathy. If it continues, and he is allowed to keep on his track he is heading down, Americans, I suggest boldly and without apology, you buy a copy of Babbel, and learn Russian, for it is coming. That my fellow Americans is a WARNING and Red Light we should all be paying attention to applying, and soon!

Facts of American Life


Good Morning all, January 26th, 2025 is upon us all. Cold outside and clear so far, no snow or rain but gray. For me a start to the next year of my life since i just turned 69 yesterday. Spent it alone as usual, since I am a widower, and live alone in Westborough, Ma. here. As I start year 69 for me, I am trying to see if there is any place other than the Senior center in town for people my age to hang out and meet the opposite sex, for companionship. Being alone is no fun, nor is being retired if you have no one to share it with, unless you are into, isolation, and being solo and used to it and I have never been good at it.

As I age I am beginning to see the loneliness syndrome that is affecting Americans these days, in our country, Many get overlooked dur to age, many are scared of saying hello to one another, and there isa distrust between sexes and and people in general in this country, like i have never experienced before in my lifetime. people have trust issues, and judge others too quickly, and at times are overly sensitive and can’t handle a sense of humor it seems. the quickness to judge and condemn makes more enemies in life than friends folks, always remember that, so stop it. Someone, smiles and says hi, it never hurts to smile and say hi back. Be polite, use some manners too, they come in handy in life, your parents taught them to you for a reason you know. society is today a mean spirited world, with less manners then anytime in my lifetime. People get upset over politics, religion, comparing generations, of music and cars and so many subject, they forget they have to socialize and get along to survive, and they end up isolating themselves and pushing away everyone else. Then, they end up complaining, they are alone and don’t get why they are. Sad really.

Anyway, at 69, I wonder, am I ugly, am I cantankerous, am I mean, and I rude or something? I try to be fair, polite, kind and avoid confrontations, or fights. Someone says they don’t like me, I avoid them, someone doesn’t like what I say, I don’t talk to them. I am honest in my opinions, but I condemn no one for theirs too. So, I am not a Trump supporter and voted the other way, so I don’t confront the MAGA crowd either, I live with the results like we all have to. You can’t change, the results, so you adjust to them and carry on. Life is a mystery, as long as it stays one, I shall be fine and handle it accordingly. I just want to still live a full life, have fun, enjoy people again and not have to duck and dodge things or assholes so to say. Is that too much to ask, in a town the size of Westborough, Mass. here? I am not sure anymore, but I try anyway, sometimes failing for sure, to fit in. I am not a religious person and the town has numerous churches. The town has numerous banks and bars and taverns too, and I don’t drink much. So finding things to do is not easy here, for my age at least. I try to get involved in certain activities in my community here I like to do, like bowling once a week, playing pool once a week and Mexican train dominos twice a week.

Lets do a for instance, yesterday was my 69th birthday. What did I do for it. Lets see. I went to the mall and walked it fora bit and had lunch there alone. watched all the people walk by as I observed is all. Left there and came home, chatted on the internet again and then went for a ride in the evening to try to find a place I was told people were meeting in. I found it, got there, looked around for the people, couldn’t find them, thought the place was overcrowded, gave up looking and came home. End of my Birthday was watching tv once more alone. That’s just how my life goes these days at 69, mostly. grocery shopping once or twice a week is all I do now. I gave up, any hope of meeting anyone, I tried dating sites and such, they cost and they don’t always work out. Expensive at times and a waste it seems, for, what I get is most want money not a relationship. That it seems is what drive most not, companionship. But, het what’s one to do, but carryon, laugh, live and try to be friendly at least, in todays American Society.

Understanding Emotional Aging: A Deep Dive


Can we discuss the aging process, for all of us? Seriously, as we age certain factors begin to tell us what we can or can not do in life and with our bodies and minds. We notice them first as aches and pains, limits on movement, and forgetfulness. Then we, slowly begin to notice old friends begin to drift away, or pass away and we get lonelier over time, because we are set in our ways, and we basically learn, we don’t want to put up with other people’s bullshit, in our lives, or their little pet peeves, why because we have enough of our own to deal with. lol!

So we begin to slowly isolate seperate and then we complain about that isolation and separation and lack of interaction. yet we are the ones that stop it without realizing we are doing so. It is a process, as we age we go through, and believe it or not each of us do so as we age. Age is a factor, like time is, like mother nature is too. The world does grind us away as we live in it, we suffer through the weather, the heat, the cold, the precipitation, and then, we go damn, can’t we get decent weather anymore. Then, some of us fly south for warmer climates and then come home again in warmer months, and others join move to those warmer spots and settle in, till we pass.

Physically our bodies tell us, how much we can take and for how long by the process of how they do break down. mentally it is a slower decline rate for many and for some a very fast rate due to illnesses, we do not know how we get, but we do. we have the forgetful areas, the slip up times, the loss of control of tempers, or the emotional loss of controls also. We reach out for medical help and we learn, it is best to do so, so the conditions we do have do not get worse. the biggest threat as we age, is not our bodies, physically, not our minds, though we should keep them healthy and use them more. No, the biggest threat to aging folks, is actually the emotional turmoil we go through. Each time our emotion rise and fall, it drives us lower in that area we need most to survive, energy. Your energy gets drained by emotions faster than any other thing that happens to you. For as your emotional well being goes, so goes your mental and physical health. I know I sound crazy, but, if we stop and think about it, examine ourselves better, we find it is true.

Love brings us up and makes us happy, sadness slows us down and causes depression. As we go through each, we begin to experience highs and lows, and they do take their effects upon us do they not? The difference is as we age we do not handle these ups and downs, these highs and lows, emotionally in the same way, anymore. There is not the constant high of being in love, or the constant low of depression, unless, we let it happen to us, is that not the case? I think in my opinion, the less emotional turmoil we go through ion life, the longer we stay feeling better about ourselves, not only physically, but mentally and we reach an emotional level, we like to be at, an even knell so to say. At that point we balance as long as we can, and we strive to maintain what we have. Knowing full well, we can’t have it forever like we would like. we lose different things, the mate we chose, the children we raised, the family structures we loved so much and held so dear. In the end, we learn we must still go on alone, when all else is lost, for the opposite choice is not really one we wish to face. So, onward we go, and we survive, because believe it or not, we do not determine when we must pass from the earth and plane we live on, it is not in our control.

Someone asked me once, what I believe in, God or something else? I stopped and thought about it at one point and I came to realize something, some never do. Whether there is a God or not, there is a purpose for us all. I believe, we are placed upon this planet and plane of existence, to complete missions in our lives, of which we do not know exactly what they be. And as we go along in the lives we lead, we slowly accomplish those missions, without realizing we are. When we complete all we are intended to complete, then we are recalled back to from whence we came. We affect others life’s as we go along, and in each relationship we have, we are there for a reason we do not understand. Yet in the end, that person or relationship is affected by us and they either stick with us till they are fulfilled, or they get from us what they need and move on and we start the next mission. I know sounds like a crazy theory right, but, in the end, it is not, it may be the ultimate truth for all mankind. And that my friends and enemies, doubters or believers, or anyone else, maybe the bottom line!

Reflections of a Veteran: Life Lessons and Survival


As a Senior Citizen and Disabled Veteran, living in Westborough, Mass. I have learned, there is nothing I can basically do or say to change the politics, of the town or the nation. we have one right and that is to vote and participate in what we are allowed to, by laws and right we have. I have learned, I can shout to the rooftops and beyond, and it will not help change anything once elections and voting is over. There is no sense crying or complaining over who won the Presidential Election, or what Trump is doing to our nation, our rights, our way of life and our republic. That decision was made by the American people on Election day 2024. That being said, we all must now, save our money, survive for the next four years, watch prices rise, gas, home expenses and food, and taxes too, as trump plans for his retribution and revenge. It is a sad sight to see, when so many American citizens believe what is not true, there is no Trump mandate folks, he did not win by a large margin in anyway. Ya need to look at the actual numbers folks of the popular vote. Also, let me say this, if Joe Biden had stepped aside at the beginning of the election cycle and said I am too old an dlet Harris run sooner, Trump would have lost. Trump didn’t beat Harris really, she only had 119 days to run, and came close and scared him. !

The above said, I don’t wish to argue with die-hard MAGA, or Trump people anymore, they will not listen no matter if you are right, and can prove it. They are the Blind and Loyal puppy dogs following a owner who just feeds there basic needs of wants and desires to get what he wants out of them. It’s a sad sight to see folks. trump won according to the results 49.8 percent to Harris’s 48.3 percent. yes trump won, but, it is no mandate folks and if you want to really examine it closer, look at the numbers in the House and Senate and the number of seats in each. That said, I tire of those who claim Trump has a mandate, he doesn’t and once his honeymoon is over, you will see it. Ok enough on Politics for me, for now, as I shall watch, listen and see what comes next in the near future for America.

Next subject folks, I turn 69 on the 25th of this month in a few days time. As I do, I tend to look back at my life on each birthday and see what affected it, and why, and how I handled it, and whether I believe it was mistakes I made or good decisions I made. I know, no one is perfect and that includes me, and I have made numerous mistakes and at times overstayed or overstepped my welcomes. Ignored warning from others, and at times accepted things I should have fought against. But, in looking back, I know certain people and events, affect all of our lives, and how we adjust or don’t adjust to them effect what happens next and the decisions we make, each day.

We do not control for instance the day we were born, our sex or gender at birth, or the parents who raise us and teach us, or how they do so. We tend to bend and get molded in our young days by these things and people, and depending on how that goes as a starter in our lives, we, tend to do all we can to survive to carryon. I know I had many people in my life who affected how I think, how i react to certain things, and of course medical and mental conditions also. We overcome, we adapt and we learn to live with what we have, or else we die in someway, because we can not overcome and fight a fruitless fight. In my case I have been lucky enough to overcome certain things, I was born with.

Number one was, as a baby when I overcame seizures as a baby, due to a fall. Secondly, I had to overcome being born with Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyper-Activity. Back when I was growing up in the 1960s, mind you, no one knew what that was or how to handle a child who had it, they called it emotional disturbance. Misdiagnosing it and not understanding it made my childhood rough for myself and the family I grew up in. No one’s fault of course but, again a major item to overcome for a child.

Number two for me, was a constant battle with my mother, God rest her Soul of course, over who my real father was and her not wanting me to ever know the man. I always got, well, your just like your father a grease monkey, penny pitching fool. That was far from the truth of course, and that was proven when I finally got to 18 and found the man myself and met him. But, as time went on, because I wanted to meet my real father and know my heritage and from where he came, the battle was constant with my Mother. It resulted in my being Institutionalized for two years for being emotional disturbed, as they called it back then. The fact is, a simple look at the documentation from the Institution I was in for two years shows I was fine, it wasn’t me. Yet, I suffered the separation and almost lose, of my parental family due to it all. In some ways, it improved me and in other ways damaged me emotionally and would take a bit to overcome once I was home again. It taught me ways to handle my mother and my older brother, and in the end my step-father too.

I made mistakes in my teen years in relationship areas and some I regret and some I don’t, as I am sure may do, when young and going through puberty and becoming an adult. It took me a while to learn, not to allow the girls to choose me, and to learn to pick the ones to pursue. And even then, I made mistakes that carried me through my High School years, and made problems for me. yet, looking back at it, I can honestly say, it wasn’t the girls or the relationships I had, it was how I did not know how to navigate each one. So my, teen years were one lonely, two at time rowdy and three, in the end over before I knew it. High School for me, was not good for I dropped out in my Junior Year, and went to work in a factory, because my parents made me pay rent and to survive at home. yet, I did it, and survived, for I had no choice. By the time I left High School it was 1973, and my next adventure was ahead of me, that I never thought of until necessary, welcome to the military was my answer at the time, as the economy tanked, factories closed, and there was no where left to turn, and I, ended up unemployed and in The YMCA, living there. After a short stint in The U.S. Army that didn’t work out due to my step=father getting ill and my inability to mature fast enough. Six months is still six months and the Discharge was Honorable thank God. Between 193 and 1978 I served in The Connecticut National Guard as a Machine Gunner Scout. Struggling to find work as I did so and to survive.

By December, I was alone, scarred, tired, hungry and in the YMCA again. My Unemployment was dying out and my financial situation was rough, as I would make menus for restaurants to post meals, clean dishes, peel potatoes for them and clean their diners to get food to eat. Luckily, the owners I met were kind to me and generous. But, I knew I was in trouble, so I moved on once again, and this time I choose, a little older and wiser to join the U.S. Navy. It was the end of December 1978, when I did so. This time, I knew there was no excuse if I failed and I had to succeed and serve my contract out fully. I did, and overall my Naval time would cover twelve years and added to my Army and National Guard time it would add up to 16 years service for me.

Seeing the world in the Navy was an experience and worth it to me. I gained maturity overtime, I gained some rank, and I gained an education as a sailor and a Boiler Technician. I passed A Scholl for it and then later, two C Schools also. I climbed from a watch position of Messenger to finally Boiler Technician of the Watch. I had few people in The Navy I admired, on each ship I served, and followed and earned from. yet, I was always independent and stubborn also, but got the job done. By, the time I left the Navy in 1989, I had six herniated discs in my spine, and they discharged me, under a Honorable,/ under Medical. My Naval career was over. Along with my Naval Career went my marriage, I had from 1979, and my family and home. I ended up divorced and alone and trying to recover once more, when I returned to my home, and started over.

From the day I returned home in April of 1990 to the summer of 1992, I floundered, struggled and held on. It would take some help from Uncle Sam, the Veteran’s Administration and in the end my second wife to help me recover again. I was lost, scared and alone, when I took a chance and went to a Single’s Dance, lol. There I would meet my second wife. and begin a new as she encouraged me, helped me, showed me the way, and guided me. Through her, I got my benefits from the Veteran’s, I got stability, I went back to College, and got an Associates Degree. I found a way to work once more, I learned to write. and so much more. I helped her pay her bills and we moved in together into her home and grew as a couple. I have no idea why she loved me, or how it worked out so well but it did, and I had her by my side and as my wife in the end for 28 years, till she passed from Breast Cancer on 2021. God Bless her soul I say and I know just how special she really was.

Now adays I am alone again, but I have my condo, a decent car, a way to stay alive and take care of myself, with the Veteran’s Administration. And life has gone on even though I miss my wife, I am learning, when you lose someone, you loved so well, you gained so much from, you must go on. Because once they pass, you are still here, alone and you must find ways to survive and make do, and be as happy as you can doing so, and keep your hopes alive. That is where I am today folks and It just seems to me, no matter what happens, I shall somehow survive, because I have learned to adapt, adjust, be the best me I can be, ignore those who are doubters and angry, and harm no one, but, go on it life. It’s not easy, being a widower or a widow, but, you do learn to once again, live alone, you do learn you don’t have to take any bullshit from anyone. You learn to live, laugh and try to enjoy life the best you can, once more and hold hope that life still has something or someone in store for you in your future, even if you can not find them or it fast, enjoy what you have, make the best and carry on as well as you can.

Living through Change: A Senior’s View on Politics and Community


January 20th, 2025, five days to my 69th birthday. Today is MLK JR Day and the Inauguration Day of the 47th President of The US. As the day proceeds, I have found my self watching sports shows, movies and anything except news covering, the Inauguration. I have no need or want to watch the 47th President sworn in on my television. I don’t hate any person in this world, I hate what they do to the world and the country I live in is all, and I am far from happy with America’s voting in the last election. That said, there is nothing I or others like myself can do to change what is happening, we have no more control now. Sadly, we must now live through the next four years as they come. I do recommend all save their money, and hold on, because damages will be coming for each of us.

Next subject, lets discuss this so called problem in Massachusetts, of a few different things. One this Massaholes, thing, I hear everywhere I go and I encounter. What makes the people of this state, act the way they do? Why are they so rude, indifferent and narcissistic here? I do not understand it really. I guess because I came from a different state and moved here later in life, it is beyond my apparent understanding. I just wish the people in Massachusetts, would get over themselves and not be rude to everyone who weren’t born here.

Third subject today, I am a Senior Citizen about to turn 69. Now the town I live in is Westborough, Ma. and it has no real place for those who are 55 plus, to meet other their own age here. Yes, I know people are saying do two things to me constantly, 1) Volunteer for something get involved, 2) Go to the Senior Centers in the area. Did it in both circumstances, and found 1) Not all Volunteers get accepted, fussy here, 2) The Senior Center is not the place to meet seniors of the opposite sex for dating. And yes I know they want to build a New Community Center in town, and that they spent foolishly over 800 million to buy a building for it. I also know that building needs another 3 to 4 million for repairs to it and more before it can be finished and used. Sadly, even if they do it in 20 phases, it will take numerous years to get it done due to the fact they did not do due diligence and correct inspections and negotiate better. It’s a sad state of affairs to ask the citizens of Westborough to pay for the mistakes of the Boards that control the town, that’s all I will say.

I have found here in Westborough many people are angry people, doesn’t matter which sex they are. They complain of overworking, over paying on taxes, how nasty others are and more. It seems a negative environment to me, for any social action. This town has three major things in it and maybe four really. 1) Numerous churches, 2) Numerous Banks, 3 Numerous Bars/Taverns 4) Commercial stores of all kinds. So why doesn’t it have a Bowling Alley, a Roller Skating Rink, a Movie Theater? It is amazing to me, that a town of this size, and as far as I can see a decent budget doesn’t have the simpler places for people to have fun in. Look I know all about Pickleball Courts in town and people who love doing that, but that’s not for everyone. A little more imagination might help here. And if the town has a brain it will stop raising taxes on homeowners and renters in the town. You chase people out!

Prices are rising on food, electric, gas, utilities and more. Doctors and Medical and Dental too folks. having more children at this time in America is not the thing to do. Protect our children yes, educate the children yes. Don’t let the Education Department in the Country get shut down, don’t allow Medicare and Medicaid and Social Security to come under attack! Leave Obama Care alone folks! Be realistic here, cut government salaries if you wish to save money. Cut unnecessary items yes, but don’t cut programs and Departments that help the people of our nation.

I want to say this, as of today, January 20th, 2025, a new President takes over and yes we have to live with it. The Majority rules in America and they voted him in. yet, as one leaves and one comes in, there will be numerous concerns for all Americans. I want to stop all the big MAGA Celebrations and the yelling and screaming, and stop and think folks. We owe Joe Biden, for taking us through the coronavirus dilemma, for his peace negotiations and foreign affairs policies. For his amping up support for national disasters and his ability to correct the American Economy the way he did and as far as he did. You can cry all you want about Joe Biden’s age, and how in the last year, he faded a lot. In the future, I think we are about to see the same happen on The Republican Side with Trump. the man is 78, unhealthy, both physically and I believe mentally, we shall see how well he holds up under pressure and more. I want to remind all, if Trump gets ill, can’t perform in Office, or anything happens, You Get a President Vance, than what folks? You tell me! The next four years, will be interesting for sure folks, lets see what happens next! You chose so here we go!

Why Dynasties Fall: Insights for Today’s Leaders


Many Empires, Dynasties and Nations have risen and fallen over the history of our world. You can start by The Dynasties of China, The Empires of The Aztecs, The Persians, the Japanese, and more, and even the Germans under Hitler. What killed each and everyone of them, including The Romans? Arrogance, the foolish idea that one person man or woman is God’s gift to the people these people they follow. Greed gets in the way, arrogance gets in the way, lust for power, and jealousy too. Each Empire, collapsed folks, some were overrun by others, but most fell because there was no want of change, or in some, no reason to want to change. Empires come and they go folks, the question this brings up is simple, how long can even the American Republic/ Democracy last? We are heading down a road, many nations and empires before ours have fallen on. Do we wish it to happen, is it destiny for America and it’s people and have we risen to a height we believe we can’t be pulled or knocked down from? I don’t believe that is the case with America, I think we have leveled off, and now can not maintain the status quo we set, and are beginning to crumble. Sadly, it is evident in our status in the world, our economy which is unstable and in the leaders we place in office these days. America has fallen to being gullible, yp being led by liars, thieves and con men, and worse of all a Convicted Felon! We have entered what I call the Twilight Zone, led into it by a convicted Felon and his array of rich cronies, who bought him the Presidency.

Like other leaders in the world, have found out, money buys power. Donald J. Trump brags of a mandate in the 2024 election there was no such mandate as he claims. Check the real numbers folks, please. If Harris had run from the start of the 2024 election cycle like Trump did, she would be your president coming into office today. Trump barely beat an opponent who only ran for 119 days, that should shock you all.

Let say this Trump has no mandate, he barely has control of the Congress by one or two seats. The check and balance system in America will keep him in check for his term. Of that I am certain. Where will he go with his plans? Well first he wishes to tackle immigration he claims. So how does a government find and round up the illegal aliens in our country to deport them and what procedures will he create? Where do you gather these illegal immigrants, how do you do it, do you make camps for them and how do you ship them out from our country? And what is the cost of doing so folks?

Will America and Trump attack Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid? What of Veteran’s benefits and more? My real question is simpler, what the hell is Doge going to be and how do you make cuts, left and right? How powerful will Elon Musk and his rich cronies be? We all know thenumbers on the donations and contributions Musk made to Trump, and in the end he bought himself a Presidency didn’t he? trump is really a puppet folks, of Muck and Russia, look closely. If I were in Congress, I would be watching the budgets, the finances and Trump very closely. Don’t let Trump and Musk sell us to Putin and Russia, don’t let Trump alienate Mexico and Canada! Don’t allow Trump to cow tow to Putin and Russia and other communist!

As Trump takes over on Monday, be careful Congress, for we are headed to a Dictatorship or a Autocracy, don’t allow it, please. I shall state this clearly, does anyone understand American History anymore? America is based on being a Republic folks, for the people and by the people , not a Dynasty or autocratic nation, ruled by one party, person or group. I wonder now, what would the Founding Fathers of America say of what is happening today? What would Washington, Jefferson, Adams, and more, including Ben Franklin have to say, of what has happened to our republic and democracy?

Remember, a few things folks, one we have a Constitution and we have our Bills of rights, for reasons we all understand these days. It is to protect and defend our country against just what is happening and incoming on Monday January 20th. 2025. No one party, one person, should be allowed to overcome the will of the people or quiet their voices and do as they or he pleases. That’s why Checks and Balances were created in our land and government. I pray that, it will remain in effect and work properly for the next four years. If it doesn’t, well America’s Republic has then run it’s course like all the past Empires and we shall fall, flat on our face.

I know my History and in America, it was Washington, who saved us from Dynasties, and said two terms is enough for an American President and he left. It Was franklin who said after the Constitution was signed into law and approved, ” We Shall only have a Republic, as long as “We the people protect and defend it” Congress today in 2025, must heed Franklin’s words and those of Washington too, do not let our Republic and Democracy fade from existence, keep it, and defend it, and most of all, keep our freedom please. I didn’t give sixteen years of my life, defending my country as a Veteran who is Disabled today, to see it fall!

Warnings About Trump’s Political Appointments and Policies


January 17th, 2025, in a few days, I shall reach 69 years old folks. My back is a mess from my Naval Service and my health is holding at least, referring to my lung cancer, I had in 2013. The cost of everything is about to rise, due to the incoming Trump Administration and there seems to be no stopping it now.

Biden said his farewell to the Nation now and he has warned the money brokers will take over, is he right, I think so. You want proof of it, take a good look at Trump’s Inauguration come Monday. As the stage shall be filled with people like, Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, and the rich left and right. I remind all Americans, Trump will be President yes by title and position he was voted in as, but the real power is Elon Musk who bought Trump the Presidency. If musk says jump Trump will, plain and simple folks. And if Putin says jump trump will too, Trump is a old man, 78 and in the end, he is controlled by those surrounding him now. His physical health is poor, just look at him and listen to him talk, and you can see his mental prowess is down and his capability to really lead is shot. But, America in it’s great wisdom, decide to give him four more years, that we will sadly have to survive.

That said, let me say this now before The Trump Administration takes over. Joe Biden, led the country out of covid, he led the country in creating jobs and an economy that worked. Joe Biden, led the world in peace efforts across the globe and accomplished many items.Now, he is leaving and the country is being turned over to Trump, I am betting that by Janauray 2026, America wil be lagging behind in job creation, your taxes will rise, your health care will disappear, and the US Economy will tank. We may be headed into the biggest recession in world history, and with Trump in charge, laughed at the worse in the world too. Trump isa convicted felon 34 times over and that will stay on his record for the rest of his life. There is no place he can go to hide from it. America is about to become the largest laughing stock ever. Other countries who are democratic or republics or free countries, see what is coming and that it is Trump and they shake their heads at the American People for putting this man in the Presidency. Now, this is all my opinion folks and how I see it, since this is my blog, I write what I wish, we still have freedom of speech in America, at least for today!

When Trump’s plans go into affect, the border with Mexico, his fence will restart again, he wants to Tariff Mexico, Canada, who are allies of ours and attached to us. That alone will drive up the prices of oil, cars and more in America. Who do you think pays for those tariffs, the American taxpayer folks! he thinks strong arming your allies is the way to go, well it is if you want to lose them. we are not an island on our own here, we have allies world wide to maintain peace, and help one another out, if he goes as he speaking, well those ties will weaken.

On the home front here in America, i recommend all save their money and hold on tight. Expect taxes to rise federally and state wise on you. Someone must pay for Trump’s ideas and crazy thoughts he has. He plans on repassing his Tax Break for the rich and his cronies. He wants to kill Obama Care/ HealthCare, he wants to misuse Social Security funds and attack Medicare and Medicaid too. The damages his first days in office, never the rest of his term will cause will be substantial in all ways. I know, I have heard all the MAGA People oh Trump is Great, best thing to hit America since Apple Pie, well they are wrong and now America will see why, soon enough. Sadly, you who voted for Trump wil pay the same price as those of us, who voted against him. But the biggest damages will be economic and as I see it also in the people he is putting into high positions.

Pete Hegseth has no experience, in running any organization or business the size of The Defense Department. he doesn’t understand all of it, and in the end all it take sis one stupid mistake to set off a Nuke War, or a ground war. he has no experience in handling a budget that large, he knows nothing of the Navy, Army, Marine or air Force either. Hegseth served only in The National Guard folks. That is not a person with military strategy in his mind. he couldn’t plan his way out of a paperbox. Yet, the Congress is gonna confirm him. Sad. Kash Patel doesn’t have any knowledge of the Operation, planning or actions of the FBI either, he is not a real Director if confirmed. I remind all, Trump is putting people into position not to run the country correctly, but so he can get retribution against those who prosecuted him for crimes or investigated him. Tulsi Gabbard is not qualified either to be the DNI director. But again, the Republicans are saying Trump deserves to have his picks, sad. What happened to oversight of congress?

As we near Monday January 20th, 2025, I remind all, Trump will take the Oath of Office once more, and like last time he will speak the words, and raise his right hand on a Bible. Yet, like his first time around, he will not mean it. he is there because Elon Musk bought him the Presidency, not because he is qualified for it. Elon Musk attached himself to Trump and paid for Trump’s run for President. Why do you think he did that, simple he wants to control trump as much as he can, to prolong and extend his own financial empire, he has no worry or care for the average American or our families. It’s a sad day on January 20th, in my opinion. And if your joyous as a Trump Supporter and Maga Backer or member of MAGA, well fine so be it, but that shine will wear off quickly, I promise you.

I pray America is smart enough to keep checks and balances on all The Trump Administration is doing and will do. I pray Congress wil use their oversight powers correctly and control fundings and more. If they don’t, it won’t take Trump long to break America’s funding and spending laws. he will rip the Country off for al he can get, and at the same time sell us to Russia. It’s coming.

I write this as a Warning to Congress and the American People. Trump has ripped off his suppliers and builders over the years, he has attempted to launch a University that never happened and ate those funds. He couldn’t sell water, or steaks either. This is a man who sexually harassed and touched women he had no right to. yet, here he is in The Presidency in a few days. Sadly, Americans voted for him, which is their right, but there isa reason a convicted felon has never been a President before now, and I pray, Congress, the American People, will watch closely, monitor and keep track of all he is about to do. For in the end, we may end up the first Country to commit Bankruptcy under Trump. be prepared, is all I can say. I would walk away from Trump is I met him in person, whether as President or not. He is an unbalanced individual, old and aged, and unstable mentally and definitely physically too. Sadly, we must live with the decisions people voted in place for now. One thing to stopped and think about, if Trump, due to mental or physical disabilities, can not perform his duties, you will end up with a President Vance, you chose it folks, good luck.

Watch Trump Closely: A Warning for 2025


Good Morning January 15th, 2025! Some have suggested I should move back to Connecticut, because I do not understand the so called Massaholes here. I also don’t understand the taxes here and how the towns and state want to soak it’s residents all the time. But, that’s me folks, and no I am not moving to Connecticut in the future, I own my condo here in Westborough, Ma.

That said, lets discuss what is ahead for the nation as a whole. I did not vote for Trump and never would or will. The man is a convicted felon first off, and that alone shall never be removed from his name or reputation. He has bought himself out of it, in every case he could, yet, New York said nope your guilty, live with it. Yes it pisses him off, he is now officially the only United States President who is a convicted felon period. I would recommend, Congress and The Senate watch him closely, for he will rip off the American Tax Payers for whatever he can as he goes along. A Con Man and a convicted felon never change their colors folks, and they find ways to hide what they are doing. So, I recommend people put Donald J. Trump under a microscope, and watch him closely. Never in my lifetime have I ever seen a President who wants to kill the Department of Education, wants to go after Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid, but here one is. His views on World Affairs also suck, he thinks intimidation is the way to control the world. Lets tariff everyone, and see if they like it. While his tariffs will slow down other countries, they will kill the American Economy too. Many Americans do not understand, how tariffs work, when they find out the tariffs are not paid by other nations but by Americans in the end, well you can get the drift so to say. Anger will rise, as the economic numbers start to jump, gas prices will rise, food prices will rise and more. Trump has never been a negotiator when it comes to anything, his idea is force them to do what he wants. That attitude and anger will, cause major American Economic problems and rising prices.

Next, Trump needs to be watched closer on legal matters and using the Justice System to get revenge and retribution. He wants to go after anyone who prosecuted him, charged him etc. As the old saying goes Donald J. Trump and Baretta said it best ” Don’t Do the Crime if you can’t do the Time!” Your lucky your free to be President and The Justice System saved you. Also, you should kiss Elon Musk’s ass, he saved you and bought you, for the next four years. Bottom line, your a puppet of Elon Musk now, and Putin is pulling your strings also. You never did get out from under Putin, Trump, you just hid it well, for a while.

As we start 2025 and the Trump Administration comes into focus, take a close look folks, and Congress both the Senate and House, his appointments tell their own stories. A Defense Secretary, who only served in the National Guard, and has opinions that make no sense regarding women in the military. A Sexual Harasser of women, running the Military as sad tale indeed, and easy for Russia and others to just blackmail. Other appointments are even worse, I get he wants to shake up Washington, but, don’t be totally stupid Senate and The House, you let him have his way, with no controls on him, your done and so is America. He will sell us out to Russia and let Ukraine go down and more, He is weak, scared and not capable in my opinion. Your going to Confirm a Secretary of Defense who never handled a budget over 100 grand a year and when he did he blew it, to the tune of deficits in the hundreds of thousands. Now he can get his hands on the over eight billion dollar military budget if he is confirmed, Wake up!

That being said lets discuss another Trump item and problem here. I remind all, that Donald J. Trump is not a healthy man at 78 years old and his age alone is a factor here. If at anytime, Trump gets ill, has heart problems, or more, and can’t handle the job, you now will get a President Vance. Is that what, American’s want? Imagine, Trump enters office in a few days, his health goes south, and wham, we then have a President Vance who has no experience, no knowledge or ability to lead this nation. If you thought Biden was a problem, with a back up of Harris, well, your deeper in the shit if Vance must take over at any point. Think about it folks!

These are just a few of the facts of the coming Administration in America. Looking at it now, I can honestly say in my 69 years of life, this month I have never seen a mess so bad in American History. Oh I have heard it all, MAGA is Great, the Wall will be built, he is going to deport all immigrants who are illegal, ok, how do you pay for all of that now. Where is the money coming from for his petty bullshit projects, and how rich is his friends going to get off of all of it and him too. I never thought I would say this about American’s but, here it is, your gullible, easy to fool, and basically, ignorant of what is coming. Sadly, it is going to be your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who will suffer, when Trump buries Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, attack Health Care and destroys our reputation on the world stage. he was already laughed out of Nato in his first term, and how many countries will allow a convicted felon to tell them what to do, or allow him in their nations? Not many! he is foolish, he wants to attack Canada, Mexico and then take Greenland, the Panama Canal, and do it with military force, and his incoming Defense Secretary has already told Congress, he will do as the President tells him to. Sad !!!!

I know I can’t change how people voted, no one can, you made your decision Americans! Now I suspect, you will have to live with the results we all will. Good Luck, because me, I will mind my own, save my money left and right and not get involved with MAGA, Trump or any of it. I pray, American’s will heed my warnings here and keep very close tabs on Trump, his Administration and what he is doing, otherwise, we get handed to Putin in the near future.

The Truth About Massachusetts: Population, Politics, and Parenting


A little commentary about some subjects that may or may not disturb people here in Massachusetts and else where for today!

First, let me say this, Massachusetts, has it’s problems in many ways. It wants to increase it’s population, but has numerous problems controlling it’s citizens, and it’s tax rates. Crime in this state rises, and then towns decide they want to improve, so they attract Senior Citizens and build condos and then sell them and then tax the buyers out of them, for projects they can’t afford. That my friends is stupid, it is like a double edge sword to it’s own purpose of attracting the Seniors in the first place.

Next, let me address a common problem I have run into in Massachusetts, the popular called Massaholes so to say. let me say this clearly so I am not misunderstood, there is no need or want or any other reason for this to be. People are strange here, and mean and argumentative too. They do not accept new people coming into their state for whatever reason. Secondly, the citizens here, seem to think, they rae better than anyone else in the nation, and they are always right when they are not. Politics plays a factor here too, but, it is not as strong as this Massahole bullshit going round. Wake up folks, you can’t call for people to come to your state, to increase the population and tax base, then, tax us back out and get away with it. Sonner or later you will find, we wake up and leave, in mass exoduses. Is that what you want here, just the money you can squeeze out of people?

The Massahole affect goes deeper than you think, it is in your attitudes toward one another and strangers too. You shut people out, ignore people, fight and argue with people too. Grow up here will you! Just because someone does not think the same as you, doesn’t mean we are wrong or right, it means we have our own ideas and opinions too. Accept that will you, please and stop thinking your shit doesn’t stink! There is no excuse for the rudeness, arrogance, anger, that comes out of the Massaholes! None, it drives people away, it affects people emotionally and mentally too. Wake up! The coldness, and anger towards others is really nasty in Massachusetts and it is bad for the state and it’s citizens too.

Third problem, as I was discussing with others in online chat rooms and blogs and more, the loneliness factor here in Massachusetts, is huge. The dating scene in this state is sad. Look, whatever happened to approaching someone and saying, I like you, I like your looks, or your personality, want to have dinner or a coffee, I would like to know you? It seems in this state that is looked at as being too forward or rude or too demanding, why? Please explain that one, ladies and gentlemen, please. I have no idea, how this state even accomplishes the task of repopulating itself, if people push you away for asking someone out or liking someone. It’s stupid and if you think someone just wants you for you money, well, that is not the case always. The other thing I have noticed is Massachusetts has more narcists then anywhere I have lived or been, why? It is a sad thing to see and one has to watch out for these people, they don’t care for anyone but themselves. This Massahole attitude and problem extends into public places and worst of all on the roads, when your driving at times. Wake up, Massachusetts!

The state already has what I believe is the highest tax rate in the nation, maybe not exactly but close to it. Now I want to remind all, a new Administration is coming into power in Washington, DC and with it comes problems like never before. They intend to tariff to death our neighbors Canada and Mexico, tariff other countries to control them and try to make America first once more. I am tired of this bullshit of Make America, Great Again, it’s crap. I will remind all Americans, I was born here, I will die here, I defended this country and gave my health for it too, for 16 years, America has always been great! Why, because we have the right to Vote, to Free Speech, and a Constitution unlike any other. We have The Bill of The Rights and protections for our people. We take care of one another in many ways. We still have the best of almost everything in the world. The most resources too, so don’t fill me with crap about Making America Great Again, we never lost out greatness and never will. Wake up folks ! You can run around with your little red hats all you wish, screaming and jumping up and down, because we are America, go do it in Russia and lets see how long last there, before your either killed or shipped out to Syberia! Wake up!

Next topic, the raising of American Children these days. If you decide to have children, please remember some basic facts. 1) You made them, you pay for them ok, not State Aid or welfare. 2) It’s your responsibility to teach them right from wrong, and manners and morals and ethics. 3) Discipline them, make them understand societies rules, and common courtesies. 4) An Xbox, Playstation, or Video Game console is not there to raise your children or babysit them. It’s entertainment they must earn to have. 5) The Internet must be controlled and so must the children’s access too to it. Do, your job as parents, guide, teach and protect, and raise them properly. Teach them logic and common sense please, and correct them when they are rude or get too arrogant. What the hell happened to parenting your child and correcting them properly? Damn! One other thing too, schools are not your child baby sitters folks, they help a child learn yes, they teach your child the things needed to make a living and survive, you control your child, and their behavior in school on the streets and in places of public usage, is your responsibility, it reflects back on you as a parent and adult, when your child gets out of control, or does something illegal, wake up.

I know, I have heard it before the old argument of what decade was the best in American History. What Generation was the best to live in, and I have heard people get upset when discussing this. Well being as i was born in 1956, I can not account for any decade before 1960, in my experience. The 1960’s produced jobs and money in America, but failed to police itself properly, as we all know. we had the peaceniks, the drug usage and alcohol usage increases too. The Vietnam and Korean Wars and Assassinations too. Then, we moved into the 1970s, pot became the thing, peaceful protests, political turmoil and more. We still had the best cars and music of any era in my opinion. Yes, we had political turmoil again, Nixon and Watergate, and Agnew too. By the end of the 1970s, with Carter as President, we learned even America had to learn to save energy in the world, turn our thermostats down and worry about jobs once more. We learned or began to learn, the world didn’t like us as much as we thought and they started attacking us for political positions and actions we did in the world. In the end I still believe the 1970’s were good years, but I am partial to them.

Let me say this to all, today in 2025, we now enter a period of time, where America itself, and our way of life is at stake and our way of government too. Democracy is at stake as is the Republic as founded by the Forefathers of our Nation. We can not change the way the voting went, or the President we will have legally, but we can defend our rights and make the incoming Administration live by the rules of our land, for no one is above the law. We have checks and balances and as Americans we have the right to use them to protect our way of life and our people. The Presidency may have been bought by Elon Musk and his billions, and we may ultimately end up under a President Vance also. I remind all Americans, whether you Voted Trump or not, he is 78 years old, not in the best of health, just look at him, and imagine if something happens, you get a President Vance, I hope your ready, because i don’t think you thought of it when you got all MAGA excited and voted Trump in again. Time shall tell if I am right or wrong here, I am not young myself, so, I may or may not live to see it, happen. But, I think all politicians no matter party, race, nationality, should prepare just in case. For this is America, we will have to adapt and change and adjust, as we go forward and yes the majority voted and yes I understand that. I am just saying what few thought about when they ran to the voting booths. Sorry folks, just honest opinion here.

Let me close here with a simple thing, in America these days, there are still a few of us who have manners, ethics and morals. We still open doors for women, we still respect their opinions, we still can say without doubt everyone has their right to their own opinion. We still can be civil, polite and work together no matter what, I hope. I still have Hope in The Promise of what Our Forefathers, Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Franklin and more said, and made, and as ben franklin said, after they signed the Constitution of the United States, We shall have a Republic only as long as we the people, Protect and Defend it! Never forget that Americans, we must do that!

NFL Wildcard Weekend: Key Matchups to Watch


Sunday/ Funday begins for me. It is Wildcard Weekend in the NFL, and I enjoy the NFL and it’s playoff format, but, I also know if it continues to put it’s playoff games on pay streaming services, it will lose viewers. It isa matter of being overly greedy for the NFL. They should back down to the main stations they used before of CBS, NBC and ABC, allowing the people to view said Playoff games for free, bolsters the NFL. Forcing people to pay to see these games, will hurt the league overall, in quick time.

That said, The Games on Prime were good games both, that ended up in lip-sided wins for the two teams that won. The Ravens proved they are a team to be dealt with and a clear front runner for the Championship. The Texans have proven they are the young upstart team, rising and a threat, to challenge also. The two teams that lost on Saturday are disappointing in many ways to me. I thought the Chargers would contend at least and Herbert throwing four interceptions, greatly disappointed me. The Steelers, were on a four game losing streak and they had lost their mojo during that streak and never recovered it.

Today there are three games to be played. The first at 1 pm, will be the Broncos and Bills in Buffalo. While the Broncos show great promise and area strong team, the young Quarterback Bo Nix may decide this game, at least for them. Yet, I doubt Denver can go into Buffalo and survive, never mind win. Josh Allen a powerful Quarterback who has shown he can overcome if needed, and he controls the ball. Now the real question will not be points in this game, but who can stop the other teams offense. Buffalo has shown it’s defense is one that will fight back, and Denver’s Defense has improved over the season. Who gets to the opposing Quarterback more and gets the turnovers may indeed determine who wins. In my opinion, I say Buffalo based on Josh Allen, and the Buffalo Defense. We shall see.

At 4;30 pm, today the Packers will ramble into Philly and the Eagles may face the challenge of the Season in them. The Eagles are a great team, but, how will Jalen Hurts be and will he play first question. Second question can the Eagles be stopped by The Packers defense, I think so, if not stopped they may be held down, if Hurts is out or not fully healthy. of all the games this Wild Card weekend, this one may be the most interesting. If Jordan Love plays up to speed and his receivers do too, add in the running game and it may be a knock down, drag em out game. Barkley is running at his best in his history and he will be rested for this game. Yet I remind all, one running back will not win this alone. I expect this to be a game of hit and repeat and back and forth here. maybe the most competitive of all. Who would i take, if i were a betting man, well, don’t be too surprised here if the Packer find a way. Just my opinion of course.

Now, comes a very interesting contest in my view at 8 pm est. As the Commanders re-enter the playoff picture, with a Quarterback who has shown not only promise and skill, but a clear determination to never surrender of give up. The Commanders have their Quarterback for now and ther future in Jayden Daniels, the man can run, he is poised, he has a rocket arm and he is smart enough not to throw interceptions left and right. What of the Buccaneers though, right. Well, The Bucs are actually a team that made the playoffs in my opinion because another team crumbled. Baker Mayfield is an experienced Quarterback yes. He has numerous weapons at his disposal and he is not afraid to run if needed. Again, we come down to a game I believe that will be determined by mistakes and turnovers here. Can Mayfield hold the ball and not throw interceptions and can he move it against a pretty strong defense in the Commanders. I think as a overall look at this game can show, it will come down to turnovers and The Commanders defense, can they get to Mayfield? we shall see, I think this may be the second best game of the Wild Card Weekend right here. Yes the Commanders are a up and coming team, and may be a surprise here.

The Final Wild Card weekend game will be on Monday evening, in Arizona of all places due to the wild fires in LA. When the Vikings and Rams line up head to head, this could be a shoot out, at the OK Corral so to say. Stafford has a rocket arm and so does the Viking’s Darnold. Both teams are full of great receivers and have decent runners. Defense wise who holds the advantage here, may determine the game and who moves on. Now before I go on, I have been a Viking’s fan, since I was a child and that will never change for me. Yet, i am also a realistic person here, so I know the teams problems and faults, even under Kevin O Connell. The Vikings, while a team with a 14 and 3 record, need to be motivation big time to beat the Rams here. Sadly, they slooch off at times and think, it will be easy and do not play full out. They shoot themselves in the foot many times, by giving up the ball, and their defense not having the energy to hold at the end of games. You can say what you want, but, I know, the Vikings well, and sadly, that defense, losing energy in the fourth quarter. The Rams no matter their record are a very dangerous team, Stafford can pick apart a secondary and their running game is not easy to stop. never mind the imagination and skill of their coach. The Rams have many major weapons in Kupp, Pucuna, and their running game too. This game is going to be determined by the Vikings defense or lack of it, and if it can play up to the task. The last time the Vikings were able to do so, was when the Purple People Eaters were strong and good. is there enough in the Viking’s motivation and engine to carry them here or not. If they falter here, what will happen to the vikings future? as to the Rams they have won before, they have experience on their side and a Quarterback in Stafford who has driven this road before. Is Sam Darnold, a Quarterback who can play without mistakes, and move the team to score well? Can Darnold play, and show he can win here, or will Vikings fans be disappointed once more? The Vikings proved they did right by letting Cousins go, just look at what happened to Atlanta. But, did the Vikings find a Quarterback in Darnold good enough to carry them forward in the playoffs.
