Saturday/ObamaCare Problem/ Health/Stories


     Happy Saturday to all! 

Today I will be sitting through a film at Primerica with my wife who is a member of theirs. It lasts about an hour and a half and then it will be onto a Computer fair to see what they have in house for my XPS 420. It’s old but reliable and keeps on ticking, so do I so to say. I have only 4 gigs of ram in it and want to double it if I can, and then see about a two gig video card too. Computer fairs have just about everything so who knows I may find it all or nothing but at least I will see what they have and walk some for fun with my wife.

 The so-called Obama care fiasco has many people angry and upset with the President and Secretary of Health. In the end the ones the people should be mad at is themselves really, have patience and understand no web site or server that handles so much traffic at one clip can be built without flaws that quickly. I hear of people who are losing the Insurance Policies they have now due to the new law, and my thought is if that is the case, then give them Obama care upfront to keep them going till the glitches can be worked out and in the end they will already be signed up and can opt out later if they want. Solution given here for that  mess!

Talking Health mine is improving each day I believe, I breathe fine and my surgical wounds have healed well. The soreness in my chest is healing well and interfering less each night with my sleeping. I was told no Chemo or Radiation for my cancer that they got it all when they took my middle lobe of my right lung. So far so good Doctors and thanks for a job well done at the Veteran’s Hospital in West Haven, Connecticut.  I had and have a great team of Doctors there who saved my life and kept me going, then you have the ICU Recovery Team who got me back on my feet and moving very fast. Thank you all!

My Stories are still on Amazon’s KIndle E-Books folks, I did remove my latest and longest one, Who Makes Us, Us! because it is an unfinished story and not well written by me. The other little book I took down is the THree Mandolin Murder Mysteries in One, the reviews were bad and I don’t need that now.

A fun read about the antics of the crew, and life aboard a navy vessel. The author has a good sense of humor and made the words come alive. Review of my story,

False accusation is the real history of a man who falls in love and marries Jo and after the divorce she accuses it to sexual crimes against their daughters, thing that had never happened.
It returns to inspire love and marries another woman but Jo and the daughter never told the true.
He re-composes the relation with his daughters when already they were older, but the time cannot go back-
I recommend it, is a very touching book.

      The dates roll across the calendar like syrup over pancakes folks, and once it’s covered, it disappears and has to be replaced. So as time ticks on, I ask you what has really changed and what is really pretty or beautiful in the world? Do we know what it means to be beautiful, or just pretty or average in the world and does it really matter. Good question right, is everyone judged on looks or do we go beyond the surface to the inner person to judge or accept or deny them? I don’t know what others do and I think too many people are judged by looks not personality, so I believe in my heart of hearts, it’s not beautify or pretty, or ugly that counts, it’s the person inside that gives one attraction and that part can never hide.

       Talking of beauty, in my younger days in the 1970s and 80s on Television there were many beauties that crossed the screen. Many are gone now and some live on, and some will never leave our memories because they had a rare quality in them, not only physical beauty, but a mental beauty too. They lived beautiful lives and helped others along too, they were and will always be special. Now talented actors and actresses come and go and we know that is so, but few refine their acting talents so well they become unforgettable. One of those was Jean Stapleton of The BUnkers fame the warmth or her portrayals in her lifetime is amazing, yet it is not her looks she was known for but her acting talents. Then I come to the opposite in the man who played Archie himself, he too lacked looks, but he could act his ass off, and when they combined the two of these people bam, history was made.

       Time did move on and I remember back to a show called Charlies Angels, the original crew that worked it and starred. They included Kate Jackson, Farah Fawcett Majors, and Jaclyn Smith. I remember boys and men arguing back and forth who was the most sexy angel on the show. It never really included Kate Jackson, for her looks, but the warmth of her personality and her talents made her shine through on it.  In the end though the debate always came down to who was sexyier Farah or Jaclyn and I always said it was Jaclyn Smith, others loved the blonde Farah. I choose Jaclyn Smith because her beauty will never fade and her brains showed through and by the way what a face and body too! Jaclyn Smith went on to form her own clothing line and slip into fashion history too, brains baby, brains. So Jaclyn Smith used to make it worth my time to watch Charlies Angels back then!

       I do know this as I recall the above, never judge a book by it’s cover folks you can be shocked what you will find in the pages of it so to say.

         Next, My stories are on Amazon’s Kindle E-books these days and I must be frank, they don’t sell a lot, I guess because they either are badly written by me, or too depressing for most to read. But no matter what I shall forever keep writing and hoping that some shall read my works. I had two poems now accepted by Long Story Short the E-zine online, one was If I die, the second now is That Kiss by me, so my poems seem to hit some hearts out there.

         My Short Stories though seem to upset folks because they are mostly real life ones, that occurred in my life. Anyway I shall give you the links to three stories here and hope you will try them out and review them for me!

Unanswered Questions


                                                                                                                            

                Can mankind ever truthfully fathom from whence it came?  Can mankind solve the mysteries of space, time and love? These are questions mankind has searched for answers to since we could think on our own, I believe. But, if mankind could answer one vital question that seems to have an answer that stays just out of our reach, like what makes mankind tick? What is this ability to live, think and walk as well as talk? And why do we really exist?

                 What can we do to answer these questions, well, mankind observes itself and tries harder  than any other species on this planet to learn from its own mistakes, but seems to end up repeating them, through history if we look back. Why? Is mankind tied to some fate, some destiny? Or is it just certain things that cannot be changed or rearranged that controls the world and us and the societies we live in?

                Circumstances of time and cycles control mankind, at least this is what I can see and feel. I think the greatest example of what I am talking about came from a dying man’s mouth one day, as he spoke to his child who cried as he was dying. Son, do not cry for me, for I shall be gone shortly, I will feel no pain, no hurt or shame and for what I have done as a man, there will be no one to blame, I leave this world the same way I came, suddenly. But once I am gone, the seconds and minutes, and hours will pass, as shall the days and years you see, and in the end no one will remember me. So live each moment, day and year, like you have less time to be here! Do today what you love most and love those important to you, for someday my son, you want them to remember you. So life still has its mysteries, and it shall still have them after me, as it did before, I came to be.

                So as we hope, live and ponder and thru this planet and life we wander, remember, the planet was here far before mankind, and so was Mother Nature and father time. We try to think of what came first the chicken or the egg, or is there a creator called god, or was it all from the big bang? Mankind shall never truly know, for if we did, we would all refuse to go, and try to control things of which we have nothing, we know. We even try and map our own minds, this has been happening for ever since man has come along, in time. It escapes us as to what powers our minds, what section do what and it will for all time. The electrical impulses that flitter through cause me to be me and you to be you. So, my friends and fellow mankind remember that some questions are really meant to escape us for all time. For we may never solve the riddle of the human mind, or life for us in our existence’s time, and under anyone’s thoughts it is not a crime. For if we were to know how the human brain works with all of it’s processes and all of it quirks, we would probally destroy ourselves and not even know why, on the day that mankind, did choose to die.

Economic Ideas and Wars/Stalemate/


      Across America these days I see many people suffering for lack of jobs, a slow economy and bad political decisions by our politicians in Washington. Why is this folks, we voted to put these people in office and we divided the powers the way we did. We did not expect our politicians who we elected to tear the Government almost in half and destroy a country that was once so proud and strong, we were admired by all. It is all due to people playing games, As Rand Paul told Mitch McConnell during the latest Government ShutDown, we can win this thing, this game is ours! Sad isn’t it when politicians play games and politics with America’s future and the way the country is run, because they lost a battle over HealthCare reform, or ObamaCare as we all now call it! Leave ObamaCare alone fools, it is the law and if it fails you can repeal it later or the Democrats will help you repeal it too. Don’t hold America, hostage again over this battle, we are suffering enough, do something about our own homeless, our own hungry, our own ill, and disabled, before helping so many damn countries that give no shit about us and want to shoot us in the back as soon as we leave or turn around. Wake-up! we police the world and we get shafted in the end folks, wake up and lets stop it. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, all middle east countries who hate us and wish we were gone from the map, yet we go and fight and police their countries, wrong. How about we pull out of all the Middle East period, save our troops, our weapons and  use all the funds we do for that to turn our own American Economy around and improve the health, of our own people and country. 

       Next up, we have hit the Holiday Season here in America as Halloween has just gone by, and Thanksgiving is next, then followed by Christmas and of course New Years Eve.  Soon enough we will head into 2014,and Politicians like Hillary Clinton, Sarah Palin, Chris Christy, Ted Cruz and many more will have to decide do they want in or out of the run for the Presidency in 2016? And in each district and state across America, Americans will be making decisions again on who to send to Congress, sadly, America needs to understand you can’t divide the power the way you did last election, if you do stalemate happens once more like now. So be careful folks!

November Starts/ Holidays Blues/ Stories for all!

 Happy Monday to all!  I hope everyone’s November has started off correctly for them and things are going to be looking up for  the Christmas Season approaching quickly.  While our economy sucks, sometimes it is best to admit you are hard up or in a bad financial bind, then to try to over extend yourself for this Holiday.  While The Christmas Season is a time children and adults alike expect, presents from loved ones, sometimes you just have to tell them I am sorry, I give all I can and could to you. Life is not a bowl of cherries, when you don’t work, have no real income coming in and can’t afford to give like you have in the past! As much as I love my children and grandchildren, I am not rich, so I will try to give by writing and stories and love. I try every year to touch the hearts and souls of my daughters, their children and others, by reminding them it is the love and respect we share that is more vital, than the material things in life.

November/Introduction/Red Sox/Daylight Savings Time/Story


     November has arrived folks! Hard to believe we are under 60 days to a New Year’s Eve once more! Next up is an American Tradition of Thanksgiving and then the crazy Season of the holidays begins in full swing as everyone gets ready for Christmas Season! Ah, life will go on no matter what won’t it folks, as my Dad said when he was dying, time will continue on, whether we are are or not, so live to the fullest and have fun while you can!

      Yesterday, I watched in amazement and excitement as The Boston Red Sox celebrated their 3rd World Series Title in a decade, and I sat back watching and said to myself, I wish my dad was here to have seen it happen. He died in 1990, after raising 5 kids and being a Red Sox Fan all his life. Sadly, he never saw them win, but I did for ya dad 3 times, God Bless ya!

       A little reminder folks, today is the start of Daylight Savings Time, do not forget like I did to turn your clocks back, it messes ya up a bit!  Throws ya off a bit when the clock says one hour earlier than you thought it should!

Writing/Boston Red Sox/Wake Up for 2014


       Writers we write for one reason or another, some of us are obsessed with events in history and people in time or places or events. Others by thoughts of what could be or can’t be, or madness and joy. We writers write to get out the repressed feelings we have on a subject or another, and we try to express how and why we feel about it all and what we might do or would do it a situation. Or we write of things that were beyond anyone’s control and try to explain why others did them. In the end the words that appear on paper or on the computer screen and in books and articles, express how we feel and there is no writer who does not write without some bias or prejudice in what they write. The fact is all writing in a magazine, book, newspaper or elsewhere is colored by the person writing it and their own views and feelings, thats writing isn’t it folks! 

Boston Red Sox 2013 World Series Champions, will hold their Celebration Parade Today in Boston. A Team that came back from the worst record in Major League Baseball to the First in Major League Baseball has to celebrate! The Town of Boston, the Red Sox and Their Fans will proudly display their faces, uniforms, and the Trophy to all in BOston and enjoy and drink in the warmth of their fans, what a day it shall be Boston, Boston Strong, Boston Sure, Boston Red Sox foreverMore! Go Red Sox Go! Love ya all! celebrate well, but Safely Boston, you deserve a Celebration not just for the Red Sox winning it, but for surviving and being Boston Strong!

The 2016 Presidential Election cycle will launch in 2014 I am sure! When it does, each candidate of each party should be fully examined before the American People make a choice. While your at it Americans, stop and think about giving your next President a House and Senate they can work with and pass bills and laws through that will help the country and  it people and the economy. For no one person as President can run a country if their Congress doesn’t want to work with them, it’s called deadlock folks and we have it and suffer for it now in President Obama’s Second Term. Wake Up!

As the Presidential candidates will line up and show up soon in public and start giving speeches, stop and think Americans which one makes more sense, which one will help more people and which one will improve jobs, the economy and can handle leading us in the world in the right direction and get along with others and play well. At this time, I think we all know who the Democrats will put up as their Nominee  if she will run, but what will the Republicans do to face off against her ? That could be a surprise, but if his name is Cruz you can forget it is all I can say!

Children Center Years and Lessons/Red Sox


      I spent two years of my life, locked away in a institution, when there was nothing really wrong with me. But I survived and got some good out of it anyway.

      The Children center is located in Hamden, Connecticut on Whalley Avenue next to Quinnipiac College  and Across the street from a Reservoir! The Front is a Gate made with brick arches, a black wrought iron fence and the property is surrounded in the same. As you enter the front you see the Administration Building first and to the left a green like a city or town might have. That was back then the year was 1965, and I wasa young boy of 9 years old when they sent me there!

       The above statement is how I started a story I call The Children Center Lessons and Years that can be found on Amazon’s Kindle E-book for sale. I hope it will draw some to read it, it is a story of how a misunderstood child got locked up and worked his way to release once again.

       Next subject today, As The City of Boston celebrates the World Series Victory of the Red Sox, I hope all fans will do so calmly, and carefully and no one gets harmed. Hard to believe the Red Sox have won three World Series Championships since 2004, after the long drought of the Babe Ruth Curse isn’t it. My step-dad who was a Red Sox fan all his life and who made me one too, lived his whole life without seeing the Red Sox win one, he died at 59 years old of cancer in 1990. So Dad for you I survived and stuck with the Red Sox and now they have won three in a decade, I hope you have enjoyed them from above. I hope some shall read my short story:

Thank You to The Boston Red Sox and Congratulations on The World Series Victory!


  I want to Thank The Boston Red Sox for a great Season and Congratulate them on their World Series Victory ! 
I was born a Red Sox fan, and it took me 57 years to get to Fenway Park, and I accomplished that as a gift from my Sister and her boyfriend on September 14th, 2013, when I saw the Red Sox and Jon Lester Beat the New York Yankees, 5-1.  As you can see I stared at the game for nine innings, just check the photo here! 
  My story may be like many Red Sox Fans who never made Fenway Park, in Boston to see a game, with a few exceptions. I grew up a Red Sox fan thanks to my dad who was one. He went his whole life and died in October of 1990 without once seeing the Red Sox win a Championship, cancer took him from us, and I wish he had lived to see the Victories in 2004, 2007 and 2013 with me, we would have celebrated greatly. 
       For me seeing the RedS ox pull off a World Series Victory in 2013 for the third time in the last decade was a great feeling. My Favorite Players are Jon Lester, David Ortiz, Dustin Pedroia, and Jacoby Ellsbury, and I congratulate all of them on the win. I underwent Lung Cancer surgery on September 3rd, 2013, they removed my middle lobe of my right lung and sections of my upper lung. They got all the cancer and I will be fine, for I was fine enough to be at Fenway Park on September 3rd. And yes I am doing fine now too. My sister’s boyfriend wrote the Red Sox online that I was coming to Fenway Park to see a game because I am a cancer survivor and a Disabled American Veteran who served 16 years. I suffer from 6 herniated discs in my back, PTSD, depression and more. I received a call from the Red Sox Ambassador on the 2nd of September prior to the game that Saturday. 
       I want to Thank The Boston Red Sox Organization for the gifts they sent me and letter and say, I have lived as a  Red Sox Fan and will die as one too! Love ya Red Sox go Boston Strong!ImageImage
