The Avengers A Comic Fans Movie!

Movies, movies, movies! I am not rich nor do I get a chance to go to a movie often, yet, after waiting for a long time, a movie I waited on finally came out, The Avengers by Marvel and Disney Studios.

As a child and boy I grew up buying comic books about these characters and teams, such as the Avengers, The Fantastic Four, The X-Men, and then the DC comics side too, such as Green Lantern, Batman, Superman, and yes even Wonder Woman. It was the art work that drew me in and then the stories as they got better over time. Even Spiderman was fun and different in a world full of pain and no pleasure they brought hope to mine.

I am glad that Stan Lee who created these superheroes, allowed people to finally make movies out of them, and create a world of fantasy, fighting and joining and getting along on-screen. He stuck to his guts and told the Studios and Producers to do the characters his way as they were in his books and wham the hits began hitting the big screens. Spiderman, The Hulk, The Fantastic Four, The Silver Surfer, Iron Man and now The Avengers. The characters in the books stayed for all time as Stan Lee and Kirby made them. And I hope they will on-screen too, for the characters are loved by so many of the baby boom generation and their offsprings they deserve to be given the right production and way on the screen. The Avengers brings a cast of characters to the screen that needs little improvement at all, and is fun to watch, including the villains and beasts and armies. It’s all a fun time at the movies if you go, the intensive fight scenes, the teamwork and the way it all goes leads you to believe in teamwork and heroes, right down to Nick Fury!

If you like excitement, a plot, a story to follow and great graphics and three-D affects The Avengers is a film to see. If you were a comic book fan as a child and want to see them come to life on the big screen and cheer and laugh and enjoy, then The Avengers is a movie for you!

Preparing for That Time!

Thursday has begun once more and again another week is getting near its end, it seems folks, time flies by no matter how hard we try to change it or stop it, we all get older. The aging trap is something no one can escape it happens to all humans period.

I admire people who age and realize it and do not let it affect the way they live. They still get up and enjoy their day by doing what they love in everyday. Some go walking, some do art and writing and yet others still do gardening and woodworking and more. The longer you do what you love to do, I believe the longer you will live. Broaden your loves and likes and find the thing that makes you feel whole and alive and grasp on and keep it in you and with you.

Exercise is good too for all getting older as is taking some vitamins and supplements, but don’t over due, take only what is recommended by a Doctor for you. Watch the weight and posture, don’t sit and slump, move and have fun. It seems the ones who stay active live longest unless struck down by illness or disease.

Live each day  like it is your last, have fun, do it well and don’t do it fast!. Enjoy it while you are here folks, for all  us know our days will come, for we are human. Prepare for that day by making a will and letting your thoughts be known for when you die. Don’t let yourself end up on Potters Hill or in an unmarked grave forgotten forever. You owe that much to your family, your loved ones and your friends.  Not to mention yourself and your own self-respect, believe me, for we all want remembered by someone after we are gone.

Coffins and services go up in price and not all can afford such things. Personally, I do not want a Wake or Funeral, nor a religious ceromony. As we grow older, prices are getting more and more expensive to bury someone . I want to be buried at sea where I served for 12 of my 16 years as a U.S. Sailor who was Honorably Discharged. I want The Navy and one of their War  Ships, to take my ashes after cremation, to sea and dump them in the ocean off of my favorite port of call, Peru. No I am not  South American, I am an all American of Canadian French and Scottish decent, yet Peru is the most beautiful country and the people the best in the world and the waters are clear and clean there and I know I will rest in Peace. I also know The Navy will present a Flag to the survivor of my choice to remember me with and that is all I can ask as a man, a person and a human being. God Bless and I hope all can make a decision for themselves before their time comes too, that way you keep the burden off your children your wife or husband and friends too.

Children of the Future !

Certain things in life we don’t go broadcasting all over the world or to friends or family. We don’t all brag about our sexual conquests, we don’t all brag where we get our money from and we don’t all brag every time we win or lose. But we all brag eventually about surviving and our children. Life is built around survival and the children or off-spring we have and how they impress us, with simple things at first then with more complicated ones and achievements. We all want to see our children do good and become able to survive, do better than we did and achieve their dreams. It is what makes a family a family no matter what. It’s that need of parents to see your children do good and the child’s need for parents approval.

Yet across the world children go loveless, hungry, homeless and more, They get sexually molested and used and abused and more. Some are sold into slavery, some are killed in wars and by mentally ill parents, why, the child did not ask for what they got, nor did they ask to come into the world, did they? Nope two adults got together and created you and me and all children in the world no matter what color, race, creed, nationality, it’s all the same. A child is a child and should be protected and allowed to grow up and become who they should be, by someone watching out for them, teaching them and feeding and clothing them and providing for them period. Too many people have children out-of-wedlock or by accident, and can’t take care of them either, so they abandon them, or leave them on a step, some even kill them, or toss them into the streets. Sadly, we then wonder, how come that person is not normal, well no one taught them to be is why?

I don’t care if your white, black, yellow, brown, or any other color or nationality, you know what I am saying is right! Children are the future of the world and nothing else matters. They will lead us in the future, they will invent, innovate and motivate each other and interact and make the world a better place for all. They will come up with inventions, medical knowledge, ways to politically conquer the world and lead others to a better place, Protect your children, raise them with respect, caring and love and teach them as the United States Declaration says, All Men are Created Equal! For in the end we all laugh, we all cry, we all get anger and we all sigh,we all bleed and our blood is red, it doesn’t matter what color or the hair on our head. Humanity my friends is one race and we all belong to it, just look and study each others face! The  children of the world is what it is all about, we must protect them and care for them, teach them equality, and respect and in the end we shall find a world of peace and hope and a bright new future!

Wakes/ Funerals, Families and Me

Families, some are close, some are apart and some estranged, but let someone die and everyone comes out of the wood work. It’s amazing if you have a family member die, how many people who you haven’t seen in decades suddenly show up. It doesn’t matter if your religious, or not or what religion you are lost relatives tend to pop out of the wood work.

No one likes wakes and funerals and i am no exception at all. I hate the fact people want displayed after their death, for all the family and friends to see. I hate having to pretend to know someone you really don’t because it is family, but many in the religions of the world perform this rituals and ceremonies because it is what they were taught by their churches and parents. I understand the traditions and reasons, I don’t understand the real purpose of doing it all except the cost and hours the immediate family must sit there and greet strangers not really known to them.

The American way of life promotes family and it promotes traditions , but this wake , funeral thing is one i will never understand or want for myself. I am a man who was outcast and a lone wolf for at least 24  my life, never wanted or cared for by my immediate family, just taken care of because I was theirs. I was beaten, harassed, thrown around and abused and mentally tortured in ways by my whole family as a kid. Then I was used to do work and rebuild a home with my step-father who, beat me with boards, shovels, lead pipes and more to keep me inline. In the meantime I never knew what a hug or a kiss from a mother was, she was too busy taking care of the only child she did care about her first. The rest of us, of which there were four more, were after thoughts is all. Yes she performed the protective angel part in front of friends and family, but let me tell you mom was not a loving woman. As her second husband said for all the years they were married, she had no motherly instinct at all.   Family is not necessarily, blood and flesh, nor are they always the ones you live with. But they are the ones who show up, assist you and care for you when you are down and out, or hurting in any way. That is the way family is supposed to be, not what was given to me as a child and son.

Wakes and funerals even for a full-grown man are scary, and dark and sad. To stand there and greet people as my dead one lies there is not my thing, greeting people who may have known them but not us is rough too.  In the end I just couldn’t force anyone to go through that when I die. So for me I will have no part of wakes and funerals, but I will have The Service I honorably served in for my country, cremate my body and take my body to sea and bury me there. It is cleaner, less of a scene and I don’t have to worry who shall cry over me or not, or show up or not, I will be at eternal rest in the ocean from which all life came from in the beginning.

Two Kennedys, One King Jr. . and More!

Two Kennedys, One King Jr. . and More!.

Two Kennedys, One King Jr. . and More!

Assassinations, they happened in big numbers in the 1960’s in America! We all know of John Fitzgerald Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr., and Robert Kennedy too, but do we know how many of these great leaders were killed by conspiracies, to stop their climbs to the stop or their movements? We do now and shall forever more.

John Kennedy was not killed by a lone assassin nor was Robert or Martin, they were killed by conspiracies that rocked America and the world. Taken down by bullets of more than one person’s involvement and two out of the three by more than one shooter. Why, simple, the people found these men leaders who they could follow to better the world and others found them radicals they couldn’t believe in or threats to their things happening. That is the purpose of these things, Assassins are meant to stop movements and people from becoming too big, and their followings too.

Recently a woman has come forth in The Robert Kennedy assassination and said it more than once there were more than 8 shots fired in the kitchen in LA that day in 1968. She was there, she was an eye-witness who saw and heard the shots, the tape reveals she is telling the truth for 13 shots are heard on the only audio tape of the moment. Like his brother before him Robert Kennedy had a vision for America and a want to clean it up and take out corruption too. He was shot to prevent him from running rapid over crime and it’s organizations as well as to stop his rise to the Presidency.  Sad isn’t it how Americans kill the leaders that are doing good because they fear them. History has many examples of it too.

James Garfield shot and died, from not the right medical treatment, Abraham Lincoln shot by Booth, Kennedy shot by Oswald they say, but really shot by at least three shooters, Martin Luther King Jr. a man preaching peace and justice and freedom, shot by a crazy man, who did not work alone, and then Robert Kennedy shot by Sirhan Sirhan and another in the kitchen in LA in 1968. Victims of believing they could make a difference in America and in the world shot down by extremists and people with different platforms to advance.

In the 1970’s investigations were the thing to do in these cases, and  committees and commissions did them. Each time the murders of the two Kennedy Brothers and Martin Luther King Jr. are opened and reviewed the conclusion is the same conspiracies existed to stop these men from getting power in America and the world , sad isn’t it? I mean we grow the leaders, we help them become the leaders they are and then when they get so big they look like they can make a difference someone comes along and kills them all. You can blame Organized crime, lone nuts, crazy people, or you can look at the logic behind it and see, all of these men were feared for the places they could take America and the world for the positions they represented, by people involved in positions for the opposition, yes it is covered up and hidden, but no one assassinates anyone without a reason, it just doesn’t happen that way.

The Kennedy Assassination and parts of its paper work and files and more are still sealed in Washington and  I am talking John’s death, till at least 2030 or further. When people ask for the information they get redacted documents hiding information, why?  The bottom line is the Government is withholding this information on the grounds it will expose the lack of effort to find the real killers and who really did it.

Protect us yes, hide the truth and the facts no, we need a new set of lawmakers who can stand up in Washington, and get the information released and the truth told to all Americans and the World, the only way to save America’s future is not to hide its past mistakes and nuts, but to reveal it all and prevent it all from happening again!
