Connecticut has to get it together and realize what is going on before it is too late and it goes bankrupt! During the late 1970s it began it’s downward spiral, with the lose of major manufacturing firms in the state and military contracts. Across the state Scovills, Timex, Uniroyal, Chase Brass and Copper, Anaconda and The Naval Ship Yards losing contracts has devastated the economy here. people are hurting and malls and building stores is not the way to relieve it.

Lower the Manufacturing tax, cut it in half and attract more manufacturing to Connecticut. Give them breaks to bring jobs back to the state, to employ the blue class workers of Waterbury and other cities, train those who are blue collar to do white collar jobs.  You can’t keep building malls and stores when there is no one with money to buy the items you are selling can you?

Connecticut’s infrastructure is falling apart also, the roads and highways  stink here. Potholes and construction stop people from getting to and from where they need to go for work and medical stuff. Sadly, no one is moving in the right direction for greed is getting in the damn way. Too many politicians are greedy and making millions off the connecticut population. Taxes go up for individuals and for manufacturing and companies but no improvements get made why is that, why are there no jobs in Connecticut these days, well the above is the answer.

There is also a lack of respect for others, a lack of education and funding for education for everyone, because the country has become so lackadaisical in it’s approach to raising children, and disciplining them. Children are not disciplined enough to be able to get to college on their own and too many fail or drop out of high school. education is at the minimum levels for many kids. Parents don’t teach them respect for their elders, work attitudes and more. Sadly, the change started in the 1970’s and became in force and has not changed. Sadly as the 1980’s came about parents feared the law because children started filing for divorce from their parents and revolting and no one stopped them. Shows like The Bill Cosby Show of the 1980s, taught people to not spank or hit their kids, raise them using psychological methods, talk to them. well it doesn’t work Mr. Cosby, no it doesn’t america! It is a world of all talk, no discipline, and they don’t learn because there is no re enforcement of it by parents. 

              In the end Connecticut is failing it’s own children, it’s population and it’s infrastructure too as well as it’s job market that was once so rich and full of jobs and manufacturing it was one of the richest states in the country.We may be the Insurance capital of the world, but it is growing poorer each day and failing it’s people big time.

      Sadly ladies and gentlemen, we are now seeing the Republican plan to stop Hillary Rodham Clinton from become President, they are throwing everyone they possibly can up for their parties nomination. So many of these people don’t even have any experience of any kind in the political world never mind in the Federal Government. Others who do that are running on the republican side, have no business running period for they are foolish.

Look let’s face some facts ok, not a one of the Republican Candidates have any where near the experience, knowledge and skills of Hillary Rodham Clinton.  Secondly, none of them have a back-up behind them as good as William Jefferson Clinton the former President.  With Hillary you will get a two for one deal that can’t go wrong, believe me!.

         Hillary wants to help the low and middle classes obtain status and jobs and education. She believes in Health Care for all and will keep Obama Care in place, she won’t attack Social Security or Medicaid or Medicare. Unemployed will get help finding jobs, for she will create jobs and restore manufacturing to the USA, she will change Fair Trade Laws and change the ratio of the imports and exports, to America’s favor. The Chinese and Japanese are ruling there now, because Americans can’t afford to make those products as cheap as they do. Hillary can change that folks, give her a chance!.

Before you elect a Republican this time folks stop and think clearly, they want to get rid of Social Security and phase it out, not extend it. They want to kill Obama Care and make you pay more to be insured sad isn’t it. They want to take stronger stands against ISIS and Al Qaeda, and i have no objection to that myself but not at the expense of American troops and military costs that are escalating at an unbelievable rate. Check the Billions already by the American Government now in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran and the Middle East period, the numbers are crazy. Check the dead and wounded, and what are they fighting for, people who don’t care and won’t even defend themselves, wake up!

          I have a solution to it all that would work just fine folks. America is already involved in so many Middle East conflicts and countries, trying always to defend and protect others, isn’t it time we stopped? Pull our troops out and our military gear and weapons too, and our advisors. IT’s time America starts taking care of itself here at home. Put all that money to good work here at home, create manufacturing, and jobs,support Health care for all, and refinance Social security and Medicare and Medicaid. Americans are living longer folks and we need these programs to save and protect and help our own older generations. Who will take care of them if we don’t?

 Lets use some money to rebuild our infrastructure and roads and bridges. Lets use it to make College Education affordable for all and to feed our own hungry and get homes for our own homeless sleeping in our streets in cardboard boxes.Lets get help for our Homeless disabled Veterans with PTSD who lay in cardboard boxes in the cold and barely survive. Lets stop and help those walking the streets of America with signs like, Will work for food, will work for a place to sleep, and more. Isn’t it time America was put back on it’s feet in all ways? Elect Hillary Rodham Clinton President and Remember folks America is one of the few countries where our women are strong enough, reliable enough and strong enough to lead and do it right! Elect Hillary this time folks and you won’t regret it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

     I grew up in the 1970s for my teens attending High School in the 1970s from 70 to 74, in small town Naugatuck Connecticut. I would listen to tunes and chase girls for high school days like every red blooded american boy back then. Some of us were long haired and wise asses, some of us were book worms and some of us just average kids, influenced by those things around us including friends, relatives and yes music.

Many were influenced by Rock bands like Aero-Smith, Deep Purple, The Doors and more, me I was influenced by the three I call mellow rock and roll greats who are now overlooked. Sadly, Seals and Crofts, Jim Croce and Harry Chapin who paved the road for many are over looked and should not ever be.Yes , I grew up when a story teller as a song writer and singer meant something, listen to their songs folks, and you will find in my opinion, musical genesis and brilliance in it all.

I would sit in my room on the third floor of an old dutch colonial and the music playing and me singing loud and proud to it all, Songs now forgotten by many like Jim Croce’s I got a Name, You Don’y Mess Around with Jim, and Lover’s Cross, Chapin’s Taxi and Taxi sequel and  Seals and Crofts Summer Breeze and Diamond Girl and get lost in my fantasies and think about the friends and family I had and what i wanted in life. I would dream of places I wanted to go, people i wanted to be and what I could accomplish in life, to the tunes of these great artists. They paved a road for me to grow up on and to think about of peace, love, caring and more, and I followed them as closely as I could.

These people, Jim Croce, Harry Chapin and Seals and Crofts told life’s stories in songs and gave me the greatest entertainment and pleasure i had in my young life at the time. They all belong in The Rock and Roll Hall of fame in Cleveland, Ohio and remembered for the greatness they gave us all. To The Rock and Roll Community and The Hall of Fame I say elect all three in, and make them a big part of history!
