OK, America it is time to have a discussion many of us have avoided for over a century now. It is time to face some facts and the reality of multi-racial america as it is today, versus what it was yesterday.  It is time to discuss the racial divide that will either, destroy America or unite it. Hopefully if faced now we can save the Republic, the country and most probably the world and all people, but it will take honesty, hard work, and relearning what was taught to many Americans over time. So, let me start with a little American History lesson folks and we can go from there.

The African Americans, should realize they are not the only race, or people in America to be mistreated and used and abused. Yes, we all know of the plight of those African Americans who were raised and used as slaves in the south, and their rights trampled upon and so much more. But go back before that time and we find the American Indians as the most mistreated and used and abused and abandoned and killed off people in America. So slavery and racial inequality has been a part of America from it’s creation till now and it shall never disappear in my opinion, for it is not really racial inequality folks, it is a battle of wills between many different people living in a tea pot full of different ones, for the control and majority issues of America. I know all of the history to how america was built folks and you should too, with so many different people coming here because they wanted to, America was and is still the land of opportunity and will forever be. Yet, I must admit of all the races, in America, the only race that didn’t come here on their own are the African Americans. They were dragged from their families in Africa and brought to America as labor, and that was just so wrong and we all know that now, but it is too late to change it. But the truth is the African American is no different then the white American, or the Hispanic American or the Oriental American or any other American. Yet, we see them cry for justice louder, stronger and with more energy than any other race or culture in America, why? They are battling the slave years and the images of the slave years and the torture they went through. I agree with the battle and their right to it, but destruction is not the right way to do it.

Do not misunderstand what I am saying people, I agree they were mistreated, abused, used and beat upon by white americans in the old days, especially in the southern parts of America. I also understand how as a people they want revenge for the past and still feel as if they are not equal and abused. In the end though, it has now been well over a century or more since a man has been held a slave in America, isn’t it time to wake up and realize all men are created equal and we all hurt and bleed and die, no matter our race, color or creed, in the same ways. Time is flying by in the world, and things are changing and we all know and realize it too, so can we learn to live in peace and do things by the laws folks. Where once America was a  purely caucasian ruled land, with whites in full power, it is not that way today. African Americans are now the majority folks, and we all know it, they out number all races in america and more than likely in the world. Natural selection, and more has taken the world in that direction for sure and so has nature period, so it is time, to realize it folks.

While the 1950s and 1960s, will be remembered for Civil rights movements and great people like John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr. and the call for peace, and growth, it is also remembered as one of the best eras ever in American History, because it is the time we all came together to help the country not destroy it. It is not the days of numerous jobs and lots of money anymore, where a comic book cost a kid a nickel, bread .35 cents, milk a buck. The world is attacking America and it’s economy from all sides folks, they give companies reasons to leave America and go elsewhere to run. Why, because Americans are overly greedy and impulsive and stubborn. You want jobs back in America, give companies tax breaks in your state, or town or city, give them a reason to create jobs. Don’t tax them to death and then cry when they leave and you have no jobs, ok.

      And in reply to the Ferguson mess now happening I say this to the African Americans of Ferguson and the United States, because one child was killed for doing what he shouldn’t have, is it your right to destroy property, burn buildings, loot stores, harm innocents and more? I think not, and I believe you know that also folks, no matter what color your skin, or culture your background, or religion you be, the final line is you are Americans and we have laws and more. Wake up please, I think you are destroying your chances to be heard properly by being destructive, be constructive, talk, debate and protest peacefully and make everyone understand what you believe and want. Destroying the town you live in by burning it down, looting it’s stores and beating on others and destroying property is wrong and only hurts the people who live in Ferguson, isn’t it true. Stop and think of the future now, how many businesses did you destroy, how many buildings and cars did you burn, how many people did you harm, and in the end who did  you harm more than anyone else, yourselves. Ferguson will go on now to become a desolate town, with no businesses in it and no jobs and no one will come there to bring jobs, because they fear what has happened will happen again, wake up, people of Ferguson, isolating your town from the world will not help you all survive will it?

       I will end this now, with a fact very few Americans want to admit or acknowledge, the white  race in America  is now the Minority Race and The Black race is now the majority folks, face it and live with it ok. While the whites feared the blacks in the 1950s and 1960s, the blacks were producing children in shear and simple numbers, not all did it but a majority did. We the people are all colors, races, religions and cultures though and we all bleed the same,we all die the same, and we all must live the same, God Bless America and the World.

      The Micheal Brown Jr. case has ended folks let it go. It seemed for a while like the investigation, would show the Officer Darren Wilson was wrong, the truth is he wasn’t. 

There was no Police Officer shooting a perfectly innocent African American Male here, who was a child at heart , There was a African American male who attacked a police officer in his car, tried to take that officer’s gun and failed to do so, and then who ended up shot twice at the car before he ran away. What Business did Micheal Brown have in punching Officer Wilson in his face in his car? and then trying to reach the Officer’s gun? That is and was the real question here and once MIcheal reached inside that car and struggle to get the gun and failed, did anyone think, the officer would not chase him down and try to arrest him still? Come on people of Ferguson wake up ok, this is not the case you wanted it to be, where an innocent african american was killed for no reason! 

  Next subject here is simple people of Ferguson, why would you riot, destroy police cars and loot your own stores because a person was killed by police and it didn’t go your way with the Grand Jury?  Do you really think the way to change the laws and be better protected is by attacking police cars and stores in your own town? If so then you are ignorant people and deserve to rebuild it all, and pay the cost of repairing and restocking the town yourselves. Sadly, you didn’t hurt the system, hurt a cop, or help yourselves by looting the stores that serve you, you made yourselves look like animals in a crazy filled world attacking everything and anyone in sight, because you didn’t get your way. Wake up, settle down, say goodbye to Micheal Brown Jr. like his parents did, and remember him in a good light before he made his mistake. Don’t soil his memory folks, by continuing to act like animals gone mad, honor his memory of his life and honor the good parts is all you should do and move on to a future and change and correct the laws.

     Immigration !!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is screamed back and forth like it is a strange disease or something, why? This is America, we were built on immigration and thats how we became who we are in all ways. We are indeed a nation of immigrants and we should be proud of it, Italians, Irish, scottish, polish, german, and so many other slal in one bowl and mixed well and you get America out of it all!  so why the big cry over President Obama’s Executive Order on this? Simple, the Republicans didn’t want Obama accomplishing a damn thing, he is a democrat they are Republicans and they would oppose anything from him even if it was welfare for abandoned babies. They just want Obama to sit like a dead duck in office and do nothing, that way they can say look, the democrats were in the White House and they failed. Yeah, we know they hate Obama Care, they hate his decisions on Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, and so much more. In the end though the guy took on an office he wasn’t fully ready for, because he looked at it as the ultimate honor in the world and he has served six years already and his final two are started, Let him have some peace of mind and some kind of  legacy won’t you, you Republican bastards.

I don’t care if your an illegal immigrants from whatever country, if you hispanic, german, irish, polish, black, white or male or female, if your in America if you work for a living, like religious freedom and living in peace, you belong here! I know, I know many will say what does a white man, who has a scottish and french background know right, I know my Grandparents came from two different countries and made it here in america by hard work, paying their taxes and raising their families. so should everyone else have that chance too. No corrupt people will be accepted, and this gives the  five million a chance to apply for citizenship on the legal side and be added to the voter roles and tax roles, legally. Yes, Congress still needs to pass an immigration bill and do it right, so no punishment hits these people who are running from a life of pain and suffering to a land of hope and peace, help them don’t kill their hopes. We the people, remember United we stand, divided we fall, well, wake up and help these folks and lets get on with life.

       Here is a thought for all, ever notice when your in trouble, or under the weather, or something stupid happens to ya, who is there for you? I ask this for a reason and to make a point folks, those who are not currently in your life you once knew so well, are not anymore because they became too engrossed in their own lives, to remember you existed. It happens when people get married, it happens when a death hits a family, it happens when, you don’t think it would.

Families get divided over stupid shit too, believe me I have seen it happen. I think he is cheating, I think she is cheating, is one of them. Don’t divorce or separate unless your positive and have proof ok. Do people realize how much goes into a relationship, and how much work they went thru to get one to work, before they end it, nope! It’s all about the present situation is all, no one remembers who stood by them when things were, good bad and indifferent, no, anger fuels them, or jealousy and wham it’s all over. Before you go off half-cocked make sure your right and not just imagining things folks.

OK, now that I ranted on that one, whats next right? Well, I am a Disabled American veteran as I have said a million times before, and I write short, stories, poems and blogs for fun and to keep my mind active. I have lived a life filled with events, for I was born in 1956, in the Eisenhower Years. I didn’t know anything of course, until I heard JOhn F. Kennedy give his Speech when he went into office. His speech motivated America to go to the moon, to put in place civil rights laws, he stared down the Russians and began his march  toward a second term. Yet one lone man killed him they say, is it true who knows any more. The point being is Kennedy put promise, hope, determination, and motivation in place that lasted thru to the 1970s and almost the 1980s. It spurred America to the moon, it spurred grow, it spurred jobs, the Peace Corps, and so much more. One speech folks can motivate Americans toward greatness in many ways, as Kennedy showed us.

We don’t seem to have that kind of leader anymore, do we? Where did the candidates go who can motivate, spur, and make Americans listen and do what is right? Do we have a candidate like that nay where in America now a days? I will tell you what I think and you can comment, send me hate mail, or nice comments, which ever you want, once you read this!

America needs a bold leader, one who will make jobs, we need a leader who can make the American dollar worth what it once was before. Yet we also need a leader who can motivate the people to move toward a better future for all, and make sense of what is happening today, We need a leader who can unite, not divide, color, sex, religion mean nothing if people can’t eat, or sleep inside in warmth at night, we need to help Americans first and foremost.

I remember the 1960s well, kids played in yards outside everyday, and came in at night with very little fear. Bread cost a whole  twenty nine cents back then, milk was abundant, people ate and very few homeless people walked the streets. People had jobs, because factories were here, and so was the chance to make a good buck for your family. People had pride and they worked to improve themselves and help others, what went wrong? Moms worked, dads worked , their children found jobs to help out, that is the America that worked folks. Children ran out and go a paper route to help out and a job as soon as they got old enough to do so. We didn’t live then in front of computers, Video game consoles, we read books and explored the woods and  played with friends, not based on color or religion or sex even, but on who we liked for who they were. So, How does America get back to the simple things and start to recover from the mess of the 1990, and now the 2000s, simple folks, we find someone who believes the best is what I said and elect them as President and give them a congress to help them out. I have studied candidates folks, and believe me, no Senator Cruz will do, nor do the Republicans show a candidate who will be able to do it. If you find one, then you come tell me ok. I see only one choice as we get ready for a new Presidential Election in 2016.

Yeah, I know the naysayers will scream and yell, then who cares, the truth is America needs leadership, courage, toughness, honesty, loyalty, and a creative mind. America needs spirit and smarts in the lead, they need experience, guiding, determination and a vision, as well as smarts period. We need a candidate who can build jobs, keep health care, social security and medicaid and medicare alive. One who can make homes more affordable, food more affordable and kick Americans asses to get them moving once more. Now you tell me who has that kind of spirit, knowledge and ability to lead and comes with aback-up that has already been there? One person needs to run and we all know who it is, Hillary Rodham Clinton. She will lead, she will make decent decisions and defend and grow America, and she will a valuable resource with her William Jefferson Clinton, experience will count. So, I say Vote Hillary Rodham Clinton President and take the two for one deal and lets make America strong once more!

     My belief about families and people who get married and have children will never change, period. If you love one another and you have children, do me a favor, love them or make a decision not to have them ok!   The saddest part of watching children and parents and how they are raised is found in two words, as parents grow tired of each other, separation comes into mind first and the question arise for the children why?   Then the second comes up in one word Divorce, do parents know how devastated children become from it for real? Or do they care as they hate each other and the children stuck in the middle get punished and hurt, do they even begin to think about it?  I believe they don’t, they get so angry and upset and yell and scream and toss each other out and away from their own children the child is forced to go elsewhere for a parent to teach and protect them. Then you have the disassembling of the American family, sad isn’t it?   This is where we get our children who become mentally and emotionally disturbed and don’t fit into society today, and then there are the parents who stay together for the good of the children, yet, because they do they wreck their children by spoiling them and beating them. One versus the other, in a divorce kills the child in the middle for they can’t understand why the split happens and no one can explain it to them properly. Sad huh?

The destruction or incompleteness of the American family is why American children are not turning out to be much. The ones that shine have a family, a parenting couple and siblings that make them go forward and become something good instead of bad in society.  A single parent is not the way for any child to be raised, but, in many cases it does work if the parent never lets the child see their anger. A peaceful love atmosphere  for a child is everything and believe me, loving parents no matter what sex they be, gay or straight, makes no difference, as long as they love the child makes it easier for the child to grow up normal. Adults must learn to make right choices for the children in the cases of separation or divorce, not for themselves, don’t be selfish, be an adult and remember your actions and decisions are watched by your child and absorbed into their life. What you do in broken relationships and in front of your child can affect their future attitudes, and relationship too, it’s a cycle folks and we all live through it. Don’t make it an evil or messed up one for the child you brought into the world! They are indeed the future of the world!

      In life like any other creature on the planet mankind must fight his battles too, One for dominance, survival, health and freedom. Mankind  must fight diseases, weather, pain, hurt, emotional and sometimes even mental breakdowns to survive. We do so, each of us with help from other human beings and medical advice, or we struggle on our own and make it, not all are lucky enough to.

As you walk around young and proud and healthy and strong, do you ever stop to think about the ill, the handicapped, the mentally incapable or barely capable? Do you stop to give a helping hand, to say thanks to a veteran, to help an older person cross a street or carry something, do  you hold a door open for others?  Whats the chance of you saying hi to a person in need who wants money to live, needs a place to live or a meal to survive? My guess is you drive by them everyday in America and don’t even bother to pay attention to them! They look like hobos or bums, begging for a buck and a meal, and you fly by saying not me, I have my life to think about, right? It is sad is it not? but true in America!

When I was growing up less people were walking the streets begging for food then today, I didn’t see people with signs in the streets begging for food and help and a roof over their head, why well one big generational difference is why! When I was a kid people learned to walk to school, they didn’t have computers, tablets,, gaming consoles and all the shit kids have today. We didn’t fight with everyone either, we learned to compromise and get along or stay away. We learned to care and help a neighbor, friend or even a stranger out. we grew up in a society of we the people, for the people, not the me, me, me society of today. We have gone and  I have said this repeatedly in past blogs and stories I write, Americans have gone from the we society to the me society and it’s not good folks.

           What happened to the America where if someone had a flat tire people would stop and help? What happened to the people who helped children, not destroyed them, but helped them when they got hurt and smiled because they did a good thing? What happened to kids playing outside in the yards and neighborhoods , with each other and having  fun? Ever stop and wonder why it all changed, what made America the cold place it is today? Do we even know folks, is it prejudice, discrimination, fear , of one another. is it the color of one’s skin, the way one talks, walks or dresses, or is it indeed started in the home by parents who pass the hate and anger of their own lives onto their children? What is it folks, if we could solve it, we could go back to we the people as a society and be the we society again, instead of this damned me, me, me society and move forward together!
