The Fight for Survival of America’s Middle and Lower Classes
The fight for the survival of America’s Middle Class and it’s working force has begun. The Presidential Race of 2012, will indeed, tell us if America’s lower class and middle class will survive for the future. We the people must decide now who is to win the most powerful position in American History and the Worlds, too. The American Presidency deserves to be filled with a man who has the knowledge and ability to make good decisions not for themselves, but for the people.
The stance of President Obama, versus the stance of Romney is what will decide the November Election on November 6th. I just hope the American people have enough sense to stick with what we have and not trade positions!
Before you vote come November think, and think hard, the Children of the fifties and sixties need to control the outcome of this election. We need to save the Postal Service, Medicare, and Social Security we have all paid into the last two and there is no reason for the Postal Service to go either.
Yes the Economy is the priority and Obama has worked his ass off trying to fix it to be opposed by his rivals in the Senate and House. If we reelect President Obama and change the outcome in Congress and give his one he can work with, the country will turn around. The blockade in Congress has to be broken to let Obama find ideas that will work.Manufacturing is beginning a comeback now, and the housing market is low, but in the end you can’t improve a bad thing like our economy is, without having support.
The Republicans borrow from Social Security, want to kill Medicaid and Medicare and would let the Postal System die if they could. But none of that helps the American Economy or the job market does it. Manufacturing coming back will do it if you allow the democrats to win this fall. This country was built on hard work and the american blue-collar people, we need to put them back to work. We need more factories, more Manufacturing, more innovation and inventions and tax breaks to bring the big companies back to the USA.
We need the trade agreements rewritten and improved to increase our exports over our imports and to stabilize the housing market to turn it around. We can’t sit dead in the water as a country as the bickering, blockading and bullshit continues to harm our country and way of life.
Save Social Security, Save Medicaid and Medicare and Save the United States Postal Service. Create jobs, give tax breaks to companies to stay in this country and correct the Trade Agreements now. We need a better America not a weaker one, leave the Military alone too, it has to keep protecting us, don’t send them to other lands and ask them to police there, just keep them here and use that money at home. That alone will help America come back!
America’s Needs and Choices 11/2012
America’s Needs and Choices 11/2012
Across America the race is on for the White House in November of 2012. The Incumbant President Barrack Obama should be and is favored to beat his challenger Williard Mitt Romney the Republican. Hopefully if America has any common sense and intelligence left, they will choose the best of the two and while they are at it, back it with a Senate and house full of people in the same party. This stalemate and log-jam in Washington is killing any hope of bettering the economy and the United States.
Personally speaking I will back whatever candidate can put a stop to borrowing from Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare and save these benefitial programs for the people in the future. The one that can find a way to reinstill funds and make these programs last will be the President in Hanuary 2013, of this I have no doubt.
The candidate who can come out with a way to give tax breaks to manufacturers and companys that produce jobs and help raise our exports over, imports will win too. Jobs and the Economy stupids you get it yet, like Bill Clinton was told it’s the economy.
No more wars, no more fighting middle east battles or battles across the globe we can’t win, or can turn into morasses that weigh us downa nd eat up money and weapons and military personell, please. We don’t belong in Iraq, Afganistan, or any Middle East country fighting wars, or policing Nations that care not about us and will stab us in the back as soon as they can. Wake up in Washington, the bell shall toll for thos epoliticians who voted for wars, who voted for American involvements without help or for policing actions. Americans are tired and that includes the American Military too. They will go where the President says of course for he is their Commander in Chief, but stop please, these people men and women are human and can only take so much, the time to rest the troops and stop their battles is now. Too many suicides, too many PTSD cases, too many injuried or dead military personell who gave their health and lives for what, to police other nations to take down dictators in countries that will only regrow a new one. We need to stop now and save all the time, effort and money for inproving America’s Economy, America’s job market, housing market and our status in the world. Wake up Washington Please!
The battle that is needed to be won, is hear at home now, not overseas in a war or policing zone in the middle east. We always support our Allies, but, in the end many of them turn on us and we end up with the short end of the stick for our efforts. The time now is to, stop overstretching our borders and flexing our muscles and to realize it is hurting us as a country to do so.
Come November on Election Day, American’s need to find which man and his partner, will be able to find the ways to keep us out of wars, save those funds at home, increase jobs, improve the economy, educate our children and in the end, increase exports over imports once more and change the current Trade Agreement so they help America not the World anymore. We need a President who can stand up and say no more will America, send help easily, no more will America be babysitting and policing the world. We need an American President who can stand up and say, Yes I will save Social Security and Medicad and Medicare. Yes, we need a real Leader who can lead and isn’t afraid of stepping on toes to make America strong again and resilent. So Americans make a choice, whether Obama or Romney and which one you believe can solve America’s biggest problems without, letting the world kill us more.
Want it Folks, Want it All !
Want it Folks, Want it All !
There are joys in life that are simple and pure and each of see them, live them and know it for sure. First loves always big in anyone’s life. First Graduation, First bike ride, and so on. The first time you find something you love and keep doing it. These are all things important to our growing up.
For me they weren’t simple to find, I was too busy being a smart ass and wanting attention and getting the wrong kind. But everything always took longer for me, I was born with some serious medical problems, I had one hundred and ninety-nine seizures in my first nine months of life, till my older brother pulled my tray from my high chair and I went head first to the floor. Then they finally stopped, funny how that happens taint it and no Doctor can tell me why.
Reading became a love of mine at a very young age, I would and still read comic books even at 56 years old. The stories are from imaginations and so are the characters in the books. But it is always fun reading them, I graduated from comics to science and microscopes for a few years till I got bored and headed to the woods to check out turtles and frogs and such. I was always a loner but, I always found something to lose myself in and not get involved with trouble at least.
Today, my hobbies are gardening in the warm weather, computers, video games, writing and yes, still reading. Half of life’s pleasure is doing what you love and being with whom you love the other half is attaining what counts best to you. You can’t be anyone else but yourself, me I love reading, writing, science, nature and it makes me happy. I write and write when I can letting stories, poems, rants and raves fly onto my computer screen and on web sites. My poems are of loves, and my stories can range from mysteries, to Sci-Fi, even into love. But one thing I know no matter who may or may not read them, they are my way of getting things out I need to for therapy and to help myself deal with other things.
I was born actually with Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyperactive, so I started from a deficit in the first place between the seizures and this. I have come a long way though. I went on to become a sailor for 16 years, a father of two daughters, a writer and reader and more. I graduated Elementary School, got a Ged Diploma for High School and went on to become the only one of my mother’s children to ever graduate college, getting a degree in Hotel Management at age 40. No one else did what I have done and overcome so well, how do I do it I don’t know, but I did.
The point is, no matter who you are, where you are, your circumstances, or in your life, there is always an way to get somewhere and be someone, all you have to do is want it bad enough. Want it folks and sooner or later you will find a way to get it, or get where you want to go.
10 Silly Stupid Things/ Life!
10 Silly Stupid Things/ Life!
Funny little things people don’t realize or see, are what sometimes can bother you or me, or at least make us laugh or cry. They happen on television, or in real life situations, or by accident but they do happen don’t they?
1) Ever stop at a convience store to use the rest room? A man runs in yelling where is the men’s room and holds himself, a woman walks in where’s the ladies room and doesn’t even cross her legs, why is that?
2) A woman can shop till they drop no matter how tired she is as long as she likes the sale items, a man wants to go get what they want and get the hell out?
3) Women mature at younger ages than men, period! It’s a fact of nature and humanity, that’s why they notice boys, before boys notice girls, hormones and fermones.
4) Men think they rule the world, when in fact women do, even in America. Ask President Obama who his boss is, his wife! Ask any married man or one in a relationship who the boss is they say themselves, put the ring on and the woman controls!
5) Politics, ever notice during primaries, politicians will change and say whatever to get your vote, but once elected they can’t give what they promised? Happens every four years doesn’t it?
6) Everyday I see CNN and newscasts across America, the economy is getting better, gas is coming down and houses are getting worth more! Reality nothing changes we are losing jobs, house prices are going down and companies are going out of business. Just ask JC Penny, Macy’s Sears, and many more now! Why do they lie to us so?
7) Video games are good for your children and great for fun! Bullshit, they get violent, teach killing and make our children fat and lazy. Notice that at all?
8) The Catholic and other churches preach one thing and do another, they molest children, hide the ones who do it and preach not to. Why is that?
9) How come when a woman gains weight and goes out of shape a man is not allowed to call her overweight or fat? Yet when a man gets over weight we get your too big, rfat, you got a pot belly, etc?
10) How come women can buy thousand of dollars worth of shoes to match almost every outfit they buy, but when a husband wants a toy or a tool he has to beg for it?
These are just ten of the silly things one can find in an American town or marriage or life. Silly they may be, we all live with them and laugh and cry over them all and carry-on. Life shall not stop for us, no matter what goes on in the world, but, neither will silly, stupid things either!
Spring, Health, Weight
Spring, Health, Weight
Spring has sprung and families and couples will be going to Fairs, Flea Markets and The Big E in Mass. as well as Amusement Parks like Lake Compounds and Quassapog. Amusement parks with rides and games to play outdoors and picnic areas and more. What I say is enjoy if you can, including swimming when it starts, just be careful and watchful of your own and others and play safe.
Spring brings flowers and blooms,it brings gardening and picnicking and rides and fishing and camping and yes even hiking. For some it is just a good time to play ball in the park and have fun that way, or run your mile or two to stay in shape. Whatever you do, do it safely is all I say.
People run or play ball in the heat without having water to drink or salt if the sweat. They get symptoms of heat exhaustion, and stress and bam they go down with heart conditions, please be careful folks, spring, summer and fall is play time, but all in moderation is what we say and do.
Health is a factor in all we can do, if you can’t run, swim, play ball, hike or fish, try walking. Walking will keep you breathing well, your muscles toned and help you maintain that big problem of weight gain. Walk a little at a time and build it up over time. do a block one day and add a block each day if ya can. But do it slowly and you will get the benefits of it, do it too fast and you can hurt yourself. It’s all in how it is done.
Our diets change in the spring and summer too. We all tend to go for the hamburger and fries bit or hot dogs and chips and milkshakes and sodas. Try to stop or keep these down to once a week or better yet once a month. The more sugar you put in the better the chance of diabetes or weight gain, and the burgers and fries bit raises your carbohydrate levels adding to your weight problems. Go fruit, vegetables, juices and water as much as possible, stay hydrated, eat fresh and then have fun.
Way a person hurts their body is simply by not exercising at all, not eating right and the third thing is not moving at all. Sadly, people become over weight and lazy, playing computer games, console games, and staring at TVs all day and night. When I was growing up my parents said no tv till after supper and homework. We had no X-box. Playstation 3, Atari or computers, we were given a bat, a ball, a doll carriage, and outdoor things like bikes. As my Parents said eat in moderation, eat as healthy as you can, stay as active as you can and leave the guilty pleasures for the moments when all work is done.
