Attention Deficiet Disorder and Hyper-Activity

Among the many things I have heard lately on television and in news reports, are the new reports of bullies beating on other children in schools and in life in general. By no way do I condone nor accept such behavior out of any child and if you are bullied you should indeed walk away and call for help. The question though is why do these children bully others, what causes them to do so?

The answer lies within the bully not the child being bullied. The bully is the one with the emotional problems, the non-acceptance problems, the I don’t belong problems. The bully is actually attacking those they feel they can dominate and scare and strike fear into, only to make themselves feel more powerful, and superior in every way, because they are ignored at home or else where in their own lives and this is a cry out for attention. Yes the bullied child gets hurt too and damaged, but it is actually the bullying child who is damaged worse. It all starts at home in their own families and grows from there.

Beyond bullying, and bullied children lies a hidden element and problem and many of those are today misdiagnosed and led the wrong way. The children who are born with Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyper-Activity. These children are often labeled as bullies, or the bullied, or as emotionally unstable or mentally damaged when they are not. They see and hear things at a different speed then normal society, they react quicker at times and they seem anti-social when they really aren’t. They may attack a sibling, they may argue endlessly on a subject or even a simple rule.  Some can not sit still, they need to constantly move, while others may sit still and not respond at all. Both ends of the equation are apparent with children born with ADDHA. I know because I am one of them who survived it without pills. I was one of the few who came thru my ADDHA years without Ritalin or any other drug being in my body or brain, because I was misdiagnosed as a child of the 1960s as an emotionally unstable child. They were wrong and I know it as do the Doctors I see today for other reasons. So Parents be very careful how you have your child diagnosed and by whom and please get the right Doctors to see them.

A diagnoses of ADDHA is not the end of the world for any child or person and it can be overcome by counseling, therapy and if needed as a last resort medication. The sad part is too many today are medicated and tossed aside and made into bigger problems then they really are.  Just because a child acts out in rage, or anger or in silly ways or violence does not make them ADDHA children, nor does it make them emotionally unstable children. Sometime a child in the shape of having ADDHA can actually go in the opposite direction and be  a depressed personality. So be very careful and get many opinions before you label any child.

Like depression, ADDHA can be and usually is transferred or handed down through generations although many Doctors may tell you no, I am telling you yes because it happened with me, and my children. It is indeed a problem well-known and not diagnosed properly all the time. Depression in a child of ADDHA can lead to thoughts of violence, happiness, belonging such as attaching themselves to another for safety reasons also. It is all a matter of the stages of the disease and the position of the child and situation they are in. Many times while you are still trying to figure out a child with ADDHA they are so many steps ahead of you it is crazy and of course they are on to something else. They work at faster rates mentally then normal children, the chances they will out grow it is probably higher than expected in most of them and they adjust to handle it on their own, The few who do not, do end up medicated and cared for by families and Doctors. It is not a death sentence to be ADDHA, it is  a condition that can be handled, and grown out of and few people know that. So, just because someone is different then you and they work at a faster or slower basis mentally or emotionally do not judge them crazy, emotionally unstable or damaged, look twice and see what it really is.

Trials, Politics, Commentators and more!

Today the jury continues it’s deliberations in the Conrad Murray Trial. Will they find Murray guilty or innocent and if they do find him innocent, doesn’t that say Michael Jackson Killed himself, by self ingesting or injecting? I hope the jury stops and thinks about that before they say Murray is innocent. Or thinks about the fact Michael Jackson paid this so called Doctor with a contract of $150,000.oo dollars a month to care for him and keep him healthy and less then 90 days later he was dead.

Next subject, it is now one year from the next Presidential Election. I see numerous Republicans running around speaking from the poduims, but not one telling the truth. Nor do I see one of them calling for Congress to act now to help the American people. They are doing nothing except extending Unemployment Benefits and skating by and the American public is letting them, why? The economy is tanked out, jobs don’t exist, companies are going over seas, no manufacturing exists here anymore, look at what you buy folks, it’s all made in China, Japan and Korea or some other country. What happen to Buy American, Be American!.

Can we as a country truely elect a Hermain Cain, or a Mitt Romeny, or any of these Replublicans, if they can’t get congress to move or act not? How can you vote for a party or canidate who can’t get their own in Congress to help the American People before they are elected never mind after. Now is when help is needed not a year or two in the future, this is not a movies America it is reality and we are going down the tubes here.  Wake up please!!!. Yes I know saying the Republicans are not the answer sounds foolish or sounds silly with the alternative being keeping OBama. Obama at least is doing some things right now, pulling us out of Afgainistan, Iraq and Iran and bringing the troops home for one. Second that will free funding to help the homeless, jobless and hungry here if the money is reapplied in the right places. We do need to stop helping others, when we can’t help ourselves.

That said, what can be done to help America turn itself around? 1) Change the trade agreements and laws-charge more for imports less for exports, lower the tariffs for american goods going out and charge more for those coming in. 2) Change the tax laws on American companies, give them more tax breaks to stay here. 3) Unions need to stop overly attacking these same companies and back off, Americans got way too greedy asking too much in benefits and pay. 4) Pay for innovations and inventions more, and encourage companies to form by incentives, and financial help. 5) Retrain blue collar workers currently unemployed for white collar jobs, and give extended education opportunities to them. 6) Keep our American children in schools and working towards degrees in fields of endeavers that encourage building of manufacturing busnesses and technical fields. All of these can be accomplished through cooperation between the political parties and plain and simple bi-partisianship.

I like millions of American’s watch CNN daily for news on the markets, the world and here in America. I hear their reports of economic failures, disasters around the world and then I see reports of companies American created moving from one country like China to Japan. Why? Why can’t HP bring the plants and company here to America where they started and make them all here? Because no one is giving them the incentive or motivation to do so, by lowering their taxes and giving them any breaks. So again Americans doing get the jobs.

Last and not leastly today, I want to address a common item that I have noticed in CNN’s newscasts,in Fox Newscasts and in general on television period. Now I am not prejudice, nor do I discriminate in anyway and i grew up in a mixed neighborhood as a child and live in a mixed area as an adult. Race, color, naturality, means nothing to me and I believe in treating all equal. Yet I am seeing a constant bias and even to some extent a bit of favoritism toward  African Americans in the way news is reported and who reports it. I tire of Roland Martrin for CNN, speaking all the time on how blacks or African Americans are not treated fairly in one case or another.  By doing this I wonder if Roland Martin realizes that he is drawing attention, bad attention to his own race, culture and people. You don’t need to overemphisize African Americans, I understand the need for fairness and equality in all aspects and respect that and so do most americans. And one more thing that bothers me a bit, Afican Americans demand we call them African Americans, or blacks, yet they can run around calling the caucasion race white or honkys. Why is that? If you are gonna talk races ot colors, please refer to us caucasions as caucasions not whites ot honkys, please!.

Final item for today, as America goes forward we must at last realize we can not continue to babysit the world, these countries we help are not helping us in return and we waste valuable time, effort and resources on rebuilding, policing and fighting their wars for them. It’s time America brings home it’s resources, people and equipment, and uses it at home to help our own people not some people who would like to see us wiped off the face of the planet.

Heart To Heart a Poem by William M. McCurrach

Heart to Heart
By: William

Did you ever take a walk in the woods,

Go to place just to have fun,

Wander around and just be you,

And suddenly you’re not alone.

A brief smile you see, or a look,

And you start to say something, yes just to chat,

And all of a sudden, one heart is touching another,

You feel you have found, a sister or a brother!

It’s their gentle ways, or their polite manner,

Maybe the way they laugh, or cry,

But suddenly you are heart to heart with someone,

It not a thing that happens, nor do I know how it happens or
is done.

Your heart begins to open, and it blooms,

You feel special, wanted, needed,

And you know you have touched,

Heart to Heart, for you feel it,

Yes deep inside, in that special part.

Suddenly you know,

This is the one person,

You Never want to let go!.

That’s what you call, Heart To Heart,

And what we all seek to be a part.

Cycles in Families

Sunday Morning has arrived and it’s grab a coffee to survive. Feed the cat and find the paper, it’s Sunday and the NFL shall be around and on. Of course I have to do other chores prior to football and if I don’t like the games carried in my area, well I turn it all off anyway. Football was a  religion to me every Sunday, I would gather round as a kid with my step-dad and we would have the fruit and snacks and chips. The games would start and we would watch them all afternoon and into the evening. Football was indeed king for dad and I.

Now a days it is a little different, Dad is long gone, passed away at close to the age I am now in 1990. Mom followed him a year and a day afterwards, but not before throwing herself over his body and coffin at his wake and screaming Why didn’t you take me with you!  I guess when you spend 40 some odd years together, raise 5 kids, and go through divorce yet still live together, well, you get the idea.

Today I am 55, been married twice myself, had two children by my first wife and none by my second and my life goes on quietly each day. Yet I stop and look back on my childhood and my parents life together and wonder how the hell they did what they did. They were both born to families in the year of 1932. Back then money was tight and so was making ends meet. Luckily for us they learned from their parents how to survive, so we all did survive. Amazingly, today those of us who were born to my mother and her two husbands are still here except for one. Yet none of the four remaining, are actually normal and uneffected by our childhood days. We lived a life as children that few people survived, filled with violence, beatings, verbal and physical abuse. We survived it all as individuals really not as siblings hanging on all together. Each of us dealt with it differently and I am sure each of us if thrown in one room anywhere, would give you a different version of how we did it.

Today, a child is yelled at, beaten, abused in any way, physically or emotionally or even mentally, they can reach out and get authorities to help them. The late 1950s, 1960s, that wasn’t so and parents still virtually owned their children. The things we survived especially the three eldest is unbelievable. Beatings upon beating over years, for things we never did, or would do, at least most of us. Mental torture such as being told I brought you into this world and I will take you out, or the best line, I don’t care about you, little son of a bitch, I will shoot you and bury you in the backyard and never look back!. Nice lines from a parent to their children right?

Things we survived were crazy, being thrown down three flights of stairs, beatings with two by fours, pipes, and fireplace pokers for coming home late as a young teen. Feet burned on a stove top for stealing cookies as a young boy, and then I was called emotionally disturbed and put away for two years. I was crazy right, wrong!

The point being here that across America the land of the free, the land of the brave, the land of advancement and technical breakthroughs and more, people still get raising their children wrong. They still overstep lines and rules and basics they should never do. Sadly it is indeed passed from one generation to the next in families, for it is all these parents and adults during that time knew. As my step-dad once said, I survived it, I was taught that way and you will too. I remember the old lines of how he got to school, walking miles in the snow with holes in his shoes and freezing hands each day. And how we had no right to complain, we had clothes and shoes and buses and more. I laugh today at the mere thought of the stories my parents told of their sufferings as kids, then I stop and think about my grandparents on both sides and realize, they got it handed to them also.

The cycles of violence, physical, mental abuse, misjudging our children goes on each day in America and across the world in numerous lands and countries. What all the world must now stop and look at is not how to continue it without stopping and doing what our foreparents did to us, but how to end the endless cycles, by not doing it to our own children. The cycles have to end, too many valuable, precious children and human beings get destroyed and end up turning on society and killing, maiming or destroying. When will we as a world, and as each individual country and person learn, violence begets violence, anger begets anger and destruction brings destruction? We need to find peaceful solutions to raise our children, raise our voices, and unite to protect the children of the world, they are its future not us who are elder and old already. The hope is in the children not us. Protect them, teach them right from wrong, don’t beat them or harass or mentally torture them, let them grow and  know that mankind has a better side.

America’s fate?

American’s believe their fate to be one of greatness and joy.We all want the best for our country, our land, our children and our future. To get there we make sacrifices, we debate, we argue and we love. We fight and win and fight and lose, we yell, scream, shout and sometimes even knock ourselves out. But in the end, America still remains one of the best nations if not the best nation in the world. Yes we lost out AAA+ credit rating, yes our economy has now fallen to number ten in the world. Yet we still remain the number one country others look up to for help, stability, promise and military might. Is America still looked at in this way, well no one would say so anymore except us americans.

America it seems is a country that is losing status and standing as well as economic and monetary position. No matter what though other countries still come to us for help, they still ask us to lead, they still expect us to help them. Why is that I ask, why?

Before America, there were others whose rise to the top of civilizations, were just as impressive for their days and ages. The early Aztecs. The Incas, The Romans, and more. Yet each one of them fell from the pinacle of humanity and civilizations to their demise. America I believe is at that point now where we have had our run as the forerunner civilization for decades, and we are slowly crumpling.

Across America you can see signs of fractures in our society and structure. Our financial world is in a mess, our economic world is in a mess, and our job markets as well as education systems crumble. What is happening to America ? Can we turn it around and how is the next question!

To turn around the downfall and demise of such a large civilization and country, we need to get back to basics. Each day Americans give birth to new children and beginnings. That is where our hopes, ambitions are and should be,, but on the other hand we must take the financial burdens, todays adults are dropping on their children and grandchildren away. There has got to be a way to relieve them of the financial debts and to allow them to advance what we hand them. Lets hope and pray we find that soon.

As I have said before in my blogs and to others, Americans are far way too generous with our helping of other countries. We have constantly over the two hundred plus years as nation and country, helped too many and received very little in return. We owed France for their help in our Revolutionary War, for she helped America by her military and financial support. Can you name any other nation or country though who has reached out to America and given us either military or financial assistance like we hand to so many others?   I doubt even the historians can find any in their research and books.

America is now at a point in time and place in its own history, where we need to pull back some. We have given, given, and given, helped, helped and helped and policed, policed, and policed the world. We have rebuilt other countries, medically assisted them, supported them militarily and financially and medically. We have done so much, with so little for so long, we believe ourselves capable of anything. Sadly we are not capable of anything, nor can we intimidate, or control anyone, we can only negotiate and pressure. Sadly, as time goes by we are learning, that sometimes in history thee comes a time when even the leaders, the top civilizations, must pull back and retreat to survive. I believe America is now at that point in time and history in the world. I am not saying we are totally done or defeated as a nation or civilization, I am saying that if not careful, like the Aztecs, Incas,Indians,  Romans and Egyptians we shall slide off into the horizons of history and disappear, if we continue to spread ourselves so far and wide.

We in America today have our own internal struggles and problems to deal with now. We have a falling economy, a job market that barely exists, millions unemployed, and people living on the streets in boxes, and holding signs up, Will Work for Food!. Each day these visions and sights are shown on television, seen in newspapers and broadcast across air waves of the world. Is this the vision, the view, we want the world to have of our fine country we love so much? I doubt it, yet we struggle to fix it all, yet over extend ourselves to help others.  There becomes a time when it is indeed necessary to pull back from helping the world and help our own and ourselves. No we are not greedy or selfish if we do, you do what you have to do to survive, do you not? Well Survival is now our next step as a country and civilization.

America, had it’s best years after each War . We fought for Independence and wham we were prosperous. We fought a Civil War and became prosperous again. We made our own weapons and that kept our economy and job markets cruising along. We fought two World Wars and produced the weapons of mass destruction that saved the world and ended up producing more products than the world knew what to do with. Yet today we fight  people’s wars and police other people’s nations, and do nothing for our own. Sadly one day, America will wake up and realize, we have over extended ourselves to a point where we leave the door open on the backside for others to take us down and out. Be careful America and Americans our over extending and helping others is nice for them, but I warn you, like Japan, Germany and others we rebuilt after stopping them, people will undercut, and over take our economy and not care what happens to us period. Yes the World is indeed a cruel, harsh place!.

Dream

Dreams so they say, are for the fools and they let them slip away!. Old song, from Seals and Crofts way back in the 1970s there. But isn’t it so true!.

As children we all have our dreams, I know some people who dreamed of being race car drivers, doctors, lawyers, scientist, and of course for boys the sports hero. Then girls dream of being housewives? I doubt that too, they share the same dreams  as their opposite sex counterparts. And they dream of more, they dream of having kids too. The average American dreams of money, riches, and peace, few dream of violence and hate and wars. The dreams of the world are the same for all nations children, to live healthy, to prosper and to be able to get along and share the planet. Sadly half the time that is not easy enough to do, because deep prejudice and discrimination is built into nations and people over decades and sometimes hundreds and even thousand of years. There is no avoiding what exists already in the world, but we can dream of a time when mankind will finally get together and forgive, forget and start over can’t we?.

Like I said dreams are vital also to survival of the human race. Some dream of leading, some of following. Some dream of building, others of destroying, but we all do dream. Equality for all is the biggest dream, but as long as mankind is hindered by their fears, prejudice and discriminations, those dreams will never be fully fulfilled will they? We settle for what we can reach and call it happiness, when we know in out dreams there is more. That is why we dream, that is how we dream.

Most children dream of being famous, being rich, being Doctors, Lawyers, or some other outstanding individual. Personally, I never dreamed of being more than I am or could really be, I somehow figured out, we can’t all have it all, but we can do what we can with what we have.

My Dreams were kept simply and fulfilled. I grew older, got educated, worked for a living , busting my ass and back, and joined the military. I found a woman to marry, and had two daughters who I love completely and will love till I die no matter what. I wanted a decent home, decent furniture and them to be safe, healthy and well-kept. I wanted a home with a yard, a white picket fence, a swing set for them to play on, a dog and time to raise them so they could grow and be whatever they wanted to be. Of course not everything works out as you want it and things go astray.

For my children, I wanted their dreams to come through and to see them smile, be happy and content and have children of their own to raise and love, It happened and I am proud of that fact each day I walk the earth.  Dreams should never be tossed aside or forgotten, they should be held on and strived for at all costs.

I once had a dream also. I dreamed that the future will bring ways to communicate like never before. People will not pay attention anymore to skin color, ethics, religion, nor will they discriminate or pound upon each other anymore. I had a dream of mankind living together in peace, as I sailed the seven seas and  protected my country and the world. Dreams though take time to come true and happen, and of course as we all know mine never completely did come true.

Dreams do get shattered and killed, and dreams sometimes even though small, or large, never make it to fruition. Mine never ended just got sidetracked and slowed and slowly forgotten, after I got injured at sea. A fall down a metal ladder aboard a Naval Ship and all is gone for dreaming for me. I now live in pain and stress, and my spinal injuries hurt and ache me daily. Yet, I say this to all where ever you are, what ever country, your from, whether man or woman, Caucasian, african american, or asian, or anything else, Dream. Dream big, Dream happy, Dream of advancement and peace!. Dreams are what make the world better for all!. Dream for all of us and make them come true!.

America should Pull Back/Election Year

To balance the bad in the world there must be good somewhere!. We have volunteer institutions, volunteers, and we have charity drives. We have medical facilities that keep the elderly and the young alive. It is all a part of American‘s giving spirit and generosity. Is there the same out there towards us, NO!

We joined World War 1 to help save the world from the oppressive society of the Germans at the time and then did it again in World War 2, not only fight Germany but Italy and Japan also.  Then when we finally did defeat them in both cases, we extended our hand and rebuilt them all. Why? So today, we can call them friends right and compromise with them as well as deal with their bold ideas and make the world work. Well, I think somewhere along the time line we have to stop helping the world and help ourselves.

We need to learn also that policing another nation, and fighting their internal wars is none of our business either. We did this in two wars, that Americans never get credit for fighting and people are ashamed of admitting we were in. Korea and Vietnam both became stupid senseless battles where Americans lost their lives, for no reason other than to show we wanted to help and police them. Sadly millions of Americans are gone because Uncle Sam believes we were the mightiest nation and needed to step in. When will America learn?

Today America is still spread out over the world, with troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, and watching Iran. We sail the seven seas, we fly over nations and record all military fighting and we still try to walk gently and carry a big stick!, Why?

No one came in to help America when we had a Civil War killing off thousands of fine Americans ourselves for an internal struggle.  And no folks, it wasn’t a Civil War originally being fought over Slavery at all, read up on it clearly, it became that after Lincoln Declared The Slaves Free. So no one helped Americans then did they? No one comes to our rescue in a financial crisis, or bails out our economy except us. No Germans, French, Italians, Greeks or anyone else goes oh look America is hurting why don’t we lend them a hand and give them billions and assistance. Yet we do it for everyone else, Why?

A part of being American is a generous spirit of caring and giving and all Americans know it as does the rest of the world when they look at us. Are Americans correct to be this way or are we just blinded by our own pride, and foolish enough to think others will care?  You won’t see Great Britain doing all we do, Germany or Italy or Russia nor any of the countries we rebuilt or helped limp back to health after they created World Wars and Police Actions and more within and beyond their own borders. Why do we?

Solving America’s current crisis will take a Politician with courage, and guts, and balls. We need a Politician who can look at the rest of the world and tell them, we can’t live by the tariff and trade laws now set, we need them changed. We need to pull out of War Zones where there is no firm business of ours to be in and bring our troops and supplies home. Use all those billions of dollars we spend policing, and fighting others wars on rebuilding America’s Economy, America’s job market, America’ Health Programs and taking care of our own population and people. Lets end homelessness and hunger, lets teach our children in schools to be the best they can be, lets prepare them for the hard cruelty and honesty of the world and teach them to work and fight for what they believe in a smarter way. American’s need to stop babysitting and supporting the world and start to take care of our own.

Ok that said and out-of-the-way, Conrad Murray‘s Trial for the Death of Michael Jackson will be doing closing arguments today. Now I have heard some say he will not be convicted at all, that should be bullshit also. What kind of closing argument can a defense of this man have? Are they gonna deny he gave him drugs, are they going to deny he didn’t pay attention when he should have, are they gonna deny he took a contract for $150,000.oo dollars per month to administer, and provide drugs to a man, already addicted to drugs in someway? I doubt it. Character witnesses aside, no matter how good you portray Conrad Murray as a Doctor and person prior to his treating and taking on Jackson as his sole patient, it does not excuse him for breaking medical standards, ethics, and more by providing what he did to Jackson, that’s number 1. Number 2, why would any responsible, respectful Doctor take on such a contract, if not just for money?. Time will tell as the Trial rushes to a close with Closing Arguments today. I do know that if Murray gets off free, the Jackson family will sue for wrongful death anyway and he shall never be a Doctor again. What Medical Licensing Board is going to allow this man to practice again, after all this is public and would you let him care for you? So can you tell which way I feel about this one!.

My final thought for the day, November 3rd, 2011. In November of 2008, Americans voted for President Obama to be President. While I agree he was the best choice between himself and Mr. McCain, I don’t think he was the best choice overall. I think the Democrats fell to internal pressures by African Americans and others to choose Obama over Mrs. Clinton. And although that is the way politics is played, I think many now know the truth is, it should have been the other way around. We are all welcome to our opinions and free speech and this is America, I voted Obama only because Mrs. Clinton was not given the nomination. Facts are facts is all I can say. I say this today as we now begin a new Presidential Election cycle to last the next twelve months: Americans before you choose a President by sex, color, race, or anything else, choose one who can lead, one who has ideas to improve the country, the economy and who will always be respected. Don’t let any feelings of prejudice, discrimination or anything else get in your way. Be aware and listen closely to all of them before you choose this time.

The End of Conrad Murray’s Trial

Yesterday officially the defense rested its case and so the trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor closes. Each step along the way of this trial there have been highlighted events, of both, Michael’s life and the treatment he received by Dr. Murray or the lack of treatment, depending on what you believe. So, I shall give you my view of this Death of The King of Pop Trial.

Michael Jackson began his fame  as a African American boy, singing with his brothers. Back then Michael sang like a bird, laughed hard and gave performances to this day still talked about. His and his brothers albums and records thrilled many young aged americans and the world.  Their music and songs lit up Motown and the music business, like a rocket blasting off does a launch pad. Then time flew by and Michael grew older and more estranged from the public and his family.  His skin tone changed, his appearance was altered by surgery and make up and tattoos.   Next we see a grown up Michael, as a teen and young adult,  lighter skin tones and longer straight hair, doing Beat IT and other songs he make classic in American Music.

Then suddenly he disappears once more from the public scene and returns with a whiter face and skin, tattooed eyebrows and liner around his eyes, his nose changed and costumed each time in public like he is living in WonderLand. We find him charged with child molestation and a nervous wreck facing a trial by his peers. No such luck folks, although acquitted finding his peers wasn’t easy and it was never done.

He married, Lisa Marie a childhood friend of his and Elvis‘s daughter cementing his claim as the King of Pop, even though the marriage does not last. He then marries Dr. Klien’s assistant Debbie Rowe and has her give him children. So far he is doing fine, right?

But his addictions started way back in the Pepsi fire in his hair and the fixes the Doctors gave him then. Demeral addiction builds slowly as does addictions to pain pills the longer you take them the longer it takes to get off of them. By the time we see Micheal Jackson in 2009 he has been charged with crimes and acquitted, he has been surgically altered to look completely different from who he was born as, and his actions are indeed slowed by drugs and age.

Now the courts must give a case to the jury. The jury must decide did Conrad Murray as a Doctor, commit involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson, through medical malpractice? I say the blame goes two ways for Michael’s death and demise. Both halves are guilty in many ways. Michael shopped for a doctor to get him what he wanted and he paid him by contract $150,000.00 a month to supply him with what he wanted and to administrate it nightly and daily to him safely, so he could sleep and feel good when he awoke. No one pays a Doctor that kind of money and then makes him administrate it all in their bedroom, unless what he is doing is wrong and just to feed his own addictions. No one has this kind of contract with their Doctor and no Doctor who lives and works by the medical and legal ethics and standards of a Doctor takes on such a job. So both are guilty of something in their own right, Michael and Conrad Murray.

As the Jackson’s await like the rest of us, the verdict the jury shall give out within weeks, they still refuse to acknowledge any blame Michael had in his own death. The Jackson’s are indeed a loyal, loving caring family and will deny Michael did anything wrong till they all die. But the bottom line is indeed, simple, Michael paid a Doctor to administrate the drugs and control him. So Michael was wrong to even be requesting such a thing, never mind paying for it.

But, on the other hand a Doctor who should have known better, who broke all standards of care and ethics by administrating this at Michael’s request is wrong too. You don’t just give controlled drugs to addicts or patients, and walk away, nor do you ever administer the drugs he did, in a home environment. So in the end I believe Conrad Murray should at least, lose his medical licenses and spend at least sometime in prison or jail for the Death of MJ.

Electronic words, vs Written and more!

November has arrived and the snow from October still coats the ground. We are now a few simple weeks from Thanksgiving again, and the Holidays are right around the corner. The stores are putting on lay away sales, the decorations are starting to come out and up. Amazingly each year the holidays start earlier why is that?

November is going to bring the end to the Conrad Murray Trial. If Doctor Murray is convicted of this crime he shall be a Doctor no more. As I see it, any Doctor who supplied a person who was an addict with drugs on a constant basis, in their home and then ends up with the person dead, deserves not to be a Doctor. Strip the Medical Licences and give him some time in jail, it’s the least one can do to a Doctor this dumb, just for being dumb. Why would any Doctor, take payments of $150,000.oo a month to provide, administrate drugs to an addict anyway? Is Doctor Murray that gullible that he was bamboozled by Jackson into doing this, or is he indeed crazy or greedy or both? Which ever it may be, he shall more than likely be found guilty.

The cold and chill has hit the air and causes many of us to stare, at the white stuff on the ground, at a low and distant kind of sound. At the lights coming out for the season ahead and the signs are economy is going dead. The stores are ordering less you see, power loses are piling up all around and the politics of the day, should be turning it around, but all it does , is like Washington and Congress get bogged on down. Sadly the America Economy is not getting better, it is getting worse.

Politics it seems never changes in America, and it definitely does not have a bright future for us all.  As we barrel ahead in time, we next face the elections of 2011, and the possibility of changing it all. When you go into the polls this year I suggest, you start removing many from office who do nothing for anyone. Lets boot out those who know nothing about compromise and put in their opponents.  As one person put it, if we start making the politicans do what all Americans do, work for a living we may get a lot further. People in the Senate and House of Representatives over two terms should be booted out for not helping America or Americans. They are too busy voting their own benefits and pay raises through and having fun at the taxpayers  costs. We need changes now.

Next, lets talk about this, No Such Thing As Global Warming?  Ladies and Gents take my advice it does indeed exists, the signs of it are world-wide. tsunamis, earthquakes, weather system changes, planet axis shifting and more. I am not going to put the whole thing on mankind’s back, but I am gonna say our polluting the atmosphere and pulling the needed minerals and materials out of the earth does not help it survive. Al Gore was not wrong, nor was he overstating it in any way. Global Warming does exists and will continue to if not addressed by mankind.

Closing Argument for today! It is basically one good question for the techno-people and the old-fashioned publishing industry. Will the invention of electronic devices, like tablets, computers, e-readers and the invention of e-books, put the publishing world in trouble and maybe out of business?  If you can hold a tablet or an e-reader and read all you want from the internet, and  that includes news, articles, magazines and books, then what will happen to the writing industry over time? Are we coming to the end of the written word as a vehicle of expression, because it is all becoming electronic?

Religion and Me!

When I was a young boy, I was forced to go to church as a requirement by my mother for many years. Mom was a Roman Catholic, but my step-father was a Albanian who was not. Over the early years I would hear them argue religion and not really pay attention, because we were forced to do as told.

I would attend Sunday School and Church as told till I hit 12 years old and had already made my confirmation and communion too. I even have pics of me dressed in the red and white robes.

Then at 12 years old my step-father told my mother ok they did as you wanted long enough, let them make their own choices. So we did and all five of her kids choose no religion and no church. Of course my mother stopped attending at the same time. This was in the 1960s, and the church had so many problems it became a pain to society and as far as I can see still is today. Charges of molestation of children by Priests are everywhere, robberies of church coffers, and more. Sadly, no one can change what has happened. But the Church no matter what religion, does teach a lesson all should learn, to pray and worship a god, one does not need a church, the good book says it all, He Hears and Sees it all. So we all learned to pray at home on our own in our own ways. That was our decision as 12 year olds, to each their own I guess!.  The churches grow and multiply daily building new and pushing harder their points of view on many subjects and each Sunday morning you can see many come and go from a church anywhere. They clean up get dressed, and then trundle off to a church to listen to sermons and sing hymns and pray. Each Sunday places a little more money into the coffers, collection plates and baskets of the churches. Then the Churches use this money to pay their bills, feed their people and build more and more. Sadly, my belief in God is different indeed, I believe he is everywhere, period. So, when I see die-hard, religious people going to church each day to confess their sins, or to pray or do work for the church as volunteers, I just shake my head and walk away. I don’t hate the church, or religion, I just disagree with all it does to its own parishioners. In the end, God Bless us all is all I can say.
