Wake Up America: The Danger of Passivity in Politics


Hello, Westborough, Massachuetts and the world. I hope all are doing well, having fun and getting by just fine, these days. Life is what you make it they say, and each day does take a bit of an effort to get out there and interact. Some look at me, as being an old man, and I don’t consider myself that way really, even though I joke about it all. Age is really just a number and you can’t avoid, aging folks, but your attitude you can control. Laugh, have fun, and remember whatever you put your mind to, you can get done, if you just stick to it.

Next, It is early here I awoke at 5:30 am again which is these days becoming a regular ritual on my part. I have my coffee and read the news and e-mails I may get, even comments on my blog if I can some. I just like to see what people think these days. I mean, look at the world and how fast it has changed for all Americans since Joe Biden is out of office. I pray there will be enough of America left by 2028 for our children and grandchildren to enjoy.

Changes are rapid and many are angry type and nasty type too. Our own system of democracy and our republic are at stake here. Yet American are passive toward it all and letting it happen before our very eyes. If you don’t like what is happening Americans, I think you need to wakeup, ad voice the facts, and fight back. If you don’t, there won’t be a America anymore, for the passive get over taken quickly and they get forced into auticratic and communistic rule. everything that iis being done by today’s American President, was done before in the world, and each time it took the world to wars. HItler did it the same way, and well we all know history I would hope, and that wa sthe biggest turmoil and war ever, World War 2. Will it happen again, it is beggining to look like it may, right here in America. The danger is real follks, and until we stop it all, it will continue.

No Man, woman or child should be above the law, No President should have unlimited powers in America. The Forefathers, put in the System of Governement we have fora reason, it’s called checks and balances. We nee dto let those Checks and Balances work once more and stop the maddness now in Office. Before it is too late folks or America goes down. It has started it’s decline now and if it continues, we shall all be speaking Russian soon.

Let me be clear here, I do not agree with, condone the policies put forth under the CUrrent President or his Adminstration. Nor, do I approve of his choices for key positions in our Governement. They stink each and everyone of them. I wnat them change, I don’t want RFK Jr. Running our Health, I don’t want Kristi Noem either, I hate Pete Hegseth and what he is doing to our Department of Defense, now they want to call it the War Department, doesn’t that sound to you like osmeone is looking for a war to fight these days? The education Department is disappearing piece by piece, why? Medicare and Medicaid is constantly under attack, Social Security is too now. Why? What is left for future generations when they now have to work to at least 69 to retire and they won’t even have Social Security left for them? What happened to the gOvernement for the people and by the people? What happened to take care of our own? The elderly, are running out of coverages and protections and no one cares anymore! Sadly, even the Veteran’s Administration is under attack these days, and we the Veteran’s who kept our country free for the future are losing benefits and resourses why? Don’t we deserve our benenfits anymore? or is it alright for a bone spur complaining individual who never served one day to steal it from us all? What is it Americans, why are you allowing all of this to happen?

Since when does an American President step up on a podium at Nato and tell the world their countries suck? Who is he to represent usin this way. He is being laughed at on the world stage and we are declining in stature and pride and position, because we allow him to do it. Wake up, stop him now! I remind all many empires before teh American Empire have died out and destroyed themselves, by following courrupt leaders, evil leaders or greedy leaders. Our current leader orpresident is all three of the above. The Aztecs, The Incas, The Japanesse, The Germans, the Romans and so many more lost their empires following one mad man. Let’s not do it America, lets fight back. If you love democracy, you love our Republic, our wya of life, Freedom of Speech, and the right to your own religion, then I say fight back now, Preserve and Protect it I say. I remind all, of what one of the Founding Fathers said” Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neith liberty or safety” Ben Franklin’s 1755 warning against trading freedom, for comfort still sparks debates about rights, security and governement over reach today. I think Americans need to take heed to it and all of our ForeFathers. If we lose our guts, our fight anf our rights, we lose all we are. If we lose Freedom of Speech, our choice to Politics and religion, our right to earn a good living or or right to education, we lose America. and that my fellow Americans is what the current Administration and current President is tearing down. It must stop now.

We need a new Theodore Roosevelt folks, He sai dit best when trying to save America, Speak Softly, qnd carry a big stick: you wil go far. His words reflected a belief in calm diplomancy, but with strength in reserve. The phrase defined U.S. foreign policy and projected America’s rising global power in the early 1900’s. We need it again and to stand by it.

Navigating Dating as a Senior: A Widower’s Perspective


Ok, Whats new is alwaysa question for me. Since I am a widower and single and 69, I try to find different things to do. Walking is always big for me, as is bowling at least twicea week when I can. I lik eplaying billards once a week where I live. Other than that I am usually hunting an dlooking for things to do.

Some say go to the Senior Center and hang out and you will meet people, thats true. And I don’t knock the Senior Center at all, but, I do feel like I don’t really belong when there. Maybe I am just not there yet, so I feel out of place. Nothing against the Center itself believe me.

I do like to bowl which keeps me active at least. I do read some and try to stay up to date on the news too and tv. I like movies but haven’t been to one in ages, cause it is not fun alone.

Drinking and Clubs and Taverns, are not my thing really. I will go to one, once in a while here in Westborough, just to get out, havea meal and a drink and to look around. Usuaually, most in the Bars, Tavern around wetsborough are people in their 30’s to 50’s who are dating or already have a partner they are dating. So fora single widower my age of 69, it gets to feel like I am a fifth wheel so to say.

As to the dating scene as I see it today here in Westborough, I know many have fears, especially the ladies. I respect their fears and I am never aggressive nor do I chase them. I don’t need a place tos tay, I own, I don’t need someone’s money ladies, I am fine on my own. I do not abuse women either never have and never will wasn’t raised that wya and I do not have a agressive or anger problem. I do tend to stay away from trouble and I do get the fact that not everyone is your cup of tea or mine so to speak. I try to be honest, I try to be fair, and I always try to be respectful and kind. It’s just my nature I think.

So when I do go Bowling, or to a mall or something, even a tavern or bar, I am me. I don’t like talking politics in public it causes wars and fights these days.Sports I love and it’s NFL time once more, with The NBA is coming back soon enough. I am a Celtics fan and hope their rebuild wil be great an dthey have a great season. some ask me about MLB, while I am a Red sox fan, I can’t sit through a game on tv, it puts me to sleep too long. Football I watch, Basketball I watch. But hey, I like sports.

So Anyway life goes on. As a single widower, I find it slow and hard to find someone to match with or date. Age does play a factor for sure, as well as what to do each day when retired. So, I go day to day, and hope, is all. The hardest part of being a widower my age of 69, is the fact of being alone. I have to say I had a total of 40 years of marriage in my life of 69 years. One was 12 years, the second 28 years. So I think I did fine, and I was very lucky. When I look around and see the single , divorced or widowed women, I also see fears and anger in many. Some believe a man wants them just for one thing or another. Let me say this, I don’t wnat someone’s home, or money, or just for their body. I do like companionship, I do love women for their sense of humor, intelligence and to be with. But, dating at 69, is like being interviewed for a job, or something. A million questions, a million different views, and then even if you get through them, you still have to find attraction and chemistry. It’s liek having a job just to get a date, the search, the asking, the dating, the interview and the response can be fun, and rejection can be big. so, what does one do, well, I know what I do, I just go day to day, and hope is all. being positive helps, folks.

Dating for us Seniors is like a trek down a mystery highway, for you know not what the next corner or turn will be. So, one day at a time is all one can do. I will say this, I never dod learn to flirt properly, some are good at it, me I am clumsy and don’t get it. But, I must of done something right, for two marriages totaled 40 years for me. LOL

The Consequences of Power: Is Trump Above the Law?


Well, another day begins for me, I awoke at 5:30 am again. What wakes me is usually back pain, and it is never easy to overcome, yet, I get up and go anyway and the pain, goes with me. When, youra disabled veteran, you learn to live with pain daily, for there is not much they will do for six herniated discs. If they operate, they could, paralyze ya, so they don’t go there. So it is one day at a time, no matter the soreness or pain. It’s life at least, I am still here and kicking.

As I see it, there is no man nor woman, who should stop or interfear in freedom of speech. when someone does, they are scared of what you are going to say is all. lets face it, no President has ever gone there yet, Trump did and does still today. To stand before the world and ask his Attorney General to attck his enemies is sad, just for using free speech! It was fine for him when he attacked the handicapped man, or his opponets in the election cycle, or when he goes after TV hosts of late night shows, or Television networks, or newscasters, so why isn;t it right for nayone to speak bad about him? If the Attorney General does what he wants, then she is breaking the laws and locking up and harassing Americans for just speaking out. That my friends is wrong! No matter who gave you your job, you can’t break the laws, The First Admendment, or the Bill of Rights, or Constitution, don’t let him do it or his Attorney General, please!

Now, where oh where can those Epstein Files be, and why won’t he let us see! We all know he is in them, numerous flights to Epstein Island, numerous pictures of him with 12 year old girls on his lap and his hands on their thighs. Numerous pictures of Epstein and trump together partying and having fun. Note and cards he sent Epstein revealed. Even Trump doesn’t deny his friendship with Epstein, but, he denies doing anything wrong. Look folks, pictures don’t lie, victims don’t lie, when do these women who were child victims get their justice? I think, they need to start releasing names themselves. Put the predators and perverts who touched you as girls on display and let America handle them publically. It may be the only way the victims wil get Justice in Trump’s lifetime. For he is using every trick in hospockets, tp stop those files from coming out and we all see him doing so. So, if he was innocent, he would want to prove it and clear his name, but he can’t, because he knows he isn’t innocent at all. In the meantime, Epstein’s victims are coming public one by one, talking and asking for the release of all the files. Trump didn’t run for reelection and get the White House once more to help Americans, he did it for protection against going to prison period, and he knows it.

He saw it coming in his first term so he stacked the Supreme Court with his republican friends to protect his own ass. He foresaw what would be coming. So the Supreme Court, backs him in all he wants to do and he gets away wth crimes he should not. I remind all of you he is a Convicted Felon, neve rin American History has one ever been President until now. 34 Convicted, twice impeached, and Congress hasn’t stopped him yet, why? He stumbles when he walks, his ankles are the size of softballs or bigger, his hands are black and blue, he falls asleep at public events. And he has the gut to point at Joe Biden? Thats bullshit, it’s a coverup is all. Sadly, he saw a way to stack the Supreme Court, and get away with it and did it. Now we all suffer the consquences of allowing him to do that. It’s sad, and demoralizing to all of us, with a brain as well as obvious too!

Let get say this, if America doe snot wake up soon an dput the brakes on Trump, he will hand us right over to Putin and Russia. We will become autocratic if we are not already. It won’t get better it will get worse wor all of us. Food prices up, housing prices up, jobs down, gas prices hugh, and utilities climb too. Listen Americans, you can say Joe Biden wasn’t the best, he was ill, yet he maintained and kept prices down, he kept jobs here. No man will be perfect as President, nor would any woman, but, I can tell you this, I know a trained dog who can do a better job than Trump in my opinion.

Finaly thing here I shall tell you all, as I said before in my blogs, if America’s forefathers, were alive today, Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Hamilton, Franklin and more, trump would have beenin jail by now. When you attack free speech you attack the very foundations of democracy and our republic. You attack the right of every American to voice their opinions, their ideas and their thoughts publically or privately. The forefathers knew that, and if they were here to see it, they would run Trump out of office and out of America for doing so. Also, why is Trump even President, he didn’t put his hand on a bible when sworn in this time, since when is that allowed. So many things are wrong now, it is sad Amercia today, and we get laughed at daily. When will it end?

The Importance of Free Speech in Today’s Politics


Good morning all, seems everytime I turn around my WordPress account is locked down for some reason, I tire of having tpo fight to get it back actually. Not sure what I will do about it as of yet. I have thought of going elsewhere to blog, but, I like the ease of WordPress.

Anyway I am back and have access again it seems so, as the politics in America goes, goes America’s biggest problem and mistake, Donald J. Trump. Sadly, the people elected him and they didn’t realize he was going to make the mess he currently has. So many things under attack, even free speech these days, all because he doesn’t like what people say about him. He is attacking TV Stations, Talk Show Hosts and anyone who says they don’t like what he is doing. Why, is Congress allowing him to do this and why hasn’t the Supreme Court stepped in and stopped him? It isa question we all need to take care of and answer soon, or where this country is going, we shall never know. I personally do not wnat my country to be autocratic or communistic in anyway. We do not need a KIng, or Dictator either, we escaped that 250 years ago. Please, Congress stop President Trump, hold him in check, make him listen and block the bullshit he is doing! Politics may be the reason I have having difficulty with my blog here too, for Trump attacks anyone or thing that says anything bad about him. But, I stick by the fact, I have Free Speech under the First Admendment. It’s vital to the foundations of our Constitution and way of life in America! If we lose free speech we lose our nation and what it wa sbuilt on Democracy and a Republic, please don’t let it happen, my Fellow Americans!

Be Well, My Blog for today!


Good Morning September 21st, 2025, for me the day began at 5 am. It seems since my wife passed in August of 2021, I don’t sleep as much as I used to. But, I am sure I am not the only person who is a widower or widow who has this problem. we all get used to our better half being there to comfort or cuddle or just as a presense we enjoy so much we relax best around them. It’s a natural occurrance for a married couple or long time couple.

I knew when I married my wife of 28 years, one of us would go first and since she was indeed 16 years my senior, I also knew it would be her, most likely. She knew it too, and accepted it. she also told me, I would be fine once she passed, she told me I am a realist, I realize what must be done to survive and adjust. Of course she was right, she usually always was, she had more experience period.

I have learned more though since she has passed. Dating apps don’t work folks, they suck up your money and no matter what you do or say, you don’t get far in meeting anyone. You can write great profiles, you can be polite, you can be nasty, you can say almost anything to get a date, and it doesn’t work much at all. It isn’t the app itself that kills the possibilities, it’s the people who use them. I say this because I have found certain things people do. 1) They lie in their profiles, 2) They do not use their latest pictures, they use old ones to hide aging, and other problems. 3) I find many are not there just to make friends or find a partner, many want money from you, or to get into your life financially, because they want it. 4) Then, there are those who, want you to take care of them, because they are ill or injuried and need an assistant to help them through life now. All of the above is true on most dating apps these days. The fears and apprehensions that come out are crazy. Too many worries in using dating apps, they do just eat your money and they auto-renew on you, if your not careful.

If you have a bowling alley near by use it. If you have a place to dance use it, A Group to hike or walk do it. If you, can even just play a game for fun, just do it. As long as you participate and meet new people in your age bracket do it. Even if it is a book club or writting club, do it, it gets you out there among others, and we are all human and need some himan interaction in our lives, or we go stir crazy or get depressed. And believe you, me, depression is not good, and stir crazy can get ya into trouble. Some like bars or taverns, they like to drink and eat. Some don’t. Personally while I like open enviroments, and less people, in my opinion, others like large crowds. It is indeed a personal choice for us all is it not? I think it is, just like, we pick and choose our lovers and partners, we pick and choose our friends. Some you get on with easily, others you don’t get along with at all, so you avoid one another and carry-on. I was never one to force myself on anyone, in anyway. So I avoid being a bother to anyone or a burden, and I do my own thing. I write, I watch tv and movies, I read alot, I walk alot. I like to cook now and then, for fun is all. I play billards once a week and bowl when I can if healthy. It gets me out of my home, into the world and among some people. It is called seeking contact, without being too serious, lol, at least in my book. But, that is life is it not folks?

People tell me to go to the Senior Center, get involved there they say. Well, I am 69 but I feel out of place in a Senior Center still. So I try to not go, unless there is a purpose I am interested in. I guess everyone feels different about that, but, thats my feelings on it all.

Am I happy, where I live and how I live? I am happy with how I live, and do the best I can. I try to stay healthy, clean my place and keep my mind busy. I like puzzles to build when I am in that mood, I have played video games also. But, writting poetry, stories and blogs, is my thing these days. Opinions are good to have if you don’t force anything on anyone, you can voice them. Some just putter along, I walk alone when I feel the need, a little walking stretches the legs and keeps me flexiable. But as to where I live, well that my friends is a different story so to say. I think, when we reach a certain age and status in life, we tend to look for more age definded, places to live. Thus a 55 plus community, became the choice for me. I thought, it would be among those my age and easier to get along in. While the community in general is a good idea for downsizing from a large home you can’t take care of anymore, it is not necessarily the way to go. One thing about these 55 plus community is people tend to get into each others business. They talk, and it becomes much like the old TV Show Peyton Place from many years ago, I don’t go there, and it is not my thing to do so. so, I live by a Theory these days, that is out in a book called the Let Them Theory. I let them think what they want, say what they want and do what they want, as long as it doesn’t physically or socially affect me. Then I go by the other end of said Theory too, Let Me Be me. I worry less what others do or say, and more of making myself happier this way. It is something I would reccomend others should do too. Momma always told me as a child, mind your own, and take care of your own and you will be fine. It’s when you over reach or put yourself too far out there, you get in trouble. It’s true, Momma knew!

Each year, I love to watch the NFL Games and NBA games too. while I follow MLB too, I don’t watch it on tv. A Baseball game would put me to sleep, it moves too slow. Hockey no thank you I say. Olympics I love to watch when they come around. In the meantime I watch tv shows that are mysteries, crime dramas mostly. I even like just putting Utube on for music and letting it play. Yet, life moves at it’s own pace and yes I am getting older. I don’t go drinking to drink, not a party animal of any kind. I may have a beer on a social occasion to fit in only. Alcohol is not me, I dislike it, I have seen too many people get addicted to it and ruin theirs and others lives and hurt people both physically and emotionally. No thank you. I don’t do drugs either, medications are bad enough when needed. lol. so, thats me, in a nutshell so to say, I am not anything other than a normal man, who takes life one day at a time, each encounter or person one at a time too. But, thats me, not all do that, some have a set purpose or way of doing things, I believe in some flexiabily in life.

Time has shown me don’t get too involved in Politics either. It is today’s atmosphere in politics I can’t take. I am not a MAGA supporter, and I don’t like the way, our President is doing business. I won’t publically fight over it, I avoid it, too much violence and anger exists over it all. I do realize, while we must all save our money and go day by day, arguing with people you can’t sway is not the way. So, i adapt to what is there and do the best I can to survive, don’t we all?

One thing I will do, if I see someone down, or hurt or needing help, and I can help them, I will. Helping is one thing, getting too involved is another thing lol. So I try to be careful in this area too, for some take helping as an insult to them, and get made. I learned ask first before you help, don’t rush in. when you do, people tend to look at you like an invading party in war time, lol. But, life is all about being careful and not over extending yourself, so we all survive well. Thats my blog for today folks. Be Well!

What do we as citizens and the people of America do now?


Friday, September 18th, 2025 has arrived. The days are beggining to get shorter and the temperatures more moderate now. Some leaves have begun to change also. Fall will be upon us in full very soon. It’s that time of year when thing change and rearrange and prepare for the coming winter, here in Massachuetts. One of the great things about Massachuetts is the changing seasons, like the whole east coast does have. It’s like a slow adventure of weather conditions and changes, that we never know for sure what is next.

Next subject Americans, my question is how far are we going to allow Trump to push the Constitution, and our Admendments and Bill of Rights? How long does he get to determine what is free speech and what is not? Listen, the Founding Fathers made the first Admendment for a reason, no man, woman or child should be afraid to voice their opinions, without reprecussions. America is based on certain principles folks, Freedom of Speech is one. Seperation of Religion and Government is two. when one man, just because he is President can tell the American People what they can or can not say, well, something is terribly wrong, period. So President Trump says out of one side of his mouth before elected he believes in Freedom of Speech. Now out the otherside of his mouth he is condemning those who joke, or attack his policies and his words, by killing their likelyhood? Stephen Colbert is cancelled, Jimmy Kimmel is pulled from the air, other comedians are attacked and watched for saying things President Trump doesn’t like about him. Listen folks, if Trump can mock cripples, he can attack politicians on the oppssing party and he can heckle his audiences and newcasters and reporters, why can’s comedians tell jokes and heckle him? What makes him so special? A President is not a King folks, he is not a Dictator, we are not communist, we are not Autocratic here, we are a Republic and Democracy, aren’t we still? Are Americans, now, sheep to fall inline behind one man, and not be able to speak their minds? What happened to the America we all love and protect, that one man can do this?

One more thing, for all Republicans and MAGA backers to understand here. No President no matter his age, no matter his party, can get three terms as President. It’s a law and in the Constitution folks. It was put in for many reasons. So, don’t go breaking the laws by trying to, please. Trump has enough failing cognitive functions and physical functions as it is. He is in worse shape then Joe Biden was when Joe decided not to run again. He stumbles, he fumbles his words, he loses track of what he is saying, he acts like an animal at public appearances and no one goes, look at him! The world is through folks, he embarrassed himself and our country in England and in The King’s dinner, on public television. He fell asleep, he ate like a horse. It’s sad, this man is allowed to represent us, it’s humiliating and embarrassing. yet, he is backed enough to stay in office. Sad. he is aging faster then Biden was, and fading on the cognitive level and physical level severely. I know republicans believe they owe Trump for the positions they hold currently, on The Supreme Court and in the House and Senate, but, lets be realistic now, how long do you think America is going to let this carry on? We have become the embarrasment of the world, due to his being President.

He can’t stop wars, but he is causing and creating civil unrest and anger in American society left and right. Violence erupts on the American land, left and right now. People are shooting others, all under Trump. He is putting National Guard Troops into American Cities! The National Guard is not trained to police anyone folks. They are there because he wants you to fear them. Instill fear, you then control the population, ask those who supported Hitler, ask those who supported Mussoloni folks. It’s true, how do you become a dictator 101 shows it is the first step. we need to wake up and stop this now, before our laws and right are all gone. Before the carefully crafted Constitution and it’s Admendments and our Bill of Rights disappear for good. before Trump starts calling us peasants, and the masses. It’s coming folks, and some are either too blind to see it, or they don’t wish to see it, because they are backing Trump and his MAGA ideals. It must stop!

That said now, there is not much more I can say, on this subject. If Americans can’t wake up to what is being done, then we are done as a Republic and a Democracy! It will all end under Trump, if you let it. I still believe in our Forefathers of our country. men like Franklin, Jefferson, Adams, Washington, Hamilton, and more. Washington feared the Military, Jefferson warned against fights between political parties and Franklin said, right after the Constitution was signed ” We shall only have a Republic and Democracy, for as long as we support and defend it” They knew there would come a time when it would be attacked from within, well here it is folks. What do we as citizens and the people of America do now, do we allow it to all go to hell in a handbasket under Trump, or do we fight back and how?

Stop Censuring Tv and The News


The Republicans, and MAGA Base of Trump’s is going too far, in censuring TV Shows and Late Night TV. They get Stephen Colbert pulled and cancelled because they don’t like his political opinions and jokes. Now they kill Jimmy Kimmel’s show over jokes about Charlie Kirk’s death? Let me say this clear and loud. The United States People have a right to Freedom of Speech, wheither it is on tv or on it’s streets. We are guaranteed that right, period. You don’t like what people say, you have no legal right to stop their livlyhood and show from being in the tv airwaves. You can object to what is being said if you wish, but, to take the shows off the air is pure political censure ship period and wrong.

Charlie Kirk was a political Activist and speaker only. He was not an elected politician, he did not for America, except incite the MAGA platform and people following Trump. He doesn’t deserve a MEdal of Freedom or a state Funeral. His death and Assasination is wrong true, and I agree it should never have happened, no one deserves what happened. But, stop trying to blame the Democrats or the Republicans for one lone nut shooter! It’s wrong!

Lets discuss the anger comming from the Republican side, yes the MAGA side of it. Scott Jennings, who is a political commentator on CNN, is constantly more angry daily, attacking liberals and democrats of all natures and kinds. He has gone in my mind from a political commentator who I once respected to an idealouge and die hard MAGA Supporter who is pushing rhetoric he should not push. You can aggree to disagree yes, you can state your opinion, on either side folks, but when you start backing removing shows from the airwaves because they said something you don’t like, well you are going too far. I don’t care if your’re pulling Stephen Colbert, or Jimmy Kimmel, or whomever, over the television air waves, the name doesn’t matter, the act of shutting down Free Speech in America is wrong, period!

That said, lets get to the truth and get the Epstein Files released in full. Let’s find out the truth, why was Donald Trump one of Epstein’s best friends for 15 years? what about alll the photos of Trump holding 12 years old girls, and touching their thigh and more? I don’t care what the MAGA crowd says, or Trump says, photos don’t lie. In the end, america elected a 34 Times convicted felon tp the Presidency, threw caution to the wind in doing so and created an illegal climate in our governement. Whether he is a pedophile or not, should be proven eithe rby releasing the files, or in a court of Justice, and soon. What of the victims of these cromes? Don’t they deserve Justice? I think they do!

Let’s stop the angery rhetoric, lets stop the violence incenting, lets get to the truth now! Stop, people like Scott Jennings from coming on the air waves and attacking every democrat and every liberal he can to protect Trump and MAGA period. If you can stop Kimmel and Colbert, and say they are wrong and remove them for jokes and comments on Kirk’s death, then you should also remove Scott Jennings for his hate filled rants and attacking the Liberal and Democratic side too. As momma once told me as a boy, always remember, what is good for the goose is good for the gander too. Let’s treat both side equal here. Lets be realistic and honest, Jennings needs to tone his rhetoric down, his anger down and back off or he should not be on CNN or any other news channel as a commentator unless, he does. He should stop inciting violence and anger, we don’t need it anymore.

Let me close with this statement today! I write poems, I write stories and I write these blogs of all different subjects too. There is no need to sue the New York Times, fo rtheir reporting, of Trump’s misdeeds or crimes. Trump knows it too, he is doing it, only to hurt the Times, a respected Newspaper and news source. He has attack many news sources and it is wrong. If you think, they reported the Epstein case wrong and your President, and can prove they are wrong, relase the files? bring the full Epstein files out to the public and prove you are innocent! Lets go!

I stand by the Constition and our Bills of Rights. We the People have the right to Freedom of Speech, just as much right as any President, Senator or Congressman or Politician in American. stop, killing TV SHows,and Magazines and Newspapers or Tv News Stations, because you don’t like what they say or write. we have a right to speak, it guaranteed unde rour RIghts. You don’t like it and can prove slander or predijuce or discrimination, then do so in court. Period. Freedom of Speech is vital to healthy nation and democracy folks.

Consider ethics,

Consider caring, sharing,

And in the end not swearing!

Consider warmth of human nature,

Consider kindness

Stop being angry,

Stop being cold.

Wake up and realize,

To our and my surprise,

We are all in this together,

This thing we call life.

No one is perfect,

No one is pure,

No one is king,

That’s for sure.

So stop, before you go mad,

Stop before you turn bad.

Put away your weapons and your anger,

Put away your hate,

For all of us, must you see,

Face the ultimate fate.

When we leave this plane,

we live upon,

And face the Golden Gates,

For the Judgement, on all, we have done,

Know that the one that greets us there,

Mondays usually begin the work week,

Except when you get older,

You become retired, and tired,

And a little less bolder.

Yet, like all days on the calendar,

They come and and they go,

Like some people you like

And may know.

You can’t be friends with all you see,

You can’t be perfect,

What you can do and this I know,

Writting can be good for your soul,

It can help with pain,

It can cause laughter,

It can help solve problems,

Sometime before,

We write poems, stories and blogs,

We tell stories of mysteries, romances,

Running fast and taking chances.

Sometimes it may be just a story we made up,

Other times it may be about something,

That was rough,

Or how it can all, be so tough.

Remember to write, to let it all out,

For in the end,

It is what writting, is all about!

Whats next America?


There comes a time. for all to realize, some things in America today. So, as a blogger, a single senior male, who is a widower, I look for ways to wake the American spirit I once knew growing up.

I was born in the 1950’s, and grew up in the 1960’s amd 1970’s. we had schools that taught, cars that worked an dprotected you, because they were made of steel. We had the best darn music too, with Aerosmith, Deep Purple, The Doobie Brothers, and all the Motown groups and artists. Movies were made to entertain, not shock, and not show how to kill. What happened to our world folks?

People had jobs and factories were everywhere. Work was plenty and prices were low, on gas, utilities and homes. We actually had the best years when I was young for sure. we found friends at parks and in schools. We kept the friends we had too. Some we have lost that is true and some moved on like me and you. Yet, some stayed and will never go away, we keep in touch is all I can say.

What happened to the peaceful streets of small towns and cities. What happened to peaceful protests, of the days of Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy? What happened to Presidents who had logic and common sense and morals and ethics? Where did our good Senators and Representatives go? You know the ones that would fight for our benefits, our rights, or freedoms! Where are you now, when we need you most?

Our streets and news filled with violence and shootings. Prices rising steadily, people hungry asking for food, homelessness rising, and hate mongers preaching and getting people more riled up than ever before. What happened folks, where did we go wrong? In my lifetime, I was born under Eisenhowser folks, he warned of the military, he warned of Russia. Kennedy came in and it began with his assasination, the bullets took over. But, at least it stayed stable for a while under Johnson and Nixon, of course there was Watergate too. what happened folks, where did the corruption come in, the anger and hate that now shakes America to it’s core?

Now prices are high again, jobs are disappearing and the homelessness rises again. People are hungry folks, desperate once more, begging for help. The anger between the Political Parties has now boiled over to the full public, as republicans and democrats argue and fight it out, with threats, and some die from bullets once more. Why?

Isn’t there a way to debate and discuss anymore? Isn’t there any morals and ethics and beliefs to treat one another fairly anymore? Where did it go folks? Please tell me why I can’t turn on the news and not see someone was shot today, or someone robbed or killed someone today? Why, is so much anger and misery in America, the land of the free, that we call it? Is there ever going to be peace again?

Let me state a few things here. We are still a republic and a democracy at least right now. we still have a Constitution folks and our Bills of Rights. But, for how long is my question? Can we maintain it or will we lose it all? I have said it before, and I say it again here, Empires are built and they fall, will, America fall like the rest after all? Are we too greedy, too angry, too non-caring, like the others that fell before us? Is our moral and ethical basis disappearing, is America crumbling? It sure looks like it to me.

Our children go to school, shootings, education is disappearing because it is being shut down by our President and Governement. why? Voting is being questioned left and right, mail in voting they want to kill next. One by one, piece by piece America is being dismantled, when will it stop? Social Security under attack, Medicare, Medicaid too. We paid into Social Security to have something for retirememnt, now, who knows how long it shall last? Medical costs skyrocket each day, elderly people die because their insurance isn’t paid and they can’t afford it. Burials are crazy prices and funerals too. what is America becoming is my question folks, where is it heading to?

The laws of the land we live in are constantly under attack. The Supreme Court does not act, and it protects the President, no one else it seems. Thats what happens when you let one man pick the Judges and they owe him you see. It’s as plain as it gets to see. I wish to remind everyone, no President can serve three terms in office, it’s the law of the land. It changed for a reason, and it should remain that way.

Wars rage around the world now, and slowly but surely, America is being drawn into them. Ukraine battles for it’s existence, Gaza falls to Israel, yet, we watch in horror and do nothing. Russian drones fly into Nato countries and Nato does not react, what is Nato for then, if not for protection of it’s members? Please explain that one?

Look I am a man who served my country for 16 years. I gave up my time, my energy, my body to defend and protect, what I believed in and still do to this day. I am disabled and a Veteran, I am old now, we served volunteerily back then, now we can’t find men and women to serve, not anymore in the same spirit. This is not the America, the Founding Fathers brought forth, anymore. It has turned into a quasi-autocratic nation under one man, who wants to be king, and dictator in one. Sadly, no one is stopping him! Congress grovels at his feet and kisses his ass, and he just goes on doing as he wants with illegal Executive Orders, and breaks laws left and right. Why isn’t he being stopped or impeached? So many politicans who hated Trump originally all of a sudden turned around and now kiss up to him, why? What is he holding over these people? The fear of being primaried? Look folks, you, can run again if you wish, but you will not win the votes, if you don’t grow a set of balls and stand up for what is right! Thats my opinion anyway. The way I see it, the mid-terms will come soon enough, and by November 2026, more Republican and MAGA politicans wil be headed home. America can not and I believe will not allow, this to continue for too long. It’s a check and balance thing we have going for us. It must now, snap back into place very soon. If it doesn’t folks, do yourself a favor, get a copy of Babbel language programs and learn Russian, because we are headed there. And that my fellow Americans, is not what we want for sure!

Navigating Dating as a Senior: Personal Insights


I went on Silver Singles an djoined ot try to find a lady in her mid-sixties to date and get to know. While I understand it is not easy to do in today’s America I figured I would give it a try. I did meet one lady, who is a very nice person, but, there was no chemistry or attraction for me on my part toward her. So I have to politely, let her down and say goodbye the best way I could, without hurting her.

Now I am not, Mr. Handsome, or Don Juan or anything of that sort. I am an average guy in my mind, who is a bit of an introvert, and not one who flirts. I also have not been in the dating scene in many years, except for a few dips in over the last three years. When I do try, I am amazed at how hard it is to find someone and get to know them. I am honest and if I do not like the lady I am with, I will tell them up front. If after a few dates or times together I do not feel an attraction or a romantic inclination toward the lady, I will l tell her either in person or through a text. I honestly am not saying the personality was wrong, for it wasn’t, there just was no physical attraction of any nature and no romantic inclinations on my part. So, I just basically, said good-bye as, nice as I could.

I am not a big bar or tavern person either, so meeting women in them is not my thing. While I enjoy social outtings, I can not handle large crowds well. So I have a two folded problem in meeting anyone that has become now, 3 folded in a way. 1) I am a bit of an introvert when it comes to women I do not know. 2) Flirting is an art I do not know how to do properly. 3) My age being 69, puts me at a distinct disadvantage, because finding single senior women is not easy for me.

Anyway, life goes on and I will keep trying, but, is there a way to get there in Westborough, Ma.? I tried going to Taverns and bars in town, and when I do, they are loaded with people, and I get nervous and can’t handle the crowds so I leave. I usually try to sit at the bar and have a sandwhich and a drink at least, unless it is full and crowded, then I do not stay.

But, I have learned now to live alone again, and take care of myself. While I would like a female friend to hang with, laugh with and as a companion and friend and maybe a lover, I do not want to have anyone take advantage of me, or try to take what is mine. I think that is pretty clear, right?

Would I date someone who lives in my condo complex? Well, originally when I moved here, I said no. But, over time i have thought about it more than once. I think if a woman wanted to date me here, or I wanted to ask one, it would have to be done, with the idea that what happens between two people stays between the two involved. Even if it ended in a breakup that went sour it is no ones business except those involved, in my opinion. I hope that makes sense, for in my book that is being mature about it all.

Anyway, just a few thoughts on what I am thinking about in my search for someone to date. I don’t care what others think about what I do, No matter what you do, people talk, some wil say bad things, some good, and you can’t change that fact. So, Let Them is What I say. Can’t control it, so why worry about it. I can only control my own actions and what I say and do period, so Let me, be clear, I will do as I please to make myself happy, if I can. I hope that makes sense, lol.
