If I Die

            If I die tomorrow and my life does end,

            Who would show at my funeral my friend?

            Would they come from my youth, the days when I ran free,

           A boy in the woods, enchanted you see?

           I doubt that they would even remember me!

         Would they come from my Elementary School days,

         Ah even if I wish to know some,

        I doubt it is what I say!

 

       Would they come from the days I roamed high school hall?,

       Carving and writing names on walls, long lost loves and

       Male friends, and all.

      I doubt it you see for I didn’t play ball!

 

        Would they come from my teenage years, when my hormones raged?

         And I had no fears?

         I doubt they would remember me after all these years!

 

         So if I die tomorrow who would come?

         To see a man who always had to run?

        Would my ex-wives show up, or my kids,

        I do not know, for I am a lone wolf and that is my soul.

 

       So as my blood pressure rages, and my nerves get blocked, my heart starts to clog and my life starts

       To Stop,   Tell me Lord who will be there to mourn me when I drop!

Dreams Don’t Go Away

I dreamed of peace. I dreamed of joy, I dreamed of things like all little girls and boys.

I dreamed of  love, I dreamed of caring, I dreamed of a family full of sharing.

I dream of all that could be, why couldn’t my dreams come true for me?

My Dreams were like every other child’s,

A World of fun, love and things so wild,

I did not dream of what happened to me,

I did not pick my mommy and daddy!

I did not ask to be brought into this world,

Any more than any other boy or girl!

I did not dream of living in fear,

I did not dream of siblings, who would not share,

Or,  a mother and father who had no care.

I did not ask for the beatings I got,

I did not ask to be hurt and threatened to be shot.

I did not ask for the memories I got,

Where I wake up running and sweaty from who knows what!

I dreamed of peace, I dreamed of joy,

I dreamed because I was a little boy.

The years of dreaming have gone by,

But I still feel the pain and see the beatings in my mind’s eye.

I see the poker coming down on my head,

His big hands,  grabbing me, and pulling me from my bed.

I wake up sweaty, my body trembles, my  mind races to survive,

My dreams you see were real for me,

Back when they were alive.

So, as you raise your children today, think of the pain of my memories and how they won’t go away!.

Please treat your children better is all I can say!.

 

         It’s time America, we need to be selfish like many other nations and to step back from lending help to so many that want to destroy us, or who don’t give a damn about us as a people and nation.  We put out trillions of dollars to help other countries, the Koreans ,the Iraqis, the  Afghans, the whole damn Middle East as we try to keep it peaceful over there. Then you add our assistance given to so many countries in the world for humanitarian needs, then stop and think, who the hell helps us?

 The American People help everyone worldwide that we can and we encourage democracy and hope and peace and when we get attacked like we did on 9/11 did anyone come running for us and help us, hell no! No one came running offering assistance medically, monetary wise of politically did they, nope! They sat back and went oh look America got hit and we are gonna watch what happens next, we had to bury our own dead, we had to clean up the mess of the two towers that went down from the attack, and no one gave two shits about it in the world.Why is that?

I don’t agree with Donald Trump the Republican candidate in anyway, but he is right about one thing America is being used by other countries in the world and being taken advantage of as well as being pushed around. Personal Opinion on my end, Donald Trump is too bombastic, bold, egotistical to be President of these United States. can you imagine him in talks with female leaders of other countries, telling them they are too fat, pigs,or not smart enough to lead. or him trying to negotiate a wall with Mexico and the reaction he would get from world leaders, the way he talks, come on now. While he is a business man and a real estate mogul and Casino Owner, he is not Presidential material with his attitudes, actions and voice. The way he carries himself is like he thinks he can bully the world into following him. it will not happen. But he has some good things he is bringing up also, why should America be allowing Mexico free access to our border and country? Why Should our Automobile Industry, Invented in America now be being taken over by other countries and our manufacturers of automobiles be building then on other countries? Bring em home, lower the taxes on the industry and lure them home and keep them here to create exports and jobs for Americans not Mexicans or Japanese or anyone else. On those points I agree with Mr. trump we need to do something about these things, but not his way, he can not just invent tariffs, and slap them on nations because he doesn’t like what they are doing.  It will  be a breach of international edict and cooperation, period and be scorn upon by the world.While we need to stop the illegal immigration problem at our southern border and building a wall sounds like a great idea, no one will ever get Mexico to pay for it not even Trump. Here is the bottom line folks on Mr. Trump in my book and in my opinion ok, Donald Trump is a big ego, that needs to be knocked down some, he needs to be more diplomatic, and more cunning as he says. But he also needs to be able to get along with others and play nice, in the world, lets face it no one puts up with a bully for long do they? I saw impressive performances in the Republican Debate but not by Donald Trump, by carly Fiorina, by Dr. Ben Carson yes, but not Trump You can’t keep saying you will do something and not produce a plan to do it and get it done to the American People where is the plans to do these things? What actions will you take to get them done and when will Americans hear them?  While I am at it, here is  one to ask Donald Trump Americans, why is he on his third wife, why did the first two end in divorce, why did Mr. Trump have to file bankruptcy three times and start over? It concerns me that he did and wants to be President, can America commit Bankruptcy and survive, nope so how the hell can he?  I am also tiring of hearing how great he is, how much money he has and how rich he is, how he will do this or that, but no proof of how he will do anything, it’s a crook of shit! Or like the deli owner on television on CNN said have  a Trump Sandwich it’s a LB. of Baloney! Don’t buy his bullshit America make him produce a plan and make him prove what he says, he was wrong on Obama’s Birth Certificate, he does make mistakes and can be wrong period, remember three bankruptcies. It is time Americans to get ready to pick a new President for America but it is not the time to make it Trump, he is not Presidential material in anyway.

Ross Perot failed in his bid and he was rich, and Trump should and will fail in his too, believe me! We the American People are not stupid enough or naive enough to believe this man’s words just because he is a billionare are we? I hope not, our ForeFather’s who wrote the Constitution did not use rich men to create our country and make them Presidents, they used smart, intelligent, courageous men, Washington, Jefferson,Adams, and yes Franklin. Not all were perfect, but they did produce the greatest constitution in the world and the greatest country, not on being rich, but by and for the people. Always remember that America, and choose carefully, in 2016! we need to be selfish and pull back on helping others and bringing our economy back and helping our own to live better and get educated better, we need to extend unemployment, create jobs by giving manufacturing breaks tax wise, we need to encourage ideas and ingenuity, to make it work better. we can’t stop taking care of our Veterans or elderly either, nor can we ignore the healthcare crisis and kill Obamacare, we should work to improve it, not remove it. Last and foremost but not least,America must earn back the trust, the respect the world had for us for the past over 200 years. We must set the pace, we must provide, defend and keep hope, democracy and peace alive in the world it is our position and place. If you Agree with me, then I suggest you let the world know and other Americans too, let them all know wherever you go, We Must pick right and choose right and bring America Back!

            I look at Presidents of the past, who carried themselves with pride, integrity and honesty, who knew how to conduct themselves, with all, including women, men, children and friends and foes. And In Donald Trump I see a person who does not have the mannerisms or style or abilities of a Presidential candidate.

Is Donald Trump Presidential to you when he says comments about women bleeding out there eyes and elsewhere on their bodies? Doesn’t he understand women outnumber men 3 to one in America and  the world and that by alienating them he is dooming his own possibilities of being elected. I am sure he does, he graduated from Wharton College and has a degree, he is not stupid at all. So what is Donald Trump really up to with his statements about women and the immigration of mexicans and other sinto America? Is he there to anger the American Voters, so someone else can win election, is he really just distracting people from something else, or is he trying to help another candidate in the race? Believe me Donald Trump is not an ignorant or uneducated individual, he knows what he is doing with these comments and word, and he has some purpose to it all.

  What his end game is, we may not be told or know by the time he is done, because he is playing a game of hide the truth of what he is up to. He knows damn well that women make up 2/3s of the American voters and that by making statements he is pushing them away from himself and his run for the President’s Office and Position, yet he continues making these statements why? Easy folks, he does’t really want to run for President, nor does he really want the position, he wants to just disrupt the process, long enough for someone else to step in and win.

  By, my opinion that is what he is up to, so here is what I say for all to hear. How much more of Donald Trumps comments against women, mexicans and immigrants will the American People take? How long will it take Americans to send Donald Trump a message to get the hell out of the race?  What is next that he can report or state that is wrong or off base, that Americans will have to listen to? Do you really want Donald Trump representing you to Russia and Putin, or to any other country? Do you really think he can build a wall across the Mexican border and make Mexico pay for it? He can’t no matter how good his negotiating skills may be. Do you really want a man who made such statements against women, as your President, that your children wil have coming into their home at least 6 times a year on television in your home? Is this a man you want your children to grow up with and admire if he gets elected ladies and gentlemen, I think not!

 Do all of us a favor Americans, tell Donald Trump to get out of the election and off the stage, tell him to drop out of the race and stop his damning and nasty statements and sexist statements against women and immigrants with him! Sadly, too many people are afraid of Donald Trump because he has money and a big mouth and the American Press as his platform to keep doing what he is. The Press should begin to look away from him and let him flounder in the wind so to say, sooner of later he will disappear and Americans can tell him like he did all other on The Apprentice, Your FIred!  Get off the stage Donald and stop the bullshit, you are not Presidential material in anyway!. Drop Out !!!!!!!!!!!

             

 Two debates  by the Republicans happened last night. The first the outstanding individual was Carly F, she remained cool, calm and came prepared, had good answers and didn’t take no crap from anyone.She impressed me and many others with her performance and answers and looked very like a great leader for all to follow. She easily beat anyone on the stage with her, because she was prepared, intelligent and logical too. I hope we shall see her in future Republican debates against the front runners next time.

 Next came the 9 pm Debate with the top ten popular republican candidates supposedly. The ten stood on stage and from the get go you could get a apprehension from them all, like they feared what was coming, not one was fully prepared. But I did admire certain answers and candidates and the way they handled themselves. My belief is that one stood out and that was the good Doctor Ben carson, he had sense, logic and a sense of humor. Secondly, Chris Christie told the truth on the issues he addressed, but his attack on Rand Paul was not right, yet he was correct in what he said. Trump to me did not outshine anyone, his answers were without merit, or logic, what do you mean because you say so, or because some border guards told me so. Where is the proof of the illegal immigrants being criminals, there is none Mr. Trump and you know it. And we all know you will not build any wall on the Southern border of the United States to keep mexicans out nor will the Mexicans pay for one, so cut the bullshit. You have no education solutions, no solutions for the job market or unemployed people, nor do you have a solution to bring manufacturing back to America. You don’t have the answers Mr. Trump and you know it like we all do too, tho you do know Television presence don’t ya        

Certain candidates did not belong on the stage in this debate even though they got there barely. Rand Paul has no business being there and his answers sucked as did his carrying of himself.Ted Cruz is not Presidential material in my book and even though he tried hard to convey what he wanted to say, he failed in connecting to Americans. Mike Huckabee in my opinion was alike a fish out of water on a stage where he didn’t belong with his religious views and ideas. So, in my opinion in two republican debates in one day,or evening I saw only one of them make any sense and that was Carly F in the first one.So before you accept these people as your candidate Americans, make them answer how they will improve the economy, bring jobs back, make em tell you how they will keep social security and medicare and medicaid going for those in need, make them tell you how they will lower taxes for the middle income and lower income folks and extend unemployment too. Make them tell you what they can replace ObamaCare with before they even try or get elected. Be smart Americans, don’t accept, because I said so.

This man affected my life growing up even though he never knew how many he affected! He needs to be put into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his songs and artist abilities. 30 years after his death his songs are still being played on radio stations and on cd players across the world.        Three days into August of 2015, and the sales start for Christmas, and the Presidential Election Process is building faster. The Republicans are running 16 people, the Democrats four, so 20 people want to be President and the problem is who is really qualified and can prove it to the American People?

I am growing older these days and I have seen too many things in my lifetime to fall for bullshit and big talk, so those would be the candidates I would eliminate first as a voter. Secondly if your not for Health care, Medicaid,Medicare, and Social Security get lost. Third, Create jobs and boost the economy for all Americans and you will get my vote. Extend Unemployment, Give Tax Breaks to companies wanting to manufacture in America, get us out of Middle East Wars and Policing and bring troops home and the money and supplies and pay to keep our war veterans and the homeless and hungry going here first. You want The White House help middle income America and the poor get richer and make enough to eat, house and protect themselves and you get my vote, otherwise you won’t.

The Next thing to look at Americans is the no work, and stalled congress we have. They play in Washington, but do not a damn thing for anyone. They block, and vote out anything that will help the people and stalemate the President and the people by doing it. It’s a sad, sad world if you’re in Congress, whether it is the house or senate if you ask me, neither is accomplishing a god damn thing, yet they get paid enough by us all. Lazy bastards! And many of them now are running for the President’s position  in our nation and they can’t even take care of their own states and people they represent. Let’s face facts, Americans, we need a huge turnover, in both the Senate and House, and a President they will support and work with, before we can get anything done. We need better Gun Control Laws, and better Law Enforcement Techniques too, and to solve the Immigration Problem, not by promising to build walls, but by better border patrols, and relations with Mexico. The Immigration problem is not from Mexico sending it’s people here, but from the mexicans running from their own country to here for a better life and opportunity. Face the facts folks, ok!

As I get ready to head into my 60th year of life in January, I stop and think back over the years I can remember, the Years of presidents, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon,Ford, and more and think where did we go wrong? Where did we make a wrong choice and at what time did we blow it folks? You all tell me, but the last time I saw affordable food, gas,oil and jobs was under President NIxon really. President Clinton gave a boost to the economy when he was in, but it went steadily downhill since, so what do we do now to improve it? When will Americans all have a roof over their heads, when will they be able to eat again and not walk the streets as homeless and hungry and stop having to live in cardboard boxes? You tell us, all you Politicians, when will The Veterans who are disabled get a raise to live on, when will the welfare rolls be slimmed down again? Tell us and we may vote for you, don’t and in my opinion you can go home and play alone!

    August of 2015 has arrived folks and to tell ya the truth, time is flying by too fast for me as I get ready to close in on 60 in age!. It seems to me the older I get the faster time passes and the less time I have to do what I want to do, and of course everything costs money so doing much is out. Money and time are too things that are hard to come by in today’s America believe me!

Anyway, life will continue on long after I am gone, but what will be left for my grandchildren and those beyond them? Will America survive as a country and republic or will it crumble  like the other great republics of history, Rome, Inca.s and Aztec, or will it survive longer. Our base is a country of immigrants with freedoms they don’t have anywhere else in the world and a constitution that ensures those rights to all who are American. But we as Americans may have gone too far by not restricting who comes in and who doesn’t and not having stricter laws regarding it all. Plus we have a limit on how many we can really take, the population is booming and the economy is slumping, bad combo folks.

As time moves forward no matter what,I stop to think back on those i love and miss and those mistakes I may have made and think, I did the best I could for all of them. One can not stop living or live on apologizing forever for mistakes and I refuse to. I apologized for leaving my daughters behind, when my divorce happened and tried to make amends to them, that’s for sure.  I made my peace with my mom’s memory and my step-father too. I made peace with my real father who left when I was 9 months old. I think I made peace with every branch of service I served in, for I have Honorable discharges from three branches, U.S. Army, U.S. Army National Guard and U.s Navy and did my 16 years the best I could and got injuried doing it. Became a disabled Veteran and survived it all with six bad discs in my spine for it all. Do I owe anyone anything, I doubt it folks not now, so I will live the rest of my time to the best of my abilities and have fun.
