This is the opening of the book as a sample:
Long ago, they called him MAC, just Mac is all they would call him, his real name was not known to many except his relatives and people just automatically assumed it was his rightful name. His real name was Mark Anthony Cooper, a Detective who was great at his job and known for hunting down the worst killers in the cities’ history. He solved some of the worst murder mysteries by being patient, and persistent, plus studying clues. But his greatest tool was communication and control, Mac, never lost control on his cases even if, they drove him crazy, his cool calm, exterior and mind set made him a Detective who all wanted to be like.
I have been asked before, why would you write, what makes you think you can and are your stories true?
Well, #1) Being a disabled veteran with military stories in me from my 16 years, helps me with my PTSD I suffer from.
#2) I try to write about romances unfulfilled or make up stories of murder, to entertain. Mostly I based some truths in these, but not 100 percent.
#3) If I use anyone for a reference or anyones name, I try to make sure they can not be identified through the story and yes I do mixed Non-Fiction with fiction at times to make a story better.
#4) A disabled Veteran can’t do much physically or at times even mentally if they are like me, we need a way to relieve pressure and surviving.
In The end writing is like a way of getting out the things that bug me and getting heard in a positive light mostly. And to warn others on family lives gone wrong and what shapes people as they grow. I hope it helps others understand life, also my blogs try to cover the current topics in politics, wars,Congressional bullshit and laws. In the end I hope some can go yeah he said that right is all.
2013 goes on with the same debates in Congress and no action on any of it. Immigration has no solution at this point because half want to give the illegals citizenship the other half want to send them home. Wasn’t America built on immigrants and why can’t we just let them become legal and move on? Who cares where they are from, as long as they will defend and protect this country let em in.
Obama-Care, please Congress wake the hell up, it passed, you can not resend it nor can you remove it, work with it. Make it better for all ill and elderly and needy, don’t keep crying over a lost fight. You don’t help anyone by bucking the only thing decent in Medical Coverage in 200 years.
Lets now talk wars, don’t get involved in anymore. Veterans, and the people have said no more we can’t afford or do it. Syria I know, some are itching to get into there don’t! Syrians will sooner or later get Assad and the country will move on, on it’s own. We don’t need a quagmire like KOrea, Vietnam, and Afghanistan do we, can’t afford it. We spend billions on billions policing other nations, fighting their wars and trying to help them, but when the USA is attacked all they do is point and say look it hit them too and not care. It’s time to not care some too, bring our troops home, bring our supplies home and our money, start spending all those funds to help our own homeless injured, medically incapable and economy and jobs. Imagine the difference an injection of billions of dollars will do to the American Economy and the American job market!
Last Note at this time today, many are looking forward to 2016 and the next Presidential Election! The Parties are gearing up and names are flying around now, Clinton, Rubio, and more. Stop before you get too worked up and listen first, not all will be healthy and ready at the time, nor will all the names they bring up now be available then, some are getting up in age and have medical problems. So stop first and wait till you see who will run before ya play adopt someone or force someone to run who can’t.
Time it is a commodity we only have so much of. We don’t determine the length of life we live, only the type of life we live, for as long as we control it. Once the lights of life start disappearing from a person their body and soul starts to slow down too and they begin to understand the mortality of their being. We all have limited time to say I love you, I care, or to laugh or cry, and we just don’t realize it till it is almost too late. Then when our time is up and we face the end of life, we finally realize what made it all life, other people who we have in ours. It is the interaction between people, that makes a life complete, not just a spark of life in your body, but who affected you and whom to affected with your life. It is not what we leave behind that counts, material wise, it is what we leave behind that is a part of us, from inside that counts. Did you teach your child to count, did you teach a child to sing or play music, to write a story, draw a cartoon or person or bird? Did you teach a child to walk and talk and to be decent to others, cause if you did that is your legacy to the planet, and to humankind.
An old band called Seals and Crofts said in the 1970s, We May Never Pass This Way Again. They were correct for we know once we die we are gone for good from the human side of the equation that is life. We can no longer affect how our children learn or think or how the world reacts to things or anything else. So while we are all here on earth and in the human body and form and can interact with each other, can we just do so in an intelligent and peaceful way, and make the world a better place for our children and the children of the future? Or is it asking too much of the current generation of humanity to stop and think about the next few generation ahead and make it all easier for humanity to survive and get along? You Tell me folks!
As Congress debates many things and nothing gets finished or passed, can someone please tell me what we pay these politicians for? They fight like children in a playground over every issue and make it impossible for Americans who need help to get it, Why?
As Medicaid, Medicare, Obama Care all get attacked and jobs become less and less, and the American Economy is dropping like a rock, Congress, the men and women we elected to office, collect big paychecks but do nothing, Why?
So many question are out there and so many problems are out there, yet no action is taken! Sadly, some action will be taken soon by the American People I am sure when they start to vote out of office the deadbeats and hanger- ons.
