The end of America is upon us !


My opinion on Donald Trump and all he has done is mine alone. Yet the Decision of The Supreme Court to take up his Immunity Claim at this time and delay the trials and legal actions against him, to help him is not right. Trump’s Immunity Claim, which he knows for a fact and most believe is nothing more than a delaying effect by him, makes me very Suspisious of The Republicans on The Court. Seems to me, Trump’s appointiees are running the show On The Supreme Court and working in tandum with one another to help Trump. As the News hits on The Supreme Court to hear these arguments on his immunity and the timing of it, as well as the fact the Supreme Court did not fast track it, makes me wonder, are the Republicans on the Court, working with Trump ?

There may be no communication with Trump by The Justices that can be seen, yet it should be investigated if there, may be. In my opinion, their refusal to fast track the whole immunity factor, makes me think, they are backing Trump for President. More then one of them ,I would guaranteeing are doing so because Trump put them on the Court and they are returning him the favor. Yet The Supreme Court by hearing this Immunity Claim, needs to realize the time factor regarding the election cycle in America. If they do not fast track this case, it will run dead into the election cycle and confuse many Americans, as to the fact of Trump’s ability to stay on the ballot. For if he has no immunity from the crimes he is charged with, it will go one way and could halt his candidancy, and he can be tried for felonies. If they say he has Immunity, then all the other cases disappear and the mess will not be solved in time, for all to decide how to vote.

The Supreme Court needs to realize, if they do not solve this immunity claim, they are taking the chance a felon and criminal will be running America! Which means if Trump wins the election, he can on his own stop all prosecutions against him and get off free. I don’t believe that should happen and the Supreme Court should not allow that, Trump led the riot, he called for those who attacked the capital on Jan. 6, he told them to do so on public tv and he refused to call it off for over 188 minutes. Am I alone in thinking the danger of not fast tracking this, is purely evil and will allow Trump to gain political advantage as well as please his follwers, agravating the situation in the country, they will cause more violence, and confrontations, as well as have to run for cover themselves, For either way they decide this, can leave people angry, mad, and cause an acting out of violence beyond caompare in America. For The Maga Supporters and Trump supporters will go crazy if he is not given immunity, and the anti-Trumpers will go crazy if he gets immunity. We are already a tense nation angeed over this whole issue of what happened on Jan. 6th, we are at a boiling point for sure. The Supreme Court is being foolish and not intelligent in taking this up ! Also, is it right for a President to do what he wishes while on Office and get away with it too ? I thought we were a country of laws and of equal justice for all, why give Trump Immunity he was not acting as President when he did his acts, speeches an dmore on Jan. 6th. He was acting as an angry candidate who lost an election and plotted to keep the White House and presidency. On top of all of the above, he had people tear up the capital and threaten VP Pence with hanging, yet he is claiming ummunity, come on now.

I feel sorry for the country if Trump gets immunity, and I feel sorry for the Supreme Court also. I will also feel very sorry for all Americans, because if Trump does it again, or the next President after this election does it, we are done as a republic and democracy, just walk the communist into office ! If Trump gets immunity in this case, that means no President can be tried for any crimes they commit while in office So that means if a President sets a hit up on a opponent, or commits crimes of theft, or more, they can’t be touched for any crime. Imagine folks, a President is now, a God, and can do as he pleases in office with no way to stop the president except, Impeachment. That means, while President, a person can do anything they please, and that if so, is indeed the end of our constitution and our form of government and the Republic.

The end of America is upon us, now brought on by Donald Trump ! I hope and I pray, the Supreme Court wakes up and realizes all of the above. No man or woman is above the law, and equal justice must be given to all, or you may as well just throw out our laws and constitution and all Admendments !

Is openess and Converstaion the way?


Hello Feb. 26th 2024 ! Time marches on for sure, and Westborough an dlife is no exception for sure. Westborough, if it continues raising taxes, will tax itself out of existance soon enough. The town needs to be more realistic in what it is doing, I know they want to movetoward city status here, but, you will lose the elderly and those who work fora living daily fast, but increasing taxes each year. The tax increases, need to stop soon, or the population of Westborourgh will decrease not increase.

I see Westborough trying to have it two ways here, you can’t attract seniors by building 55 plus communities and then tax the hell out of them and keepthem. Limited incomes come into play folks wake up!

I have only been in Westborough since 2022, March to be exact, and I am learning that if you don’t drink in this town, you don’t really meet people. You need to drink or attend church lol, thats it folks. If you go out to bowl or eat, people don’t really talk to newcomers or strangers, yet, how do you get to know people here?

I will reinvestigate the Senior Center, and try places like panera Bread and such and hope to meet someone, but, those hopes seem very slim for anyone 65 and up and I am 68 now. Ageism brings to light a factor we all must face sooner or later in life , we all face it of course, but, few, overcome it, or help those of us facing it. But, I warn Westborough and it’s population, time marches on period, and we all age, so you have to account for it here in Westborough, or lose on the financial side for sure, elderly folks will leave taking their funds with them, and go to cheaper places. I have already seen it happening in the newer 55 plus community I am in in Westborough. Then on top of the rising taxes and HOA costs to live here, ageism becomes the additional factor, because you can’t bridgethe age gap and give the elderly places to get together it seems. A Senior Center itself alone can not work for all Seniors to meet, it is not to be the lone social place for the 55 plus crowd.

You need to expand somethings in town and attract more business’s that will help the elderly here or lose us. Singles dances for 55 and up would work, but, you need aplace to hold them and to mak ethen affordable. You could bring in Roller skating, oldies music, crafts, or arts. SHows, a theater would work in town for movies. Now I know neighboring towns have some, but, what person in their 55 and up ages wants to be driving all other the area and state to find things to do, be realistic ok. The elderly need tax breaks and the ability to do things once retired, or unable to work. We end up walking lakes or malls, or staying alone because our options in Westboro are slim really.

Anyway on my personal front, I go day by day, still trying to explore and understand Westborough, it’s people that I am now a part of. I am also trying to understand Mass itself, it’s style and it’s way of operating. Don’t get me wrong folks, I am not saying I don’t like Mass or Westborough, I just don’t fully understand it, and it’s people. In a way it is a struggle to really get used to living here, why Id o not know, it matters not who I talk to here, it just seems people are either stuck up, stubborn, or don’t want to be involved meetingnew folks. Why that is, is beyond me, but I shall keep trying to talk to whoever I can. So My one question for all of Massachuetts and Westborough itself is simple, is Open COnverstaion and talking to people the way to go here ? Will that hekp to get accepted in Westborough, Ma. , you tell me folks!

Central House Tavern/ Westborough, Mass./ more !


Sunday the 25th, of Feb. 2024 begins early for me, I awoke at 6 am here. The sun is just starting to peak out, and that day will begin slowly, I am sure. As the world turns and things happen from wars, to deaths, to politics and crimesm all I know is life goes on, all the time.

I usually stay home and not do much, because I don’t like wandering around by myself, I always feel out of place and isolated when I do. But at 68 years old now and alone since my wife passed in 2021, I am finding the isolation of the aloness is a killer in it’s own right. The more i stay alone the worse off I am, I am beggining to believe, so, I am trying to find places to go, to just meet people in Westborough and do things. So, I decided to ask about some Bars/ Taverns in Westborough on a web page on facebook, and was told the top two in my area would be Central House and JP’s both taverns. So I have in the past tried each a few times and found myself alone and not talking to anyone, so I decided I would give it a new try last night.

I decide to wander into the Central House, and see what was happening on a Saturday evening, I ended up there around 5:30 pm. Got a bar seat and got me a sandwhich and a draft beer. I remembered they had a good pastrami and cheese on rye there so I ordered that. I watched the Kentucky/ Alabama Game on the tv and started talking to a couple next to me first, then ended up talking a gentleman my age Wally, and a young woman who is getting married soon. In the end I spent about 30 dollars in whole and wa sthere about two hours give or take a few minutes. The Central House is a cozy tavern for sure and clean and neat and seemed to be friendly enough to me. Bartenders are friendly and helpful when needed too. Being as I am a widower, I wa shoping to meet a lady there if I could but, not many to talk to there at this time that I was there. It’s not the world I grew up in anymore out there, it is all online dating sites and they cost and don’t work for real. Yet, it was better then sitting home staring at a book or the television.

Central House is just a house converted into a bar/ tavern with decent food for sure and a decent atmosphere that, is welcoming to all. As one person told me, the place can be slow one second and then full the next lol. And that did happen while I was there. it got full but not overly crowded, on saturday while i was there.

Now, the other place that was recommended to me was JP’s Tavern, off of RTE 9 here in Westbourgh. Jap’s is a cozy lil hole in the wall for sure. It is dark in there, and if you go usually crowded around 5 pm. I have been twice and JP’s is a all cash set up, they don’t do credit cards, but have an atm there. The place was great the first time I went in, it was clean and neat and crowded, but I got a bar seat. Watched some games and golf on tv there, and talked to a few people is all. Most seemed busy with either dates or spouses to me. So the first time I only had a meal anda beer and basically left. I went back a second time and to be honest, I left in ahurry, I thought they had forgotten to clean the place up. Thew floor was covered in popcorn lol. I didn’t like it so I left. I think it isa busy lil tavern/ hole in the wall and it seems very popular in town to many. So I may go back in the future and try again, tame shall tell, the bartenders are friendly, and most of the people seem to be too.

Some have said try Arturo’s or Red Heat, Red Heat I was in once with mys ister, and then once with another friend, but it was not at busy times. It seems light and airy, but I know not what the crowd is like there. Arturo’s I have never been in yet, but I am told it is a good resturant and a decent place to go. So there is decent bar/ tavern scene in Westborough, it does seem. Then someone mentioned Cold Harbor Brewery, I went in once looked around and left, airy and wide open it is, and it seems nice, but I wil have to re-check it when people are there.

Now I have done bowling in the area and Bowlero in Shrewsbury, is a decent place to bowl and have a drink. Also I have been to The Apex in Marlboro to bowl also. Both alleys are fun, the Apex is newer of course and more crowded I believe. They both have tvs for sports, and loud tunes playing and bars in em. They have food also if your hungry. Now I bowled with my neighbors in either place, for a year, and then they changed the day of the week and time and I fell out so to say. I love bowling and have fun with it, so, I hope I can get back to it soon, time shall tell.

Otherwise I end up walking alot around my condo complex I live in, reading, building puzzles, watching tv, and playing on the internet on my computers or xbox, I have. I like cooking now and then, but, with no one to cook for I don’t do it much. Art wise I like to draw cartoons and scenery at times and even attempt to draw people I see. But, that is only every now and then when the mood hits me. As to the Condo Complex I live in at Chauney Lake here, I play billards on Monday evenings and then fo rthe last two weeks I have tried mexican train dominos with my neighbors for laughs and company. Again being a widower, I live alone, and am struggling to find my way in a town I know very little of. So, I am trying to adapt slowly to Westborough, Mass. and no I do not want to be running to Boston, while Boston is a very busy city, it isa tourist attraction mostly and very costly. I prefer small venues and towns nearer to me.

I like fishing every now and then, there is Chauncey Lake and of course the Resevoir off of South Street in town. It’s nice for fishing and peace and quiet moments.

No Movie Theaters in town, but there is Soloman Pond Mall around the corner in Marlboro, and Neighborhood Tavern also on Rte 20. Many place to eat around too from Diners to resturants of all kinds, up and down RTe 9 and 20 and in Marlboro and more. SHopping is always there, many stores and many plazas.

While Westborough has a Senior Center in town, and i have been there I think twice now, it is usually not busy that I see. Once they had a yard sale there and the secone time I saw some gentlemen playing pool togeher. I am sure there is more, so I will have to check it now and then.

While Senior Centers exist in neighboring towns, also I am told, I have not ventured there, yet. I have not seen any dances for seniors around, I use dto love roller skating too not here it seems, and ice skating used to be fun, but age ya know. As to meeting a woman, at my age, of 68, my chances are slim to none and I know it. At least I am not stupid enough to believe meeting a companion, friend or female lover, can happen for me. When ya reach 65 and up, ya get the idea if ya know what I mean. What woman wants a 68 year old man in today’s world in Westborough ? Westborough is a fine town with a growing population, but, I do recommend if your going to build 55 plus communities here, you should gear some of the entertainment venues/ bar/ taverns or events to the senior population. The town is making enough in taxes off of us and should give us seniors more to do to enjoy our time left. Just an idea folks !

It’s sad but true, Trump will sell us out !


Feb. 20th, 2024, Tuesday is well underway. The Sun is out and so is the cold was 20 degrees this am. A day like all the rest in my book, being retired and disabled, makes it pass slowly. Sometimes I think I should just surrender, but, I don’t. It is a borderline area, few would discusss I am sure, when they reach the stage I am in. At 68, one begins to realize they are on the downslope of life so to say, and we tend to protect and preserve ourselves in may ways. Our health and well being, comes first, but, we still seek to be involved with the world and attempt to keep busy. I think if one keeps their mind busy, they are far better off than most. It is involvement, activities and finding things to do, that keeps one going. Once a person stops being involved, or stops talking and communicating with others, and they isolate themselves, the decline begins. So, whatever you do as you age, stay involved, keep the mind busy and use your body as much as you can.

Living in a 55 plus community like I do, for me is rough. While the people are decent folks, I also know there are gossip kings and queens here. You neighbors watch everything you do as you come and go. They question, what they see, and of course behind your back they gossip about it all !. 55 plus communities, while they are great for those of us who live in them, because you are near to people in your age range, they are dangerous also in some ways. Some get cast aside, or overlooked, or ignored and others get included in all that happens. Those smart enough to know better, don’t date within the community. Looking around in such a community, leads you to see, we have widowers, and widows, we have divorcess here and of course some couples who are married. Yes it is a diverse community not only on racial, ethic and other backgrounds of all of us. You learn to accept everyone and just putter along like all of them. Excitement in a 55 plus community is a birthday party, or a popular event happening. Life in a 55 plus community is really, about fitting in and how much fitting in one wishes to do. For if you get involved in the activities and events here, you at least get people to talk to. Friendships take time to happen if you are new, but with very little effort it will happen for you or me. Personally, I talk to anyone I see, if I can, but I will neverimpose, or burden anyone, nor, will I force myself into anything or on anyone. As a widower myself, I feel how hard it may be to live in such a community, for you know if you cross the line and attempt to het involved with a member of the oppisite sex who lives here, it can be dangerous in many ways. For we all know, when relationships go wrong and many do, the ones that work are few, it is usually the male half that gets blamed. And if your a single male, you lose out and get forced by peer pressure and community pressure, and outcast and that leads to selling and moving.

I stay alone and try to stay aloof in all ways. That way, no one can say I did anything to them, living here. Once your marked as a problem in a 55 plus community you end up, looked down on, and cast out so to say. Isolation happens, and you find no matter what, others won’t talk to you. In the end this can lead for a person 55 and up, to isolation, and that can lead to your mental and physical health going south so to say. Keep busy folks, walk, run, play sports, play cards, dominos, or whatever is available. Pickle Ball, hikes, walking malls, and if you drink there are many bars here in town. For me at 68, I feel I am on the downslide or downslope so to say. I don’t like to drink much and would only do so to fit in. So Bars/ Taverns, are not my favorite place to be or go. I always feel I am out of place when I do go to one, ageism is in effect for sure, here in Westborough, Mass. The world tends to start pushing you aside when you reach 55 and up, so don’t be surprised if it happens to you or me out there. I will say this, I was a baby boomer child, we had the best of everything there ever was. The Best music, the best car, that were metal folks, we had roller skating rinks, ice skating, dancing, played sports outside. Now a days it is all electronic lives ! TVs. Cell phones, computers, video gaming machines like X-box, Playstation, have taken over, for the newer generations. Few actually read a book, or write anymore, few build puzzles or just walk. America has become a electronic device country, people walk around staring at their cell phones, not even looking up at times. America lives on electronics and the internet, even dating wise these days. Although in recent weeks, I have read articles saying, americans are now heading back in time a bit, to speed dating meetings and meetup events. It’s hard to fake profiles or looks or education or personality faults and attitudes if you meet in person. So, hopefully that will help some. The old meeting face to face through conversation works best anyway in my mind.

As to politics, well this country is screwed up now, due to the Trump, Maga fiasco that Trump brought with him. I basically avoid anything Trump or Maga and would never vote for him, no matter what. I tire of the evils, damages, and bullshit being put out by Maga and Trump, period. Never supported him and never would. I will say this, as Trump cries election interferance, he brought it on himself. You don’t get 2 Impeachments in one term, 4 indictments, and 91 charges against you, because you did nothing wrong! I just want to say, that many prosecuters, judges,, federal and state, would not waste money or time, unless they know he is guilty period. Funny how everyone is wrong except for Trump and his people isn’t it ? If it were you or I, did all Trump did, we would be in a jail cell and never released again to the public world. try it folks, go ahead, do what Trump does, lie, cheat, steal, con others. Go ahead steal American top secret and secret documents and see what happens, lol. I dare ya !

Go stand on Capital grounds in DC and on TV and call for the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers and others to come and march on the Senate and House of Representatives. Hold a Riot, and direct them like he did and lets see, how long it takes your wrists to get cuffed and locked up. Bet it would be very fast, and you will not, be let out fast. Ask the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys and those already convicted how they feel now behind bars and charged and convicted. Go Ahead folks, ask them how they feel about doing Trump’s bidding now !

As we go forward toward the next election in November, I hope America will make the right choice once more. I know Biden is too old, but Trump is only three years younger. Age is a factor and will be, it is a fact we must deal with. If we don’t deal with it or don’t really want it, then, I would say this. We could definitely end up with a Nikki Haley or Kamala Harris as President. If we do, we won’t be the first country to have a female leader, and it may be what we need to do now.

Let me say this America, if you vote, Trump or Biden, be prepared to face the first female President. I believe nether Trump nor Biden are healthy enough at their ages to complete a full term. So, Biden already has Harris on his ticket and if Trump can’t win in the General, then Republicans will have to back Haley. The Republicans have a fiasco to overcome in Trump, his 2 impeachments, 4 indictments, 91 charges, and his loses in defamantion trials and hush money schemes, is crazy. By way of defamantion trials and cases he is also a convicted rapist, in a way. Is this the type of President American Women, want? I firmly believe there are enough Americans over all, who can see and listen to, all of this happening around Trump and all he has done, that he can’t win in 2024. Just my opinion all, if Americans actaully elect Trump again, well, lets just say, I believe we shall not be a democracy and republic anymore, start learning russian folks ! It’s sad but true, Trump will sell us out !

Online Dating, Adult or otherwise.


Online dating sites, really do not work, no matter what they base their matches on ! I have looked at many of them since I became a widower and even before. Let me say this, it matters not, for each one is set up to make money for it’s maker/ creator of course, and in the end, they exist because people, fail to communicate person toperson in today’s world.

I looked at Zoosk, Match, Our Time, for some, then I also looked at Adult Sites, figuring that may be easier, for you are dealing with people with like minded ideas. Yet, I find that is not the case either, then some one said try people your own age, and still theose sites fail also. The real question is why right, does anyone know why these dating sites charge so much, but do so little in reality?

In the end, I even looked at The Friend Finder Sites, including Adultfriendfiner. It is suppode to be for adult meetings, swingers, and sexual in nature. It advertises, itself as a way to find a partner ina Friendswith benefits situation or as a swinging situation, and it handles all sexual preferences of course, but the people who join it, end up posting nude pictures and basically texting, messaging, or chatting with one another, by way of chat rooms, or emails. The odds of meeting someone through it is slim, relaly, for, in America or across the world, peopleare scarred, hesitatant, they have anxieties, and fears and they hide behind things and avoid actually meeting anyone. You can meet someone yes, chat online, but people are critical of what you say or tell them, and they basically do not believe you are who you say you are. Why because it isa pretend world they are living in, so, the photos, and profiles are not real for about 50 percent that are in there. It’s a sad world to see actually, although some of the chatters do make friends in there, and chat on a daily basis. While the premise is good, it’s actual implimentation and how it is done is wrong and can be dangerous in today’s society. America and the world has too many predators, creeps and criminals out there, who come into these chats and dating sites, and wait to pounce or attack, those who are there. So, as the world is currently set up, dating whether on datings sites, adult or otherwise is dangerous. Today’s society, as awhole does not trust as much as they used to, and in the end dating is harder and more difficult then it has ever been in prior generations.

Some are now moving on from these dating sites to, things like Meet-Up, and events like Speed Dating and such. I have not ventured there personally, and I have not seen any data on how they work, or if they really do. I do think it is better to meet face to face in person, than it is to try to meet someone online. As children and teens we tend to meet others in public places, by playing with them in real life and that works. Yet we all fall into patterns and groups in someway do we not? We are divided by race, color, religion, sexual preferences, and so much more, education levels are included. Sadly, we also divide by age, and so much more. I don’t like your poluitics, I don’t like your skin color, etc. Personally, I hate no one, but, I have a belief, you don’t force what you prefer on me and vice versa, and we do just fine folks. When one forces others to be like them,or touch others without permission it’s wrong, and I hate anyone who touches a child in anyway, it’s just wrong morally, ethically and damaging to the child and society on a whole. They need to be jailed and punished if they do so, period.

So, let me say this, Online Dating whether Adult or not, does not work !. Today’s society, is fearful of it, it is also, being as careful as it can of course. Women fear taking chances, but so do men in their own way too. While women fear being taken advantage sexually, molested or stalked, men do too, but their worries come down to financial and more too. It is a two way street out there folks, so when we try to date because we are single, or widowed or divorced, we know we are taking a chance. That chance is in letting someone into your life and fearing they may not leave if it doesn’t work out, or menatl or even physical abuse can happen, or they want money. It’s a sad statement on society these days, the problems, complications and more, seem to multiply over time these days. So in the end what way do you go, if your single, on your own and wnat a partneror companion in the world? I wish I had the answer for all of us, but I don’t. As to social media, it broadcast much for sure, but it doesn’t bring people together and there is much bad advice in it. So, you learn to take social media with a eye on what it is saying and whethei rt fits you or those around you in anyway. Because even if Social Media is made on the purpose of good intentions, it can turn bad in many ways, privacy matters, sexual matters, political matters and attacks happen due to it. While I believe in the constitution and the first admendment in America, there are times when it protects the wrong ones, who cause more than is needed. So, the world is at a critical point as far as society should be concerned. We fear interacting with one another, because we can not judge the reaction of the other, always in the right way, the unexpected happens, anger, jealousy, attacks and self defenses that go too far. It is a part of humanity, and ho we use self-control comes into play.

My belief is dating sites can be more dangerous than helpful, unecessarily expensive also. Too many posers, fakes, liars and players and in the end predators are taking advantage of these sites. Should they exist, maybe, but, unless one extrememly careful, you can be taken, used or abused by those on them. Beware is all I can say folks.

Aging,Processes!


 Lets talk about aging, we all do it of course until we don’t, lol ! Now as we age, we tend to get smarter, and know more, but, we also, tend to either lose the physical abilities due to age and injuries, or the mental abilities due to age or disease, or some of us lose the emotional abilities we were born with, and get old and cold so to say. It is funny how it happens without us actually realizing it, but it does.

 As We age we get set in our ways and thoughts and beliefs and refuse to open up to other ideas. We learn what works for us and we stick with it, all. And that in and of itself, makes life a little easier for us as we age. Our bodies get weaker, unless we are exercise freaks and do it daily. And our minds get weaker because we are less depended on and more isolated, because of the age we reached. We get discarded in a way, for the newer generations that are behind us and when they catch up, they get the same treatment and don’t realize it is coming at them, anymore than we did at their age. It is a cycle of life we all must live through. It’s natural true, but not pleasant if you get my drift.

 When we reach a certain age, doesn’t matter which sex we be, we are set in our ways and we frown on those who are different for sure. Ever find yourself wishing you were younger or able to be more active, physically or sexually, or emotionally, and then going wow I remember that stuff? I know I do !

 I may be 68, but I am not dead yet, I still can move, I still can interact and I still can feel emotion and care, and attraction and fears. It’s just that, as we age we are more careful, we have seen and heard and done so much, we know where to avoid, dodge, run and duck so to say. Experience counts in life folks, whether it’s in games, sports, love or just laughs. We tend to know and feel what is right for ourselves and avoid those and things that aren’t, don’t we? Just because we learn, doesn’t mean we are dead and don’t want to be noticed, loved or held, or are not sexual in actions or thoughts. It just means we are not as easy and free caring as we were in our youth so to say. I hope some agree, but even if you don’t, remember we are all human we all feel and we all can be hurt ! We don’t enjoy being put down or ignored for being older either, we just want to be excepted and be included is all, we get lonely too.

 I have heard many say they like their lonely periods, they can think better, they can relax better, alone. We all get to that point in life, believe me folks. But, excessive isolation, causes problems with the human soul, and mind and being. Thats why, we always seek out things to do, places to go so we are never truley alone ? Evne the elderly, tend to end up together in Senior Centers, Concerts, resturants and more. Even if we don’t know one another personally we find the gathering and make it work somehow so we fit in, we adapt to whats there, don’t we? The human ability to adapt, is amazing really, and it works for all of us. Thank God for that at least right?

 We can’t all be rich and well to do as we age, some of us don’t reach the independent platuea so to say, We depend on our children to care for us, or end up in nursing homes or convalesent homes. Sadly, as our lives wind down, our relatives and families carry on their lives, and place us in such situations and we end up with no choice, we need to be cared for. Time stops for no one thats for sure, it’s amazing how it just keeps marching on. Yes, it’s true, The only one who messes with Father Time is Mother Nature folks, and they have one hell of a lengthy and long affair. We just live through it and watch it go by daily and happen. We benefit from it weather wise, but the constant is that time moves forward and we cycle down with age. We can’t avoid it, there is no miricle fountain of youth or elixer folks, we all face the passing of time and older age. If we survive and avoid all the pratt falls, mistakes and accidents along the way and of course we are fortunite enough to keep our sanity too. So many pratt falls and dangers in life, physically and mentally exist. I have seen then up close and personal, cancer, suicides, fires, guns, violence, accidental deaths on the roads or at events. So many things take people out, we are not super human and invinceable folks, no supermen or superwomen exist on this planet. I wish sometimes I were super, and I bet you do too, but, in the end, we must face old age and the fact we are human.

  If your lucky in life, you have at least two loves, you have had at least two special relationships, and you enjoy being with others. If your lucky you get your fair share of hapiness and love and material things you need. But, some just aren’t that lucky and they get by with less and are happy still. Remember as you age, and head down the ending slope, that it’s the interactions and the people you had them with, that makes you happy that counts, as long as they were happy too. It’s nice to be a single person, who had it all, but it all falls away if you have no one as you age. Believe me I know, I am a widower and have been now for 3 years almost, you fear involvement, you don’t want to compare someone to the one you lost or hurt them, you fear rejection, you fear the fact your aging and don’t look as good as you used to, your wrinkles show, your hair falls out, the jolt and jumps in your steps stop, and you slow to a walk then to a crawl before you fall. Gravity gets ya, anger can eat you up, inside, depression comes on and you realize at some point you have to cast it all aside and drive toward your own finish line at your own rate. It’s just a fact of humanity that we all must face, don’t we? Doesn’t matter if we are the president, or a peasant on the street, it is a fate and destiny that we all do meet, it’s called death.

 So, yes aging, is a process we all face, knowing and learning we are limited in life’s length, is just a fact we all must face. So we prepare, we save money, we buy insurance,and plots to rest. we try to make sure, we are not a burden on anyone as we age, nor do we want to impose on anyone or interfear in their lives either. So, we learn to live alone again, once we lose the one we loved. If we get divorced or our partner passes, most of us, do not rush into a new relationship for many reasons. We don’t want to compare others to the one we lost, we don’t want to be hurt emotionally, or financially, physically or mentally either. We are cautious, we are slow, to engage or open up. For once we do, we are taking a chance someone will hurt or damage or take from us, and we can’t replace or repair it. It is like a cautionary tale, in an old book or movie, me I am like one of those Grumpy Old Men from that old movie, that starred Jack Lemon and Walter Matheau lol. I putter along, I notice things, I carry on, with what brings, But, I watch from afar, and I don’t get involved, and no one notices me you see, for that is how it should be. And I am not stupid enough to think anyone would care either, all are too busy living and doing their own things. Life goes on.

  I used to think we are like the ants beneath our feet, We scurry all over the world, collecting food and what we need to survive. And below us the ants do the same. We do not know what our purpse here is anymore than they do beneath us. They have their drives and motivations and processes and we have ours. It is indeed a endless cycle of life is it not folks, you tell me !

 

 

Fates and destiny.


 Good Morning to all, who may read this, it is Friday 9 Feb. 2024. Right now it is 5;40 am and I got out of bed ten minutes ago. Mornings for me are slow and silent for I live alone, since my wife passed in August of 2021. I will say this, it takes time to adjust to being alone again after spending 28 years in a relationship. My wife, whom I miss dearly, was 16 years my senior, and many will say, how did I end up with her. For me it was after a divorce from my first wife. That divorce, made me rethink life and how cruel it can be to anyone, of either sex. Relationships are good for your health both mentally and physically actually, and keep you emotionally balanced also at times. But, when they go astray, or end, it hurts you mentally and emotionally for sure. All takes time to pull yourself back together as a person and to reassembly emotionally and mentally, I know I have lived it now, twice as far as marriage goes. The seperation, the losses can accumulate fiancially, and emotional and you tend to live on the cheap and avoid any involvement.

 I can’t say it is good or bad, that all depends on each case and the cause of it all, and how each individual really handles it. Even the best people whether male or female, who bounce back fast, realize once they do, just how hurtful they may be these divorces, or losing a lifetime partner to disease. In my case I have gone through both of the above. The hardest thing is realizing, you are not to blame in reality, but you still have suffered the losses.

We tend to pick ourselves up and move on, out of pure need and natural desires. There is the need for companionship, there is the need for physical affection and sex, there is the need in wanting to belong and caring for someone else. Some people avoid all of the above the rest of their lives and they become like me, an elder, who is ok with being a single and fear any involvement, so, we stay home alone and hide. Fears and anxieties run us basically, we fear being dumped or discarded, we fear involvement or attachment, and in today’s america, it makes us stand out.

  Once we rationalize and realize it is cheaper alone, and start doing things on our own, we begin to understand, we can do it. It isn’t neccessarily what we really want, but, we begin to accept it all. Isolating ourselves from all around us, is not being off-standish, or, being a loner or drifter, it’s self-preservation really. We do so, because we fear getting involved once more. My first marriage went 12 years ending in divorce. it took me two years before I even ventured out on my own. My Second marriage went a total of 28 years with the same woman I loved dearly, who passed from cancer. I think of her daily, miss her dearly and basically stay alone. My fears are not the same as many maybe but they exist. I fear the emotional commitment it would take to get involved again, I fear being discarded or ignored or being used by someone. I fear doing comparrisons to my deceased wife and hurting a woman, emotionally due to it. Then you add in age, I am 68, loss of looks and hair, illnesses, and you can inderstand it, if you listen. I never was Mr. Handsome, or Mr. romantic, or a giggilo, or anything along those lines. I do not have talents of singing or playing music, nor am I a physical sportsman type. So, being your average, 68 year old man with physical limitations due to disability, I basically putter along. It doesn’t mean, I do not have wants, desires and needs, it does mean, I know my own limits and difficulties in life. I have never and shall never, impose or burden another person, I do not force myself on anyone either, so, as I see it, if I feel I am not accepted, I move on. I do not force myself in groups or events, I am not invited to and usually I avoid crowds.

 It;s now been since August of 2021 I am alone in the world. I have slowly adapted to that status and accept it. Doesn’t mean I like it or enjoy it, just means you accept what life has dealt you. With age, comes medical conditions and you learn to deal with that as you can of course. In my case time shall tell what is next for me. I have lost my grandfathers to cancer, my step-father to cancer, and my mother too, and my second wife. As I was carrying for my second wife in her 16 year struggle with cancer I myself had it too, I suffered lung cancer in 2013, and lost a lobe and one third of my right lung to it. Yet I still survive today, why, I am still trying to figure out. I remember my second wife telling me I would be ok to my face, and behind my back to my sister, she said I would probally not make it. But I did, why, I do not know, yet here I be and she is gone from me. All, I have is sadness and I live through it daily the best I can and make the best I can of my life. If you lose someone, you would understand, your here, they are gone and the best you can do is carry on. Because you do not control your own fate or destiny, that belongs to someone or something of a greater power than you or me.

 I have seen people and watched people and heard of people who have taken their own lives. Depression, illness, both mentally and physically can lead to emotional breakdowns and suicides. So, I tell many the best thing you can do is stay busy, walk, find hobbies, write like me, read, try to keep busy. For when you stop, is when you are in the most danger,from depression. A busy mind and heart will keep ticking, I am not saying it is easy to do, for I know it is not. I also know the alternative is not a choice I accept at this point, so I try to push forward and hope for the best each day. Yet I also know, my own cancer can come back, and take me too. If it does, I know I have lived a pretty full life, in my own way.

  I have had a life filled with physical pain, mental pain, and emotional pain too. I have overcome and carried on through it all. I spent my childhood trying to fit in, I spent years helping my family I grew up in, even though my mother tried to cast me away. I spent my teen and formative years taking care of my younger siblings. Then I spent my 20’a and into my 30’s serving my country in three branches of service. I married and divoced and had two of everything you can think of while in service. I think I did ok, for a kid who didn’t graduate high school. I got a GED. I went on from service and divorce and having rwo children to a lonely three year period. Then I found my second wife and returned to college thanks to the Veterans administration. I got an associates degree at 40 years old folks, became a member of Honor Societies also. Won, Honors in college and an Award. Yes I did ok.

 I was a factory worker,a serviveman, did military service and more. I taught people to draw when I was younger and learn to write. I have short stories and poems I wrote online and of course my blogs I do here. Someone asked me what kind of a leagacy I may leave behind when I go, my writtings may be that, for sure. I was a father, a husband, and a friend to some. I still have two friends I met when I was 14 to this day. Life is a mystery, but, if you work at it, it can be worth the suffering, and you may enjoy it too. Always remember, we know not why we are put upon this earth or what our purpose is, but, I firmly believe, we are here for a mission or purpose we do not understand, or know of, but when we complete that unknown mission, we are recalled to where from whence we came. We just do not know, when or what that mission may be. But, it is the only logical conclusion, for me. So, I write my blogs and do my things daily that I can, it’s all part of life, as we who live it, can be, we go on to our fates and destiny.

” We shall have a republic only so long as we protect and defend it” ! 


 Feb. 7th, 2024 starts. The sun is out here in Westborough, Mass. the temps will rise the weatherman says to 41 or 42 degrees today. Time marches on, even if we age each moment, we are subject to old age, illnesses and more, yet as humans we survive, till the body fails us.

 At 68 years old I believe I have seen enough corruption, evil acts and accidents for any human being, and I tire of the bad things from it all. I just want to live my life in peace and quiet and when my time comes, I hope to pass in peace. I have done my service for my country, been injuried and I did my thing for my family and friends also. I have never been Mr. Popular so to say, I am too quiet and stay by myself, mostly.

  I can honestly say at 68 years old, I have seen enough to know, the world is cruel and humanity isn’t always nice to it We take from the planet, we destroy is natural habitant and animals and we pollute like no other species. We are the onlyspecies on the planet that destroys it’s own enviroment, and each other. Sometimes i wonder, what humanities purpose is on this planet, but I mostly wonder daily what my own purpose here is. Yet we wake up each day, and do not know why, we just do our own thing and live among our own kind. It’s a crazy fact is it not?

 I watch as the world turns so to say, and wonder how far humanity can go before we destroy ourselves or our enviroment we live in. Or even both at some point, as I see wars raging across the globe, and self-destructive tendies in mankind. Thank God there is some of himanity, that are not idiotic enough to kill themselves off as a species. We suffer our own injuries and affrimities daily and we fight to survive through illnesses, injuries and political conditions that we do not need to self-inflict upon ourselves. Too many Americans are easily led astray and into backing individuals who are dangerous and deadly to the one thing American’s prize, first, most of all, our own freedoms, our constitution and our laws we created. We deal with politicians who want to tear down democracy and our republic and that is scarey and dangerous period.

 I have now seen, Americans foolish enough to support Donald J. Trump and his MAGA movement and his wanting to be President again. Let me say this in plain english folks, Donald J. Trump does not belong anywhere near the White House or any other office in America. He is dangerous, unstable, criminal and cares not what you or I want, he is interested in getting the Presidency, just to stay out of prison himself, period. He knows he did wrong he is not totally an idiot, but he is a autocratic player on the world stage. We don’t need a dictator, for even one second, minute or day. Wake up folks please !

 As the year moves on and primaries are completed, I just can not believe the Republican Party can’t find a better candidate then Donald J. Trump. The Republican Party needs to realize, you are going to run a criminal for president period.He has lost so many times it is sad to see, yet, republicans want to keep him on the ballot, why? What are the Republicans thinking here ? I wish to tell the Republicans, the end of the MAGA Movement and Donald J. Trump is close at hand. America can not afford him as President again. The danger is too extreme for me to consider.

 I don’t care who is elected President, as long as it is not Donald J. Trump! He has failed at everything he has ever done in his life. He takes great chances in all he does and he is a vile, uncoth, assine individual, yet, people run to kiss his ass, stop it !

 Lets, keep Trump away from the Presidency, he doesn’t even understand it is an office, in government. Why, can’t you understand if your Trump, that they call it The Office of the President, which means the Presidency is an Office and they are a Officer of the country we live in. It is disturbing to me, when we need a court to tell us when a President has done wrong or criminal acts. It is plain to see Trump has, and in my opinion he neeeds banned from the presidency or any official office, period. You can’t seriously, believe he is innocent in anyway. For a man who swore to Protect and Uphold the Constitution of The United States at his swearing in, who started an insurrection, and riot in the capital and tried to overturn the electorial votes, you saw it on TV on Jan. 6th he must be banned from the ballots for the good of the country. If he get elected again, we should just start flying a communist flag. It’s sad indeed.

 The media bears some responsibilty here also. They give Trump their air waves and allow him to do and say what he wants, and he has brainwashed a large part of the Ameirican people. I think the media is trying to report it all and they are failing in one way. They continue to give Trump full coverage and braodcast his mantra everyday. By doing so, you are supporting what he does. Period. No President in America History has done as many criminal acts as Donald Trump has. So wake up Media outlets, newscasters, Trump is dangerous !

 I wll not list all of Trump’s crimes here, for they don’t all apply to the upcoming Election in 2024. What concerns me is; The Riot and Insurrection on January 6th. His calling of the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and others to the capital. His instruction to them to march down to the capital and stop the electoral votes from being certified. His taking of all the Top Secret and Secret documents to Mar A Lago, his home. His attempt at false electoral votes and disregarding the people’s votes, ultimately. No President has even had 2 Impeachments in one term, 4 Indictments and 91 charges, ever.

 What would the Founding Fathers of America do with the Donald J. Trump ? What do you think Washington, Adams, Franklin, Jefferson, and the rest of the Founding Fathers would have done? My belief is a simple one in this case. The Founding Fathers would deny Trump from the presidency or any public office. They would have also, done to Trump what they did to Benedict Arnold, cast him from our shores and refuse to take him back. But if they had caught Trump, or Arnold in the past, they would have tarred and feathered him and put him on a pole. Donald J. Trump is a criminal, a crook, a sexual harrasser and a rapist. But of all the crimes he is charged with, his greatest is the Insurrection against the government he was sworn to protect and defend. His participation in the fake electoral, votes scheme, is a larger than life bold attempt at overturning our democratic process and republic. And, I tell all I know, what Ben Franklin said after the Constitution was signed still applies here, ” We shall have a republic only so long as we protect and defend it” ! Never forget Americans, We The People are in charge not the President, The Congress or Government. In the end, Americans must decide if we preserve and protect our form of Governement, or we surrender it to an Autocrat, or communist or criminal like Donald J. Trump ! If you want to stay a republic and a democracy, you must not vote Trump or MAGA. Wake up Please.

 

 

Just a fact all!


 Feb. 5th, 2024, has begun and the sun is out for a change, but the cold continues on. The weather is normal for this time of year actually, if you live in New England, of USA.

  Now at 68 years old, I wonder what can be ahead of me, or next in my life. I have been pretty lucky so far, I can honestly say. But, what it leads to or how my life goes from here on in, is hard to know. I never expected many things in my life, so, I am lucky to survive many things. Yet, I also know, whatever is next for me, I must confront and work thru and make it work in a positive manner for me. For as I know, I don’t need bador megative things nea ror around me. Best to skip the drama and crazy interactions that can occur if you fall for them. Use past experience to steer around it all is what I say.

 Now, I sometimes wonder how we got where we are these days, concerning interactions and communications in life. Today everything is a e-mail. or text or online like chat programs. The fact that face to face meetings do not happen much is no surprise. Most meetings or even dates these days between sexes, happen online in one way or another. The wall ofprotection it provides is pretty good, but, it also stops actually in person contacts. Seems that online dating sites are what people are doing these days. Create a profile, fill it in, and then search fora match. Pretty informal, and sad if you ask me. But it is the growing fad these days. The sad part is that people are doing so over the internet, and real life meetings are just a tease in reality, people have fears, and anxieties and I don’t blame them. For fears can go from the point of crazies online who are killers, to fears and anxieties, of what can happen, even is people do meet in a public place. Then we run into the loneliness syndrome, in America and the world in general. I saw a sign online one day that says it all to me, it read; Start doing meetings with people the old fashioned way, in person and actually talking, face to face, it works better. You know, go out, and havea drink in a bar and talk to people. Yet, when you do it, you willnotice as I did, few peopleactually talk toa single man or woman in aclub, bar / tavern. Why, because, if your new to that bar, or tavern/ club, it takes numerous times being there for peopleto even talk to you, they stay with those they know and avaoid the new. So, it becomes a circle really, you jump in an dgive it a try and it doesn’t work, so the loneliness syndrome continues on. You can’t break the syndrome in today’s society, why, again,it is fear, anxietires thayt raises itself each time you make or take a chance. Self-preservation comes into effect, and we steer clear of strangers, and the cycle goes on. The cynical reactions and views, come into play and people, avoid taking chances these days. Why, because many want money, many fear being hurt, and many live out their anxieties, and determine it’s easier to saty alone. Sad I knowbut true in today’s world, in Ameica.

 I personally, have surrendeed and given up at my age of 68. While Senior Centers are nice if your into them, it is not a great way to find apartner in crime so to say. Bars and taverns are not made for the elderly, they are made for the younger crowds, in their 20’s to 50’s. But, olde rpeoplelike myself have no place to go, to meet anyone. So it is an endless cycle, with no end in sight. So, dating in your 50’s and up gets tougher as you age, and many turn to internet dating sites, like Zoosk, Match and Plentyof Fish and others. I can tell you, they cost money to even use, nothing is free. Then there is no proof or guarantee that you will find anyone to even date or meet. Many fake profiles, lot sofl ying, old pics and dead profiles on these sites also. It’s acually a sad state of affairs for most. Dating sites are ok if you have money and want to give to them for helping you, but they suck your money out of you. They are not, free nothing in life is, is it?

 Well as the day gets going here, I wonder what it can bring for each of us. I don’t know and neither do you ! Surprises pop up, we run into blockades and keep going. We tend to work around them and carry on. Unless, your like me, alone, and afraid to go out and do anything, why, well at 68 noone wants an eldery person slowly them down or hindering them, or becoming a burden or imposing upon them and their lives. So, many like myself, don’t want pity, we don’t want to be a burden or impose and we have our own pride, so we stay alone. Life does indeed slow down as we age. The energy you had in younger ages, has been used up and you coast to your ending, as you go forward alone. It is funny how it isa cycle that goes from being born alone, being alone when you start and then finding so many years later, that you will more than likely go out as you came into the world alone. Thats where it is in life folks. The downhill ride begins, and you just go along, for you have no choice. Just a fact all!

 

 

What is the lesser of two evils between Joe Biden and Donald J. Trump?


 Feb, 2nd, 2024, It is time for Americans to face some facts and then to choose, by November 2024, the lesser of two evils so to say ! Lets talk about what I see and many Americans see as the inevidiable rematch, between President Joe Biden and Donald J. Trump and what the results can mean for the country as a whole. Now, before I begin, let me make something clear for all who read this, I am doing so as an opinion, not, as a political supporter in anyway. While myown preference will come out here, I will not force my opinion on anyone.

 As 2024 is rolling out, and we slowly but surely roll toward the next election, we face the war in Ukraine, we face the war in Gaza and what they shall mean to the world as a whole. It means do we support Ukraine in the future and Israel also. For if one man is elected he will stop that support and if the othe ris elected he will continue the support we are giving. So, that is just one of the big decisions to face for all of us. Then attach the border problem and what to do next there and how each would handle it, and it makes all decisions rougher than Americans have faced ever before.

  The American Economy comes up as a subject and has a place in our swcision also, is it turning around and getting better or isn’t it. Which man, Biden or Trump is better for it also comes into play, does it not? I think it does, for it is will I havea job and be able to afford to support my family properly! For me I want to know who is goingto help us Veterans, and keep us above water and living decently and care for our injuries, disabilities and medical conditions too.

  SO, many other things come into play also as we go forward. But, I can not include all in this blog, for mention. What we need to do is decide which man, will be best for American, it’s people, it’s security, it’s economy, and how the world looks at us and what we do in it. As I do and I stop and think on all in the world, I find Donald J. Trump the most destructive and dangerous man in America at this time. If he is elected again to the Presidency, the first thing we all have to remember is he refused to concede the election he lost in 2020. The danger of him doing so again is major, and can Americans afford a President who will act as a dictator, even for a day? I think not, I don’t care if he says he will not do it for real.

  Let me say this clearly, I would take President Joe Biden over Trump any day of the week, 24/7 ! Donald J. Trump is a con man, a liar, and so much more that is wrong with mankind in general. He failed in so many areas that he should not even be considered as Presidential material or allowed on any ballot in America. We have had 46 Presidents to date folks, none have caused riots and insurrection at our capital or asked known organizations to gather in Washington and attack the capital at his asking. None have take secret and top secret documnets home and hid them and refused to give them back. Why did he do so and who did he show them to? That is the start of all of this, Donald J. Trump was the only President to be Impeached twice in one term, indicted 4 times, and to face 91 charges in courts. He is accussed of raping women, harrassing them and now ordered to pay out a total of 88,3 million so far, by courts to said woman, E. Jean Carroll. Yet Americans, some of them, still wnat this man as President, what for? I remeind all also, Donald J. Trump is the only President in American history to go before NATO and get laughed at. It is a sad sight at see in American history. No one is regarded worse in American History than Trump will be in the future, with one exception, and his name is Benedict Arnold ! In Arnold’s case he gave information to the Brittish, changed sides and served the Brittish in the Revolutionary War that gave birth to our country. Arnold was named a traitor and ended up dying in England. WHat do you think The Forefathers of America, would do with DOnald J. Trump today, if they were here. What would Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Franklin and more say and do about Donald J. Trump? My answer is simple, they would have hunted him down, and tar and feathered him on a post, till he died. And they would have been correct in doing so, in my opinion.

 No I am not telling Americans to do so, I am giving my opinion of what theFore-fathers of America would do. You can not take secret and top secret documents, you can not cause a riot and insureection and call for tose people to attack the capital and think real Americans will allow it to happen. Look, Trump cares not about America, he care about Trump period. He isn’t running to help the country, he is running to avoid prison only. The only way he stays out of prison is to win the presidency, so he can pardon himself for acts he committed as President. If the American Justice system, is doing it’s job, New York will ban Trump and his Organization from operating in it’s borders as a state. He has to pay out a total of 88.3 million already to one woman he harrassed and raped. Does America really want a rapist, an accussed traitor and insurerectionist to run it, and be in charge, when he is saying he will be a dictator even for one day or minute. What do you believe now?

 If you are a part of MAGA, and a Trump follower, you in my opinion have either been brainwashed or are blind to the above facts I mentioned. But, besides that, if you object to my opinion, tell me your reasons for backing Trump for President ? Tell me what he did, while President that was good for America ? I don’t want to hear he built the wall, he didn’t, I don’t want to hear he passed a great tax bill either, For the tax bill he passed only help him and his rich cronnies not the average american who is middle class of lower. This man stood on public television, during the height of covid and told americans to drink bleach to get rid of it. He hid his own infection from covid from the American people, the best he could, until he couldn’t. Lets be real folks ok ! Please !!!

 I remind all also, there is only a few years difference in ages between Trump and Biden. BIden is more experienced, more stable and smarter then Trump in all ways in my opinion. Some want to look at the age difference and say that is a problem for Biden it isn’t, both are in the same status in my opinion. Age is a factor period for both not just one. Trump loses it as much as Biden does. Period.

 In the end, if these are the two candidates for President on the November ballot for President in America, I do not see Trump winning, it can’t happen. There is far too many legal battles he must face, one conviction and it is done. States want him off the ballot under the Constitutions Forth Admendment, and I agree with them.

 Trumps wants to claim the admendment does not apply in his case for the Presidency is not covered by it. I submit folks, he was an Officer of the united States he held the Office of the Prsidency, he took the oath tpo protect and defend it. That alone covers him and the presidency for as all Americans know, we refer to the Presidency as the Highest Office in the land and call it The Office of the Presidency do we not?  So, yes it is indeed an Office held and he is an Officer of the country.
