Hello January, 1st, 2024, the new Year has arrived! What the New Year shall bring for me I have no idea, I believe that is true for billions world-wide also, inclusing the animals of our planet too. We can not predict the future, what shall happen is beyond our capabilities to understand or to change. The world is not ours to shape, except to do our best to preserve it.

 Each day, we live is a blessing for each of us, I know, because, I am now 67 and soon to be 68 if I get there, this month. Each day I open my eyes, I wonder why I am still here on this planet, whats my purpose, what am I supposed to be doing and I end up, doing each day like the last. I have learned in my life that destiny and fate control me more than I do myself. Yes, there is nothing much left if you have no one else to live for, the loss of my wife in August of 2021 was a major loss in m life. I miss her voice, her smile, her laughter, her straightening me out. Her touch, her warmth, her kindness, and in the end her companionship in all ways. If you find someone who fullfills all of the above for you in your life, don’t let them go, for they bring joy, love, happiness and most of all that companionship,we all need. Yes, I do miss my deceased wife, I struggle daily without her, I sometimes talk to her and to myself about her in private. But, this is not something that is strange, many of us do the same, when it comes to our deceased spouses, I am sure.

  Anyway, time waits for no one as we all know it shall roll on and on, and we as human being only have so much time on this planet. We grieve for thise we have lost, we struggle through the emotional turmoil and pain, and we attempt to keep going is all. It’s what we all have to do, isn’t it?

 Now, I realize she is gone and have for sometime now, and yes life is lonely, it can get depressing and all one can do is press on through, the alternative is not a choice. Some will commit suicide, the depression and loss and grief, gets to all of course. The fact is, those who do give up in such a fashion, leave behind others they affect greatly too. They just don’t realize it when they do it, and are so depressed they can’t handle life anymore and want to say goodbye. It is a struggle for me I must admit, but, I can’t see me, myself, going in such a way.

As to the future and what 2024 will bring or not bring for me, I do not know. I doubt it will be a ride on a roller coaster or a ferris wheel type thing. Will there be happiness I do not know,will there be a new woman in my life, a lover, a friend ? I have my doubts thats for sure, I never was a social butterfly type and as we age we get older, set in our ways, we don’t get more handsome o rprettier we wrinkle and we seem to just keep plodding ahead. Our bodes are not what they used to be, our vision starts to fade, and we become elderly, and slower and care less what others think of us. LOL!

  I have learned that, as we age,society begins to push us aside, ageism is indeed a factor ! For no where you go, is american society set up for the elderly at all. Yes we have handicapped parking, and electric doors, but there is no place for the elderly to meet others in their own age ranges. So, we muddle through,we hunt, we peck, we look for places to go to enjoy the golden years of our life. Some go traveling, with their partners or loved ones, but what of the elderlies like me who are alone? What do we do? We go day by day, night by night alone, end up building puzzles, reading books, watching tvs, playing on computers or video games. We walk for exercise, and we tend to stay alone, because we are scared of getting involved with anyone else, rejection in your 60’s is no fun folks ! Dating apps cost money, everything you do in life cost money to do. We can’t afford to play that game and many of us who are elderly, realize the cost of dating apps, we also realize those who are on them, can scam you, take your money, and can be cruel and mean too. So, I tried them and then, I walked away from them, too dangerous in my opinion, we elderly are on set incomes and limited by that also and we can’t afford to blow wha money we have, we must live. While people in general want to live till they hit 100, trying to get there can be be a bitch so to say. So, we go day by day, try to avoid going broke, or losing what we have and pray our health holds on.

 I personally have faced cancer in my life, and I don’t know if I may have it again right now. Coughing is a bad sign for a lung cancer survivor, and I have been doing so for a over a week now. I am lucky I am a Disabled Veteran and can go to Doctors to get checked for free. I have somethings being done, my teeth are being rebuilt, my eyeglasses have been ordered and the VA will scan my lungs come January 23rd, to see if I am ok. My Medications come from the VA. and all my healthcare. Time shall tell what is next, I just try to get out of bed each day, have my coffee and thank god my eyes opened and I can walk and talk still. We face not only old age, declining health these days as we age, but there is covid, RSV Flu, Pnumonia and more. We all try to stay safe, keep warm, stay away from others who are sick, but it does become a cycle of isolation to survive. It’s a Catch 22 situation, that all of us have to face and deal with daily.

  We do tend to face the addition of what the medical community and government are now calling the Loneliness Syndrome. Many Americans and people across the world are facing it too. Society it seems has become a problem unto itself. We avoid contact due to covid and other illlnesses. Then, we avoid contact out of fear of rejection, being taken avantage of, scams and more. We do so, to protect ourselves and that is normal in many cases and most cases, but it harms each of us, because isolation, leads to depression and more. I am not a Doctor folks, nor aspecialist in any medical or mental field of healthcare, but, I am smart enough to see, that all this seperation and isolation is not good for you or for me. People tend not to talk to one another anymore and that is sad in this world. How to change it, I don’t have the answer, not even Doctors and Specialist do. Recommendations are that we all try to be more friendly,we should all talk at least, for no communication, kills. Yet, many ofus go, if I say something will I get in trouble, will it cause a fight or scene, I don’t need to get involved, etc. And we tend to keep our distance as I said, out of fear, anxieties and more. Is there a way to overcome it all, I have no idea and I don’t think many do either, sadly, this is not the 40’s, 50’s or even the 60’s 0r 70’s in America. Our solution is it seems e-mails, electrionic devices, computers, cell phones, but, does anyone else see like I do, that that is not the same as, when we were kids. We played with one another outside, now, kids stare at tv screens, adults have joined in on cell phones, it’s like we are all being programmed these days. It is indeed sad, is modern tech now taking over our lives and are we being programmed by it all? I find it to be a very interesting question, for human beings world wide to consider now. Is the age of electronic communication,and gaming in general, including cell phones, computers, gaming conseoles, television, taking over and controlling us? Or are we controlling it, or is there something to it all.? How dangerous is it all ? I think the parents of the 50’s and 60’s were right, go play outside with others, society worked so much better back then.

 As we begin 2024, we must begin to ewalize, wars are bad, food is shorta nd so is water in reality, we are using up the resources of our planet and atmosphere at a deadly rate. You can not keep taking from thenatural resources with out giving them time to replenish,just as you cannot keep eating everything in sight and expect it to be there if you don’t plant or raise it. Species are dying out, oceans are rising, and instead of mankind doing something toprotect itself and change the worldand enviroment, we are destroying one another and killing each other, wake up ! Death, destruction has to stop, the enviroment must be cleaned up for mankind to survive. Takea good look around folks, temperatures are rising, water supplies dwindling, oceans are rising, and icebergs are melting. Elephants and tigers and lions and more are dying out or being slaughtered and species disappear and no one cares it seems. Wake up, Mankind isthe only species on thisplanet that is destroying it’s own climate, envoroment and world, and in the end, if it doesn’t stop, we shall be barren and a wasteland on earth, just like Mars !

 Welcome to 2024, the real concerns, need faced. We also, should never allow, oneperson,or many people of a group, or political party of bend, to destroy democracy, our country this republic of America. I pray, that America can stay a republic, a democracy and a leader in the world. We don’t need criminals, running it, and the laws we live by, apply to all of us. I know we are now in an Election Year in America, let me say this, if America as a country,wants to survive, exist, lead and not be laughed at, we need to end The Trump Movements, End MAGA, stop letting one man, destroy the very fabric of pur Republic, Our Democracy, our Nation ! You can agree or disagree, on the political points and matters facing us all, yet, in the end, I pray America is smart enough, adult enough, to stop Trump, and his movement now. For in the end,no man or woman is above the laws of this land, he doesn’t belong in the White House, he is destructive to our nation. Period.

 And that is my opinion, thoughts as we begin 2024 ! I pray, it shall be better than all the years before it for all Americans and Mankind too !

 Lets examine Donald J. Trump more closely please. Lets go back to New York, New York for starters. His own home state where he was born and raised can’t stand him, he cheated contractors out of money paying them only pennies on the dollar for so many years, and got away with it. He lies about how hw got his money, his Father left him millions.

 This man failed to sell water under his name, steaks too. He rages and scrwews about immigrants entering America or attempting to, yet everyone one of his wives, came from overseas. Be Real here ok.

 Now he Promised to build a wall on the Mexican / American Border and said Mexico would pay for it. How did that turn out? It didn’t happen,Mexico laughed at him and the wall never got built. He passed a tax bill yes, but that tax bill never touched or helped middle or below Americans, it only helped himself and his rich co-horts. Now let me ask you to tell me anything he did for America or it’s people that was any good period in his term in office? Nothing, Nada, not a damn thing.

 He embarrassed America during Covid and told Americans to drink bleach, a posionious substance , to rid themselves of covid, on public TV. That isn’t Presidential or intelligent at all. He embaressed us in Russiam kow-towing to Putin and then did the same in South Korea with Kim. He was laughed out of the United Nations in his one appearance there. These are facts folks no lie mind you !

He lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden by about 80 million votes ! Then he denied he lost, would not concede, put together aplan tpo stay in office, caused an insurrection, encouraged it, led it, and the riot at the capital. Destroying Government property by way of it all in the process. He then put together a plan, to create fake electors and tried to use said fake electors and fake ballots to try to stop the certification of Biden’s win. He tried to stay in office against the American People’s decision and votes folks. He tried to disregard the votes of seven states full of millions of people. Stop and think about all of the above, be realistic folks !

 Now he wants to be able to run for Re-Election to the Presidency, and win? He has stated openly, he didn’t lose in 2020 he did. He openly states he wants to act asa dictator his first days in office, do you seriously belive he would stop once there, no he won’t. Look, if he is Reelected and allowed to get the Presidency again, there will be no more republic, nomore democracy, there will be a dictatorship in America. Realize it now, he is dangerous period. He is unstable, he sounds like a Nazi, in everything he says.

 Now he is crying because Colorado and MAine banned him from their ballots for 2024 and of course he will keep appealing those, decisions. Anything to delay his 91 charges and 4 Indictments from being put to trial and decided. To all the so called Trump Supporters/ MAGA people, he cares not about any of you, he fears going to prison for his crimes. He doesn’t want to do a damn thing for any of you, he wants to be President to Pardon himself and get rid of all the charges against him, thats it. Wake up !

  Go ask the Proud Boys Oath Keepers and others who sit in prison now, for doing what he asked and told them to do at the Capital how they feel now. They are serving terms in prison, have been convicted as felons and have lost the right to vote. Do you really believe they are happy about it? I doubt it, he ruined their lives. He tore down Rudy Guillani too, Rudy is laughed at, he is broke, lost his law licence and has to pay millions to people he defamed for Trump. Rudy is destroyed and done now, and he lost it all backing Trump, shielding Trump, saying what Trump told him to and acting like an ass. Sadly, Trump shall go on though won’t he Rudy, he still has millions and his freedom, you won’t soon enough. If you don’t get jailed, you will die broke Rudy.

 Now Maine and Colorado decided Trump cannot be on their ballots, so they bannedhim based on the 14th Amendment, section 3. Other states are joining the fight to remove him from the ballots of 2024. He cries it is unfairand the voters should determine it all. He thinks he is right and can do as he pleases, no matter how many laws he broke while in office. He wants to cry about it all, delay all, in anyway he can, and thinks the states are wrong. Maybe yes, maybe no, we shall see.

 Yet I remind all states, and The Supreme Court, Trump engaged in an Insurrection, he incited a riot, he set up fake electors and fake elector ballots, he almost got his own Vice President killed on January 6th. He wasn’t worried about the rights of the millions upon millions in the seven states he created fake electors in was he. What about their rights, did he have a right to disregard their votes and voices ?. No he didn’t and he didnt care either, his worry was staying in power and the Presidency, period. I hate to tell Trump this he has no imminity for crimes he coducted in the Presidency. He is not being served double indemity either, the Impeachments are political, the crimes are breaking thelaws of the land and country and constitution. Neithe rhas anything to do with the other.

 I have advice for The Supreme Court of The United States, stay out of it, you should not overturn the State Courts or States period. They have a right to read and interpt the Constitution of America and their states in the way they wish. The Secretary of States have the right, to do so, Trump wants to appeal fine. The Supreme Court should stay out just on the basis of looking like they are favoring Trump, because he put them on the bench for life. The Supreme Court rules for Trump, they will definitely look baised for Trump. As to what they will do or decide, I will say this, if they go in Trump’s favor they will anger many, if they go the other way they will also anger many. I believe each state should be able to determine who can be on any ballot in their state. I remind all each state is sovergien in it’s own right. It’s amazing we have gotten to thispoint, and it has gone on for this long. The Republicans should have stopped this long ago, as a Party, The Republicans are self destructing themselves. The two party system in America is getting killed over this. It will destroy America.

 

 

 December 28th, 2023, is here. Now, before I start what I am about to say, I want all Americans and people who read this blog to understand, I have no dog or horse in the current political fight for the Presidency in America. By that I mean I am not a paid supporter of any of them, whether they be Democratic or Republican or Independent. This is not about picking a candidate for the Presiency, or anyother office in our United States of America. This is about outlandish, foolish, and false statements about American History, that have come out now regarding the Civil War in America, and what started it or did not start it. I know, some will say I am defending Nikki Haley, I am not, nor am I defending the man who posed the question to her, about the Civil War. I do oppose both answers in my own way.

 The American Civil War was not started over slavery. It was indeed as Nikki Haley said started for many reasons. 1) Economic Differences between the North and The South, 2) State Rights to run their own states in the fashion and manner they wished both economically and politically. 3) The Election of Abraham Lincoln to the Presidency, who was largely opposed by the Southern States and their People because of his views on slavery. Yet, in the end, there were other factors involved also. The crossing of state lines by slaves at the time was a major factor as they crossed into northern territories to escape their enslavement, for one.

  Let me explain one other thing before all the nay sayers, politicians or anyone else who wishes to raise their voice against me here, I have no dog in this race for the presidency, but I will be damn if the person, who poised the question was correct in pointing out the Civil War was about Slavery it wasn’t originally. Read your history correctly Americans and that includes African Americans too. The slave problem was not the reason for the Civil War, yet it later turned to the slaves being freed, by Abraham Lincoln making it so. Always remember, Lincoln always believed till the day he died all men were created equally and he was and still is correct to this day. Yet he did not include freeing the slaves until later in the war, when after careful thought on the matter, he came to the conclusion he did and wrote the Emancipation Declaration on a train during his run for election. So please do not, tell the American People the Civil War was only about Slavery, and that caused it, it didn’t. The result of the removal of slavery, the ending of it was the one of the results of said War. Sadly, Americans of all colors and races and ethicalities, wish to distort or twist this for their own purposes, it can’t be so done. So, in fact Nikki Haley was correct to state it was economic differences and states rights that started the Civil War. As to the Slavery question. all Americans now know Slavery was wrong , and NIkki Haley did not say anything about it because she is walking a political tightrope here,and yes she is trying to please all the people she can. That is where she went wrong here. Don’t condemn her for it, correct her yes, but, don’t condemn.

  Before I finish this, I want to show the American People there is a parallel to today’s Politics in this whole item of the Civil War. That is this State’s Rights is once again, an issue that is comming up now. It is rising due to the issue of Former President Donald J. Trump and his inclusion or removal from the Presidential Ballots in all States in the 2024 election Cycle. As Colorado investigated the issue of Insurrection by Donald Trump and determined in their state, he supported and conducted such on Jan, sixth, they removed him from their ballots. Now, does not each state in the United States have their own soverien rights and their own laws and State constitutions they can abide by? Do they not have a right to say as a state, we do not believe this man or woman should be allowed on our ballots, due to crimes or acts they committed they believe disqualify him? I believe they do ! So again, America is about to face an issue over states rights once more, like we did in the Civil War days.

 The Supreme Court of The United States will more than likely be handed this issue soon enough. If they are as smart as they should be, as Justices and Scholars, that they are, they should know they must sidestep this issue and leave it to the states. Each State has a Govenor and a Secretary of State, and they control the elections and ballots and the laws as to who can be on them state by state. Any interference by the Supreme Court in this matter, regarding the removal of a candidate from a state’s ballot is no business of said Supreme Court. Any other choice by The Supreme Court, except their refusing to take up the case would be wrong. I don’t care if it is being brought to them by a Special Prosecutor, Trump’s Defense Team of Lawyers or any State. The issue of who is allowed on any ballot in any state, belongs to the state period. Otherwise you are affecting the state laws and the state’s sovergeinty, which has now been determined for over 200 years, goingon 300 years in our country.

 I remind all that Colorado did not take the step to remove Trump from the ballot in their state, on minor issues or false ones. They hald a trial and examined his actions on January 6th, and found him to be a part of said actions, riots and the insurrection against our country, based on evidence not heresay! Then, they determined under their state laws, he is illegible to run for President or any public office. It was not a simple decision by the Colorado State Supreme Court. If it is overturned by the Supreme Court, they are taking away the rights of the People of Colorado to control their own state. They are also, saying that Trump is immune from prosecution, because he was President of the United States, if that is so, then any President or person who is elected President can commit crimes while in office and get away from them, including stealing from the government, killing people, political espionage and more. It means a Presdeint can sell out to Russia and be immune and get away with it. That is crazy to believe in a nation that is run on the basics of law and rights, and equality for all !. I remind all NIxon was wrong. Then we come to his being Impeached twice while in Office as a defense against being charged for crimes he did while in Office. This matter can be solved by a quick look at the reasons for Impeachment and that is purely for political purposes not criminal according to the way the laws are written. And no man is above the law and that Includes the President if he commits crimes in Office. There is no double idemity here at all. they are two seperate types of solutions for two different reasons. One is criminal the other political read them. Sadly, America, has to wake up to the fact, Donald J. Trump is a danger to the country, it’s integerity, it’s continued existance and so much more. Justice must be brought to bear for what he did on January 6th, if it is not, then I ask, What does it mean for the future of America and The American Presidency? Does this not bring upthe question of what future Presidents can do while in office and get away with ? I remind all, if this is allowed forTrump and he is not held accountable and given immunity, doesn’t that mean all future Presidents can do the same? Where does that then leave the country in how to stop future criminal acts by future and current Presidents?

  In Closing this blog and conversation for today, I want to remind all, no one in American History, has ever gotten away with taking secret documents and above home. No one in American History as a President has ever, incited a riot and insurrection against their own government and should either. I remind all, in History we must go back to before our nation was established to find a person who even thoughtof such acts or tried such acts in America. His name was Benedict Arnold, and he was a traitor who the American Governement and it’s First President Washington, wanted to capture and hang. He escaped to England aswe all know. In the end he died a sad death in England, crying out as he lay dying in his American Uniform, he regretted what he did and he wanted to come home. He never did. There are those who are saying they will leave America if Trump is not elected President again, including Trump himself I have heard rumored. My opinion is simple, if you can’t see what Trump has done and won’t accept his not being elected then do what Arnold did leave. Go ahead, see what other country, will take you and treat you better than America has. I wish you luck if you leave. As to Donald J. Trump leaving if he loses, as has been said, I hope he finds a country that will take him. Maybe Russia or South Korea will, I do not know. However it ends, I knowin my opinion, DOnald J. Trump should never be allowed anywhere near the White House or any public office in America again, the damage he has down is far beyond any would of thought of.

 

 December 27, 2023, as the political climate in America heats up and the Justice System gets involved, there has to be a solution to the mess, that occurred during The Trump Administration and his Presidency. The election itself was a loss for Trump period and America knows it as a whole and those who argue it, otherwise, are playing a very dangerous game. The danger is that if they suceed, they will turn america away from being a republic and a democracy and steer the nation to audicracy, communism, and dictatorship status. Now, let me say this so all MAGA Republicans and Trump himself understands it clearly. We do not need a President who, committed insurrection against his own country and his own administration. We do not need a President who lied and lies daily about winning the 2020 election. We have our voting systema nd election system, it was established well before Trump was born or existed. The ForeFathers of America who set up the GOvernement we live under, wrote, produced and established our constitution would roll over in their graves if they knew what is happening now. They gave their lives, and took their chance to create this nation.

  As Benjamin Franklin said after the SIgning of the Constitution and Declaration of Independence, ” “We shall only have a republic and democracy as long as we fight for one and mainntain it !” I ask America, what do you think The Forefathers of America, Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, Adams and more would say of an American President who led a riot, and insurrection, against the government they created and the Nation they fought to create. History shows only on eman you can compare Trump to, his name was Benedict Arnold. He sold information to the Brittish during the Revolutionary War. What Happened to Arnold, simple, he ran, joined the Brittish and when America won it’s Independence he was forced toleave America and died in Brittan. He died I remind all, crying he was sorry for what he did and wearing his American Uniform, not his Brittish one. Shamed, Cast out and America never forgave him and still will not forgive him. Trump has done basically the same thing, his ties to Putin and South Korea’s Leader show that. Did Trump sell us out to China, Russia and South Korea, did he pass documents and secrets? Is he really as Hillary Clinton said, Putin’s Puppet, time shall tell on those counts I am sure.  Then you add in the facts of leading a riot, directing that riot to the capital, trying to overturn an election he lost outright by 8 million vote sor so, well it’s crazy he is even free, never mind running for President again ! Why don’t Americans understand what he is doing here?

 Listen to me, he lied about how he became rich, his daddy left him millions. Helied to contractors all his life hiring them, and paying them pennies on the dollar for their labor and supplies. The People of New York even hate him and he was born there. He failed to sell water, he failed to sell steaks and he tried to create a fake University, and take people’s money. And thats before he was President or a politician. Wake up !

 He cries against immigration, swears he will stop it and deport millions of people, well, his own wives all were from overseas and he married them. Wake up folks, he will say and do anything he can to try to stay out of prison. He deserves to be in prison for all thr illegal acts he has done.

  Insurrection, riot, destruction of the capital. Stealing Federal Top Secret and Secret Documnets, storing them in Mar A Lago his private estate. What did he take them for, who did he show them to, and why did he refuse and avoid, to return them? He has no real defense against any of these offenses against the nation. This man is being sued for sexual harrassment, attacking women, there are photos of him dancing with 13 year old girls at Epstien events. Sad indeed !!!

  His rants on the stage as a political candidate are as insane as they come, He rants against the governemnt, the current Presidnet, then rants against the JUstice System, the charges against him, the Prosecutors and Judges too ! He tell all of hisenemies who disgaree with him to Rot in Hell on Social Media to rile up his supporters it is crazy. Yet, the Republican MAGA crowd back him still and The Republicans are too scarred to say one word against him. That tells me the Republican Party is scarered of Trump and i wonder what kind of blackmailing he is doing to them, to keep them inline. It is a sad, sad world today for Americans to see, as Republicans clamor and kiss Trump’s ass, the question is why?

  Before Trump, we had a better climate for politics, less lies and cheating and a more peaceful nation. I want all to remember, this is a man who as President, stood on television, and told Americans to drink bleach, to beta covid ! He was the President at the time, and he told Americans this, bleach is posion folks and he knows it, yet drinl bleach to kill covid right? Be realistic here folks, this is a man who saisd he was eductaed, yet he told peopleto drink bleach. He went tpo Russia to meet Putin, and refused to allow anyone to record the conversations or into to the meetings. He cowtowed to Putin, he kowtowed to Kim in South Korea ! Be real folks ! He failed to build the wall on the border with Mexico, Mexico laughed at him when he said they should pay for the wall. Be Real here. The wall still isn’t built, the border and immigration is a problem yes, there is no real solution. The best solution is change the policy in Congress, close the borders, if necessary build the wall fully. Control the intake and makeit clear we can’t allow illegal immigration. Now, can Biden do it and still be President, that isa question we all need to face and think about.

 Both Biden and Trump are too old to be President, both have physical and mental problems period. To, allow either to hold the Presidency again is wrong, period in my opinion. BUt I fear Trump more than Biden for sure. Biden will never do what Trump has done period.

  In the end, let me say this, I firmly believe Donald J.Trump belongs in prision, I believe Joe Biden needs to step aside also. The lesser of the two evils is indeed Biden. We need a new generation in both parties, competent, intelligent, and young enough to handle the decisions and pressures of the President and Leadership not only of America, but of the World too. America is indeed at a crossroads in it’s world policies and homeland politics. Nikki Haley is correct, Congress is now a old folks home, there should be term limits. And Congress in both the Senate and House needs to be updated. They need to be told to work together for the good of the nation, not for the good of themselvesor their parties. The House should be 50-50 and the Senate too amd both sides need to learn tocompromise as necessary tomove amaeric forward and for the good of all thepeople, no matter race, color, nationality, or political affilation. Respect needs to be restored. We are being watched across the World folks and these politicians are embarrassing to us.

The Music was loud and not always right,

The company was fun and to get it done,

Yes I continued to hang on.

I stood alone on my own and watched the people go by,

Christmas Eve has arrived, the Season of Joy they say,

Children look forward to getting the gifts they wish for,

And People rush to and fro,

As a Jolly man in a Red Suit goes Ho, Ho, Ho!

It doesn’t matter if we have clear skies, rain or snow,

Each Christmas Season we let all of our good feelings flow.

People laugh and giggle,

As the Christmas Bells do jingle,

Children smile making the season bright.

We all look forward to Christmas Day,

As we head to bed on Christmas Eve Night!

While reindeer and snowmen are held in our heads,

And we lay on our pillows in our beds,

Visions of Sugar Plums in our heads,

It’s the time of year, for many to laugh and cheer,

But for me, I shed a tear,

I lost you to cancer you see and you are now gone from me.

I try to go on each day that I can,

Trying to be a decent and better man.

But, I have these rumblings in my mind,

It’s like the thunder and lighting of a storm,

The memories come roaring back you see,

Memories of you, for me.

I miss your smile, your pretty face,
