Wake Up America: The Danger of Passivity in Politics


Hello, Westborough, Massachuetts and the world. I hope all are doing well, having fun and getting by just fine, these days. Life is what you make it they say, and each day does take a bit of an effort to get out there and interact. Some look at me, as being an old man, and I don’t consider myself that way really, even though I joke about it all. Age is really just a number and you can’t avoid, aging folks, but your attitude you can control. Laugh, have fun, and remember whatever you put your mind to, you can get done, if you just stick to it.

Next, It is early here I awoke at 5:30 am again which is these days becoming a regular ritual on my part. I have my coffee and read the news and e-mails I may get, even comments on my blog if I can some. I just like to see what people think these days. I mean, look at the world and how fast it has changed for all Americans since Joe Biden is out of office. I pray there will be enough of America left by 2028 for our children and grandchildren to enjoy.

Changes are rapid and many are angry type and nasty type too. Our own system of democracy and our republic are at stake here. Yet American are passive toward it all and letting it happen before our very eyes. If you don’t like what is happening Americans, I think you need to wakeup, ad voice the facts, and fight back. If you don’t, there won’t be a America anymore, for the passive get over taken quickly and they get forced into auticratic and communistic rule. everything that iis being done by today’s American President, was done before in the world, and each time it took the world to wars. HItler did it the same way, and well we all know history I would hope, and that wa sthe biggest turmoil and war ever, World War 2. Will it happen again, it is beggining to look like it may, right here in America. The danger is real follks, and until we stop it all, it will continue.

No Man, woman or child should be above the law, No President should have unlimited powers in America. The Forefathers, put in the System of Governement we have fora reason, it’s called checks and balances. We nee dto let those Checks and Balances work once more and stop the maddness now in Office. Before it is too late folks or America goes down. It has started it’s decline now and if it continues, we shall all be speaking Russian soon.

Let me be clear here, I do not agree with, condone the policies put forth under the CUrrent President or his Adminstration. Nor, do I approve of his choices for key positions in our Governement. They stink each and everyone of them. I wnat them change, I don’t want RFK Jr. Running our Health, I don’t want Kristi Noem either, I hate Pete Hegseth and what he is doing to our Department of Defense, now they want to call it the War Department, doesn’t that sound to you like osmeone is looking for a war to fight these days? The education Department is disappearing piece by piece, why? Medicare and Medicaid is constantly under attack, Social Security is too now. Why? What is left for future generations when they now have to work to at least 69 to retire and they won’t even have Social Security left for them? What happened to the gOvernement for the people and by the people? What happened to take care of our own? The elderly, are running out of coverages and protections and no one cares anymore! Sadly, even the Veteran’s Administration is under attack these days, and we the Veteran’s who kept our country free for the future are losing benefits and resourses why? Don’t we deserve our benenfits anymore? or is it alright for a bone spur complaining individual who never served one day to steal it from us all? What is it Americans, why are you allowing all of this to happen?

Since when does an American President step up on a podium at Nato and tell the world their countries suck? Who is he to represent usin this way. He is being laughed at on the world stage and we are declining in stature and pride and position, because we allow him to do it. Wake up, stop him now! I remind all many empires before teh American Empire have died out and destroyed themselves, by following courrupt leaders, evil leaders or greedy leaders. Our current leader orpresident is all three of the above. The Aztecs, The Incas, The Japanesse, The Germans, the Romans and so many more lost their empires following one mad man. Let’s not do it America, lets fight back. If you love democracy, you love our Republic, our wya of life, Freedom of Speech, and the right to your own religion, then I say fight back now, Preserve and Protect it I say. I remind all, of what one of the Founding Fathers said” Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neith liberty or safety” Ben Franklin’s 1755 warning against trading freedom, for comfort still sparks debates about rights, security and governement over reach today. I think Americans need to take heed to it and all of our ForeFathers. If we lose our guts, our fight anf our rights, we lose all we are. If we lose Freedom of Speech, our choice to Politics and religion, our right to earn a good living or or right to education, we lose America. and that my fellow Americans is what the current Administration and current President is tearing down. It must stop now.

We need a new Theodore Roosevelt folks, He sai dit best when trying to save America, Speak Softly, qnd carry a big stick: you wil go far. His words reflected a belief in calm diplomancy, but with strength in reserve. The phrase defined U.S. foreign policy and projected America’s rising global power in the early 1900’s. We need it again and to stand by it.

Whats next America?


There comes a time. for all to realize, some things in America today. So, as a blogger, a single senior male, who is a widower, I look for ways to wake the American spirit I once knew growing up.

I was born in the 1950’s, and grew up in the 1960’s amd 1970’s. we had schools that taught, cars that worked an dprotected you, because they were made of steel. We had the best darn music too, with Aerosmith, Deep Purple, The Doobie Brothers, and all the Motown groups and artists. Movies were made to entertain, not shock, and not show how to kill. What happened to our world folks?

People had jobs and factories were everywhere. Work was plenty and prices were low, on gas, utilities and homes. We actually had the best years when I was young for sure. we found friends at parks and in schools. We kept the friends we had too. Some we have lost that is true and some moved on like me and you. Yet, some stayed and will never go away, we keep in touch is all I can say.

What happened to the peaceful streets of small towns and cities. What happened to peaceful protests, of the days of Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy? What happened to Presidents who had logic and common sense and morals and ethics? Where did our good Senators and Representatives go? You know the ones that would fight for our benefits, our rights, or freedoms! Where are you now, when we need you most?

Our streets and news filled with violence and shootings. Prices rising steadily, people hungry asking for food, homelessness rising, and hate mongers preaching and getting people more riled up than ever before. What happened folks, where did we go wrong? In my lifetime, I was born under Eisenhowser folks, he warned of the military, he warned of Russia. Kennedy came in and it began with his assasination, the bullets took over. But, at least it stayed stable for a while under Johnson and Nixon, of course there was Watergate too. what happened folks, where did the corruption come in, the anger and hate that now shakes America to it’s core?

Now prices are high again, jobs are disappearing and the homelessness rises again. People are hungry folks, desperate once more, begging for help. The anger between the Political Parties has now boiled over to the full public, as republicans and democrats argue and fight it out, with threats, and some die from bullets once more. Why?

Isn’t there a way to debate and discuss anymore? Isn’t there any morals and ethics and beliefs to treat one another fairly anymore? Where did it go folks? Please tell me why I can’t turn on the news and not see someone was shot today, or someone robbed or killed someone today? Why, is so much anger and misery in America, the land of the free, that we call it? Is there ever going to be peace again?

Let me state a few things here. We are still a republic and a democracy at least right now. we still have a Constitution folks and our Bills of Rights. But, for how long is my question? Can we maintain it or will we lose it all? I have said it before, and I say it again here, Empires are built and they fall, will, America fall like the rest after all? Are we too greedy, too angry, too non-caring, like the others that fell before us? Is our moral and ethical basis disappearing, is America crumbling? It sure looks like it to me.

Our children go to school, shootings, education is disappearing because it is being shut down by our President and Governement. why? Voting is being questioned left and right, mail in voting they want to kill next. One by one, piece by piece America is being dismantled, when will it stop? Social Security under attack, Medicare, Medicaid too. We paid into Social Security to have something for retirememnt, now, who knows how long it shall last? Medical costs skyrocket each day, elderly people die because their insurance isn’t paid and they can’t afford it. Burials are crazy prices and funerals too. what is America becoming is my question folks, where is it heading to?

The laws of the land we live in are constantly under attack. The Supreme Court does not act, and it protects the President, no one else it seems. Thats what happens when you let one man pick the Judges and they owe him you see. It’s as plain as it gets to see. I wish to remind everyone, no President can serve three terms in office, it’s the law of the land. It changed for a reason, and it should remain that way.

Wars rage around the world now, and slowly but surely, America is being drawn into them. Ukraine battles for it’s existence, Gaza falls to Israel, yet, we watch in horror and do nothing. Russian drones fly into Nato countries and Nato does not react, what is Nato for then, if not for protection of it’s members? Please explain that one?

Look I am a man who served my country for 16 years. I gave up my time, my energy, my body to defend and protect, what I believed in and still do to this day. I am disabled and a Veteran, I am old now, we served volunteerily back then, now we can’t find men and women to serve, not anymore in the same spirit. This is not the America, the Founding Fathers brought forth, anymore. It has turned into a quasi-autocratic nation under one man, who wants to be king, and dictator in one. Sadly, no one is stopping him! Congress grovels at his feet and kisses his ass, and he just goes on doing as he wants with illegal Executive Orders, and breaks laws left and right. Why isn’t he being stopped or impeached? So many politicans who hated Trump originally all of a sudden turned around and now kiss up to him, why? What is he holding over these people? The fear of being primaried? Look folks, you, can run again if you wish, but you will not win the votes, if you don’t grow a set of balls and stand up for what is right! Thats my opinion anyway. The way I see it, the mid-terms will come soon enough, and by November 2026, more Republican and MAGA politicans wil be headed home. America can not and I believe will not allow, this to continue for too long. It’s a check and balance thing we have going for us. It must now, snap back into place very soon. If it doesn’t folks, do yourself a favor, get a copy of Babbel language programs and learn Russian, because we are headed there. And that my fellow Americans, is not what we want for sure!

My rant for today! When will Americans wake up?


Hard to believe, but, I really don’t have much to say this am here. I know I post blogs all the time on the dating scene for seniors, politics and even comments on the NFL! Yet, there comes a time when one, must just sit back and think things out, before engaging to write a blog.

From a political persepctive, I think America is in the largest trouble it has ever been in, since it’s inception and creation as a nation. Some don’t think so, but, I believe we are about to find out, very shortly. Prices are rising, food, rent, housing, gas, all up. Clothing up. Utilities are rising too as the electric companies charge more, heat and hot water rise also. Mortgage rates climb and more Americans can not afford to buy a home, so rents climb also.

If that isn’t enough folks, President Trump is laughed at on the world stage daily. Putin does as he wishes in Ukraine and ignores Trump period. Now Putin has drones flying into Poland, a member of Nato, what will Trump do now? Any ideas folks? Are we headed in to war and not realizing it? Maybe!

Well what else is in the news these days, that is interesting? Famous people pass away, movies come and go on the big screen, and people are more angry in America than I have ever seen. It’s a sad state of affairs for a country, that is supposed to be the world’s leading democracy and republic.

Our President wants to kill, mail in voting, kill elections and run for a third term, even though, it is against the Constitution and laws of our land. Deportations are happening and while I believe, illegal immigration is wrong and they must go, grabbing them off the streets without due process is just wrong, and I don’t care what Trump says or the supreme court.

Talking about the Supreme Court, did anyone else notice, since Trump appointed the majority of the Justices, they don’t stop him from doing anything, and they take his side in everything? I thought the Supreme Court was to be the protector of the laws and Constitution and the people, not one sided and bowing down to a President like he owns them. whats that all about folks?

Yes I am ranting I know, and some times one just has to do so. I have so many things to rant on it is crazy these days, it’s now become the American way. The Department of Education is slowly closing down, schools are suffering. What guidance will our children have to learn from now?

Medicare and Medicaid are under attack, Social Security is being examined and attacked also. What right does DOGE, Musk, or Trump have to your personal information? Why are they doing it all? Where is all this money being directed to, when it is shut off to lay off federal employees?

So many questions abound these days. it is crazy folks. Where does America go next and will we continue to be here in the future or will we be lost in time?

I said this before to all and I shall say it once more. In History, great societies have risen and fallen, many. Go back my friends and look, The Aztecs, The Incas, The American Indians, The Romans, The German Nazis and the Japaneese Empires. The Huns, The Vikings, even. All rose to positions of greatness at one time, then, they fell like a building of bricks, knocked over. Why? Greed of Power, thinking they were greater then everyone else, wanting control of everyone and the world. All worked to kill these empires and dynasties. Well, guess where America is headed folks, we are falling too, in our unigue and own way. Our economy is failing, under Trump, our Education System is going down, our social programs are dying and so are jobs. Unemployment levels rise, and people are hungry and homeless like never before in American History. Look closely folks, for in the end, it’s all true what I am saying, and what shall be left for your children and grandchildren and generations to come? Not, much at this rate. The rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer and the middle class is aching and in trouble. These are things pointing to an Autocratic society folks. Dictators and Kings ran countries this way, till they were toppled is what I say.

America’s Forefathers, Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, and more, What would they say about Trump and the way America is today? Would Paul Revere just sit and watch us fall? The Consttitution and the Bill of Rights were written to prevent what is happening today. Yet, here it is in a nutshell folks, just what the Forefathers did not want and worked so hard to prevent. A autocratic and socialist and communist governement slowly taking over America. It’s sad really.

I know and still remember and all American’s should remember what Benjamin Franklin said after the Constitution was signed and approved. He said, ” We now have a Republic and Democracy, and we shall only have it as long as we protect and defend it!” Well it looks like in my opinion, we are losing it and Franklin was correct, it will disappear soon enough. I wish the Forefathers of America were here today, if so they would Tar and Feather Trump, tie him to a telephone pole and run him out of Washington, DC and the country!

Sadly, we don’t have the people with the guts and balls and heart to save this country anymore. Congress is now filled with weak willed, ass kissers, who Trump seems to have control over. He tells them, he will have them primared and run out of office if they go against him, and they run scared. They let Trump do what he wishes and bam, America falls another notch down the ladder, toward a third world nation. The House and The Senate are letting a 34 times convicted felon, the best friend to the biggest pedophile in American History destroy everything he touches. So as a Nation, America falls further and we the People have less freedom, less necessities, food, water, clothing and housing than ever before, and jobs disappear. It’s definitely a sad state of affairs Americans. So, where do we go from here and when will Americans wake up?

America must wake up!


 Friday January 19th, 2024 has arrived and yes I woke up and am alive. Never thought I would be here at this age and getting ready to turn 68, in lets see, six days. I honestly thought I would be dead at 40, because of the life I lived in my younger days. Others who lived the same type of life I did, have not survived as long and are gone. I have seen accidental deaths, and suicides as they have gone by, people who I never thought would be gone are indeed gone. I never thought I would see, myself still kicking, yet here I be.

 As I get ready to turn 68 on January 25th, 2024, I do so, missing my wife of 28 years still. Yet, I also know she can not comeback to me, nor can I reach her. I know many will tell me, to begin to move on and I wnat to, but, since i havent found anyone to do so with, the memories draw me back to her. I also know the memories are great to have, and missing someone you loss is ok, I also have to keep living day by day, for the fact, I am here.

 I look for a way now, to try to just keep going, to laugh, to do what is necessary to keep going. Finding the small things in life that count most is not easy, when your alone you tend to stay to yourself, it’s a matter of fact. Those who know me, tell me to go out, meet people, have fun, thats the only way to find someone, but I ask, where do you go at 68 years old to do so ?

  I walk a lot as i said before, and if I see someone who went down, or is injuried I will help if I can. I will never refuse to help anyone who is hurt, I am not built that way, to just do nothing. Living in a 55 plus community, I see it as a place we should keep aneye on each other and help when and where we can. Not all of us have family nearby or that can be called and I am sure we all want help when we can get it. When you get to a 55 plus community like i am in, you know your here for retirement purposes, or to live out the remainder of your life. Doesn’t mean we die on getting here, just means we realize we want to retire in peace, have some quiet, and hope to make and have friends we can share whats left, with.

 In my case, my life, has it’s own rewards, to it. I spent my youngest days, helping my family at home, rebuilding a home for us to live in with my step-father, babysittng my younger siblings and such. Then, I helped all my firends I had that I could in my high school years and a lil beyond. I joined the Service at a young age and served for 16 years in 3 different branches of service, Army, Army National Guard and US Navy. I recieved a Honarable Discharge un Medical Conditions. I married twic eone, went 12 years, produced two daughters and now four grandchildren. The second marriage went 21 year, the relationship went 28 years, no children but, I spent 16 of those years taking care of a wife with breast cancer and that ended with my hospicing my wife till she passed on me in 2021. So yes, I have had a pretty full life, but, I am leaving somethings behind when I do leave.

 I leave behind when I die, some people i have taught things like drawing, some I have helped along in relationships and there will be my writtings. Stories, blogs, poems, they are out there for all to read. If they help anyone in anyway, then I have done good in this world. I have like all people my ups, my downs, my just hanging on moments, but I have also, given back whatI can, where I can and when I can. a person’s legacy may not equal those of heroes, or President’s or or civil leaders or more, but, we are not remembered for being heroes, we are remembered by those we care for, help, guide, defend or love. In life we make friends, some we keep for alifetime and others we pass by as we go. The same can be said for lovers. Personally, I know my lovers have been few and i can count them on one hand, not all reached fruiation, or relationship status, but I am not, one to mess with destiny of fate, I accept it. You can’t make someone love you, anymore than you can stop death from happening. Destiny and fate is all that is and we make choices, based on what we have already experienced in our past. We draw on all we experienced as we went along, and what we were taught by others, to make the decisions in the present day we live in. Just a fact folks ! We are taught by parents or those that raise us, right from wrong, and we go by those lessons, which is why family units are so important in this world we live in.

  Anyway, life is still going on for me as of today, and I watch the political world in America and wonder, what is next ? Are Americans really foolish enough, blind enough or accepting enough to re-elect a man, who lies, cheats, is a sexual predator and harrasser of women. and never kept a promise in his life again? I know many will think oh, another anti-trumper is all I be, but, that is not the truth of me. Ex-President Donald J. Trump does not belong in the White House or in The Office of The Presidency again ! Which in itself as a statement Trump uses himself to run for The Office of the Presidency proves the Presidency is an Office held in the United States and comes under the 14th amendment clause, of the constitution. I remind all Americans, Donald J. Trump, couldn’t sell water, steaks, or a university he ripped people off for money with, he cheated contractors out of money for work they did for him, and only paid them pennies on the dollar. And that just is the start of his crimes of his past, now add in sexaul harrassment of women, found to be liable for doing so and fighting with Judges over how much to pay. How about his Two Impeachments in Office as President, his running an insurection and riot as President and telling people led to walk down to the capital and stop the certication of electorial votes. How about his people yelling, Hang Mike Pence ? He called the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and others to the capital that January 6th ! Wake up.

 Four Indictments, 91 charges later and people still want to vote for this man, why? I don’t have the answer, but, I do warn you, re-elect him and you destroy yourself and your own republican, democracy you live in. This man was removed from the Colorado ballot and Maine ballot because they found him to be the leader of an insurrection against our country and constitution. Now it must go to The Supreme Court for a decision soon. The danger of Donald J. Trump is real folks, if you can’t see it yet, please go read his brief put forward to the Supreme Court fighting for Immunity. He warns the Supreme Court that is his claim of Immunity is not upheld by them, it will cause Chaos and more. Who tells a court this and gets away with it? He tells the court, that his people will cause chaos and destruction and go wild if he is not given full immunity. Are you kidding me, lets just be realistic and do what is right. If his supporters wants to attack and go crazy we have the National Guards and military to stop it all. No way in hell should anyone, allow one man to lead his supporters this way. Trump wants revenge for losing in 2020, he wants retrobuition for his loss. Are you kidding me? I wish someone would wake up this country, and wake up to the fact that electing Trump is just installing a dictator, or autocrat, and paying the price for it over four more years of more crimes and problems. America must wake up !

 

 

 

 

 

Drop Out Donald Trump! For America’s Sake!


     Trump, why would anyone want a man who committed bankruptcy three times on his own businesses and who has been divorced and remarried and went thru 3 wives  as President?  Wake up America, trump says he gets his military advice from Television commentators? really now?  Get informed and educated Mr. Trump in politics, economics, and military planning please! learn before you open your mouth about these things! Imagine a President Trump going to Germany and Talking down to the German Leader as he does American Women today? He wouldn’t last 5 minutes doing so, she would eat him up and spit him out and tell him to go home and learn respect. What a reflection that would be on Americans in the world!

That said by me, we need to now look at his attacking other politicians, such as Hillary Clinton on her performance as Secretary of State.  I remind you Mr. Trump, Hillary Rodham Clinton, acted as Secretary of State and worked for President Barrack Obama not herself. She had no choice in what she did in many cases and received instructions from President Obama on how to perform her duties. President Obama knew how she stored text messages and what she did as Secretary of State and approved it all, you want to go after someone for the security issue here try Obama! Stop trying to knock down Hillary when in fact she will kick your ass in the General Election if you get there! Let’s face some facts Mr. Trump, I have watched you criticize too many people and things you have no idea of or about for real. It’s really sad that you believe you can criticize Veterans and those who served in anyway, you haven’t served one bit have you? You never held a political office period so who are you to say what you can or not do, the point is Congress exists as a check and balance system that guides and fights back against Presidents and The Executive System to protect the people period. Do You Understand that?

What makes you think Mexico will pay for a wall between the borders, freely or that you can create a tariff on your own will and power if President you can’t! Congress must approve of it before you can even begin it. And do you really think Mexico or it’s people will agree to a wall between the two nations, hell no they won’t. They benefit too much from the border  being open and we all know it. The trade between the two countries , the travel industry and more would stop you alone from doing it. You want to stop American Companies from moving North or South of our borders to create items we manufacture and keep taxes at home, try, giving Nabisco and Ford tax breaks to remain here. Try making it more affordable for these producers to operate here at home instead of moving overseas or across our borders. That may change their minds, we kill their profits Mr. Trump by raising our own tariffs and taxes on our own manufacturers. Sad isn’t it? But True. Decades ago here in Connecticut, we had Uniroyal Inc. in a small town called Naugatuck here. They gave their people the best medical, dental and savings plans ever given in america and gave them pay raises on a constant basis. The employees lived high on the hog from it all and Uniroyal continued to make tires and sneakers for all to buy and had a decent profit margin for all. Then, the Unions took over and the employees demanded more pay, more benefits and more or everything you could think of. In the end the company said no, and the Union put the employees out on strike. The end result was as follows Mr. Trump, Uniroyal gave in, brought the employees back to work and six months later they shut down, laying off all workers and management and picked up their factory and equipment and took it overseas. What made them go, high taxes by the state, and federal and town governments, and too much demand by the Union and employees. So in the end, the town of Naugatuck, Connecticut became a Ghost Town Sir, no jobs, for anyone in the area and so many out of work, the state still has not recovered or the area either, of the Naugatuck Valley, sad huh?

Connecticut was also affected Mr. Trump by military cutbacks and the loss of contracts for submarines and naval equipment. Once the largest producer of submarines and naval equipment, we are now toward the bottom of it all. Why? You want to help America Mr. Trump, create jobs by lowering taxes on businesses and manufacturers. from the small businesses to the factories, give them incentives to create and produce and encourage creation of products and innovation. Don’t take shit, do it and watch, you will see a change. Extend Unemployment for all, and retrain blue collar workers for white collar positions and jobs, increase pride and more in people by encouraging not demeaning anyone or anything.

 I heard recently Mr.Trump you say that Ronald Reagan is the last era of greatness for America. I disagree Sir, you want to know when America was last Great and productive and admired and respected, take a look back to John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon. When was the last time we had plenty of jobs and food and gas was affordable, when could you get a comic book for a nickle or a quarter, when could you get a loaf of bread for twenty nine cents? Tell me Sir and why could we do it back then, because our Leaders, learned and knew to get along and be prosperous in America, Americans had to Compromise and these Leaders knew it back then, shouldn’t we also know that today! I think we should!

One thing I will say before I go any further Mr. Trump is this, We the American People are tired of supporting, helping and sustaining and policing other nations !. We spend so much money and time on military and political aid in the world and other countries we allow our own people who serve and protect our country to come home and end up on our streets and live in cardboard boxes and not get their health taken care of , or fed?  You want to be President Sir, then I say this bring jobs,back, stop policing and protecting the world, that didn’t give a damn when we were hit on 9/11, they didn’t come running with money, or medical help of reconstruction help did they, why do we do it for them? Next if necessary lets end the Middle East mess the best way possible Sir, lets locate Isis and Al Qaeda, where they live and grow and take them out with bombs making a parking lot out of where they hide, and just move in militarily and take over the area and secure us a place in the Middle East, giving us the oil we need and stabilizing the area by our presence there. Even a suggestion of us moving into that area and taking over would rackle and raise hairs and make them think twice wouldn’t it and slow down their bullshit. Think about it folks!. Our presence there would make them think twice about attacking anyone, including us, because our presence would bring our military and political force to the area for them to contend with. Interesting huh?

Lastly and not the least, Mr. Trump, listen closely, you have no diplomatic abilities and don’t understand how to talk to women and you insult and outrage them with the way you talk about them and their bodies and minds. Are you sick or just that bad of a man, that you have to attack women in these ways and manner, to just make yourself look better than them? Your a sad excuse for a man when you continue to make sexist remarks about woman period, and that makes you not Presidential Material in my book! You want to help your country Mr. Trump, drop the hell out of the election and republican running for it, and pack up your bags and go home, keeping your sexist, unreasonable ideas to yourself. I think America needs leaders yes Sir, but you’re not the one we need, when you can’t conduct yourself better than you have so far. Drop out Mr. Trump, please for all our sakes!

 

 

 

 

President James Earl Carter’s Cancer Diagnosis


           Good Morning to All!  My Blog today is my thoughts on the recent news of  President Jimmy Carters diagnosis of Cancer and what it means to the world and America . Now many Americans will say no big deal many die of cancer and face the same every day in America, but none ran for President and won and then served for 4 years and did the best they could to turn around our nation. James Earl Carter, is a man with some great ideas and great outlooks and he has set examples for Americans all over the world and others too. He Has built homes for the homeless, he has farmed and he has supported America in all ways he can. His abilities have been used to debate, and bring together nations no one would ever believe would have ever met in the same room, in our lifetimes. He has always had a positive outlook and he believes in America and it people and he will, if he dies be remembered as a man who loved life, his family and his country and not necessarily in that order. The sad part of it is James Earl Carter never got to finish his presidency the way he wanted and he knows it and so do americans everywhere. He has lived a full life indeed, his rise from a peanut farmer to a Governor then to The Presidency is historic and shall never be forgotten. His peaceful ways, his determination and his pride as a person and politician shall be his legacy if he should die soon. Mr. Carter has worked endless in many fields helping humanity in all ways and America too, he is world reknown for his peace keeping missions, his negotiating and his mediator abilities and if he should pass from this life from his cancer, he shall be sorely missed not only by his family and friends but by the Nation and The World.  James Earl Carter will be remember as a Leader, a Peace Maker and most of all as a man who did always what he believed was right!. And his prognosis  will be one we all shall be watching and I hope President Carter will not suffer, and that he shall be remember as he should a Hero, a President and a Leader of Men and Women WorldWide. He deserves all Honors and a place in History of the best. Latest Disaster and Shooting, Sad!


              Theatre Shooting are now becoming occurrences in this country, and sadly, going to see a movie is no longer safe anymore. Gunmen it seems come in all forms, ages, colors and races and are everywhere. Where is all the anger, frustration coming from folks and why is it happening?

Violence is growing in America and in the world, and some people believe it is the way to get ahead and get what you want. Well it isn’t folks for the more violence and shootings the bigger the defenders of freedom will grow too. The police can’t keep up with it all, but The National Guard of each state can be deployed and used to slow and possibly stop this shit, arm em and put em out to stop it now! 

Theatre shootings, park shooting, lone gunmen running wild, why, what is it all about folks? I submit it is most likely about lack of jobs, lack of employment and racial hate. Affordability in America is not here anymore, prices rise each day on primary goods such as clothes, food and more, and no one reacts to it at it or tries to change it, including our own Government and Congress. Sad isn’t it, we continue on a road to destruction as a nation like the Roman republic had in history. All societies end at some point and has America run it’s course now?        The Aztecs, The Incas, The Romans all civilizations that ran their course and peaked before they went out of existence are we next? Have we peaked folks, have we gone too far and are now on a down slope like they all were too near their ends? You tell me folks, for the crime, corruption, political biases and mean streaks in America Culture is killing the American dream. And as an American who can see it coming I mention it to try to wake up the leaders of America to it happening.Wake the hell up Americans and Congress, realize we are failing and hurting and we need to act to correct it now! Wake Up is all I can say, Race, creed color mean nothing in America, lets heal the wounds and make it all work folks!

Lets Make America Better Today, and in the Future!


             How many grew up like me in the 1960s, when we didn’t have a lot, but what we had we took care of. There were no home computers, video games, and few had bicycles even. I had erector sets and a microscope, and my Aunt sent me books of Nursery rhymes and stories, that kept me happy I would read them when I wa sin the house on my own. I owned a sled, and I didn’t get a bicycle till my teens, and then if i left it lying outside it would get stolen. But bread was still .29 cents a loaf, gas was under a dollar and food was affordable and jobs were out there, factories were everywhere for people top go to work in and ya made a decent day’s pay for a decent days work. I grew up doing two paper routes and making my own money as I struggled to get along in school and at home. Did You? I watched President John F. Kennedy get shot in Dallas on Television in Elementary School, did you?

By The 1970’s prices on everything went up at least a buck more, and we had gas lines by the end of the decade, Nixon won Election twice and blew it by ordering a break-in he didn’t need to do. He resigned in disgrace and Ford took over declaring the stay of the Union as no good. Ah, even though we struggle some Americans still fought through it all . Then the end of the 1970s  started 77 to 79, and jobs disappeared, Union Demand were too much for companies, cost raised to make items and factories and companies said no more. They Shut down, laid off people and said they couldn’t afford to produce in America anymore and moved overseas, leaving millions upon millions of people without jobs or ways to feed their families. Sad , I know but true!

Attacks on America became real overseas, with kidnappings and killings of Americans, we were all warned to save oil and wear sweaters and lower the thermostats  by our then President Jimmy Carter. Yes the beginning of the end of prosperity for Americans had hit. So, what has been done by which political party since is the question and how much has helped the American People for real? You stop and think it over folks, and you will find that a President can’t make any changes for the better or worse without Congresses approval and none was given for many decades now. So here we sit going into the 2016 Election Cycle for President, and we have to still wonder who will help the people more now. Will it be the Democrats or the Republicans, I know one thing it won’t be, a Tea Party Member or Donald Trump the new found republican Candidate, lol. You can’t get elected to the nations highest office if your talking the way he is now, nor can you if you have the ideas he does now. We all know it yet he leads his party with 24% percent in the poles, funny huh?

I love America, folks, I served her for 16 years and am a Disabled veteran with six bad discs in my neck and spine, and a cancer survivor now, from Lung cancer. I was born in 1956 and have seen every President since JFK in office that I can remember, and none of them, would say the things Donald trumps says today as he runs. Kennedy would have laughed at him and so would Kennedy’s nemesis Richard Nixon, and although they are both gone now, their beliefs of opening up the world, and making America Great still exist. And will forever more!

So as we head deeper into the 2016 Election Cycle, stop and think what we need most: 1: No More Wars, 2)A Health Care System that Works for all, 3) An Economy that can and will produce jobs for all to work again, 4) and a Strong President who will stand up to other countries and lead them in peace efforts and protection of our nation,not everyone elses! Ok5) tax Breaks and Incentives in each state for companies to come back and produce products we can sell over seas and at home and compete wit in the World Economy! So, lets find the right person, I say Elect Hillary Rodham Clinton, and use experience and knowledge on her part and her husbands to make a difference for all of us!

 

Generational differences !!!!!!!!!!!


    The differences in generations, is very apparent today in America! I grew up in the 1960s and the 1970s, I was born in 1956. The generation who raised me taught right from wrong, truth,justice and honesty and even religious lessons. Today so many of the virtues, morals, manners and discipline of those days are shot! 

The parents that raised me were born in the 1930s and they were taught discipline, religion,honesty,truth and morals and manners and they passed them on to me and my siblings. We didn’t have electronic toys to play with, no X-boxes, Playstations, tablets, computers or cell phones, no internet. You wanted to learn something you asked questions, or worked side by side with a parent,or you did one of my favorite things even today, you went to the library and read it. Honestly the children we were, and the adults we became are totally different then today’s children who are being raised by our children. They spoiled their children, give them all they want or don’t really need and let them do as they please. So, we end up with spoiled children and adults who don’t understand morals, ethics, manners, or discipline. Sad isn’t it?

 I learned masonry, carpentry, electricity, repairs of cars side by side with my step-father, I learned to treasure America and had Patriotic pride instilled in me too.Do the children of today have the same, I think not, not from what I can see. The permissiveness of the parents today, has affected the adults we have now walking around America. Sadly, it has  not been in a good way. They are lazy and weak, and don’t understand what it takes to hold jobs, or to help others, sad isn’t it? America really has gone from a we society to a me, me me, society and screw you also. Sad indeed, for in the 1960s and 1970s people would help one another if you were stuck or broken down somewhere, today they will run ya over before they will help you out there! It is indeed a sorry situation in American History!

Every year in January, we get a State Of The Union Address from our American President, and it usually covers economic and foreign affairs and our standing in the world. It should also include notices and discussion of how to improve the american Citizen and our morals, ethics, manners and caring for others, as well as the Justice system and include a part of the speech about racial equality in america and fairness. Sadly, it doesn’t ! 

 Look don’t take this the wrong way no matter what nationality you are or race, creed or color, but all of us are failing our children and our country by the lack of teaching and discipline we put into our children today. we need as parents and proud american citizens, to teach our children discipline, honesty, trust, and so much more like manners, ethics,morals that we learned. The world will not sit still and will always move forward folks, it is the responsibility of each generation to teach the next one, all needed to survive in the world, so lets do it! Don’t get lax on it folks, do it, and you may get some respect from the children you raise in return! 

June 13 th, 2015/ Hillary Rodham Clinton begins——


Hillary_Rodham_Clinton-cropped      Officially today, Hillary Rodham Clinton is having her first campaign rally, to kick off her run for the Presidency for the second time. Americans everywhere should watch and listen as she discusses issues and problems needing repair and correction in our land. Listen to her on education, economy,environment, jobs, manufacturing, unemployment and so much more.  Listen closely and while you’re at it, then listen to the Republicans and her opponents too. And then stop and think why are there about to be 13 or 14 Republicans running against her plus some Democrats too? 

The republicans fear a Hillary Rodham Clinton Presidency, they don’t know what to do to stop one though and never will, the fates have brought America to a point many countries before us have reached folks, a woman to lead us and fix what men did wrong before her. Germany has Merkel, other countries have female presidents, why not America? If Americans can stop and think it is not the sex of a person that determines their abilities and smarts, it’s their experiences in life that do. She has been a First Lady, a Senator, a Secretary and now wants the Presidency and i don’t blame her at all! She has the knowledge and experience to handle it all and should get elected if she doesn’t it will be because of people who hold sexist views on the Presidency and don’t want to trust a woman in it. The bottom line is, a woman may have more common sense and logic and brains then the men running now.

As 2015 rolls along and the election of 2016 gets closer our option are few for real integrity, for real smarts, or real logic and common sense to be in office.They say many don’t trust Hillary Rodham Clinton today, and they fear what she may do. But can you trust Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Santorum, or any of the republicans who are popping up to run at this time too, Rubio a freshman senator who will be like  Obama was when elected being trained in office. Come on Now! Elect some one with experience and knowledge and skill and Elect Hillary Rodham Clinton!
