Differences in Society, that need changing back!


       As I age I notice many differences in America that were not here before. The years have passed since I can remember a friendly America, where we all helped one another. What happened to those days? Does anyone remember when a child got hurt, a neighbor would help, or when someone got a flat tire on the road people would stop and help you? 

        How about when children of all colors and races ran together and played together in the backyard of a project or town or home and no one tried to kill each other? When color didn’t matter or nationality didn’t matter because you were too young to know the difference and no one shoved the idea of differences into your head?

      Each Day, I see it on the news, the whites attack the blacks, the blacks attack the white and Hispanics  and the Hispanics attack both whites and blacks and retaliation comes into play in big shootouts or murders. Why? What happened to the society of America, where it was all for one and one for all? It still exists once we all grow up and join the military as adults, but then disappears once we get discharged. Why? We all live on the same  on the continent and in the same damn country, yet we allow outside influences to change what we are, and to cause division among Americans! Stop it Please and wake up, a child is a child whether white, black, Hispanic  oriental or any other nationality or color. Who cares, a child needs to live to make  the world better and to continue mankind.  We basically are so ignorant at time we forget no matter what nationality, color, ethic background, we all bleed red! Anger needs to be removed from American Society so we can live in peace and ensure safety for all.

       We also need to get to a point where we remember to care for our Disabled,  our Veterans, our elders too. If they are elderly they earned respect don’t forget it, if they served their country don’t forget them or let them suffer and if they are disabled no matter whom they need help and respect also. This country owes so much to the people who came before you, that you tend to forget, they set the basis for what is next, and they thought of you first not themselves.

         In closing, as i look back in time i think of my youthful days, in the 1960s, when it was indeed a we society, not the me society it is today. There was respect for each other back then, there was an atmosphere of trust among neighbors and friends and people mingled and talked to one another and communication saved this country. We need to find that society once more.

 

 

My American Thoughts!!!!!!


      America, America, God shed it’s light on thee, and crowned thy good with brotherhood, from sea to shinning sea! Remember those lyrics and that song folks? It is embedded and sung to us everyday by many across our great nation, but how many understand it’s meaning, and what it should be for all of us? Stop and think when you hear our Star Spangled Banner, or our national songs, and think of those before you, who gave their lives and well-beings to keep us in the land of the Free!

America is built on a foundation of brotherhood, caring, and on the belief all have the same rights, to worship as they please, to speak their mind, to buy what they need and to live in peace as long as you don’t commit crimes. And it is the way the Founding Fathers wanted it to be, yet at times we as Americans of all nationalities and colors and races, try to battle each other to see who is superior. That my friends is just foolish pride, for in the end, we are all Americans and we should all be proud to be so, and get along. I care not what color your skin, nor where your ancestors came from, but I do care that you are here and have a pride in being here and will defend this country if called upon! Americans will fight if we have to and like Toby Keith the singer of country music said, We will put a boot in their ass, it’s the American Way! But we fight when provoked, or to protect what is ours or our allies, and only when needed. Americans do not start wars, but we are often called upon to end them, aren’t we? Amazing how when a nation, like Libya is in trouble, or Israel, or Afghanistan, Japan, Germany even England the Land of the Queen gets in trouble it is time to call the Americans and ask for help, but if we Americans ask for help many run the opposite way, why is that? Do we ever stop to think if we as Americans were on the brink of War or Attacked who will come to our aid, no we rush fool hardily out and help others who don’t give a damn if we survive or not! Sad isn’t it Americans, but in the end we strive so hard to be the world’s best at everything, that in the end we fail to realize we are leading and should not be!

I have now seen nations we helped in the past, thumb their noses at us and walk away when we request help. I have seen nations now, that we have rushed in to save with our military might and strength, turn on us and kill Americans for no good reasons. Why? Why would a country we helped to get rid of their Dictator in, turn on the ones that helped get rid of them? Simply put, no nation wants to be obliged to another for saving them, it costs too much politically and socially, doesn’t it? Well, Americans we need to stop spending our military might, our personnel and our money to help other nations who care not for us, or what we do!

The time has come for America to pull back from helping so many and help ourselves. We need to withdraw from Iraq, Egypt,Afghanistan,and Libya and bring all our resources home. We need to save the four billion a year we use to help these countries, and pour it back into our country to help ourselves. Do you hear any other nation saying America’s job markets suck, their economy sucks lets help them? Nope, they just want more out of us without giving anything back! Sad isn’t it, that we are still so prideful and so stupid at the same time to think, we have to help these nations, when in fact not a one of them would lift a finger if we went under or came close it, would they?

A point to be made here is simple, the last country that lent America a large hand, did so before we even became official Americans, France. They sent military help and financial help during our Revolutionary War. They helped us become a nation, and put themselves on the brink of destruction to do so, facing a financial collapse and a revolution of their due to it!. But, no other nation since has stepped up and said lets help Uncle Sam have they and if they have who are they can you tell me anyone?

I know the world expects America to lead in Military Might, Economically and to have Leadership position in everything, but,we can’t continue to lead and keep ourselves afloat forever, even the Great American Republic that we are, will run out of resources, and open itself to attacks by others, if we don’t take care of our own now!  It is time for Americans and their Government to reexamine our positions and conditions for our nation. We can not continue to give, give, give and get nothing in return that is worth while. We can not keep assisting other nations to build their own governments and countries if they will attack us for doing so and kill Americans for the fun of it or for religious reasons, it matters not, except they are attacking the hand that is feeding them!. It is time like Rand Paul said, to cut off the assistance and money flow to these nations, like Libya, Afghanistan, Iraq, and others, who take our assistance then use it for their private gains or against us. We are being foolish to sit here and finance attacks against ourselves this way!

Now, in ending my blog today and my rant about this, I want to mention the coming Presidential Election come November 6th, 2012. Before Americans rush to the polls and vote, stop and think on what is the most important issues to you and America as a whole! We need 1) strong and skilled leadership 2) A Person with a strong economic plan and one that won’t tear down America’s military might.3) We need Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security repaired and carried on. 4) We need economic expansion thru innovation and invention and education. 5) We need Health Care Reform left alone for the Elderly, Disabled and injured in America and that assistance is needed by millions upon millions. The broad picture we face, and the way we need to go forward is clear Americans, we need a leadership of a good president, like Obama is, and to elect a Democratic Congress to help him for four years. We need Democratic Senators and Representatives in Washington on the same page, so this country can get out of the log jam in Washington and move forward to improve itself and all we have, not tear it down and destroy it or block progress! Vote Democratic Folks, give President Obama four more years in Office and a chance to finish what he started, and give him people to back and assist him!

 

Dreams for America and Humankind


Dreams we all have for we are humans first and in America we are Americans second. We dream of the freedoms, people like Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter and Regan and Clinton and Obama dream of. Dreams of a United States, filled with jobs, equality, hope, caring and sharing, and as Martin Luther King Jr. said where all men are indeed created equal no matter what color, race or nationality. Where people help one another and where we are not a me generation anymore but a we, generation fighting for the rights, the needs, and the peace of all Americans and human beings!

The dreams many of Americans have dreamt are of a peace-loving nation where all are treated equally, where all can work, live in faith and choice of religion, and have their fair share we all should have!. This nation was not built on a platform of have and have-nots, it was built on a platform of We, The People!

Dreams of each and every American, no matter what race, nationality, religion, color or anything else, all have the rights given to us by our ancestors. And no they weren’t always right in all they did and built, but they proceeded to create the greatest Republic in the history of the world. Where else can a man or woman, or child have the same opportunities as each other, have the same rights as each other and live in one melting pot, in peace and survive and prosper as we have as Americans?

As The Republican and Democratic Conventions are both coming to an end, we the people have a responsibility to choose the right man for the Presidency again. We also must choose his back up in a Vice President too. Team sports is how our country is run, if one goes down his back-up must be just as good. We need strength, we need understanding, we need honesty, we need truth, we need caring and most of all, we need leadership that can stand tall and defend us, and make America move ahead, not backwards or down a slope to oblivion.

Dreams my fellow Americans are not just for day-dreamers, they are for leaders, they are for people who care, they are for all to share!. We dream because we are human and we dream because we were built with hope, determination and skills to survive. We dream for the generations that will follow us and need our protection and knowledge and skills to survive and much more. We must give our next generations of Americans the protection, the skills, the education, the determination and the abilities to survive and prosper in a changing world that will try to knock America down and destroy us all. America shall and will survive, it will prosper, it will still have it’s melting pot of people and different ideas, it will crawl out of any monetary or financial hole we have been tossed into. We always have for the past 200 and some odd years, haven’t we?

As you dream, I dream and we all dream of a country and world of peace, prosperity, love and hope, and health, we should also look around and one day look down, at the ground we walk upon. Below each of us embedded in the earth and busy as each of us are, are the ants below us crawling, scurrying, and working to build their own world and homes like we are above them. In the end we are just the next level up from these insects, we scurry building homes, feeding one another, storing for future events and trying to steer clear of problems and trouble too. Like the ants below our feet, we step on every day and who have their own purpose on this planet, just like any other living creature, including us,, we fight to survive, to build and to take care of our own. It’s the drive to stay alive and have more that makes us human and who we are as people. Each of us, love our families, our siblings, and our country!. Let all make the dream of equality, jobs, a working economy, healthcare, and benefits for all, our priority, not for us, not for our personal gain folks, but for the future generations of Americans, our children, our grandchildren and so this Republic will remain the Greatest in the history of the world and all time! The dream will survive, it will remain, it will enable and it will come true!

Last Night !!!!!!!!


      Last night, a Former President who led America through good times, with a budget in the black, came to the DNC and spoke about the current President and the job he is doing and why he should be reelected. What a speech is all I can say to President William J, Clinton. He spoke to each issue the Republicans have thrown at the current President Obama, and knocked them out of the ball park with truth and numbers and honesty. No one could have expected what Bill Clinton did or how he did it, but he is still one of the most fabulous speakers in political history.

As he  said himself and many will agree, President Barrack Obama, has done all he can so far to dig us out of the economic mess his predecessor George W. Bush put us in. And if you noticed there was no big verbal attack on George W. Bush or his father, but they was one glaring truth!  President Bill Clinton left office with the country in the black for the first time in decades, and 8 years after he left, this country was in the red again under the Republicans, why? How do you expect one man, with no support from the Republicans at all, to dig a country out of trillions of dollars of debt the prior put us into, in half the time? It doesn’t happen folks, you can’t dig a hole for 8 long years, constantly going deeper each minute, hour and day, than ask one President to get us out of the hole, in half the damn time, it can’t be done and won’t be done no matter who the President may be!

What we saw last night was a stellar performance and speech by the grandfather of the Democratic Party today, a man who still even years later can speak to the American People and touch us with facts and ideas and more.!

Tonight September 6th, 2012, at the Democratic National Convention, President Barrack Obama and his running mate and Vice President Joe Biden will accept their nominations for a second term in office!. As they do America I give you one thing to thing about as did former President Clinton last night; Do you want hope, do you want freedom, do you want less debt,more education, more social interaction with your government? Do you want Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, the Postal Service and more jobs for your children and their children next? Then Vote Barrack Obama back into office, give him four more years and make the right choice for America!

 

Issaac/ Election/ Facts


      As Isaac slams the Gulf Coast, and the storm surge is coming at the people there, I wonder what Mother Nature intends for the area! The Gulf States have survived many hurricanes and storms over the years and decades and more, but, what can be done to change the suffering and damages? The damages from these weather conditions, kill, destroy and cost America and their states, cities and people billions over time. So why would people continue to live in the way of such weather, what makes the citizens want to stay there is beyond me. I just hope as Isaac continues and starts to wind down later today, the survivors there, with damages will come to their senses and finally leave the area, no levees are big enough to stop Mother Nature folks!

Next, The Election which will continue no matter what happens elsewhere. As The Republican Convention rages on now with Romney and Ryan both nominated and now the candidates of their party, they will speak. I don’t want to hear anything except, plans to increase the economy, jobs and help elderly and future generations. Will they find a way, do they have a way to create jobs, put Americans back to work, and turn around the economy in America? Will they save Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, The US Postal Service, and keep HealthCare for all? If not I wouldn’t vote for them!  We can’t afford tax breaks for the rich, we can’t afford to baby those already rich at the expense of the lower, and middle class!  You want to raise taxes, tax the hell out of the millionaires, the billionaires and more! Please leave the poor and middle class alone. Don’t repeal ObamaCare as  it is now called, people need it, they need medical help, prescriptions and more and you will kill off the elderly and raise their costs of living!

My last message today Americans to all of you, who may read this is simple! America has risen to the top civilization and society in the world on the backs of the lower and middle class not the rich. We were handed, the current generation, a country with some problems but always improved by previous generations for us! Can we and do we want to give our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren a nation on the down slide and ending in ruin? Like previous civilizations that rose to the top in the world and ultimately destroyed themselves, America is now on that same brink now. We need to back off, find what will save us and make it work for the future generations, not continue to drive us deeper in debt!. Wake up folks, you can’t keep borrowing, you have to cut back, remove the unnecessary and lower costs. We can’t run our homes and families that way, and now we can not run America that way either.!

 

Your Choice 2012-America!


      As Issac bears down on the Gulf Coast and Republicans gather in Tampa, Florida, my thoughts gather as to the meaning of the current election cycle and what the weather means to the citizens faced with it. The biggest danger women and gents is not the weather that will disappear and the damage we can rebuild from, but the election if Romney and Ryan win, we will not recover from.

As Issac builds to hurricane strengths and threatens to wash away and blow away homes and property, the Republicans plan to blow away HealthCare,Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid and do nothing about The U.S. Postal Service which is going under next. There is no concrete plans to save any of the above by the Republicans, and we all know it, The one message they did get out is if they are elected the rich will pay less in taxes and the middle and lower class more. Sounds to me like the same old Republican bullshit, make themselves richer at the poor and middle classes expense. Why is that folks and why do we allow it at all? I wonder are we blinded by the lights and cameras of an election, are we not listening or paying attention to the real issues?  Which is it Americans? You tell me please? I tire of talking about what can happen and what did happen for  eight long years under George W. Bush, now we are paying the price for the fools who voted him in for a second term. His policies, plans and lack of control and more, left us in two war zones, left us with a lot fewer jobs, left us in a trade deficit, and took us from the black side of the ledger to so far in the red no President could get us out in four years or if you care one term! Lets face the facts here, groceries are up, clothing is rising, oil prices are flying high, we are overseas getting our weapons, and people killed policing other nations for what? China rules the economic world they keep producing more to export than to import so no big thought there huh!

We face a decision Americans between going backwards to the same fiscal and economic policies of the Bush years and trickle down economics as we had before or a new way to go by sticking with the President we have. Just like when your budgets at home and in your houses get out of control cuts must be made here too. But the cuts must be realistic not crazy and, they need to be in places where we need less not more. Stop and think Americans, is it all worth it, if the day after you each die and our generation is gone, that our children and grandchildren and generations to come will be paying our bills for their lifetimes? Are we going to be the first and foremost generation that screwed our own offsprings, because we are stupid, ignorant and dumb period? The generations before us, left us with Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, disability Insurance,The U.S. POstal Service, Jobs and a way to stay in the black, isn’t it time we woke up and ensured at least the same for the generations we are leaving behind?

As we look back in American History good men and women gave their lives, careers and health and more to keep America safe and healthy and better off than others. Are we  going to be the first generation that says the hell with them, they are on their own, We want to only take care of us?

America has changed between the 1950’s, 60s,70s,80s, 90s and now in the new century. We were at the earlier time a nation that ran on the we face the world view. We had the spirit of we, we, we, not the me, me, me we now see today!. Used to be you drove down a street, and saw someone with a flat stuck, you stopped and helped them, now if your stuck, everyone goes by and almost runs you over! There is no we anymore is there Americans, nope, now it is all me, I want, I need, I must have and so on, listen to todays kids and younger generations, they don’t read books,they don’t play outside and explore anymore, they don’t play with friends, their friends are on the internet, through X-Box,Playstation3, Nintendo, Computers and more. They hide in darkened rooms with doors closed staring at screens with video images and games playing and scream when they lose the game!. Yet we all wonder, where did we go wrong right, we gave our children everything right? Well, we haven’t Americans, we have made them, lazy, addicted to video games, and not educated them correctly. They have become lackadaisical, fat, under educated and who is to blame, we are as the adults and leaders of the country, that is who is to blame!

Sadly, America I believe we are now facing the same declines and destruction of our society that many other great societies before us did too, and we are allowing it to crumble in same ways too. The Aztecs, Mayans,Indians, Romans, all grew to great societies and civilizations, only to decline when either over taken, or becoming lazy and sloppy. We Americans are now on the same edge of the cliff, they faced and we can either spiral down and disappear, or face the facts and start working together, start educating our children, disciplining them, and leaving them what they need to make America better and stronger, not weaker and meeker. Lets wake up folks, it’s a crying shame how America is slowly falling down the economic ladder, the educational ladder, and the societal ladder. While I believe firmly in The Republic, my country, my people, my nation and defended it for 16 years and came home a disabled vet when discharged, I don’t believe we are doing what is right to maintain our country, our economy, our way of life, if we let what is here go down and watch it sink. I know, many will  say I am crazy, I don’t know of what I speak, I am blowing hot steam, or talking out of my other end, but I am not folks. America is declining because we are not smart enough to figure out, we are blowing it all, we will one day be a chapter  in a history book, or on the internet, the great American Society, that failed and crumbled like all the rest, destroying itself, through, careless acts, greediness, and lack of initiative and caring period. Sadly America do we allow this to happen?

One more thing to consider before you vote in November, Americans, as a citizen and American, do you truly believe you can dig a hole for eight long years, and then fill it back in half the time? Logic, common sense says, no way, try it folks! We gave Obama four years in office and then expected him to dig us out in one term, it took two terms to get us in this deep by the Republicans! Face the Facts America, you vote Republican we go deeper in debt, and you vote Democratic we may someday see the light again. Your Choice!

 

Danger, Danger, America, Danger!


      In the old days of the late 1960’s, on television we had some great shows. Among these were things like, Mutual of Omahas Wild KingDom. MaCales Navy, The Bionic Man and Woman, The Wonderful World of Disney and  more. We also had space fantasy shows, like Star Trek, and of course Lost in Space. Well, the time has come to face the Lost in Space we didn’t want to face, the 2012 election cycle for President!

In Lost in Space back then, they had a robot who would run around protecting lil Will Robinson from danger by screaming widely, Danger, Danger, Will Robinson, danger!. This kept lil Will safe and protected him from being hurt or killed. Well America I am not that robot, but, I do believe we face great danger today in this Presidential Race of 2012.

As the Republican Convention gets set to start on Sunday the 26th of August, we face danger, from the Republican Party. It’s Nominee will be Willard Mitt Romney for President and Paul Ryan for Vice President. We do not need these individuals in office to ruin what is left of America and tear down the rest of the economy we have left. Sadly many American‘s look at this ticket on the Republican Side and think they will save America, false they can’t even save their own bills in congress or pass them, nor can they lead anywhere, but to a place I call Lost in Space. At least the producers of such old shows as Lost in Space and Star Trek, had a vision of where we may go one day, these two have a vision of destroying what America has and making themselves and other rich people richer.

 Lets give tax breaks to the rich and make the poor pay for them, right! Lets leave our troops in Afghanistan and continue to police their country, right! Lets kill OBama Care and destroy the one thing that may save and make America’s health care affordable to its seniors and to all! Right! Come on Folks, these two have no jobs plan that will work, they have no economic plan to help us and they want to kill the benefits and organizations we now have that help the public.

As their convention gets closer I stop to think just how Lost in Space these two really are. Stop and think America! Who would block women’s rights to have abortions in cases of rape or to protect a woman’s life? Who would want to over turn Roe vs Wade? Who doesn’t care if the U.S. Post Office goes under, that has been with us since the days of Ben Franklin, the Republicans is who! Who wants to take benefits from the elderly, such as Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security and let them disappear from our lives, leaving the elderly nothing to fall back on in their old ages, the Republicans. Sadly, too many Americans belive this crap and listen to these Republicans talk it and they try to sell it to us and some do buy, watch on election day!

As we continue toward a fateful election come November America, we have to visualize what we may become and strive to attain it but making the right choices. This is not the America of the 1960’s, 70’s or 80’s or even 90’s anymore! We have deleted our political clout, we have deleted our resources and our abilities to recover is less than ever before. Is it not time America to pull back from policing other nations, fighting other nations wars and protect ourselves here at home? Is it not time we found manufacturing to employ our citizens and put them back to work? Is it not time to turn the corner in the Housing Markets, Job Markets and make America great once more? Well I believe it is and President Obama can do it given the time to do so. You can’t dig a hole for eight long years every minute of everyday and then ask someone to refill that hole and build upon the new land he put in,in half the time can you America?

 So, I say to you Americans, across out great country, Danger, Danger America Danger, don’t Elect the Republicans! They only want to make more for themselves as they hurt us middle class and lower class and broke citizens!

Remember my fellow Americans, a vote for the Republicans is a vote for Danger, and Destruction! A Vote for president Obama is a vote for hope and a future!

As the robot in Lost In Space said, Danger, Danger Will Robinson Danger, well America I say, Danger, Danger America, Danger, steer away from The Republicans!

 

Here We go America! Election Time is ahead!


     As Americans begin to scamper, beg, borrow and try to survive because of lack of jobs, rising food and gas prices and more, the Republican Convention begins to get underway soon. As the Republicans get ready to name Willard Mitt Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan, we need to look for the truths in this election.

The biggest choice we will all make in November on Election day, concerns what will happen to the job market, the economy, healthcare costs, loss of social Security benefits, Medicaid and Medicare and programs seniors depend upon. The cost will rise if the Republicans are indeed elected and you can believe it. The benefits will go down, the cost of taking care of our elderly and disabled will rise also. Sadly, we don’t need lower taxes for the rich, and higher taxes for the middle class and poor, we all know that. Lets keep the taxes down on us lower-income people and make the rich pay more I say.

Another thought to consider here and think about is, who will save the Postal service and such organizations that have been in America since the Revolution?  Are these jobs going too, and will we keep sending jobs overseas? Will we keep fighting other people’s wars too? I hope the hell not! The Afghans are killing American Service Members now, just for being there, yet we try to defend them and police their country, the time has come to stop now and bring our people home.

I have watched the commercials from both parties, the accusations, the sneering, the bad mouthing and more and grow tired of it. If you want to be President tell the truth, be honest, be up front and most of all be humble! Stop lying, and telling stories about the other party and it’s nominees, please. It is beginning to look like two elementary children in a school play ground fighting over things neither fully understand. Lets get the issues straight, and speak plain english please.!

 

Election Anger and False Statements


      As an Independent Voter, who is not a member of either Party, I tire of this bickering, and attacking each other from both parties and candidates. The Republicans attack the current administration and then in turn Obama attacks the Republicans and Romney. What we have here is not an election run by candidates who are adults, respectful and talking issues to the public and the citizens of America, but, two grown men acting like children on a playground in Elementary School. I can do better than you,no , you can’t I can. It feels more like a scene out of the Family Circus in the Comics page in the Sunday Paper!

Romney did not kill anyone and Obama is not going to break Medicare and Medicaid either, The Post Office and the system will go down because of electronic media such as e-mail, social programs like Facebook and more. Unless someone stops borrowing from it and gives it an infusion of cash or credit to continue. The Postal Service has been in effect and working in America since the days of Ben Franklin and our founding fathers in America, why are politicians and men in government going to let it fade?

And what of Social Security Ladies and Gentlemen? Is Congress going to continue to borrow from the money we pay in for our elderly days, till there is nothing left for anyone to have? We have Senior Citizens who have nothing to live on but these checks each month, they depend on Medicare and Medicaid also to pay for medicines and treatments!. So what happens if all of the above goes because politicians can’t figure out how to save it all, or how to refinance it all? Does this mean my children and their children and future generations of Americans can end up living like those in third world nations, hungry, homeless, sleeping in caves and tents and boxes? When will Congress wake up?

I have heard false accusations, false statements, lies and rhetoric from both sides so far now. when will someone tell us the truth Americans? When will one candidate stand up and admit our economy is failing, our job markets suck, because we killed off blue-collar work and factories! When will a politician stand up and tell us Unemployment will not be funded forever and will run out on us all?  Please tell us, Mr. President and Mr. Romney, when will our politicians who represent we the people, actually act and make some positive changes to create jobs, increase the GNP and move America forward once again? When will America be able to compete once more and be on top of the world markets? When will we stop fighting other nations wars and getting our service members killed for stupid reasons?  I have heard enough of the anger and false statements of both candidates this election season already, can someone make them finally give us solid plans, to save Medicaid, Medicare, Obama care, Social Security, and yes The Postal Service? When will either candidate finally show some guts and be honest with the American People and stop pointing fingers and state solutions for all above? Probably never if you ask me, for each just wants to carry on and be marked in history as either a two term President or President at any cost! The Cost Americans is us and the future generations of Americans, yes your children, your grandchildren and their livelihood and lives. Stop and Think, make these men and their political parties come up with solid answers that work! Lets clean up the deficit, lets create jobs, save Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the Post Office, make the right choice America, for in the end it is our children, grandchildren and future generations that will suffer and pay for our mistakes!

 

It’s Time to Make a Choice!


  A choice must be made in everyone’s life concerning certain events, certain possibilities and life changing events. For Americans this November of 2012 could be that moment in time! Be careful Americans, make the right choice or lose in November whatever you may have gained in the past 4 years and go deeper in debt and get no changes at all.

         Americans across our grand country are losing homes, jobs and belongings left and right, money is disappearing off the map in financial markets, and the stock market goes up and down on it’s own. The world economy balances itself and tries to survive by countries helping each other through mutual agreements for bail-outs. Will we be next?

        Wars rage across the globe that have nothing to really do with Americans, yet we nose our way in, spend our man power, time, efforts and money fighting them, for what? We need to stop it now and get the hell out of war zones and countries that are in this kind of trouble. The world is looking at America, as a possible saviour for the people of Syria too, but in fact we are too broke to manage to save ourselves never mind them. The will of America, it’s politicians and system has practically run out in the terms of world power. Yes we speak they listen, but then they laugh and walk away, doing as they please. The fact is Americans are tired of fighting wars we don’t belong in and policing countries that don’t give a shit about us too.

       Lets talk about our jobs markets and the problems with them. We need innovation, invention, intervention by Uncle Sam to jump start it all. Tax breaks would help to bring big companies back, these companies pay high tax rates to operate in America and get little in return and then when the numbers  get too high they pack up and leave. No one can blame a company for making it cheaper and making more money if they can by moving overseas. We are losing too many companies this way.

       Jobs are tight in America, this nation runs on blue collar, middle class jobs not the and white-collar ones. Proof  is in the historical look back at America, jobs were best and the economy best when the blue-collar middle class were the backs it ran on. Factories disappeared starting at the end of the 1970s. and continued to disappeared since. Manufacturers said nope can’t afford to pay the taxes here and moved overseas or shut down period. In the meantime no politician took up the cause of saving these jobs and manufacturers, so now the back bone of the America Economy is becoming White Collar Jobs and the Resale Industry and we don’t even sell our own things to ourselves anymore. Why is that? Is American Pride in building the better car, stereo, tv,, bike, or any other device now gone, we don’t care? What is it?

        In the meantime, Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security,Veteran’s Benefits and more disappear or are threatened in one way or another, just like the U.S. Postal Service.  Why do we borrow from Social Security and the Postal Service, we are killing good things than telling disabled americans,and elderly people we can’t give them Social Security until they are 70 or 75, next step will be 80 years old and only a few live that long. Lets be realistic here, Americans. for decades upon decades, Americans have paid into the Social Security Program set up by our government for people who earn by working and paying the tax it called for. Now, It will not be there for the next generation because Congress refuses to fix it properly and Americans who paid in will lose the money they did pay in!. Why? Lazy Politicians don’t want to fix it is why!

     So come November 2012 we have to make a choice between two men once more, as to who will lead the country as president. I recommend to all Americans to look extremely close at who you are voting for in all offices not just the top one. The republicans own the Senate and House and they stopped all progress for the last four years. Obama Care did go through and if anyone repels it, it would be stupid for Americans to allow it. Wake up folks, It is time to listen closely to what these politicians are saying and doing! We need a President who will keep Health Care, Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security in operation and existence and we need jobs, we need a job plan to get more companies back to america, more jobs for our people and politicians who care about America, not just their own wallets and purses. Vote carefully and I think if you do, President Obama will be in four more years. If you don’t we may end up with Romney and go further backwards till we do become a third world nation. So the Time has come America, for all of us who vote, from the baby boomer generation to make a choice that will affect America for a long time coming. We are now in our 50s. 60s and 70s, and will be leaving soon in some form or way, will we leave behind for those  of ours, a country in devastation and financial ruin and with no help for the elderly or will we make a choice that will save the future for our children and grand children and those beyond them and save America, It is time to make a choice!
