America Needs!

Across the world, countries look to America and it’s people to lead and show the way, to help protect and police them and direct them, but who directs the USA?

Recently I read an article that said, Obama will not be reelected President in 2012, and to prepare for a Republican takeover of the White House, if so in my opinion Americans might as well start saving large cardboard boxes to live in. Republicans tear down whatever good we have and it has been proven by past Presidents. We need to change things yes, improve the economy yes, create jobs yes and improve living conditions. We don’t need to destroy what is now in effect and beginning to work. Change as other Presidents said takes time and you can’t make changes overnight.

We need Trade agreements that are fair for the USA. We need jobs created through innovation, determination, and manufacturing not service. America was built and runs best under two circumstances and positions. 1) In times of war Americans come together to protect and over come and the factories we once had chug and grind out the materials and weapons of war quickly. 2) But America runs best on manufacturing of parts, and supplies needed for any industry, and because it is based on a blue-collar world not a white-collar one. Blue Collar people and jobs are the backbone and spine of America’s Economy and strength and we need to return to that as soon as possible. We need to give tax breaks to companies to make them stay here, we need Unions to work with companies to stay here, a sacrifice by America’s workers to industry leaders and those who are blue-collar will only make America stronger in the future.

What America needs more than anything now, is a Congress and President who can not only say compromise, but do it!. Both Political parties, and yes even the new Tea Party all need to realize, the American people, and the economy need compromise and togetherness in our government in order to move forward and repair the damage we have.

Is it wrong for the American People to ask of their own Government and the people they hired and elected as their leaders and legislators to come together for the good of the people and the country and make decisions, compromising all views for the good of the people?. I think it is high time it happens, or soon, we may be all living in cardboard boxes and begging for food for work!.

As we feed and help millions around the world, and police other countries and  fight wars we have no business in, we should stop and think of the greatest war we need to fight, The one here at home, of our own people hungry, homeless and jobless. Yes world America Needs Too, and no one helps us, no matter how much we help others. America needs!

America’s next Big Decision 2012

America must face its next biggest decision come 2012. Will we be able to recover lost jobs, make new jobs, and move ahead or fall further behind the world. As our economy falters and stalls and stops and starts and people lose jobs, homes, and end up begging for food on the streets and living in cardboard boxes, the cold winter is coming quickly. Many homeless and hungry and out of work Americans now face what many others face in the world, a lack of prosperity and coldness from those who have versus those who have not. Something must be done to return America and its people to it’s once proud stature of glory.

As 2011 rolls on into the winter months here on the Northeastern half of the country, families are worried how to pay for food, heat, rent and more. The American economy heads closer and closer  to depression thru this era and time of recession. Money, jobs, survival are all about to become a matter for Americans to consider not in the future but today. Democrats want to move us forward in one direction and Republicans in another. Sadly in 2008 the American people made a major mistake in giving the White House to one party and the Congress to the other. It created the worse gridlock in American Political History and now, We the People suffer for our mistake. The economy stagnates, and halts, the people starve and can’t find work, no decision can be made or agreed on and America fails to move forward.

I will not say vote Democratic, or vote Republican come 2012, I will say, find the candidate and party that will make the economy recover and do it quickly.  The name of the party or the person we elect will only matter if we pick the ones that can make fiscal and economic recovery their number one priority. Jobs, education, health, benefits all need to be addressed and dealt with in Congress and the White House.  Our biggest decision is not whether we kill Obama Care, or change Presidents, it’s how we can elect officials who understand the economy, understand creating jobs, understand extending unemployment and benefits and understand the American People’s need to grow, prosper and live well. You can’t continue to steal from Social Security to finance other programs, you can’t let the trade agreements be one-sided against us, you can’t allow jobs to go overseas. We can’t continue to fight other people’s wars, police other people’s countries and help other countries if we can’t help ourselves.

America’s next big decision in 2012 is really about saving America and her  people. America’s next big decision in 2012 is really this: Can America afford gridlock in Washington, spending in wars not our own, a Congress and White House, who, refuses to work with one another and no one working to create jobs or fix the economy.  No, so America’s next Big Decision in 2012 is how do we save the Republic and our own country from destruction and financial ruin? This is America’s next Big Decision, find a leader who can see the truth, deal with it and correct it, period!.

End of an Era in Red Sox Nation

As Terry Francona departs as Red Sox Manager in Boston, I stop and think of all the years I have been a Boston Red Sox Fan. I grew up sitting in my parents living room with my step-father watching the Red Sox year after year, do what they did this year, collapse and fade from playoff contention. We would sit there and yell and scream at the television screen or the radio station as we listened and watched when we could. And the ending for my step-fathers whole life was the same the Red Sox never won. My STep-father lived from 1932 to 1990 as a Red Sox fan, each year supporting the team and it’s dreams of winning it all. He never lived to see that happen, sadly. I believe when they did when it twice in the last 8 years he would have been one happy man.

I lived to see the Red Sox win the World Series, not once but twice now in my lifetime. And I believe Red Sox Nation and all of its fans owe Terry Francona a Thanks for his Managing and Leadership!. Francona brought a winning attitude and style to Boston and worked endlessly while in Boston to win it all.  As The Francona Era in Boston Red Sox History now passes by and he leaves, it would be well to remember for all Red Sox Fans and the owners, Francona did what no Red Sox Manager since 1912 could do, he brought not one but two World Series Titles to Boston. Thanks Terry Francona, Thank you very much, From:  A Die Hard Red Sox Fan!.

Generational Differences

Back in the 1950’s and 1960’s and before then children were made to earn what they got, today they are handed things for doing nothing. They get toys and books and electronic equipment today like it was bubble gum and candy when we grew up. Sadly this is making American children into people who expect the world handed to them.

Back then when you grew up your parents weren’t afraid to smack ya on the ass or upside the head straighten you out and make you fly straight. Then came the Cosby Kids of the 1980s. Don’t hit you kids, talk to your kids, if you hit your child you can be arrested or your child can divorce you, that’s where and when we went wrong!. The old spare the rod/ spoil the child went out, it should have stayed. The people born before the late 1970s know what it is like to be cuffed upside the head, spanked and made to earn what they have, they value it more.

Today’s children have computers, electronic video games and consoles, Iphones and text phones and tablets and more. They sit in front of a computer or Television screen staring at them, and being entertained. What ever happened to go outside and play, explore the world, play with your friends in real life?.

Today, people are computer literate, but have very few social skills. Manners are a thing of the past and rudeness rules. Kids want something now and they get it by hook or by crook, by pressuring their parents into it. Parents use computers and electronic gaming consoles to babysit their children instead of reading to them or playing a game with them. I know working by both parents takes up much of a person’s time, but when you’re a parent you should make time to be with your children and teach them. Not turn them into zombies who watch Television and play Video games and Computer games all day and night!.

I see too many kids running around with Iphones, laptops, tablets, and Gaming Consoles, who have no idea what a book, or an Erector set is, or a microscope or any board games may be. Ask them to play Scrabble and they can only spell four letter words, why is that?. It is a sad state of affairs and commentary on the state of our American Children. They are slow in learning, grades and levels incomplete, unable to socially communicate properly and lazy, because of all the above. Half of them have never roller skated or ice skated, gone sledding in winter, rode a bike or even know how anymore.

What ever happened to teaching boys to work for what they want, and the same with girls. What happened to Dad making his sons help fix the house or car, or mom making their daughters clean their homes or do laundry or dishes?. Discipline in the American Society has disappeared and gone south, we need it brought back. The Generational Differences I am speaking of are lack of discipline, control, manners and a lazy attitude of they will give it to me anyway and I deserve it. That my friends is why America is failing, these new generations have no idea what it is to work for something and earn it.

Political Bedlam and Foolishness

Political Bedlam and outright foolishness are taking over Washington and the Congress in both Houses. Stop the political infighting, partianship and start working together!. As the House and Senate bicker and infight and cause bedlam to rage, and be foolish it is the average american citizen that suffers for it.  When will this bedlam and foolishness stop?

I don’t care if some don’t approve of President Obama, or they don’t agree with his Healthcare, or tax plans or anything else. I do care if the bedlam and foolishness, takes away our way of life, our ability to havea home, or eat or get medical problems cared for. I do care if you take away Social Security or mess with Medicare.  I do care if you cut unemplyment or don’t work to make jobs! Why is all of it taking so much time to move American towarda  recovery economically and socially? What is wrong?

Infighting, then fighting between the parties , then the insert of the Tea Party in the middle and their demands. Wake up will ya folks, you have a country to run, not one to fight over. The American Economy and people need the bedlam and bickering and foolishness to stop now!

I love America, I wa sborn and raised here and served 16 years to protect and defend it. It is my birth place, my home and my life. There is no excuse for the politicians in Washington that we elected to stalemate, boog down, and stop from working, period. If Congress can’t get off it’s ass and find a way to turn the economy around, create jobs and do it without toching Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment and Veteran’s Benefits then they need to go home and find jobs in the public fields of endeavers like all citizens not elected to office. See how fast they would find a way to create jobs if the American People stopped keeping them in  office and made them go work for private companies, and they couldn’t find jobs!

Economic End

America is slowly but surely headed to economic ruin unless we turn it all around. The facts are facing us daily, markets continue to drop for American companies, our deficit rises daily, and as we all know our job market disappeared. The real question is do we have a political leader who realizes all of this and can lead us out of it once more to prosperity?

As I see it right now we have a bunch of Republican candidates lining up to take pot shots at President Obama, yet they have no firm solutions or ideas to turn around the job market and economy anymore than he does. Plus they work overtime to block anything going through Congress thinking if they do, it will make Obama a dead issue come 2012. Sadly, I don’t think so, nor do many other Americans, for Obama is doing what he can but being blocked by them.

As the manufacturing base of America disappears so does the American Economy. If we can’t manufacture cars, appliances, steel, and what we believe the world needs here in America, then what good can we do?. America was built on the backs of middle-income families and workers who filled these factories and made the parts and cars and items that fed the world. We now sit back and drive Japanese cars, what happened to good old-fashioned Fords and Chevy’s, and Chryslers? They are slowly disappearing at a fast rate from our roads. American car companies now want to move their factories overseas to save money! We must stop that at any cost!.

As our manufacturing base has ended and started to disappear we have in many states and cities and towns, turned to retail companies to get jobs. Retail stores and malls spring up all over America to only last a short period of time then they disappear. Why, simply because if you have no income, 9.7 unemployment, you can’t afford to eat, drink, party, or buy items for fun or even needed to survive.

Roosevelt gave us the new deal, and he created jobs by supplying weapons of war to our own military, expanding air lines and aviation and the military in general. He produced many industries and  companies by giving them tax breaks, assistance, and in the end because we were in wars. We can’t do that one again for sure, the wars we fight now a days for other countries, are no more than policing actions like we did in Korea and Vietnam and, those are indeed quicksand pits, that will swallow us up.

So to grow our economy I firmly believe we need to take some serious steps. 1) Renegotiate the Trade Agreements , get us back to exporting more than we import. 2) Give tax and tariff breaks and assistance to our own companies like Ford, and others GE included and  keep them in America or bring them back here. Companies like GE, Ford, Uniroyal and others disappeared oversea, due to costs to run them being too high, lets lower that overhead and cost for them and bring them home.

Unless Congress gets off its ass and realizes by stalemating and blocking any action of President Obama and not taking action themselves, they are not making themselves look good, they are destroying this country! Someone needs to tell their Congress, Representatives and Senators both, it’s time to wake up and move!. Act now or we shall all be facing changes we never will want to and can not escape easily!. Economic ruin and destruction killed many Empires and so did internal political struggles and fights, those Empires include, Rome, The Incas, and others over centuries of life. Economic endings , finish countries and coming to an Economic End is like committing suicide with a shotgun, we are blowing our own brains out. Do not allow Congress to blow our lives away, our freedoms away, and our stature in the world. Do not allow them to ruin our standing, they have the responsibility to build our country up, not tear it down and lead us to Economic Ruin or an Economic End!

Micheal Jackson’s Death

The Jackson 5 and the family that gave birth to this musical heriatage is unbelieveable in AMerican history of course. They are a very talented family that firmly believes in each other. The case of Micheal Jackson’s death is an item that will be talked about for my decades I am sure. But are we all sure Dr. Conrad Murray really is responisible for that death?

Following tapes of Micheal Jackson over the years, I believe one will find his health was declining throughout his 40s. He becomes lighters skinned, and weighs less each time you see him in public. His reactions slow down and his eyes are covered more and more by dark glasses. The change in Micheal from his youth to age fifty is enough in and of itself to give doubt as to if he was murdered, died by accident, or self injection, or by Dr. Murray’s hand. The truth I believe will never be known because Micheal died that day in 2009.

Should Dr. Murray be on trial for Micheal’s death? I believe the death of Micheal Jackson is being used for publicity and this trial of Dr. Conrad Murray is a farce for public consumption, and a show for the Jackson family. Murray is being used as the fall guy and was duped by Micheal Jackson into becoming his Doctor. He had no idea he was being hired by someone who was this far gone already and dependent on so many drugs.

I think in the end, more then likely Dr. Conrad Murray will end up convicted of Micheal Jackson’s murder because the public and the powerful Jackson family demands someone to blame and hang it on. As the trail gets underway, stop and think how far gone was Micheal before Dr. Murray came along? How did Micheal know of this propafal so well before Murray and who supplied it for him? Remember Micheal called it his milk!.

I will never accuse Micheal of being suicidal, but my view is he was well on his way, before Murray came along and Murray may have tried to help him quit his additions and failed at it, but MIcheal did this to himself.

Period on America’s Troubles

Is there anyone out there polically capable or running America?  That is the real question isn’t it?

It seems to me it matters not which political party is in charge this country continues to spiral in a downward turn economically. A president can’t run the country by themself, nor can a congress by itself. The only way to solve the problems facing America today is to vote in one party, the one you believe in the most come 2012. But please be carefull, what and who you vote for Americans, because you can get us into worse shape then we are now if not carefull.

As we begin the countdown toward the 2012 elections, I am looking at the Republican canidates and going are you kidding me. It’s the same old conservative bull again and a few who are raving over it, again and again. Then I look at President Obama and wonder, what happene dto the promise he brought to office with him/ In the end that promise was overshadowed and desroyed by the fact Americans voted the other party into Congress. Sadly we tried to do the old checks and balance routine and it blew up in our faces once more. We can’t afford it again in 2012, too muchis at stake folks.

As we all know, the biggest discussion for the elections in 2012 will concern items like, the economy, jobs, healthcare, Medicare, and Veteran’s Benefits. Also schooling and Welfare and Unemployment. We need to face these issues head on and correct the problems with Social Security also, but ending it is not the answer without a plan to change it to.

Then again, I stop and think of our history in bad economical times and in times of trouble and how America solves it all. We create, w einovate, we produce and manage to see it all through in one way or another. But we definitely need to do lots more of it, or our country is in big trouble.

Can we start first and foremost with extending unemployment for those out of work, opening up social programs to help the needy. Then, work on renegotiating trade agreements with other countries so in the end we export more then we import once again. Next we need to give tax breaks and change the regulations that forced our companies like Uniroyal and others, next in line is Ford, to not go overseas, but give them breaks to stay here. We need these companies to rebuild the blue collar backbone of the America economy and to make this country great once again. We can’t survive as the fifth biggest economy in the world.

Final topic, HealthCare. This subject is always gonna be a heated debate over Obama Care and whether it will work if given a chance. Listen folks, Obama Care lowers costs for most average americans on prescriptions and medical care in general. So unless you have a better way or a plan that will save lower income americans more money in the long run, you shouldn’t mess with it. period. I hope that makes sense, because when you compalin about something, but don’t have the solution in hand to improve it, or repair it, you should shut up about it. Period.

Passing On- A Short story I wrote, enjoy

Passing On
BY: William M. McCurrach

Ahhhhhhh…….. , the long road of life has been so nice, but the bumps
along the way, they push one through each day!” said,  I to my  youngest grandson.
Sitting back in my rocker on my porch in the warm spring air I realize
it is really me, and how fast life does pass by. The sun glows this spring
morning as the dew slowly slips from the trees and flowers. I stare out at a
world that has been good to me but, bad to me too and wonder how I got this
far, so soon.

The
struggles one has to go through to survive and be alive can be unbelievable for
some and   for others no struggles really
exist. Maybe it is just the luck of the draw to have rich parents and get
everything for free?   The better half of
the equation may be to have poor parents and to grow up with less so you learn
how to get what you want and need?  The
thought rests in my mind as I take a breath of the morning air and look down at
the youngest grandson. Wonder, what do I have to pass to you little one?  What is the most important thing a grandfather
can leave to his grandchild? Is it money, is it materials, is it writings and
books, old photographs maybe. I think not as I watch him play in the morning
sunlight, the sun bouncing off his golden blonde hair.  I think the best is to teach you to share!
Share who you are with the world little one, and they will share what they are
with you.
Leaning back in my rocker, I watch the little one play with his trucks
and cars, dreaming in his way of reaching for the stars.  I can remember when that was me so many years
ago. Now I watch him playing, and hope for his own good he takes it slow. Enjoy
life little one, take your   time and
have fun. Make the most from each moment you are here, but always remember to
care and share.

My
grandson looks up at me and asks, Grandpa, “What makes the world go round?”
Laughing I rock back in my chair and tell him” Son, the world goes round due to
forces of nature and  science, but what
really causes it to spin?” Well, that comes from all of us deep within.””
Without the lives we live and without the interacting of take and give, the
world might stop”, take it from your old Grand Pop!
Back to play , cars zooming across the porch, his smile bright as a ray
of sunshine, yes grandson keep having fun!  I watch and think back and know, he already
has had it better than me, or my children had it too.

Teaching a child how to play or do something
is vital to their life, and you pass on what you know and did to your grandkid.
We all do it sooner or later I think to myself, leaning back in my chair, as I
hold my pipe by its bowl and strike a match.

Lighting up   slowly
I inhale the taste of cherry tobacco and relax again. The smoke wafts across
the porch over my grandsons head, bringing a smell of cherry tinge to the air.  Ah yes I think, little one you have to be
taught to share, to care and most of all for you to be there for family.

He
rolls his truck over the boards and stops suddenly and grabs the next little
car and catches it up and then the next, lining them all up in a row. Yes
little one that’s how life shall go, line it all up in a row. Iif something
falls out of line, make it up and carry on for all time. If pain shall come as
it does for all, stand up and be counted and stand tall. A little pain will
make you stronger little one, it did my father, and it did me and even   my son
you see. Each of us suffers in some ways I think to myself   puffing
on my pipe and watching him play. Yes, a little suffering happens to everyone,
someday, you will have to be prepared for that too.
Smoking my pipe I hear the birds chirp around me and feel the air
growing warmer now in the spring. Birds start to sing and it warms a bit, the
flowers are out now and the leaves all green.
Ah, looking at my grandson, I
know what you need to be taught, that life is not always what it seems.  Knowing he will learn as I did too, that not
all kinds of good things just keep happening to you. There will be times you
will have to do without little one, you will have times when you have to fight
and run, and there will be times when you fear all or no one.   These
things happen to all of us, I think to myself, I hope your prepared for them
little one.
Puffing on my pipe, I smile as he keeps his line of cars and trucks all in
line and drives them like he has a lot of time. It makes me think he will have
to learn that time stops for no one and the world keeps on turning too. Taking,
another   puff I think on this one, how do you tell a
child so young that someday his time shall also come? Do you tell him about
life and death or comings and goings? Do you tell him how people you love
disappear suddenly and don’t return, how do you tell one so young that which he
must learn?
I stop and think of all the lessons I learned as a child, but I can’t
pass those on, The   world has changed and they will have to be
passed on in a new way. Rocking slowly back and forth I watch the little guy
play, he hums and laughs and smiles so bright, and makes me as his grandpa feel
so right. I want only good for him and his cousins and all the family. I hope
the lessons he learns will be good for him, instead of the bad ones like I had
learned.
I stop and stare, ah the bad ones, yes more   than
one for sure. Thinking back I think of my first vivid memory of my mother, her
slapping me across the room at five, for not holding still for her to dress me
for school. Ah no he won’t get that I am sure, or how my father told me, he
would shoot me and bury me in the ground and not care one bit, no I know he
won’t get that for sure.
My mind wanders back as I watch him play, I hope you get taught and
brought up a better way. You don’t need your feet burnt on a stove to learn not
to steal cookies; I pray you never get woken at night and beat senseless
without any reason why!  I pray you will
have it better my grandson, for I worked all these years trying to stop the
cycle of violence, so my grandkids would never see it or feel it.

Rocking slowly I think about how the holidays
were never holidays but fights, how the silverware flew and the Christmas trees
too, I close my eyes, the smoke  slowly
releasing from my lungs, and pray, Dear God Protect him, for they do not know.
Looking at the littlest guy he’s   the youngest, he plays and laughs and giggles
and then makes roaring sounds for his truck.  I pray he will have siblings who share and who
care and watch him closely too. Unlike the siblings I had, who never gave a
damn about me or you. Off they ran doing their own things, and leaving me
behind, I hope and pray for his young sake, his siblings will be closer and
better than mine.
Rocking back and forth slowly I chuckle at his play and happiness and hope
he will always be that way. I know it can’t always stay that way, as I learned.
Will he be ok when he finds his first love as I was, or will he have trouble? I
won’t know I am sure, but I am hoping he will have friends and siblings to
discuss it all with. Will he know what love really is and lose it; will he have
what he needs?

All I can do is rock and remember my first
love and what she meant to me. I hope his will be gentle and kind and have
those quiet talks and loving times, when the sweet caresses that are shared are
innocent and pure, and two young people find their way, to share a blessed
moment one night.

Will his first kiss be a memorable one, like
the one I had, way back in time? Will he kiss his first girl and know it is
right, will he be patient and do it all right? I don’t know for I may not be
here, but what is it that I must share?
Do I tell him what my father said to me, be ready, save and watch for
anything that can happen. The warnings my father taught me to watch for the
money flow that slows, the wife that pulls away, the car that can break down
almost any day.  Will he know and be
taught to save his money and be ready for a season, like the bears who store
honey? I know not for I am growing old, but I do know even now, he will always
be bold.
Rocking slowly now, I smoke my pipe; ah I do hope you do have a better
life.

A door swings open and out they come now all
seven grandkids   start, to run. They spread across the yard
yelling and screaming to one another, ah they are sister and brother.

My daughters have done a better job then I and
my wife at the time, did, for these are children, who enjoy being a kid. They
laugh, they play and they love, you can see as I stand here on my porch
watching them from above.

What
a pleasure it is to be so young, all that energy and nothing to really get
done. I do remember those days myself, as I watch the littlest one join them
all like an elf. He chases ,he runs , he laughs and smiles, but watching them
all, I see each kid has their own style, They dress all a little different yet
the same, and   but never once do they
leave anyone out of their game. They all play together in happiness and joy; I
wish it were that way for me, when I was a boy.
Back to my rocker I go to sit, lighting my pipe as I feel the pain from
my hip. Leaning back I watch as they all play, my breathing   getting
slower in a way. Relaxing and smiling at all I can see, when suddenly a
feeling of contentment overcomes me. I smile and eye each child in turn,
and   hope that each one will grow and
learn. I lean back in my rocker now, and feel it all inside. With a sigh and a
smile, I drop my pipe to the porch, and lean back breathing harder. My time has
come and I must go, but I hope as I do, that each grandchild knows, I love them
so.
My lungs hurt so and the pressure
in my chest gets worse and I sigh out loud, slumping in my rocker. Opening my
eyes in pain, I see the little guy, looking up at me as he starts to yell and
scream. Suddenly I see him no more, I can hear his cries, and want to wipe his eyes.
but my body doesn’t respond, my breath is ragged and the pain severe.
My daughters, I can hear them screaming, but it is all I hear, I think
well at least now I know they care. My body aches now and I can’t move all I
can do is hear the screams and crying.
The last thing I hear is my oldest daughter, her cries seem loudest to
me, but I can’t reply, but I can hear the fear in her voice, as she says, Daddy
goodbye!
Time has passed I awaken   in a hospital bed. There surrounding me are my
daughters and their children. Unable to talk, I look around the stroke has
taken my voice away.
Looking   once more, I see the littlest one, his eyes
red and full of tears. He is crying, then suddenly he turns to his brother and
hugs him close and I can hear him, he whispers to his brother, “it will be ok,
grandpa is fine’.
I turn as a nurse comes in and I
see and hear her say “it is time for more tests”. I look back as they wheel me
down the hallway and there is the little guy, comforting his siblings and yes
even his mother!    I am rushed down the
corridor and all flies by in a blur, I think I did it right he shares and cares
and shows it. I did pass on what I wanted to most!  The sharing and caring   for his family and being there is all intact.
I drift off to sleep in the operating room, as the mask is put over my face.
The next day, I awoke in
pain but alive.  Waiting for me as I did,
were my daughters, and my youngest   grandson.
I manage a smile and wave hello, thinking to myself, I did pass on the
caring and sharing and the sense of family, it worked. And I didn’t have to
pass on in another way, Thank God.

Empires all end! Is America’s the next one to go?

In History Empires all fall as do all dynasties and kingdoms. No empire has lasted forever and still exists today, yet the America Empire is still here, but for how long before we crumple like The Romans and others before us?

The only way America can survive is what history has shown us as a Republic and a Democratis country, we must now, start to restore and take care of our own. Our Economy is now the fifth best in the world and dropping. Our standing is being reduced in credit and our service members keep fighting others wars and policing other nations. We have to stop giving assistance to everyone else and start assisting our own. Americans are now losing their homes, have no jobs, working for food and living in cardboard boxes on the streets, why? Because our Congress, the people we elected can’t get their shit in one bag and find a way to create jobs!

You want to create jobs and bring companies back from overseas to America? Lower their taxes, give them tariff breaks, and support in trade agreements. Even the damn playing field for these companies.  Lets do somethings that will make sense!

         1) Renegoiate the trade agreements with China, Japan and other countries.

           2) Pay American companies to be inovative, and assist them in starting new companies.

            3) Set up a program to take blue collar workers who can’t find jobs and put them back in school to enter the white collar jobs. But at the same time invest in expanding the white collar job market.

             4) Shore up and reestablish the funding for Social Security, Medicade, Medicare and Veteran’s Benefits, The people on them need them and deserve them, they earned em all.

             5) We are always fighting someone else’s wars or policing their countries for them, why? Didn’t we learn in Korea, Vietnam,Cambodia and other places, it is stupid to police a nation that doesn’t want policed? Didn’t we learn from this history we can’t afford or continue to do this anymore?

Unless, America takes some very necessary steps in certain areas we will be the next Empire to fall in history. We may not fall in the same fashion as the Romans did, or the Incas, but we shall fall. A Nation didvided can not stand, a nation giving more then it can afford to to others can not either.

Before the American Empire, The United States goes down in history as the last Glorious Empire to fail, it is time for Congress, to act like sane individuals and adults, and compromise and get things moving again. A failure of Congress, in my opinion, is a call for a change in Congress, remove all the Senators and Representatatives and lets start over. Americans rise up tell your Senators, and Representatives to compromise and work together or get out! The American Empire and Republic needs to continue, don’t let it end!
