Today is the final weekend of the NFL Season for 2010-2011. The Season has been surprising in very few areas to me. The Chiefs of Kansas City are a surprise, as are the coming of The Rams. The biggest shock is the fall of the Vikings! Who will win it all is still to be determined because I think it all depends on the final entrants to the Super Bowl race, the Playoffs. Somewhere in there could be a dark horse team that can get on a run and win it all. Time shall tell us for sure, but, I believe the Favorites will be The New England Patriots.
As the second day of 2011 is now underway, I pray that our government here in The United States can agree and help it’s people create jobs and survive. I know the Republicans won one house and the Democrats own the other and the White House, but can both parties find compromise and move us forward is the real question! Remember what they told President Clinton, you politicians up in Washington, it’s the economy stupids! No blue collar jobs means many Americans out of work and unemployed, get creative and find a way to make more blue collar jobs to turn us around will you?
Final word for the day, On this day in 1982, my eldest daughter was born, after I walked her mother up and down the street of Norfolk, Va. for hours on end. Then I sat in the hospital waiting and waiting until 2;54 am when she was finally born. I learned some patience that day and evening and, I was happier then then ever since, cause I had a child and I was a father. Four years, almost 5 later her baby sister was born and happiness encompassed me again. Now many years later, my eldest is turning 29 today, and I just want to give a shout out to her,
Happy Birthday Eileen, May your Day be filled with Happiness and Joy and Plenty of Love!
Sorry I can’t be with you!
Love ya,
Dad
