Tired of Political Bull!

Tired of the political bullshit the candidates keep giving out, someone needs to break through to the truth I think. The Republicans want to blame Obama for the economy, the democrats and Obama want to place the blame on the other side. Sadly both are to blame, for the Obama Administration just added to the problem Bush made, by adding to the deficit.  The truth is these large bail-outs of banks and financial companies that took place did nothing more than add to all of this. When will we ever learn that spending money on top of bad money, just makes it all worst and all the money goes bad.

The economy needs help, and companies need help to survive. They can’t create jobs unless they can survive. Change the trade agreements and make America Number One again. Taxes have to be raised on imports, and lowered on American exports. Countries like Korea, Japan, China should be stopped from buying American companies and stopped from under cutting the price of our products in America with prices of the same products made in their countries. Sadly our Government is foolish enough not to see how countries we rebuilt, Japan, Germany, Korea, Vietnam and more are finding ways to undercut us and ruin our way of living. Why do we allow these things to carry on?

Across America now we have Occupy America Protests in different cities and states. American’s standing outside with picket signs and speaking of how the government is ruining our country. Sadly some of it is true, but also sadly some is not true and we all know it. Even as flawed and damaged as America’s Economy and Job system is right now we are still 80-90 percent better off then almost any other country in the world. If we want to improve back to where we were we must keep our jobs here, open new manufacturing plants, find new ways of being creative and innovative. We must give small companies and big companies too incentives and tax breaks to stay at home here in the U.S.A..

A while back a politician came to my home, this is a few years ago now. He was running for office and wanted to talk about the economy and what he could do to help the people in his district here. I told him then, and I say now, blue-collar jobs are what feeds the American Economy. The District I live in has no more manufacturing plants here. We had Uniroyal, Chase Brass and Copper, Timex and many more at one time. Now they stand empty and unused. Plants that our parents thrived in and lived off of are gone overseas or shut down completely. Why can’t we find a way to get some back and build new ones to replace what is gone? Also now for the last 25 years blue-collar workers who worked in these plants and factories, can’t get jobs anymore they walk the streets and have surrendered to the fact there are no jobs for blue-collar people. If we are not going to bring blue collar jobs back, then we need to retrain and assist these blue-collar workers in retraining and educating them for white-collar jobs then. Why build more malls and stores, retail is not the way to boost or increase the economy here and the faster ya build the malls and stores the faster they are closing down. Retail will never support the blue-collar workers in the job market nor can it provide the income for families to live in today’s economy and world. Something has got to be done soon, or we shall be slowly fading away as a nation, a society and a country that was once proud and strong. Tell your Congressmen and women and Senators too, we need a jobs bill, we need them to get off their fat asses and help Americans or get the hell out of office and let someone in who will!.
