Social Networks as well as communication programs work well, except when you do what you want and they don’t want. Take programs like Yahoo chat they used to allow you to chat and have fun, now they restrict things you say and the rooms you can get to. Then there is Second Life, you enter one landmark and all is ok, you enter another and don’t do what they like or say what they like and it’s oh we shall ban you. That is not being sociable, that’s being foolish. Anyway I am finding social programs and chat rooms boring these days anyway.
That subject now covered lets talk about the ability of too many lonely people hanging out on the internet and the expansion of it all. The internet is one hell of an invention and it is good for research, chat, communication, reading, writing and more. Shopping occurs on it daily, people chat daily and people shop daily using it all. It has put the world into people’s homes through a computer monitor and speakers. It is the coolest thing ever really. Though it does have its downfalls too. The biggest downfall is the availability of adult sites to just anyone who can get online. There needs to be a program or process by which age verification is assured. Naked bodies flashing themselves across the internet or outright sex scenes should be blocked and some form of age verification enforced. Explicit sex between adults should not be available for download or viewing by children, period.
