Like the winds that whisper thru the trees in the middle of a dense woods in October, my words whistle through and are never understood of heard. There is an old saying, if a tree falls in the middle of the woods does it make any sound? Well, if you write a blog and no one reads it does it make a bit of difference in the world? I can answer to both the noise is being made but no one listens because it affects no one in anyway.Such is the case with my blog I believe. few read or hear what I say.
If I complain, I am called a whiner, if I ignore I am ignorant, if I am foolish or stupid shame on me. Isn’t it funny how the only people really heard in the world are the ones with the loudest voices who scream all the time?. The average human being is ignored except by the few who care for them. Funny huh?
I have watched trials and seen convictions of people for crimes they committed on tv. I am watching The Murray Trial myself, daily, and if anyone tells me this poor guy who was duped into being Jackson’s supplier and administrator will not be convicted well I say bullshit. The deck is stacked against the guy as i see it. Plus in the end, with the King of Pop dead and now long gone, the real point is why would a Doctor, provide such drugs and services unless it was just for the money? No idea, because it certainly was not your normal Doctor/ Patient relationship.
That said and done, I suppose I should think about going back to finishing or at least writing more of my story/ book I started. My only wonder is will it ever sell, or would anyone want to read it. I guess unless I finish it and attempt to sell it I shall never know. In my case nothing is the normal, so the story will probably sell, but after I am dead and gone.
Writing is an art and a way to express emotions, feelings, hopes and fears. It is also a way to face facts and work things out. I think most writers, write for the purpose of reliving what may be causing them inner turmoil, and i am no exception for sure. So a writing is what I will do I suppose.
Politics would be my next subject. Not only politics but the economy and the status of the USA. America god bless us, is in a shambles today due to past mistakes, Presidents and stupid decisions. As Americans we need to be very careful who we put into office, both in the White House and Congress. We have made foolish choices not based on what is important to the country and our way of living and status, but on personal opinions and maybe even racial divides and statuses.
I served my country as a solider, sailor for sixteen years, in the 1970’s and 1980’s I did sixteen years folks between three services. I am proud of serving my country and I am proud of being a Disabled Veteran who did so also. I suffer from injuries sustained in the service and I shall always do so, but I do so proudly. I have the following conditions: six herniated discs in my spine that go in and out of alignment constantly, bouts of PTSD and nightmares, sleep apeana,arthritis,and more, But at no time, do I beg for unneeded help or assistance and neither do millions of other Veterans who served their country. So please don’t take aim at the few benefits us Veterans get in Disabilities, at our Social Security that keeps us alive. Please don’t attack the helpless and ask us to sacrifice more, take some from the rich who continue to enjoy living high on the hog at the expense of us. We paid our dues, can’t the rich help and pay theirs?
As my hands cramp in agony and pain, my back aches from the cold and hurt, and my breathing comes in gasps at times, I ask: Isn’t it time the United States asks the rich who benefitted so much from the Veterans who served so long and now ache in pain,actually pay their fair share to keep America going and help out? I ask Congress, the President and the so-called leaders of this country, Do you really think we Veterans stood for this country and fought where needed as well as sacrificed as we did for ourselves? I know as a Disabled Veteran, when I stood watch at sea or on a base, or did anything in a military uniform, I did not do this is for me , I went and did this for those I Love at home and so they can live and laugh in the Land Of the Free, not for me. So my parents, siblings, children, relatives and friends can live free is why I did it you see. So when you sit down and eat and sit in Congress or the White House and go all of America must make sacrifices, stop and think, when you ask middle Americans, or lower-income Americans to sacrifice more, haven’t we finally done enough?
Wareen Buffett, Donald Trump and others all said the same thing: We wouldn’t mind paying extra because we have it. Let them finally contribute with the one thing they have money and help our government and nation back to our feet.I say it is time Congress stop looking at Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security and Disability payments of the lower class or middle class, or disabled and start looking at the rich, and well to do to pay more. Isn’t it about time, the rich who claim to want to help actually get to really help?
