Usually I will not write two blogs in a day, but today I found it important to make a point by doing so. This one is all about Vice President Mike Pence and his departure from The San Francisco vs, Indianapolis NFL Game today, in Indiana.
Vice President Pence made a clear statement by leaving the stadium over the Kneeling Protest for the National Anthem. I agree with the Vice President and i would have left also, if i were there or at any other NFL Game. I hear the announcers and those on news networks like CNN saying the players are doing the protest due to social injustice, but I also understand by doing so the NFL and their Players are disrespecting the National Flag, The COuntry and The American Veterans who serve this country, and those who are Disabled Veterans and Veterans in any way. I know i will hear the hymmning and hawing of African American Players in the NFL Regarding what I am saying, but I don’t give two shits what they think, but they better care what the fans think. The fans of the National Football League pay to see the games on Television, pay per view and public and at the Stadiums, and deserve respect also, as do all who served this great nation to give you the rights to protest at all.
The National Football League, it’s owners and players, need to realize that by protesting during The National Anthem what they are saying and doing to those who serve and protect this great nation. You want to protest, protest at a different time in public and make you social injustice statement in a different venue or way. You are disrespecting the people who serve this country, the meaning of the Constitution,The Bill of Rights and the reason the Forefathers brought America to be.
I am pissed off at The National Football League, it’s owners and it’s players for protesting during the National Anthem of the Nation that gives them the right to protest and live free period. I am a fan myself and a disabled veteran who served 16 years and gave his health to protect and defend those who do so today at these football games and I disagree with their method of protest. You want o protest and kneel, do so, when you enter the stadium, or when you leave, but never during the Anthem of the greatest nation on the planet of earth. So pissed off and angry I have stopped watching the games on television, and for me who is a lifetime fan to do so says one hell of alot. Social Injustice my ass, it’s just damn wrong what the players are doing and what the Owners are allowing, period.
I didn’t give my health and well being to my country to be disrespected in this manner. I am asking NFL Fans everywhere to turn the games off on television and for the sale of expensive tickets to the games to stop being bought! I am asking for fans and people in general, to ban the NFL and Players and Owners from their lives, until they stop the protest and stand as they should for the National Anthem.
So, To Commissioner Goodell, All Team Owners and Players I hereby, ban you from my life and I hope millions upon millions of fans will also understand and join me in my Protest of The NFL, it’s Owners and Players, Period, Shut them off folks they are disrespecting the men and women who serve and protect the rights of all Americans.
