The We society of the 1960s, and 70’s turned in the 1980’s into the me Society of now! Sadly, people have become the me society, of me, mine, my way, and the hell with what others want!  It used to be different and trust, caring and helping used to be in America. Let me give you an example of what I speaking; You drive down the road today and see people with a car broken down or a flat tire and what does everyone do today, they fly right by and never once stop to help the person. In the 1960’s one would pull up next and ask if they need help, today they will run ya over instead of help you.

It is also a world of having more than your neighbor or relative and bragging too. Sadly the world has become a everyone for themselves world. We ignore pain, suffering and hurt to normal average human beings and make big deals out of murderers and thieves and more, why? Why do we plaster O.J. Simpson on TV, Casey Anthony, Jodi Arias, and other mass murderers on the screen of everyone’s TV? Must we give them their moments of glory and fame at the cost of the victims?

We study and report wars overseas and pour billions, sometimes zillions of dollars into protecting, policing and helping nations whose people hate us, what a waste of money, time and effort. I have seen too many politicians in my lifetime, promise the world to Americans and then back off due to political pressure, or not putting an effort into a solution for a problem.  Gitmo, Cuba is one such problem, a jail compound filled with terrorist living free off the Americans money, they hate and try to kill. Not a one of them has been tried in  military court or a civilian court and convicted, why?  All of them should have been tried convicted and executed long ago, and not be a money munch er in our economy cause we babysit them. We can’t afford it anymore, shut Gitmo, Cuba down, even if our Navy uses it as a Training Facility, move the training elsewhere!

Next Problem the solvency of Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare!. What the hell is wrong with the picture of these institutions failing and running out of money? The Postal Service also is running out of funding too, right? Where are the funds going that hard-working Americans have been paying into for decades and over a century? Someone tell me why Uncle Sam can divert funds that don’t belong to them to other projects without Americans permission this way. Americans have paid into Social Security for all their working lives, now Uncle Sam say, oh we are running out of funding for it, so we may have to cut back, bullshit. American rely on those payments, just as Disability Payments for Veterans are vital. Congress is full of shit when they say they can’t fund these plans and payments, if we did it for prior generations, if we did it for the former Veterans, the Disabled up to now and had Medicare and Medicaid working just fine we can do it again damn it. Stop bullshitting us, Congress, get off your asses and go to work!

       One of the saddest things in America, is the fact that Americans who worked hard all their lives and earned their homes, cars, and properties are losing them, because Congress will not act and stop the internal bickering. If American’s have one bit of intelligence in their heads, they will use their votes  and voices to stop the stalemate and move the country forward. If it doesn’t work then we should replace all of the Senators and Congressmen and start over with individuals who worry about the nation and it population more then themselves!

   

            Why do the days have to end?

            We all eventually do what we have been put here for,

My Opinion of Election 2012.

      I am now 56 years old this year going on 57 early next. I was born when Eisenhower was President, and realized who Kennedy was at my youngest political insights and views. I have been through each and every President since, including the current one and seen all the opposing candidates too, never once did I ever hear a candidate for President, group 47 percent of the people voting as poor. entitlement dependent weak people. Nor did I ever hear a candidate talk down any race, color, nationality until now!. I am a little pissed off and angry that a political party in the United States of America would put forth a candidate like this as their person as their nominees for the Greatest and most Powerful Position in the World. Sad is all I can say to the Republicans! But to me, even sadder would be the fact that Americans may vote this man into office and screw themselves in the end. I pray we won’t people, if you wake up!

LIke many mealy-mouthed,political savvy people in the world who will say anything to get what they want, Romney will too. How can you belive a man who made comments about that many people and than said, oh that’s not what I meant! Oh he meant it women and Gentlemen and he will do as he said, he will end entitlements for seniors, disabled, unemployed and more if he gets in and he will lower taxes on the rich and take away healthcare reform. So, I say you better know America what your voting for. What is really at stake here; 1) Social Security will go bye-bye 2) Medicare and Medicaid will become voucher programs and you will have to shop for Doctors and medical help in a competitive market again, will very little chance of getting help.3) ObamaCare wil be replaced by some program Romney thought up and thinks is better and it will only get worse! 4) The U.S. Postal Service will go under and disappear and the whole world will need to buy computers to get mail!. 5)Taxes will rise on people who make under 250 grand a year and the full burden will shift to the middle class and lower class people who hurt already, while those above that level will get bigger tax breaks than before. Sad huh?

Romney upset everyone in Europe with his attitudes, his stumbles, and his mouth, he angered many. Than came home to run here and still he opens his mouth and screws up. He bad mouths lower class and middle americans, he puts down Latinos for what? Americans listen up this man has no ideas how to run America, nor does he have one policy, plan for jobs, the economy or anything else!. He is winging it as a candidate and changes his mind constantly and doesn’t care about the average American, what he cares about is paying less taxes himself, getting richer himself and the prestige and power of the Presidency is just an award, prize he is working to win, to better his name and make it into history, not to help the people, but himself.

Anniversaries Go By.

     This Am, I awoke to realize it is the 12th, anniversary of the day my wife and I got married!  Seems like yesterday when as two younger people we joined in marriage in the backyard of our new home together.

12 Years have passed as of today, 12 years of laughter and tears, hopes and fears, ups and downs and just plan hanging around! 12 years of a love and joy and even anger and arguments, but in the end we always repent!.  So as the day goes by slowly today, for my wife and I and we help her daughter and her children settle in a new home, and we look at a new property close there, so no one is alone. We look back at 12 years and say it for sure, we wouldn’t have it any other way, my dear!
