Oklahoma , Global Warming, Murderers, and Writing

The Oklahoma Tornado tore through the small town there and destroys building, children and adults, making a town of sadness and hurt once more in America. I pray for the survivors and the dead and hope they recover somehow and send my condolences to those who lost relatives in it.

I hope rescue efforts and help is on the way to them and Uncle Sam should kick in and help, not only with the clean-up, but with benefits and help for the families.

That said, the world still carries on, with sadness yes but time will move forward.America has disavowed, Global Warming yet the evidence is everywhere in the world that you look. Someday, people of the world will destroy the planet we live on and exhaust the resources we have, then what?

We pollute, we destroy, we strip and kill our planet just as sure as we have murderers in our numbers. Sadly we can’t change the weather or global warming, nor can we control weather fronts or rain, or snow. Wish we could so we could prevent some of the disasters in the world we have to face and overcome.

Next subject, murder in America, The current hot case is The Jodi Arias Case in Arizona. She murdered her boyfriend Travis Alexander, in cold blood and premeditated and now faces the Penalty Phase in her case, the choice must be made by the jury to recommend death or life for her. Is Jodi Arias worth saving, is there anything in her life, if she lives can she have any redeeming value, to save her life for?

That said and done, because it will go down, in a court of law in Arizona today, Jodi Arias must speak if she plans to save her own life and show remorse and beg for mercy More than once her Attorneys have tried to back out of the case due to Jodi Arias not following their plan of attack, and not listening to them. But The Judge said no each time and i agree with the Judge, Jodi Arias may believe she is smart enough to save herself, but she isn’t. Nor should anyone in a criminal procedure in court be their own lawyer.

Final word for today by me, I continue to attempt to write poems and stories and post them on Kindle E-books, hoping to be recognized, and sell a few. I may not be the greatest writer in the world but at least I am trying to create and be different and make some money.

Dreams Don’t Go Away

I dreamed of peace. I dreamed of joy, I dreamed of things like all little girls and boys.

I dreamed of love, I dreamed of caring, I dreamed of a family full of sharing.

I dream of all that could be, why couldn’t my dreams come true for me?

My Dreams were like every other child’s,

A World of fun, love and things so wild,

I did not dream of what happened to me,

I did not pick my mommy and daddy!

I did not ask to be brought into this world,

Any more than any other boy or girl!

I did not dream of living in fear,

I did not dream of siblings, who would not share,

Or, a mother and father who had no care.

I did not ask for the beatings I got,

I did not ask to be hurt and threatened to be shot.

I did not ask for the memories I got,

Where I wake up running and sweaty from who knows what!

I dreamed of peace, I dreamed of joy,

I dreamed because I was a little boy.

The years of dreaming have gone by,

But I still feel the pain and see the beatings in my mind’s eye.

I see the poker coming down on my head,

His big hands, grabbing me, and pulling me from my bed.

I wake up sweaty, my body trembles, my mind races to survive,

My dreams you see were real for me,

Back when they were alive.

So, as you raise your children today, think of the pain of my memories and how they won’t go away!.

Please treat your children better is all I can say!.

Don’t Think the missing parent is missing on their own!

Today’s subject may upset some people, and some children of people who were raised by second parents, like step-moms, or step-dads. But the subject must be discussed because I find the fact the some people think, because their original birth parent is not with them growing up that we forget them, don’t love them or like being replaced or that we left on our own free will, we didn’t. Parents leave their children behind for many different reason and if the parent is decent they will come back later and try to straighten out the feelings their children have of abandonment. We didn’t ask to be divorced, nor did we ask for the circumstances we had at the time, and not always are we responsible for leaving, we were forced out by the parent your living with, always remember that! Choice had to be made at the time of the leaving parents departure, like where would my kid or kids be better off, why would they be better off there and would I or could i raise them on my own. For many fathers the truth is they won’t be able to handle raising a child on their own, they work too much and they can’t handle all of it alone. Even if most father’s won’t admit it it is true!

No father, or mother would voluntarily walk away from their child, unless they are on Alcohol or Drug Addicted, or Mentally Ill in some way.So the assumption by many children missing one parent or another, is the automatically to blame the missing parent. Wrong folks, it is more likely the parent you grew up with, the mother is the one that asked for the divorced and forced the father out for her own reasons. So reevaluate it and see the truth.

Disrespect, lack of Discipline in America?

As I read the morning news and see it on television each day, I begin to wonder, why the American People who elected President Barrack Obama, don’t call him President or Mr. President that often? Is it his skin color, or doesn’t he act Presidential enough, or stand his ground enough, what is it! I get angry when I hear newscasters from CNN, CBS, ABC, HLN, Or NBC which are all the biggest stations and networks in America call him just Obama! Why is this, I would like an answer to it please, they speak about any former President and it is president immediately, but with this man they just want to call him Obama. Pure disrespect if you ask me, and sad that Americans let it happen every day on Television and in news print too.

I find it upsetting that Ambassadors, Senator and even Congressmen and women get addressed by their titles all the time, but a President of The United States doesn’t on a constant basis and he has been duly elected not once but twice? What is happening in America? Sadly, America is losing respect for itself not just it’s Presidents and that is what is wrong with this country, as we fall down the ladder of countries slowly over time, Respect, Honor, Loyalty, Trust, and the ability to use manners, ethics and morals are disappearing from our society we need to bring it all back. Sadly, if it continues as it is, America will fall like all the great Civilizations before us in the world, They all fell from grace and power due to the crumbling pieces I mentioned above and greed. So, America wake up, fix it and lets stay on the top!.

Friday, Lacking Items in 2013 America!

Friday has arrived in America, it’s a night when most get off work and have free time by Saturday for two days at least. Amazingly, what we choose to do with the two days off from work we have is amazing to me, people do some strange things and others do normal things. The American perspective on free time, run from exercise, to riding, bike, powered and non and so much more. Sports, Movies, meals, shopping, clubbing, concerts, amazingly America has it all. What isn’t amazing is the fact not everyone can afford these things. Movies are now 8 dollars a shot, shopping everything is rising in prices, gasoline prices are high and not dropping soon it seems. SO what are Americans to do for pleasure when it takes them half of what they can save in a week to have fun on the weekend? The answer for many is what costs less, rent a movie, a game, read a book, go on the internet and chat or play or search for items of interests. The thing is America can not afford to pay for High School Sports anymore, and the school systems are going broke too. America is becoming a nation of people whose interests are not as varied as they used to be, the question is why?

I can’t explain the many changes in American society and culture I have lived through in my life alone. This country is continuously changing in nature in interpersonal relationships, In work ethics, morals and more. It amazes me how few people have any morals, ethics or manners in America these days. Ever notice few men open doors for their women, few men pull a chair back for women, few know to say God Bless You when someone sneezes. The basic manners and morals and ethics of the generations before us, are disappearing in American Society and culture why? Is it the schools faults due to budget cuts, or is it in fact the fault of the parents who raise our children these days? In the 1960’s if a child talked back to a parent, stole something or swore, they paid a price, a bar of soap in their mouth, a smack upside the head, a spanking, or at the very least being grounded and their toys and games taken away. Not today, Today parents put the video game consoles, and tvs and radios and cell phones in a kids room. Sadly no real punishment is being applied to a child in this way and they laugh it off! Sad isn’t it?

The days of a disciplined child who knows right from wrong seems gone in America, and as long as parents, teachers and adults in general don’t teach children respect, manners, ethics, morals, the American Child will keep growing unruly, depressed, sad, unhappy and out of control. If it worked in American Society for so many generations to teach our children moral, ethics, manners and honesty and truth it should work today too. Racism has no place in America, hatred has no place here either, we are a nation now under attack by other nations who wish to destroy us and kill our people we need discipline for our children, we need education for our children, we need to provide them with Social Security, Medicare and the Benefits we had as we grew older too. Someone has to tell congress and America, wake up, do what is right protect Social Security, protect Medicare, Medicaid, The Postal Service, jobs and Education for our future Generations, tell Congress and The Senate and The President the Country needs all of-these things and Government that works not bickers and fights constantly! Make the Government do their jobs they were voted in to do! Contact your Senator, Your Congressman or woman and tell theme enough!

Welcome to the middle of

Welcome to the middle of May 2013, a month where the temperatures have been colder then normal but the news has been hot and mean. Syria is killing it’s own, Afghanistan is killing Americans, Benghazi is killing Americans, and in the end we are killing each other too. Mass Murders, killings, trials, all across the country, and a legal system that can barely handle anything!. What is next in America?

We have basically destroyed the world we were born into and which sustains our lives. We pollute it and strip it of it’s resources, from water to gold and silver and trees and more. We pollute the air we ourselves breathe and we call ourselves human beings?

Humanity and the American Society are both in severe trouble these days. Humanity is on the brink of destroying itself due to it’s own stupidity by killing the atmosphere and planet we live on we are killing ourselves, faster then any disease, guns or drugs can do. Why?

Here is a thing to think about folks, back in the early 1900’s America experienced The Depression, we had no money, struggled to eat and find work and finally found our way out it over time. Today we are suffering in other ways, the staples of the America Economy and lifestyle are dying off or being depleted and no one is noticing are they? I tell ya the past great civilizations did the same things to themselves. The Mayas, The Aztecs. The Romans, and more all depleted resources, had riots and destruction and died off, are we America the next most advanced and strongest society and Civilization to self destruct? can we prevent it and if so how?

Differences in Society, that need changing back!

As I age I notice many differences in America that were not here before. The years have passed since I can remember a friendly America, where we all helped one another. What happened to those days? Does anyone remember when a child got hurt, a neighbor would help, or when someone got a flat tire on the road people would stop and help you?

How about when children of all colors and races ran together and played together in the backyard of a project or town or home and no one tried to kill each other? When color didn’t matter or nationality didn’t matter because you were too young to know the difference and no one shoved the idea of differences into your head?

Each Day, I see it on the news, the whites attack the blacks, the blacks attack the white and Hispanics and the Hispanics attack both whites and blacks and retaliation comes into play in big shootouts or murders. Why? What happened to the society of America, where it was all for one and one for all? It still exists once we all grow up and join the military as adults, but then disappears once we get discharged. Why? We all live on the same on the continent and in the same damn country, yet we allow outside influences to change what we are, and to cause division among Americans! Stop it Please and wake up, a child is a child whether white, black, Hispanic oriental or any other nationality or color. Who cares, a child needs to live to make the world better and to continue mankind. We basically are so ignorant at time we forget no matter what nationality, color, ethic background, we all bleed red! Anger needs to be removed from American Society so we can live in peace and ensure safety for all.

We also need to get to a point where we remember to care for our Disabled, our Veterans, our elders too. If they are elderly they earned respect don’t forget it, if they served their country don’t forget them or let them suffer and if they are disabled no matter whom they need help and respect also. This country owes so much to the people who came before you, that you tend to forget, they set the basis for what is next, and they thought of you first not themselves.

In closing, as i look back in time i think of my youthful days, in the 1960s, when it was indeed a we society, not the me society it is today. There was respect for each other back then, there was an atmosphere of trust among neighbors and friends and people mingled and talked to one another and communication saved this country. We need to find that society once more.
