Apple I-Pad and Apple Prices

Apple yesterday introduced its new I-Pad, better graphics and faster internet speeds through 4G instead of 3G. Although I do not own an I=Pad at all, or any Apple products due to prices and finances, I think they make great products. But in the case of this I-Pad the new one, I don’t see why they brought it out now.

Apple’s Computers have been well made and long-lasting on a regular basis now for sometime, yet the price of the Macs, I-Macs, are so high very few average americans can afford them. While Dell, Acer, Aspire, and HP produce computers under 500.00 dollars a shot both desktops and laptops, Apple Computers maintain the large profit margins attached to theirs, why?

If I had a good 1500.00 dollars or better to buy an Apple Computer I would, definitely after looking at them recently in an Apple Store. The big screens, the smoothness of their operating system, are fantastic. Their all in ones are great products too, and I hope they have the current problem with over heating of others all in ones figured out and beaten.

While my sister is a big fan of Apple products, and owns the I-Pad, The I-Pod and loves them, I do not have her money or job, I am a retired American Disable Veteran, with a bad back and on disability and social security. I dream of a I-Mac computer with a big hard drive and screen and lots of memory daily and look at them online wishing. Life it seems is not always fair is it?

The prices of Apple Products period has always been my main reason for never owning them, otherwise I would. Apple is one hell of a company overall and it’s products are well made and usually last a long time, their operating system, is stable and seems to stop all viruses, it seems to me and others.

As a blogger, and writer, I do this blog, and stories, poems and rants and raves, plus, write separately too, a Mac or a I-Mac, or Mac Laptop would probably be great to have, but I can only afford PCs.

I have compared I-Pads to other tablets, and found the graphics better and the speed better in I-Pads, but again I settled for a lesser priced Tablet due to prices and money flow. The American economy is hurting and so am I as a disabled veteran here, so I settle for what I can afford and dream of better.

Apple should be congratulated on its suggest in many ways, and I guess the Average American who does not have a 50,000 dollar job or income will have to not afford such fine products, but isn’t that life!

Mitt won Six/ Stooges still slapsticking!

Mitt won Six/ Stooges still slapsticking!.

Mitt won Six/ Stooges still slapsticking!

Heard it all before now!. The Republicans are still going Mitt Romney is the front-runner, not the eventual nominee. Well, if that is so Republicans it is your own fault for dragging this out as long as you have not Mitt Romney’s.

Last night I sat and watch some of the results come tumbling in for So-Called Super Tuesday. I thought to myself as it did happen, why, oh why are these Republicans doing this to their candidates and their hopes for a run at the White House come November?. Why destroy your own chances to beat President Obama if you’re a Republican by not solidifying and consolidating behind one candidate and starting to aim for the position now!. It strikes me not only as strange but stupid for the Republican Party to do this!.

Barbra Bush said it herself, this is the nastiest, dumbest thing she has seen in Republican Politics or Politics in decades!. As the people of the United States vote and make their choices as to who will run against President Obama, the Republican Party needs to get united and together and back one man now. The time is ticking, and you have a very short time between Convention and the actual Election. Wake up!.

What kind of game are Santorum, Gingrich, and Paul playing here and why? I have heard it is the conservatives that Romney can’t get, well that should be bullshit too. Every time I turn around its one excuse or another why, Conservatives won’t back Romney. It doesn’t matter how you rationalize it Republicans, if you don’t support Romney, the other three have no chance at all.

I have said this before, now I shall say it again, the Republican Party is running  this primary like a Three Stooges comedy short! If you look at the four of them on stage it is indeed one, as they poke and stab and slap each other around during debates and speeches. Mitt Romney is like Moe, Gingrich is Curley, Santorum is Larry, and finally but not least comes in Ron Paul as Shemp, then they get on stage and do each other up as America laughs at them!. Why do this to yourselves and the Republican Party and look so stupid and assine to the American People?

As we go forward in this primary round to choose who shall be the Republican’s candidate, someone needs to tell the Stooges, then time has come to retire at least two of them!. As in real life, the Stooges lost first Curley to a heart attack and he passed away. And then Shemp went next dying young too, this cast of the Stooges needs that to happen here and now in the primary race. I don’t mean literally, I mean they must drop from the race and make this a two-man race, both Curley=Gingrich and Shemp=Paul, had their moments of fame and sunshine, but it is now time to drop out and back one of the remaining two front-runners and let Republicans make their choice too.

As Super Tuesday for March 6th, 2012 came to a close last night, two states were left to decide at my bedtime, they were Ohio and Alaska. Both of which went to Mitt Romney’s corner in the end. While Rick Santorum made a mad dash at this nomination and went after Romney to stop him what is the purpose of doing this, what is his reasons to stay in the race?

I, for one can not fathom a reason for the Three Stooges to try to stop the fourth from getting the nomination. Even in the old Three Stooges movies and shorts, no matter how divided they were, in the end they all followed Moe! The Time has come men, and it is proven no matter how close the votes were in some states, Moe=Mitt Romney will become eventually the nominee I am sure, get onboard and make his a swifter faster ride to beat President Obama or, watch the wheels come off the republican band wagon and you all fall together into a gully!.

So Called Republican/ Super Tuesday!

So Called Republican/ Super Tuesday!.

So Called Republican/ Super Tuesday!

March 6th, 2012, Super Tuesday, so-called in the Election Cycle year. Four Republicans are stumping, talking, screaming and jumping for votes across the land. Four Republicans who must by now realize they can’t win the Nomination they seek on their own.

Romney may be the front-runner at this stage and after today’s vote, will probably be on a glide toward the nomination of his Republican Party.

The close contender now in second place who will more than likely slowly fade is Rick Santorum. But we all know Mr. Santorum has much baggage, social views that are ancient regarding women and is pushing social issues period. It may take a another round of voting after the so-called Super Tuesday that is today, but it will eventually happen, it has to.

Newt Gingrich, the man who may take Georgia his own state, must also know he really has no chance at his Party’s Nomination.  The money for his run is drying up, his speeches are slowing down and he sits now waiting for tonight’s results. Whether he wins his home state of Georgia or he doesn’t, Newt must also realize with his baggage and his record, and his current state in this field of candidates he has no way in hell of  winning the Nomination. Someone should tell him to suspend his run and get it over with, support Romney and make a difference.

Ron Paul, God Bless you for running and having fun doing it and bring laughter and logic to the Debates. While all the others stood there tearing each other apart and giving the Democrats ammunition for the Fall, you stayed on your message. While Sir, you will more than likely get a say at the Republican Platform at the Convention in August, you also know you can  not wrestle the Nomination from either Romney or Santorum by now.

As Super Tuesday or as some say, Not So-Super-Tuesday gets underway, across America millions will be going to the polls and voting for the Republican they want to face President Obama in the fall, and who may have the best chance of beating him or giving him a run for his money. So what would I ask these four men to do, after today?

If Willard MItt Romney gets the majority of the votes and the delegates, I suggest he run hard, run straight at President Obama and consolidate the Party quickly, he will need all his guns to fight it out and try to win in the fall. Mr. Santorum needs to drop and support Romney after tonight’s results, if you only win one two or even three states Mr. Santorum all you are doing is hurting the Party’s eventual nominee and killing any chances of a Republican win come November.  Again I recommend, suspend your run after tonight’s votes are in, the same should be said to Mr. Paul and Mr. Gingrich too. Men unless you are still in your High School modes and days of yore, it is time to stop the silly debates and attacks on Romney and each other and pack it in and support one man. Your can’t win a war men, if you continue to give the bullets, ammunition, weapons to the enemy, can you?

■Loneliness

  • Loneliness
  • By: William McCurrach
Loneliness comes in many forms for many different people,
Some get so lonely and think of ending it all,
Then, they stop to think, is it all worth it,
But don’t ask anyone else, because the reply,
    Will bring a tear,
And that in and of itself; is a scare.

Many times the solitude and quiet can get to the mind,
It can make one think, they have no hope,
It can make one feel stupid and like a dope.

So when you think it is not all worth living,
And you are so depressed,
And you get tired of always giving,
Don’t give up; remember always, that someone,
Somewhere out there,
Does care, so pull your self up, stand proud,
Join the world, join humanity and the crowd.

Sunday, a Slow Day for Relaxing

While many across America and the world look at Sunday as religious day and get up get dressed and washed and eat quickly and run off to church, I find it a day of relaxation, not church. I guess I am not a religious person at heart and stopped going to church as soon as I was old enough to determine for myself.

Anyway, since today is Sunday and a day of rest and relaxation for me, I am going to post a poem for this day. I hope all enjoy!

Sleepless Nights  William M. McCurrach

I awake in a cold sweat,

Remembering the nightmares I have still and yet.

Each night dreamless and restless,

Because I know I have lost, the best part of me,

I dream no more, each night a black deep hole,

Dreams have vanished, thoughts are dead,

There is, a blackness in my head.

What happened to my dreams?

What happened to my wishes, my wants, my needs,

I have no more of these,

So it seems.

Each night brings pain in my back, my stomach and my heart,

The pain I can live with, if need be,

But the dreams were once a central part of me.

Sleepless nights,

Full of darkness ,

Full of fright!.

How I hate when the sun goes down,

Knowing when it rises again,

I may not be around!.

The sleepless nights, bring to me my tears,

My mind and heart remembers the hurt of the past years.

So I suffer each night, without any dreams,

Sleepless nights are mine for now and ever more,

So it seems.
