What Holidays!!!!!

As November now powers through its second half at least it is heading there, the Holiday Seasons are coming around once more. Firmly I believe for many this Holiday season, will be a poor one, the only happiness most will find is in being with family and friends if they can. The tables will be filled with less food, the tree bottoms will show this year, some small child somewhere will cry a tear, because Santa couldn’t bring what they wanted this year! The days of the large Christmas Tree in the corner, with presents spraying across the room is done, the fact is the money doesn’t go as far, and that’s the truth my daughter and son!.

Where once lived steaks and money filled bliss, now stands a family eating off sticks. They beg for a home on the streets so bare, living in cardboard boxes that are impossible to share. They hold up signs on the street, will work for food, we are hungry and need to eat. The unemployment checks don’t go as far, and at night in my box in the cold, I wish upon a star. I stand looking grubby and unclean, unshaven and not looking like a King or a Queen. People drive by and shake their heads and honk their horns, cause I am not clean, and looking mean and worn. My pride doesn’t allow me to ask for help, and when I lay down at night to sleep and die, I do not yelp. I hope and pray as I shiver and shake, that someone out there will give me a break!.

As you drive around this Holiday Season, buying and shopping and hoping for pleasing, take a look on the streets and don’t close your eyes, for if you do you will see a surprise. A America now filled with empty hearts, people hungry, no jobs and houses falling apart. Cardboard box homes lining the streets in the back out there, the cold being the worst to fear. As The Bells of Saint Mary’s and churches ring, and rich people sing, the poor sit in the streets with nowhere to go, hungry, dirty and what a waste it is so. The money is tight, the jobs so few, I bet when you go by, you hope this doesn’t happen to you!.

On Thanksgiving Day a little over a week away, some will have tables filled with food, extra spilling around as family sits down. The lights shall be on over tables filled with food and grace and family smiling all over the place. When you sit and before you eat, Pray to God for your seat and all you eat. Thank the loved ones who fought your wars, thank the parents who provided you with ways once more. Before you leave your stomach all full and the next week send the kids back to school, stop and think what could be, for this is America and we are all free. The food could be abundant and everyone could be warm, in homes filled with lights and furniture all worn. If Congress would wake up and gave a care, then all of us together  could enjoy the Holidays this year!.

The Start of Election 2012

As a man who has more injuries and problems than most I think it is important in America to still be as positive as possible, about everything. Sometimes though I wonder if reality doesn’t match what my mind wants for this country. We do have our problems and our share of pure bullshit too. One thing Americans can do and will always do is bullshit, and carry-on. Thats what makes a comedy show out of many American things in this world. Sadly, the comedy and laughter turns to fears and tears when I stop and think about a country with a History as rich as ours, slowly falling in free fall in economic and financial and political status. To what depths will we fall and hopefully not in my lifetime, please.

We have fallen from leadership roles before due to political problems, now we fall from leadership positions due to economic problems, financial problems and attitudes. Sadly America may have seen it’s best days in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.  The Leaders who led America to greatness, and it’s high staked position in the World began to disappear during those times.

We had some of the best leaders as Presidents during and slightly before those years and that is why we were so well off.  Stop and think of the run of Presidents we had back then and what the price of things were and how we lived then. It’s amazing, America still functions at all with what is trying to lead us today.

Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy,Nixon, Carter, Regan each in their own way brought different ways to lead, different paths to take to keep this country great and on top. Their fierce attitudes, loyalties and protection of American rights, America’s way of maintaining economically and financially made us the leader in the world. They made decisions not based on what the opposing party thought, or didn’t think, nor did they put up with political infighting and bickering in Congress during their eras and times. They used the Presidential Office and their position to further America and the World.  We need a new generation of leaders of such scope, such vision and such leadership skills to turn us around and make us rise once more.

When we got by William Jefferson Clinton’s Presidential terms in office, we were in the black financially by billions of dollars. Clinton was a man who had vision, had the sense and balls to make things happen also. I know all about his scandals also, but in the end when we look back at Clinton his terms we will paint him in history as one of the greats.  So, where do we look today, in 2011 and in 2012’s Presidential Race and Elections for our new leader?

President Obama was dealt a raw, hard deal when he became President, he took over after Bush totally wrecked our standing in the world economically and financially as well as politically. President Bush slammed us into the backwoods of nations and ruined what was once great. Why did people allow it when they voted I have no idea.  President Obama at least is trying in many ways to correct the situation.

When our choices as citizens of America come down to reelecting President Obama or electing the current batch of Republicans who oppose him, well, that list is a joke to me.  Romney has his problems  and every one knows it even his own party and backers. Cain is a man with too many problems to be elected at all, sexual harassments and improper advances on women, come on, we did this one with Clinton and survived do we need it again? Governor Perry of Texas can’t speak straight or look Presidential if you pinned the word President to his own forehead and he is a joke to most. The rest of this list of candidates is a joke to me. Why oh why is this so today? It makes one wish for and think of what was and what could be if we had the older leaders back today.

When I think back in history for America, and our list of Presidents who were great Leaders in times of peace and war and who did things this country needed and helped us as a people, I realize what makes America great, is our way of having the Freedom to choose who leads us all.

Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Lincoln,Truman, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Nixon, Carter,Regan,Clinton all led by leading not following, by paving a way and making Congress understand it was the best way. Thats what we need in our next President and Leader, is one with the guts, and balls to stand up and tell Congress stop screwing the America people and lets work together now. The men I have named as Presidents in American history led by having guts, and courage, bravery and moxey. Not being wimpy and crying.

As we have gone by November 11, 2011 and into the newest election cycle to deal with who shall be in the White House  once more, stop and think of who your electing and why and stop and think don’t we need a decisive, tough-minded, open-minded individual who can stand tall, and lead instead of stumble, fumble and be a walking joke in the World? If our choices are Reelect President Barrack Obama to four more years or pick one of these Republican Candidates I call jokes, well my choice is easy than, Reelect Obama. He at least is pulling us out of wars, he created a Health Care Bill and made it law, he at least stands proud and leads instead of cringing and crying. Let him lead four more years, he may lead us back to the promise land we once were! The Republican side well they can’t stop going opssssssssssssss!

Happy Veteran’s Day

Today is 11/11/11, Veteran‘s Day. Across America today we should all give  thanks to our Veteran’s who sacrificed their lives, health and well-being to protect and defend America and others as assigned in the military. We were all young, healthy and in great shape when we entered and we gave up all of it to defend and protect.

Before I go on and on about what it takes to  become a veteran in America and why we do it, let me state beyond a reasonable doubt one thing, Veterans who served do not want pity, we do not want proclamations or awards, we want peace. We want only for someone to say Thanks for Serving as we limp on by or walk by, or to acknowledge us is all. Awards, ribbons, medals do nothing for a Veteran, Disabled or not. What helps is medical, dental benefits, and places to go for our injuries and problems as we age. And all Veterans who have these benefits and served and earned them say Thank You to America for having them for us.

American Veterans did not serve for glory, we did not serve to promote ourselves, we did not do so for honor. We did so for simple reasons if you listen to most of us. Some were drafted and served in Wars and others protected the nation in times of peace, but we all had one thing in common, our main reason to serve under it all, our families, friends and loved ones.

We are Veterans for serving and we do not cry or moan from injuries, or illnesses. And we do not just run to Doctors for fun and medications we do not need. We are proud of ourselves for serving and we try to carry our heads high is all.

So as you lay your head upon your pillow each night, and close your eyes to sleep and feel safe and sound, just remember somewhere out there in the world of darkness and light, and day and night are Veterans who serve to give you that right. I served, and did so not for myself, but for my family, my friends and all my loved ones. I sacrificed time, effort, body and soul, and stayed away from my loved ones to make sure each night they could sleep in peace and each day exist happily and well off. God Bless America!

Humanity/ Time and Limits

Time we know never stops, it continues to tick away whether we are here or not. Time brings with it knowledge, experience and new inventions and innovations also. Time mostly brings new human beings to a planet already over populated really, yet still it maintains. Amazing isn’t it really?

Some years ago, 1990 to be precise, my step-father, who I never called anything else then Dad, died of cancer. He lived a short life in comparison to most men of his time period as did my mother, who followed him one year and a day later to her own grave. We put the two of them together for eternity after their deaths of course.

Anyway, Dad prior to his death made sense about time to me one day before he died, in his own unique way. It was the summer of 1990 and we were watching Red Sox Baseball in his bedroom as he lay in bed sick as hell. We were chatting as the game played in the background and I remember turning and staring at him for  a bit as he watched and growing sad, knowing he would one day soon be gone.

He caught me staring and looking, and he looked back finally, he told me he said son, I have two things to say to you. I listened carefully as he spoke, his word not as strong as they once were but still as powerful as a man’s could be. He said first and foremost I want to thank you for the present you gave me for Father’s Day so many years before, 1971 20 years ago. That lazy-boy recliner I sat in so many years, and would today if i could, I watched ball games from it, movies and more and even slept in it at times. I smiled and told him he was welcome for all he did for me. Then he looked at me and said one more thing I want to tell you.

I listened more, as he told me, Son he said, a man plants a seed, but as we both know he doesn’t always stay to nurture and grow it. So I took over for your real father and raised you. Again I thanked him, than he said, Son one day soon I shall be gone and the minutes will turn to hours, the hours to days and the days to weeks then months and years. Don’t cry for me, or waste your time and have no fears. Time waits for no one is what he said and it shall go on and on long after man is gone. So do me a favor son, live a life of good and have fun, do want you really want and get it done. I smiled back at him and just watched him breathe slowly that day.

Then came October 1990 and his sudden death from cancer. As we gathered for his wake, and after at home, people I had not seen for decades came out of the past. They gathered at our home to bid him goodbye. We all sat and talked of him and what we loved most about him as a man. And I told them all what he said of time, it is too short for the human mind. But it will go on and on forever more, and it will be here long after we are all gone, so live full, live happy and have fun, before you know it life shall be done.

Disabled Veterans’ Raging Fires

Raging fires in a glass to look through on a boiler  front ,painted silver and reflecting back at
me, metal plates, beneath my feet, with diamond designs, not so unique. The
pumps and the valves all have their own special roar, and the fluorescent
lights go on, forever more.

The life
of a boiler man in the Navy is boring, yet rewarding and sometimes crazy. A
call comes down we are shifting speeds, more burners, more burners is what we
need! My hands flying over air registers and valves, as I lite more burners and
the pressures rise. The water level fluctuates as the steam is pushed to the
main engines and the shaft on the lower level speeds up more. This is the life
onboard a ship for the Navy, oh so grand and more. The machinery roars and the
fires too, even more the commands shouted down in the pit, fire room, as we
call it, come to my fellow sailors and we move with speed, for we know ,it is
what the ship, does need.

A boiler
front is a large silver panel of steel you see, with burners sticking out back
at me, the air register handles you use to flap and then the valves to allow
the fuel in you see, all are memories for men like me.  So many pieces of machinery, in constant
motion to make one ship sail the ocean. It’s what we do to keep our country
free.  Who are we, but the Engineers of
the U.S. Navy?  Boiler Technicians they
call us you see, each a different pay grade and level working together to keep
our country free, it seems so amazing to me.

If
you were to feel the heat, and feel the steel  beneath your feet, like a breathing monster so
unique, you would swear it was all alive you see, for that is what it was, for
so many, like me. We sweated and we bled to make sure no American would be
killed or end up dead!

So,
when you see on CNN, a Navy ship has arrived somewhere again, it’s the men who
are down here below, yes the ones they say live in The Hole, that in the end
make the Navy go. We sweat and moan and sometimes hurt down to the bone, but we
make the steam to get us there and in the end back home, because we care. We
don’t serve to be happy or gay; we serve the Navy each in our own way. While we
steam along and around the world, it is of our families and loves we do think,
for we want to go home and see them in the pink. We do it so our children and
parents and more, can live a life free, for evermore.
So when you see a veteran like me, who walks bent over or stumbles you
see, stop and think of what they sacrificed, just so you can live free and so
nice!. Freedom is not for free, just ask the disabled Veterans like me.

Attention Deficiet Disorder and Hyper-Activity

Among the many things I have heard lately on television and in news reports, are the new reports of bullies beating on other children in schools and in life in general. By no way do I condone nor accept such behavior out of any child and if you are bullied you should indeed walk away and call for help. The question though is why do these children bully others, what causes them to do so?

The answer lies within the bully not the child being bullied. The bully is the one with the emotional problems, the non-acceptance problems, the I don’t belong problems. The bully is actually attacking those they feel they can dominate and scare and strike fear into, only to make themselves feel more powerful, and superior in every way, because they are ignored at home or else where in their own lives and this is a cry out for attention. Yes the bullied child gets hurt too and damaged, but it is actually the bullying child who is damaged worse. It all starts at home in their own families and grows from there.

Beyond bullying, and bullied children lies a hidden element and problem and many of those are today misdiagnosed and led the wrong way. The children who are born with Attention Deficit Disorder and Hyper-Activity. These children are often labeled as bullies, or the bullied, or as emotionally unstable or mentally damaged when they are not. They see and hear things at a different speed then normal society, they react quicker at times and they seem anti-social when they really aren’t. They may attack a sibling, they may argue endlessly on a subject or even a simple rule.  Some can not sit still, they need to constantly move, while others may sit still and not respond at all. Both ends of the equation are apparent with children born with ADDHA. I know because I am one of them who survived it without pills. I was one of the few who came thru my ADDHA years without Ritalin or any other drug being in my body or brain, because I was misdiagnosed as a child of the 1960s as an emotionally unstable child. They were wrong and I know it as do the Doctors I see today for other reasons. So Parents be very careful how you have your child diagnosed and by whom and please get the right Doctors to see them.

A diagnoses of ADDHA is not the end of the world for any child or person and it can be overcome by counseling, therapy and if needed as a last resort medication. The sad part is too many today are medicated and tossed aside and made into bigger problems then they really are.  Just because a child acts out in rage, or anger or in silly ways or violence does not make them ADDHA children, nor does it make them emotionally unstable children. Sometime a child in the shape of having ADDHA can actually go in the opposite direction and be  a depressed personality. So be very careful and get many opinions before you label any child.

Like depression, ADDHA can be and usually is transferred or handed down through generations although many Doctors may tell you no, I am telling you yes because it happened with me, and my children. It is indeed a problem well-known and not diagnosed properly all the time. Depression in a child of ADDHA can lead to thoughts of violence, happiness, belonging such as attaching themselves to another for safety reasons also. It is all a matter of the stages of the disease and the position of the child and situation they are in. Many times while you are still trying to figure out a child with ADDHA they are so many steps ahead of you it is crazy and of course they are on to something else. They work at faster rates mentally then normal children, the chances they will out grow it is probably higher than expected in most of them and they adjust to handle it on their own, The few who do not, do end up medicated and cared for by families and Doctors. It is not a death sentence to be ADDHA, it is  a condition that can be handled, and grown out of and few people know that. So, just because someone is different then you and they work at a faster or slower basis mentally or emotionally do not judge them crazy, emotionally unstable or damaged, look twice and see what it really is.

Trials, Politics, Commentators and more!

Today the jury continues it’s deliberations in the Conrad Murray Trial. Will they find Murray guilty or innocent and if they do find him innocent, doesn’t that say Michael Jackson Killed himself, by self ingesting or injecting? I hope the jury stops and thinks about that before they say Murray is innocent. Or thinks about the fact Michael Jackson paid this so called Doctor with a contract of $150,000.oo dollars a month to care for him and keep him healthy and less then 90 days later he was dead.

Next subject, it is now one year from the next Presidential Election. I see numerous Republicans running around speaking from the poduims, but not one telling the truth. Nor do I see one of them calling for Congress to act now to help the American people. They are doing nothing except extending Unemployment Benefits and skating by and the American public is letting them, why? The economy is tanked out, jobs don’t exist, companies are going over seas, no manufacturing exists here anymore, look at what you buy folks, it’s all made in China, Japan and Korea or some other country. What happen to Buy American, Be American!.

Can we as a country truely elect a Hermain Cain, or a Mitt Romeny, or any of these Replublicans, if they can’t get congress to move or act not? How can you vote for a party or canidate who can’t get their own in Congress to help the American People before they are elected never mind after. Now is when help is needed not a year or two in the future, this is not a movies America it is reality and we are going down the tubes here.  Wake up please!!!. Yes I know saying the Republicans are not the answer sounds foolish or sounds silly with the alternative being keeping OBama. Obama at least is doing some things right now, pulling us out of Afgainistan, Iraq and Iran and bringing the troops home for one. Second that will free funding to help the homeless, jobless and hungry here if the money is reapplied in the right places. We do need to stop helping others, when we can’t help ourselves.

That said, what can be done to help America turn itself around? 1) Change the trade agreements and laws-charge more for imports less for exports, lower the tariffs for american goods going out and charge more for those coming in. 2) Change the tax laws on American companies, give them more tax breaks to stay here. 3) Unions need to stop overly attacking these same companies and back off, Americans got way too greedy asking too much in benefits and pay. 4) Pay for innovations and inventions more, and encourage companies to form by incentives, and financial help. 5) Retrain blue collar workers currently unemployed for white collar jobs, and give extended education opportunities to them. 6) Keep our American children in schools and working towards degrees in fields of endeavers that encourage building of manufacturing busnesses and technical fields. All of these can be accomplished through cooperation between the political parties and plain and simple bi-partisianship.

I like millions of American’s watch CNN daily for news on the markets, the world and here in America. I hear their reports of economic failures, disasters around the world and then I see reports of companies American created moving from one country like China to Japan. Why? Why can’t HP bring the plants and company here to America where they started and make them all here? Because no one is giving them the incentive or motivation to do so, by lowering their taxes and giving them any breaks. So again Americans doing get the jobs.

Last and not leastly today, I want to address a common item that I have noticed in CNN’s newscasts,in Fox Newscasts and in general on television period. Now I am not prejudice, nor do I discriminate in anyway and i grew up in a mixed neighborhood as a child and live in a mixed area as an adult. Race, color, naturality, means nothing to me and I believe in treating all equal. Yet I am seeing a constant bias and even to some extent a bit of favoritism toward  African Americans in the way news is reported and who reports it. I tire of Roland Martrin for CNN, speaking all the time on how blacks or African Americans are not treated fairly in one case or another.  By doing this I wonder if Roland Martin realizes that he is drawing attention, bad attention to his own race, culture and people. You don’t need to overemphisize African Americans, I understand the need for fairness and equality in all aspects and respect that and so do most americans. And one more thing that bothers me a bit, Afican Americans demand we call them African Americans, or blacks, yet they can run around calling the caucasion race white or honkys. Why is that? If you are gonna talk races ot colors, please refer to us caucasions as caucasions not whites ot honkys, please!.

Final item for today, as America goes forward we must at last realize we can not continue to babysit the world, these countries we help are not helping us in return and we waste valuable time, effort and resources on rebuilding, policing and fighting their wars for them. It’s time America brings home it’s resources, people and equipment, and uses it at home to help our own people not some people who would like to see us wiped off the face of the planet.

Heart To Heart a Poem by William M. McCurrach

Heart to Heart
By: William

Did you ever take a walk in the woods,

Go to place just to have fun,

Wander around and just be you,

And suddenly you’re not alone.

A brief smile you see, or a look,

And you start to say something, yes just to chat,

And all of a sudden, one heart is touching another,

You feel you have found, a sister or a brother!

It’s their gentle ways, or their polite manner,

Maybe the way they laugh, or cry,

But suddenly you are heart to heart with someone,

It not a thing that happens, nor do I know how it happens or
is done.

Your heart begins to open, and it blooms,

You feel special, wanted, needed,

And you know you have touched,

Heart to Heart, for you feel it,

Yes deep inside, in that special part.

Suddenly you know,

This is the one person,

You Never want to let go!.

That’s what you call, Heart To Heart,

And what we all seek to be a part.

Cycles in Families

Sunday Morning has arrived and it’s grab a coffee to survive. Feed the cat and find the paper, it’s Sunday and the NFL shall be around and on. Of course I have to do other chores prior to football and if I don’t like the games carried in my area, well I turn it all off anyway. Football was a  religion to me every Sunday, I would gather round as a kid with my step-dad and we would have the fruit and snacks and chips. The games would start and we would watch them all afternoon and into the evening. Football was indeed king for dad and I.

Now a days it is a little different, Dad is long gone, passed away at close to the age I am now in 1990. Mom followed him a year and a day afterwards, but not before throwing herself over his body and coffin at his wake and screaming Why didn’t you take me with you!  I guess when you spend 40 some odd years together, raise 5 kids, and go through divorce yet still live together, well, you get the idea.

Today I am 55, been married twice myself, had two children by my first wife and none by my second and my life goes on quietly each day. Yet I stop and look back on my childhood and my parents life together and wonder how the hell they did what they did. They were both born to families in the year of 1932. Back then money was tight and so was making ends meet. Luckily for us they learned from their parents how to survive, so we all did survive. Amazingly, today those of us who were born to my mother and her two husbands are still here except for one. Yet none of the four remaining, are actually normal and uneffected by our childhood days. We lived a life as children that few people survived, filled with violence, beatings, verbal and physical abuse. We survived it all as individuals really not as siblings hanging on all together. Each of us dealt with it differently and I am sure each of us if thrown in one room anywhere, would give you a different version of how we did it.

Today, a child is yelled at, beaten, abused in any way, physically or emotionally or even mentally, they can reach out and get authorities to help them. The late 1950s, 1960s, that wasn’t so and parents still virtually owned their children. The things we survived especially the three eldest is unbelievable. Beatings upon beating over years, for things we never did, or would do, at least most of us. Mental torture such as being told I brought you into this world and I will take you out, or the best line, I don’t care about you, little son of a bitch, I will shoot you and bury you in the backyard and never look back!. Nice lines from a parent to their children right?

Things we survived were crazy, being thrown down three flights of stairs, beatings with two by fours, pipes, and fireplace pokers for coming home late as a young teen. Feet burned on a stove top for stealing cookies as a young boy, and then I was called emotionally disturbed and put away for two years. I was crazy right, wrong!

The point being here that across America the land of the free, the land of the brave, the land of advancement and technical breakthroughs and more, people still get raising their children wrong. They still overstep lines and rules and basics they should never do. Sadly it is indeed passed from one generation to the next in families, for it is all these parents and adults during that time knew. As my step-dad once said, I survived it, I was taught that way and you will too. I remember the old lines of how he got to school, walking miles in the snow with holes in his shoes and freezing hands each day. And how we had no right to complain, we had clothes and shoes and buses and more. I laugh today at the mere thought of the stories my parents told of their sufferings as kids, then I stop and think about my grandparents on both sides and realize, they got it handed to them also.

The cycles of violence, physical, mental abuse, misjudging our children goes on each day in America and across the world in numerous lands and countries. What all the world must now stop and look at is not how to continue it without stopping and doing what our foreparents did to us, but how to end the endless cycles, by not doing it to our own children. The cycles have to end, too many valuable, precious children and human beings get destroyed and end up turning on society and killing, maiming or destroying. When will we as a world, and as each individual country and person learn, violence begets violence, anger begets anger and destruction brings destruction? We need to find peaceful solutions to raise our children, raise our voices, and unite to protect the children of the world, they are its future not us who are elder and old already. The hope is in the children not us. Protect them, teach them right from wrong, don’t beat them or harass or mentally torture them, let them grow and  know that mankind has a better side.

America’s fate?

American’s believe their fate to be one of greatness and joy.We all want the best for our country, our land, our children and our future. To get there we make sacrifices, we debate, we argue and we love. We fight and win and fight and lose, we yell, scream, shout and sometimes even knock ourselves out. But in the end, America still remains one of the best nations if not the best nation in the world. Yes we lost out AAA+ credit rating, yes our economy has now fallen to number ten in the world. Yet we still remain the number one country others look up to for help, stability, promise and military might. Is America still looked at in this way, well no one would say so anymore except us americans.

America it seems is a country that is losing status and standing as well as economic and monetary position. No matter what though other countries still come to us for help, they still ask us to lead, they still expect us to help them. Why is that I ask, why?

Before America, there were others whose rise to the top of civilizations, were just as impressive for their days and ages. The early Aztecs. The Incas, The Romans, and more. Yet each one of them fell from the pinacle of humanity and civilizations to their demise. America I believe is at that point now where we have had our run as the forerunner civilization for decades, and we are slowly crumpling.

Across America you can see signs of fractures in our society and structure. Our financial world is in a mess, our economic world is in a mess, and our job markets as well as education systems crumble. What is happening to America ? Can we turn it around and how is the next question!

To turn around the downfall and demise of such a large civilization and country, we need to get back to basics. Each day Americans give birth to new children and beginnings. That is where our hopes, ambitions are and should be,, but on the other hand we must take the financial burdens, todays adults are dropping on their children and grandchildren away. There has got to be a way to relieve them of the financial debts and to allow them to advance what we hand them. Lets hope and pray we find that soon.

As I have said before in my blogs and to others, Americans are far way too generous with our helping of other countries. We have constantly over the two hundred plus years as nation and country, helped too many and received very little in return. We owed France for their help in our Revolutionary War, for she helped America by her military and financial support. Can you name any other nation or country though who has reached out to America and given us either military or financial assistance like we hand to so many others?   I doubt even the historians can find any in their research and books.

America is now at a point in time and place in its own history, where we need to pull back some. We have given, given, and given, helped, helped and helped and policed, policed, and policed the world. We have rebuilt other countries, medically assisted them, supported them militarily and financially and medically. We have done so much, with so little for so long, we believe ourselves capable of anything. Sadly we are not capable of anything, nor can we intimidate, or control anyone, we can only negotiate and pressure. Sadly, as time goes by we are learning, that sometimes in history thee comes a time when even the leaders, the top civilizations, must pull back and retreat to survive. I believe America is now at that point in time and history in the world. I am not saying we are totally done or defeated as a nation or civilization, I am saying that if not careful, like the Aztecs, Incas,Indians,  Romans and Egyptians we shall slide off into the horizons of history and disappear, if we continue to spread ourselves so far and wide.

We in America today have our own internal struggles and problems to deal with now. We have a falling economy, a job market that barely exists, millions unemployed, and people living on the streets in boxes, and holding signs up, Will Work for Food!. Each day these visions and sights are shown on television, seen in newspapers and broadcast across air waves of the world. Is this the vision, the view, we want the world to have of our fine country we love so much? I doubt it, yet we struggle to fix it all, yet over extend ourselves to help others.  There becomes a time when it is indeed necessary to pull back from helping the world and help our own and ourselves. No we are not greedy or selfish if we do, you do what you have to do to survive, do you not? Well Survival is now our next step as a country and civilization.

America, had it’s best years after each War . We fought for Independence and wham we were prosperous. We fought a Civil War and became prosperous again. We made our own weapons and that kept our economy and job markets cruising along. We fought two World Wars and produced the weapons of mass destruction that saved the world and ended up producing more products than the world knew what to do with. Yet today we fight  people’s wars and police other people’s nations, and do nothing for our own. Sadly one day, America will wake up and realize, we have over extended ourselves to a point where we leave the door open on the backside for others to take us down and out. Be careful America and Americans our over extending and helping others is nice for them, but I warn you, like Japan, Germany and others we rebuilt after stopping them, people will undercut, and over take our economy and not care what happens to us period. Yes the World is indeed a cruel, harsh place!.
