History shows us mankind has had, many different types of inventors and innovators and leaders and more. We welcome the good ones and shun the bad who make mistakes until they correct things and get them right. Well, I believe our political process works the same way as this historical fact seeking does too. We seek leaders and presidents who have a vision that is clear for our future, helpful to us as a people and who have the guts to push forward their agendas to make them reality.
We are quickly closing in on a year till November 2012. Americans, I think it is time to start comparing candidates for the biggest office in America and the world. As I look at the choices it is looking like we will be given, we are getting no clear answers from either party, on how to turn around the AMerican economy, create jobs, handle Medicare or Social Security. All Candidates are dodging the main issues and skirting around the edges pointing fingers at each other, instead of sitting down and solidifying a way to fix what is broken. Sadly this is how American politicians play the game up until they get the Nomination of their party. It’s a game of do I look Presidential enough and make no major gaffes or mistakes to get to the Convention.
Well, before we send a Candidate to their convention in this case on the Republican Party side, we need to look closer at all of them. The list shall thin out soon enough I am sure, because one by one, they will eliminate themselves. I believe this will come down to the Mitt versus Rick show in the end. Two men of different faiths, but also of some different views on some issues. I will not pick one because both are still very vague on what they will do in key areas. I do offer one bit of advise to the American People who must vote in 2012, Obama at least made good on some promises, he took good shots at trying to fix key issues, but at times other issues fell to the wayside. A President has to be able to make decisions on what to do next based on priorities of the American People not his own priorities or his parties, ok. So, we need a candidate who will put the American People first, jobs, economy, medical care and costs, including Medicare, Medicade, Social Security and HealthCare period. Plus a President who can and will compromise when needed and a Congress that will too for our better, not their own.
As October of 2011 moves on, more and more Americans are losing their homes, going hungry. Begging for food for work on the streets, living in cardboard boxes and sadly the winter approaches us again. Many senior Americans will need help to heat their homes and the States are going broke also. When will we do something is my question for Congress, our Senators and Representatives? What does it take to get you to move through some kind of rescue for Social Security, some kind of rescue for and plan to create jobs, some kind of help for those in need, instead of thinking of yourselves and your own political asses?.
Across America people are now forming Occupy this or that protests. They want to occupy Wall Street, or a State. Wrong place folks, you want to have a protest that will have some effect and make Congress move maybe, Lets stage a A Occupy Washington MOvement and Protest and set up a Occupy The Senate and House of Representatives movement and drive these none caring, slow-moving, selfish people we elected out of their seats, and back home where they belong and elect someone who will compromise and work things through for the American people.
