Recent meeting/ My response and thoughts.

Good Morning America and the World. It is Wednesday, August 19th, 2026 here. I don’t want to preach, leacture, or try to tell people what to do, yet, I am seeing a trend in humanity and America that is bad for the world in general. And being who I am, I just want to mention it here for all to consider and think about as we go thru life in general.

Communication, is something we don’t tend to pay attention to between humans unless we are forced to in someway.I am not a politician, a doctor, teacher or professor, but, I do know, communication has more than one part to it. First is verbal, second is physical and facial looks, and how we convey our thoughts. But what we all forget and never seem to slow down to realize, is the art of listening, is vital. You can scream to the stars, you can talk till you are blue in the face, if the other person or country your talking to is not listening, it falls apart. This is currently happening, with Iran, Iraq and other countries and the USA.

But what brought this up for me and to mind is a recent example of a meeting I attended. Look, you can set meetings, hold them, invite people in to speak, and discuss it, but, if you don’t, enforce and adhere to your own, purpose and listen and let people communicate in return, well it is worthless. If I say something to you, and you do not understand what I mean, ask, and if I see you are not fully understanding me, I will slow down and try to clarrify it for you. Yet if you run a meeting to discuss bettering communication and openess in a community, and then cut off people who are trying to speak or voice interests or concerns or help, during said meeting, then the purpose of your meeting is gone. Slow down, realize what you are doing, don’t let personal dislikes, get in the way of open communication. I understand when people say they just want to watch or listen in, and that is their right to do. But, because they said that does not mean at some point during the discussion, something may hit them they wish to reply to, should not be allowed. Look your holding a meeting about open communication, be open about it, even if you don’t like someone, or what they have to say, you should let them speak. To cut them off, and tell them you said you didn’t want to participate is wrong. It is all about open communication, so let them communicate.

That said, I hope it can be understood by all, open communication is a two way street. If you have something to say fine, but when you voice it, stop and listen to the replies or questions and clarrify. Not everyone will agree with it, but in the end at least you allowed it to be a part of said conversation, and you don’t look small for cutting someone out. For in cutting off someone because they said they wish to be an observer, and then tried to interject is against the whole purpose of discussing open communication. I know some will disagree with what I am saying here, but when you stop and think of it, I am right, the whole purpose was to open communcation lines up, not shut them down. if you don’t practice what you preaching to others, it is worthless, for the example goes out the door so to speak, and you look like, you can’t do what you asking others to do. So, slow down, don’t jump up and shut someone down, because you don’t like them, or they said they were just there to observe. If they speak they have a reason, let em so we can all hear them. Isn’t that what a meeting on communication is all about?
