Peace and quiet is a right every person on this planet deserves and should have, compromise is a word few understand and open communication at times can lead to full blown eruption of anger, emotions, tears and fears, but, if we steer ourselves toward respecting one anothers rights and care, we can make it as humanity.
Peace can bring cultures together, nations together, stop wars and give us all a way to cooperate and help one another through surviving on this planet. we must learn to openly communicate, to openly show respect for different beliefs and ways of thinking and work to fully understand one another. For the alternative if the self destruction of humanity on the planet, we are all one finger push away from oblivion each moment we live, because of the invention of weapons of explosive and nuclear power. Must mankind kill itself left and right, just to prove who is right or wrong over borders, or politics? Sad isn’t it folks to be this close to the end and hanging on some leaders emotional balance or mental well being?
Out on the coast of each country that is touching an ocean, is the answer of where mankind came from as we climbed from the oceans to survive. Sadly we all did it no matter race, color, ethic or national origin, yet we all forget it, don’t we?
Peace needs to reign supreme on the planet for mankind to survive can’t everyone see and understand that? we can’t continue to kill off each other for like all creature we will face extinction too.
Nor can we continue to burn up the resource of the planet we live on and pollute it so badly it can not reproduce any more of those vital resources, mankind needs to exist!
Wake up Mankind stop self destructing, your selves and the planet you live on and wake up!

Morning America! The Fourth of July has flown by as the fireworks reigned supreme last night. We Celebrate every year the freedoms our ancestors won from England way back then and the Constitution that gives us the rights we now have. It’s a pleasure to be an American, but some try to twist the laws and the rights to their own means. One of the problems with America and it’f form of Government and Laws is simple too many believe they can bend them, disobey them and get away with what they want. UNless you understand that the laws are made to protect all, you lose in a court of law. Such happens everyday when a Judge sits on the bench and listens to cases of civil as well as legal matters, and makes their decision and tells the defendant this is my Court Order and it will stick and if you break it you will go to Jail. many think they can still bypass what the Court Order says and do their thing and end up incarcerated for a long time.
Anyway next subject, for all. As all Americans celebrated Independence Day in America the Fireworks displays were great and many and the skies lite up brightly. That is great for public consumption in America as stadiums are used for these displays, but it becomes a problem when you neighbor does it all night and no one stops him for disturbing the peace. Sadly, the police bend rules and laws for people with money and don’t stop them from taking advantage of these things. Yet, the quiet neighbor has to suffer as we hit the firecrackers and bangs and crackles all night on the fourth when we would rather stay home and relax. we the people includes elderly, injured and disabled individuals and people who like their privacy too, lets protect all peoples right Police Officers not just those with money on these holidays.
There comes a time when someone’s legal rights to celebrate the Fourth Of July is allowed and should no be allowed that time ladies and gentlemen is at 10 pm each night in your area, loud noises and bangs and fireworks should be shut down in private neighborhoods at that time, period.
LandLord Problems we face!
Recently I ran into a problem as a LandLord and I now have to go to court to take care of it all. First and foremost if you rent property of any kind the first problem is screening people to live in your properties. People give references and the references lie their asses off to get the person in and then your screwed once they get in. If anything goes wrong it is a battle to get these people out, especially if they resist.
Then it starts a verbal war with these people which escalates into something bad, which ends up involving police and laws. These situations are looked at as the responsibility of both the landlord and the tenet in the end. It all depends on the Officer as to who to believe and what to do. Wrong in my Opinion. For in the end the landlord holds the property rights and just because they rented a room or apartment in it to the tenet , the property itself is still owned by those who pay for it, the owner. Why should someone I don’t want in my home anymore, be able to forcefully stay in my home , because of delays in the courts or silly side steps in the law? I had this all happen to me and wanted to Evict this guy, but the law says he can stay in the room until the Eviction is final. So because of the violence of the situation and the physical intimidation he is doing to my wife and i, I am going for a new Restraining Order against his for another 6 months and going to ask the JUdge to tell him to move and stop locking up a room in my house we want to have back.
As to what the JUdge will say i know not, but I know if the man is restrained from approaching my home, my person and my wife’s person and I have statements from others on his attitude and why he is doing what he is doing and the fact he has already been restrained once and will be again, why can’t the same Judge order him to move and take his stuff with him? and How will we know when he is formally evicted if he is Restrained from my home so we can reuse our own property? Legal Questions like this is a pain in the ass for Americans everyday, I just want my peace of mind back again and no more destruction of my property, like the 46 inch HDTV he ruined and my X-Box 360 and VCR and VHS and DVD Player, don’t I have a right to protect my property from this hoodlum and his veiled threats?
Welcome to The Future, Hillary Rodham Clinton?
I have survived and lived through so many Presidents in American History now, that it seems silly none were women of power and smarts. Hillary Clinton fits both those bills plus is politically savvy too. The woman is smart enough to not say she is running for President as she answers some critical questions about her term as Secretary of State with straight answers. brilliant is the word for her and her husband actually, they both accept the flaws they may have and move forward with helping the country I congratulate them both. It is amazing how Americans have overlooked the possibility of a female President for so long as many other Nations elect them and they do great jobs. So why not America right? I think if the American People want an honest, tough and politically correct person as President who understands the world and the domestic home country and economy Hillary clinton fills all those things and more.
My live started under Dwight D EisenHower, went to Kennedy, Johnson,Nixon, Ford, Carter, and on and up words thru Reagan and Clinton and Two Bushes and now Obama. Among all of them I have seen different characteristics in Presidents. Each led the American People in a different manner and direction, some were right, some were wrong and some were indifferent. Yet they all had one thing in common a backbone, courage and the ability to admit a mistake when they made one. Hillary Clinton fits that bill too, she is not afraid of saying wait one minute, a mistake was made lets reexamine it and then go forward. I think she will make a Great President.
Yes it would be a Historic First for America, but on the other hand who would you trust more? Ted Cruze, hell no, Ron Paul’s son, hell no, The Governor of Texas nope, I wouldn’t elect any politician who has served in Congress the last 8 years on either side as President, they did absolutely nothing to improve the economy or create jobs or help americans in anyway, except show up and get a paycheck they don’t deserve! Why Vote one of them in as President, it would be stupid. And only damage the American People and the country in my opinion has accumulated enough lately. Lets change it!
The First step was taken when Eric cantor lost his primary to get reelected! Next we need to clear Congress on both sides of it of dead weights not doing a thing except for themselves. Vote them out folks if they are doing nothing for the people while in office. Clear the Congress and lets see new blood and better people on both sides working to make the country better!
The second step would be to elect Hillary Clinton to the white House. With Hillary we would get a leader, with brains, compassion, and skills we need. On top of that you would get advice I am sure from her husband Bill the former President. It would be a two for one deal actually, yes Bill would be there but she would be in power, asking for the advice not the other way around. In History many Presidents have made mistakes, and been impeached for different reasons, but don’t let Congress fool you folks, Bill Clinton did his job as President, yeah he didn’t keep it in his pants, but thats not the question here is it. The Question is what will Hillary Clinton do and can she lead I say yes, is she politically correct yes, does she have morals and beliefs yes. Vote Hillary Clinton folks, if she runs make her President she is what we need in office at this stage in America!
Comics Books, and Movies and Childhood
I was born in 1956, and during the 1960s when I loved to sit down and read a good comic book there were some of the biggest superheros in history around plus some heros not so super. We had Dick Tracey, We had Flash Gordon, Dracula, Superman, Batman and many more. Now These superheros of my youth are all a part of big screen movie history. I would spend days and nights sitting in one place reading old comic books from DC and Marvel, stories of course made up, by the writers and artists of these companies. They fueled a need in me to be a super hero myself to excel at something no one else would, or to be the best I could be in all ways. The Avengers, The Fantastic Four, The Justice Leagues, all promoted team work and togetherness, while showing how to fight evil and problems in the world. They affected billions over the years and shall continue to do so. Some of the great artists and writers have died these days, but Stan Lee of Marvel is seeing all his characters now hit the big screen in movies everywhere. God Bless ya Stan Lee, ya did make history with them and impress many young minds and hearts and mold them too.
I know many will think I am crazy writing about Comic Books here on my blog at my age, but, these books were used to teach manners, love, respect, hard work and much, much more to the children of the 1950s and 1960s. I had friends who had boxes and boxes of comic books to read and who would read them over and over to escape cruel realities they lived in too. To Escape real life families that were cruel and mistreating their children was not a fantasy back then, and it still exists today. The children who escaped then thru comic books are today their collectors, and the hard working people in the world making it a better place today. So when a child looks at a comic book or graphic novel or the art in it don’t discourage them encourage them, the lessons to be found in many of these tales, built and pushed some basic things in american Society needed to survive.
For years and years I remember laying on my bed staring into a make believe world from comic books. Tales of The Justice League, Batman, Superman,Green Lantern, Spiderman, The Fantastic Four, Iron man, Thor all now on the big screen, including The X-Men and more, lit up my dim little world and helped me ease into the world at my own pace. Authors and poets led the way for me too, from Shakespeare, to Jack London, to Robert Ludlum, all brought me to a richer life filed with dreams attainable. and when you see dreams, understand them, find what is important to you and reach for them, and don’t give up you will attain!
My Life was built on these tales and lives and stories from these comic books! It led me to explore the woods, it led me to dream, it led me to write on my own and to deal with real life emergencies and loves lost and found too. It led to dreams of being a hero, of protecting family, and friend, it led to my 16 year Naval career and to my being the Disabled American veteran I am today, serving my country. So when people doubt Comic books, they shouldn’t, they enforce so many good things in children.
Veteran’s Administration and It’s Hospitals
Lets talk thing that bothers me about the Government of our nation and the press which reports on it daily. Sadly to say no Government in the World is perfect and that includes the American one. Our Government gave us the right to bear arms, it gave us freedom of religion and speech, it gave us the right to vote. It supplied us with Social Security, now medical coverage too. It provides laws to keep the country running in the right direction and to protect the weak, the infirmed or handicapped, and much more. It provides us a military to protect us in times of war. But is it supplying us all we need to be happy and free no, for it only guarantees choice and the right to choose period. But, it is still overall the best form of Government in the world, and it was given to us by some of the Greatest Minds in American History, so unless your stupid , if you live in the USA you will support it.
Recently, I have heard tales and news about The Veterans Administration and the HOspitals they run for us Veterans who have served. While I know and understand the reasons for these problems and what has happened, I also know it is not right to have Disabled Veterans waiting for care and dying because we do not get it. We didn’t make Uncle Sam wait for us to defend and serve the country did we? Yet on the other hand I can not buck the Veteran’s Administration or it’s Medical Staff at these hospitals. For every bad story, like the problems with lists, and waits there is a story of lives saved and made better.
I am a Disabled American Veteran myself, I was discharged with a Honorable Discharge under Medical Condition for a service connected injury to my spine. The Veteran’s Hospital in West Haven has taken very good care of me since 1993. They have provided Physical Therapy for my back, a back brace if needed, canes medications, glasses, sleep apnea machine and so much more, even dental care. So they are well and good people doing their jobs as Doctors and Nurses, APRNs and more. The problem is there are not enough of them to take care of the grand number of Veterans roaming their halls looking for help. ManPower in these hospitals and equipment is the problem, not the lack of caring or understanding or the ability to heal. Numbers hurt the Veterans Hospitals, not the people running them, unless they are in the bureaucratic administration of it all. It it the leaders who never leave their offices in Washington or the State capitals and go to these hospitals, to tour them and listen to what the employees need to get that job done that are wrong. we need the Administrative Leaders of The Veteran’s Administration to tour these hospitals in each state and see what equipment is missing, and how low the manpower is, they are asking to do the job.
I will never ever slap the Veteran’s Administration for all it has done for me. They have nedicated my conditions, supplied physical therapy, PTSD Counseling, devices to keep me alive as needed and Doctors and NUrses and staff who care. I was even reeducated and sent through College by The Veteran’s Administration as a retraining process for jobs. They have provided, in August of 2013 I was diagnosed by the Veterans Hospital here in West haven Connecticut with Lung Cancer. They immediately took action, doing cat scans, pet scans, Mris and blood work and within one month of the discovery of the cancer, I was on an operating table and one lobe and a third of my right lung was removed. I have received pulmonary care, cancer care and much more since and I am now free of cancer and surviving in May of 2014. The Veteran’s Hospital in West Haven, Connecticut by way of my Primary Provider and many Doctors, Nurses and Aprns, and more have saved my life from strokes, and heart problems and now cancer. Thanks to them I am alive and kicking and able to see my grandchildren as they dance and play and grow up. Thank You!
Please never forget how many Veterans these Hospitals, Nurses, Doctors, technicians, keep alive and enjoying life that have served your country. The sad part is because there have been mistakes made in these hospitals, you should not condemn them or bad talk them, but give them financial assistance, more equipment, and more personnel to make them work better. Expand it, don’t disband it, it does far more good for us Veterans then bad.
May/ Writing/ Health/ Relationships/ Communication
May is roaring on colder then Mays of the past so far. Global Warming is real folks, the ice caps are melting, the oceans are rising and it is because we have destroyed the atmosphere we live in and pollution is destroying the world. Sadly mankind is the only species that does not think enough of it’s own planet to save itself. Sad isn’t it?
As the year continues, so does my writing, I am working slowly on a story I am calling The Phasings, I hope when I do finish it, it will be interesting enough for many to read and enjoy and like and buy. I write not as a living, but to relieve and express emotions, ideas and tell stories i either made up, or to express the days and times of my life that for me were important moments in time and my decisions. Each story, poem or even song I have even written tells truths, entertains in it’s own right, and some even tend to teach people and parents not to do what was done to me as a child. So I hope with that in mind some will read some of my works on Amazon’s Kindle E-Books.
Health wise my battles still continue, my lung cancer has been removed last September by a great team of medical people at The Veteran’s Hospital in West Haven, Connecticut. They found it and actually saved my life in 2013, the same year, their organization has come under attack for not treating patients fast enough in other states. I wish to say something for the Veteran,s Administration and Hospitals and it’s Doctors, they are over loaded by veterans who are older and young, and mentally damaged people who have served our Country. If you want to stop mistakes from happening in the Hospitals and improve the health care of Veterans like myself, get UNcle sam to hire more nurses, and doctors and technicians, and tell them to fully staff these hospitals. You can’t, ask a handfull of medical specialist to treat millions can you? Expand the staff at these hospitals please!
Next subject, beginnings and endings happen everyday in life to all people, as relationships end and people move on. Please do not take me as a person giving any advice, but ideas, or thoughts on what I think only. Do not take what I am about to say as the bible of verse of relationships, but, it should count for something if people listen. All relationships, are built on open communication and honesty folks. If you and you spouse are splitting up, or having problems, lack of communication skills will probably be why? Remember before you yell at your spouse/partner about anything, to listen yourself and not yell, speak clearly to them and express your needs, their needs and listen or the relationship will die. It’s a two way street folks, not a one way one, wake up out there!
Failures of Humans of all Races and Nationalities
History has many funny things in it for sure, some not so funny too. But none more realistic than the fact this planet has gone through many ages, over the time it has been here. We had the prehistoric age with dinosaurs and cavemen, first and well we know how that ended now with a massive asteroid strike that killed em all.
Now we are living in mankinds most civilized world in history, and yet, we are still destroying ourselves and the planet we live on, sad isn’t it. Mankind is so stupid we kill off our own species and all the other ones that help us to survive too. Why are we so ignorant as a species to kill our own? History proves many other things too which few people realize, like, the Rise and Fall of Great Civilizations, The Aztecs, The Romans, The Mayas, Incas and other all rose to the top of the heap only to plummet to the basement in utter waste and destruction. Are we ae a nation in America the next ones to fail and fall from the top and get destroyed too? More than likely it will be the case there are already signs of the downfall of the American Dynasty so to say. Job Loses, poor economic news, political and war attacks against us as a notion, cyber attacks and the laziness of the american child and young adults who are glued to either television screens, video games, or computers and never leave them. Sad isn’t it how each and every civilization that reaches a peak must go down the otherside to a bittersweet ending. Maybe one day the world will realize, no one rules forever and no one should.
The biggest failure in the world’s history is now upon us all, and mankind is the one that has failed. we failed to realize the faster we use the earth’s resources, the faster the planet will be a lifeless husk. we failed to realize we are killing ourselves and the creatures on the planet too by polluting our air and water. we even refused to recognize, that we have affected our weather patterns and climate condition so badly, all weather patterns are changing, summers are hotter, winters are colder and more natural disasters are happening. No Such thing as Global Warming right, my ass look around folks it’s here and happening today, and how long will mankind be able to survive it all?
Next subject folks, sorry I rant on things like the above but it is true. In the meantime I fight battles with my health cancer and continue to write stories at a slower rate these days. I started a new one it’s called Phasing and i hope to get it done and make it a good one. Health Changes, New Story
Health Update first- My cancer is eliminated from my lungs after my surgery last September, yet, my scars hurt and bother me daily. Now I have encountered other problems, first a fatty tumor in my liver, which is now determined as just that not cancer. But I now suffer from Barrett’s Disease, which is a stripping of the lining of my esophagus, which is a precursor to throat cancer. Which I hope can be prevented by the Doctors, yet time shall tell.
I just recently started a new story I am currently calling The Phasings. It’s about a person who phases in and out of history at some of the most important dates in American History and survives long enough to tell someone about it in the end before he dies himself.
Preamble
Blurred Vision is all I have; I can see basic shapes but no, clarity here can’t move I am frozen in one spot! Slowly things start to phase in, a building then the brick in it, and windows, become clearer, the floor comes thru next appearing below my feet. Suddenly, I am here, on earth it seems, in a building still frozen in place as things become clearer all around me, slowly phasing in for me, but it is all material things found on earth, windows, doors, bricks, floors and some furniture slowly comes into vision. Slowly everything becomes more solid, the floor I can now feel beneath my bare feet, it is cold and damp but it’s now solid. Where the hell am I , I don’t know yet, but all I can do is wait frozen in place as it all comes into slow focus now.
That is my start to it here, I hope some will read it when I finish the whole story.
