Old Argument/ Star Trek and Reality

The old argument came to mind for me once more that science experts have fought over forever. Did we come from, 1) The Big Bang, 2) Evolution, God or where? Which is true, I say this to you we as humans were never intended to know.

I can give you some thought on what I see and can prove somethings about, like my theory on life’s cyclic aspects. And the familiar patterns I see about me as I age.

When you were a child and playing outside in your own backyard somewhere, did you dig in the sand and mud? Did you notice the ants scurrying under your feel and watch them for a while as they hurried about, trying to gather food and return home?. Well, human beings do the same believe me just on a larger scale on the planet itself. The ants build homes( ant hills, and they all work together if in one nest), and they build what is proper to house their own. They then go about gathering food and feeding themselves, their own and their leader. Funny right when ya stop to think of it, humans are doing the same things.

On a microscopic level, humans are just a blip in the Universe and Galaxy we are in.  We scramble across the earth just like ants, looking for places  to survive and live and gather food and supplies. Weather comes it wipes us and the ants out home wise, but we rebuild. We survive and don’t stop doing what we have always done since our beginning, fight for survival.

Above us lies space, other planets, a Galaxy and Universe and many more. Somewhere out there is another civilization, another race alien to us, looking at us or for us just as we are looking for them. Will they find us or us them first and what will the encounter be like? We have no answers yet because we really haven’t met anyone out there have we?.

Gene Roddenberry had a vision with Star Trek, a Vision of a space filled with civilizations, races, creatures and worlds, filled with life. He took simple things like salt and pepper shakers and used them as tools. He invented aliens who were logical, to those who were emotional and even violent. Amazing what the human mind can fathom on its own!.

I do believe space is a final frontier indeed, but before we can solve what is out there, we need to solve what is here and make peace with our own kind, humanity of all types. And we can not reach out there as Roddenberry showed and taught and produced for entertainment purposes, unless we can all get together here, and we can afford to reach out there.

We can’t build space stations, and colonize the moon, if we can’t afford it. How can one look beyond feeding its own people and nations and keeping them going? One can not and logical say they are doing things right!

The saddest part of watching the world is the way the politicians of all nations have basically the same  stupid ideas. Slow down politicians, take care of the survival and needed problems first, before reaching for the stars.

What Romney’s win means!

February 2012 is here today and last nights final votes from the Florida Primary gave Mitt Romney a double-digit win over Newt Gingrich and more than that over his two other opponents, currently left standing. Romney also gave a speech afterwards that shows him growing in stature and confidence, but still ways to go before facing a current President in a General Election.

As to the three other candidates on the Republican side here; Mr. Gingrich, Mr. Santorum and Mr. Paul, should now begin to reevaluate their campaigns and think about consolidating behind Romney. It is apparent now, that, Newt Gingrich had some staying power in South Carolina, but, his baggage of his past as Speaker of the House and Congress and his former marriages will not allow him to go over the top. He has a lot of anger and he will fight on a bit just to make a stink and get even with the world. But pride and envy, as well as anger, will not get him the nomination.

Mr. Santorum, God Bless you for running also, we all hope and pray your children are all well, especially Lil Bella. But there does come a time when a candidate must stop spending good money for a hopeless cause and this is your time Sir. You have fought a good fight, battled through Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina and Florida, gave some very good speeches, and debates and made some smart comments when you said lets stop talking how to slap each other around and give the people the answers to issues. I applaud that answer and honesty Mr. Santorum, I really do, and admire you greatly for that. It is time though for you to finally, pick up the pieces, save your money and go home and take care of your wife and children. Your only spending more than you have in a losing cause.

Ah we are then left with Mr. Ron Paul, the rouge of the Party in my opinion. The man who wishes to buck all the odds and have his say no matter what. While I admire Mr. Paul and his views in some areas, in the end Mr. Paul is not a true Conservative Republican, his views are too outlandish and liberal. While I agree with his ideas on wars, we don’t need them, we also don’t need to police other countries, he knows as I know he can never get the Nomination of his Party they would never give it to him. I believe what he really wants is a say in the Republican Platform at the convention. He will get his say is all and he has earned it by the way he has run.

Mr. Romney is now officially the front-runner for the Republican Nomination, and he needs to work on the issues that face America, and the Issues he will face come the General Election. He also needs to work on his speech and style and his way of presenting issues and himself to the public now. He must begin to come up with solid plans for the economy, health insurance, Medicare and Medicaid and social security, and how to create jobs, jobs, job. Get some damn good advisors Mr. Romney and find concrete ways to produce innovation, invention and creation of work for the American people. If you want to win come November, you will have to have concrete solutions for the issues facing America and be able to clearly put them forward in plain English for the people to understand!.

The Stooges and The President

The End of January 2012 has arrived and the Floridians must speak today as to which Republican they want to get the nomination and run against President Obama. Four Republican on one ballot in any state is like Moe Howard bring his Stooges around and himself and asking you to choose who ya like! Ya had Moe=Romney, then ya had Shemp=Ron Paul, then ya had Curly=Gingrich, and then Larry=Santorum. It’s a funny act to watch but one must stand up and be real or no one competes.

I watched the Florida Debates and every time Curly(Gingrich) opened his mouth, old Moe(Romney) would slap him upside his head. Then after a while Shemp(Santorum) had enough bull and said so, and in the end all four Stooges stood there and looked so lost as the debates ended. Larry( Ron Paul) was indeed like an outsider added to the show for relief. It all was one hell of an act in its day wasn’t it?. But is it what we need to run for President or not?

Like the Stooges in their beginning, they had a manager who paid each one hundred dollars a show and no more and used them as the act to make himself look good, his name was Ted Healy. Well, the Stooges beginning is about to happen all over again soon, when President Obama steps up to the plate to run for reelection. He will be like Ted Healy was to the Stooges in their beginning, staging them, and paying them respects and comments but never enough to get them over the top. Thats the way I see the 2012 election so far this year, it’s a running circus of Stooges and Manager about to have a contract dispute, over who gets to do what and how much they get paid. Sad isn’t it, but true, it happens because people run for the Presidency and have no idea what they are pursuing or why or what to do with it when they get there.

My real opinion of this whole circus so far is what I say above, the Republicans are like the Stooges!

In 2008 at least when the Democrats ran Hillary against Obama, there was no Stooges act, there was indeed intelligent conversations and discussions of the real issues at the time.Hillary ran strong and hard on the issues and came oh so close to being the first female President of the United States, and if you look at her today, she is one of the best Secretaries of State in the Nation’s History. So, why couldn’t the Republicans produce a competitive race for their Nomination this year, I do not know for sure, but I know this, you can’t let the Stooges over run Ted Healy until they can stand on their own act!.

Maybe what we Need to Do?

Advice for politicians comes from many sources, they have history and advisers, and one for every area out there, except one, the actual people they want to represent. The only way a politician who is running for office of any position learns anything real is to listen to the people they are working for.

In each state we have Governors and Senators and Representatives, few of which even bother to listen to those they are supposed to work for. Sadly once elected Politicians become like Drew Peterson who killed his four wives, they believe themselves to be untouchable. It’s not true folks, if the people you represent decide your too phoney and not worthy of your position, you can be voted out next cycle around. Such is the case for all public offices that get filled by-election cycles, and it would be wise to remember that for all members of the Senate and House. For I believe there comes a time when we as Americans have to realize we made mistakes when voting and remove the trash so to say and back up whoever is going to be our next President, so we can move the country forward and improve it.

Maybe, we thought we were being smart by using the old checks and balances system to hold President Obama in check when we elected a Republican House to balance it all. But Americans are now beginning to understand that we screwed this one up. You can’t elect someone President and give them no support or backing in the House or Senate and think things will change, it won’t happen.

There is one big difference between the two parties that are out there now. One Party will spend, spend, spend till no money is left and stop. The second party will spend, spend, spend, and then when the money runs out borrow more and do so on credit and get us deeper in debt. Sadly it has been that way since way back when and is still today.

If you want to win the Presidency this 2012 in November, I think you need to listen to the people this time for sure, they are angry in their own way.

The children need better schools, and education,Stop this No Child Left Behind program it sucks. The Medical Program called Obama Care works but needs fixing in certain areas fix it.  Keep American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines home, no more wars, no policing other nations problems and use that money to create jobs here at home. Take the funding for the wars, in Iraq and Afghanistan and bring it all home and pour it into manufacturing and creating products to sell to other nations, and balance the trade markets by tarriffing and taxing incoming products and raising the exports out so we get the trade balance in our favor once more.

2012 will be a very important election in American History for we all must make a choice this year that will affect the country for years to come. We can vote, to elect a new President and Congress and move the country forward, but would it be the right thing to do, or would reelecting President Obama and giving him the support he needs in both theHouse and Senate be best?

And is there a candidate whether it is Obama, Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, or Paul, who can promise us, they will stop borrowing Social Security money to pay bills, they will leave Health Care intact and Medicare and Medicaid too? Is there a candidate who can speak on how specifically they will create jobs, turn the economy around and make America a better place for future generations, instead of selling our souls and hearts to other countries? These are questions American’s need to ask and get answers to and the politicians need to answer truthfully for a change. America’s life as a free nation is at stake and it’s future too!.

Needs of The People and Elections

The possibilities of who can lead this nation for the next four years or more, are clear at this stage, but, how many of the four Republicans can really lead and make the important choices all need. And if they fail to hit the mark and have the right answers, I promise them, President Obama will have them.

The choices are clear but are the issues and who will protect the American people if the wrong choice is made come November, no one. You want to win in November you will have to have solutions to certain issues that will work, not just be electable but be knowledgable and aware of the needs of Americans. How many of the Republicans are hitting the real issues at this stage and speaking the truth needed to repair the issues?

I see the real issues for the American People and the country in the following items and wonder who has the real answers. 1) The American Economy and it’s failure to grow at a steady rate, why and how do you fix it? 2) Job Growth and creating real jobs that Americans can work at, get those factories running again, be inventive, innovative and realistic and remember America is made up of Blue-Collar workers not White-Collar ones. 3) Level the trade markets and trade agreements and get us on equal footing with the world once more We can keep importing, more than we export and survive, nor can we allow China, Japan, and other countries to flood our markets with items we can make if we set our minds to it. 4) Don’t hurt the elderly people of this country, do not touch Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security. Stop borrowing from the Social Security Funds, people put there for their own use in old age, matter of fact, add to it in some way and make it more solvent. 5) Medical and prescription costs are crazy, lower the bills, and costs and make medical care affordable for all, it doesn’t have to be federal run, but it has to be federal controlled or the Medical Practice personnel will own all Americans before they are 40. 6) Before Welfare is used on any family, make sure the parents are given a chance at a job somewhere. Retraining of people is vital to the American Work-Force and Economy! Restore American Pride and know how and use it!. 7) Keep us out of wars and policing of other nations, we don’t belong in there and we are not the world’s cops.

As a Disabled American Veteran who served his country for 16 years and gave up his health to do so, I want the Veteran’s Benefits kept intact and even increased for those of us who served Honorably and earned them. I don’t want to hear cutting back on benefits, or VA. Hospitals not accepting qualified Veterans as patients that would be crap to me. So, I hope and pray these candidates running for office listen to the American People and get it right this time.

Last comment here, if we re-elect President Obama you must give him a Democratic House and Senate to back him up for progress to be made. If you elect a Republican then you must do the same for them. No progress is what we got out of the 2008 election here and total gridlock, we can’t afford another four or eight years of the same, fix it folks.
