A Christmas Poem Wish for All!

Christmas Time is upon us all, the snow may come and it may fall,

The winds shall blow and fat men in red suits will Ho Ho Ho,

Children will laugh and ask for gifts, and parents will rush to and fro,

To find the gifts, for all they know!

Televisions will play Christmas Parades, Hanukkah candles will be lit, one by one,

All to celebrate the birth of God’s Son!

As we celebrate this Holy Day, and the year rolls to an end,

I just want to say, to foes and friends, where ever you may be,

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah too,

From Me to Each of You!

Let Peace reign, let happiness come your way,

Let 2020 go and 2021 come in,

Happy New Year is next, Let it begin!

Let us stand tall, let us stand proud, lets beat Covid-19, and move on as, allowed!

Happy Holidays once more, good health and good will, I pray for all that the virus did kill,

Let’s take the Season, to give reason, to all that has happened, and changed,

Help one another, and let’s fight on,

In the image of God’s Son.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, and to all a Happy New Year!

William M. McCurrach December 19th, 2020.
