We are now at over 147,000 Americans dead from Coronavirus, isn’t it time we wake up to Trump’s failures on these issues?

It is time to ask some questions, we are on July 27th, 2020. So some things must be faced and faced with reality and a clear vision, for the world and America’s future here.

Let’s talk coronavirus first and foremost since it is dominating the world and people are dying daily in the thousands range. Where did the virus originate? What caused it or created it? How did it grow and spread so fast and why, what conditions keep it spreading? Then we have to face the ultimate question, what kills this virus, a vaccine is more than likely the choice here, and how long will it take to develop a safe one for all humanity?

In the past a vaccine that works, took up to four or five years to discover. Will it take that amount of time and how many will die? As the numbers of cases and deaths rise, how will humanity react?

Trump has failed at the whole affair concerning the virus and how it is handled. Period!

The Economy, is next, it’s in the pits and only going to get worse as the virus rages, and people can’t work. IT is another trump failure anyway if you look at it, he inherited it from Obama and it was on top and rising, since he entered office he has killed it one step at a time, till the virus came and murdered it big time.

Hi so called wall between Mexico and America nad having the mexicans pay for it Failure! You can’t fix 600 mile sof wall and paint it and hang a sign saying President Trump built this and call it complete, Failure folks.

Kim Jong Un and North Korea and the missiles, he failed to negotiate the nuclear build-up by North Korea big time. He gave Kim Jung Un a seat at the big table world-wide, by meeting with him. Each meeting went worse than the first. Sadly, we now have another country with Nukes to watch over.

He pulled us from organizations he has no business doing.

Now the virus rages, and trump wants American children to return to schools and classrooms, the are like incubators for the virus. We know not how these children will be, will they be safr, will they spread the virus, will they be carriers of it, how will it affect the health of our children when they get the virus, what are the long care effects?

If Americans don’t get what I am saying then they are either blind or foolish really. Blind followers, followed Charles Manson, they followed Jim Jones, and died or people were killed, how do you awaken blind Trump followers? Simple le some of them catch the virus and watch how fast their votes will change then, or let their children get the virus and see if they support Trump’s views on it then. Once it hits home to your family, your opinions change fast. Is that what it will take, for Trump followers to get the message? We are now at over 147,000 Americans dead from Coronavirus, isn’t it time we wake up to Trump’s failures on these issues?

What a life we must live!

I have dabbled in many fields of endeavor in my life, I started as a paperboy, hand delivering, over 300 papers on two routes, I was fourteen years old then. Did I get to keep the profits or enjoy them in anyway, no, the bill was paid weekly, then the money was handed over to my step-father. While many of my customers would give me big tips, little did they know I was not the one spending what they gave me.

I dabbled in many areas as I said over the years. rebuilding a home with my step-father, rebuilding a stone wall for it too. We did masonry work, to carpenter work, to auto repairs also. There were very few areas I did not try in my life, including plumbing and more.

What areas did I like or not like did not matter, they were jobs which ultimately led me to first factory work when I dropped out of High School at 16. As my step-father and mother told me neither of them would go to the school with me for a meeting to get me back in. So my step-father said no school, get a job and pay me rent to live here. Thus began a lesson in hard work and earning my way.

I went on to factory work, working all kind of hours to make a buck, my years in Uniroyal, I did 80 hour weeks many time in the years I worked there. I was a serviceman, delivering and putting up parts for sneakers on a conveyor line making Keds. It was repetitive, boring and in the end didn’t last for me. But, I made good money while i could. Although a job is repetitive and boring once you get used to it, you still do it just to survive. Thus was my case. Factory work never was my cup of tea so to say, so as I grew a little older I struggle for jobs, many times living without on unemployment.

Two years after I quit High School, I went and took the GED Test, which is the equivalent of a High School diploma. Passed it the first time around. Then I stood around and wnet what do I do next. So I ran down and made a move I regretted later joining the U.S. Army. I was young and dumb and yes I failed at it and was given a Trainee Discharge and of course Honorably Discharged. I didn’t have the ability at the time to concentrate and make it, due to attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity and basically, immaturity. I did last 6 month approximately. I was a M-88 Tank Retriever in Training.

I returned home fora short period of time and wondered what to do with myself. I was living week to week, meal to meal and day to day on bare minimum. I ended up in a room at the YMCA, by myself, lonely and just surviving among older men who were basically sick or alcoholics. Of course I became bored and kept looking for what to do next.

After jumping around from factory job to factory job washing dishes, and peeling potatoes for a restaurant and cleaning the place to eat for a while, for meals, I finally said ok enough, I went up and joined the National Guard in my hometown. I would serve there over a three year period, as a Machine Gunner Scout. Two meetings a month, plus two weeks in the summer for training. It supplemented my income for me to survive as I struggled through odd jobs.

After three years of doing this, I decided there was no place for me in my hometown to survive, no jobs there to make a real living on. so I went down to a Recruiting Office and joined the United States Navy. The U.S. Navy began for me, that December 1978 and would last till July 1989. I had hoped to be an electrician actually, but the Navy said i was partially color blind, so, I became a Boiler Technician, when I signed up.

The military now became my life, I was in Great Lakes , Ill., and then Norfolk, Va. and my final duty station turned out to be Portsmouth Naval Hospital. I served like i said as a Boiler Technician, aboard three ships, a Guided Missile Destroyer, a Oiler, refueling other ships at sea and the last one was LPD, which didn’t last long due to my injuries. When I was done in the Navy, I had served as, a Boiler Technician. a Master At Arms,a BEQ or Barracks Manager, to name a few positions. My being discharged from The Navy was a sad moment for me, but, I had no choice in the matter, I could go back to sea on a ship with six herniated discs in my spine so I was Medically Discharged. BY the time of my discharged I was at the time married with two daughters. I lost my home and ultimately my family due to my discharge for I had no income to keep us afloat.

Surprisingly, I came home looking for work once more, and ended up in the Hotel Business as of all things a Front Desk Clerk, then later asa maintenance man. During this time I went to the Veterans Administration and they decided I needed new training and I was offered a chance to return to school. The Veterans Administration tested me for a fit and it turned out to be Hospitality Management, I went to college at Naugatuck, Valley Community Technical, I started in a summer program taking remedial courses in math and english. Three years after I began, I graduated with a 3.75 average out of a possible 4.0. I am a Member of Alpha Beta Gamma and Phi Theta Kappa Honor Societies. I won the 1997, Connecticut Lodging and Attractions Award and more. I went on to manage Hotels for a short period of time. But, when your disabled, in pain, bored it doesn’t work for you.

I would go on to find out, I suffered from PTSD from childhood beatings and military PTSD also and need help to keep going. Again the Veterans Administration helped me, I was given full benefits. Life has now become bearable and liveable, and has been for over twenty years now, I am now 64. I balance myself by staying alone a lot with my second wife. I never was a big social animal and still am not to this day, I hate crowds, I hate too much loud noise, and I hate men who beat on women or abuse them in anyway, including verbally. All comes from my rough childhood I had.

But, in the end I took to just being me, so I write some. I did some poems, some short stories and numerous blogs, no I am not rich, nor am I famous, who can be when they can’t edit well or really write that well, no matter how much they try. I do, try to sell what I write some, but, I have been at it too long to not know, .99 cent pamphlets are not books. They are just shorts I do, my attention span is too short for much, unless it is a passion I am speaking of. Part of me, knows, the stories are there in me, I just can’t get them fully out in my current condition. So, I dabble and pass he time.

There must be millions of Veterans like myself out there, unable to work, barely getting by and bored. I know the syndrome I have seen it many times before. Old Veterans, end up along, we end up bored, depressed and thinking of a way to end the boredom. We get depressed because we can’t live with memories, past pains, and the fact we can’t do much for ourselves anymore. So, I have turned to blog writing, and it keeps me going for now, we all need a way to vent and let it out don’t we?

In case some Doctor or therapist sees this and goes oh no he sounds like a coming suicide case, I say this not yet. I have been taking care of my wife who is sixteen years my senior since 2006, when she first came down with breast cancer. It’s been a struggle yes, but I wouldn’t give up ever and won’t on her. In The Middle of it all, when she went into remission for a bit, I came down with lung cancer myself. It was 2013, September 4th, when they removed a lobe and a third of my right lung. I survived it after long surgery and recovered too. Only to find out my wife’s breast cancer is back again.

Since, 1972, cancer has been a part of my life in one way or another. My Grandfather died of it that year, a girl I knew in high school had it too. In 1984 my real father died of lung cancer, my stepfather died in 1990 of it too and then ultimately my mother went also in 1991 from it. So, in one way or another cancer has chased my life and me around.

Now, it is 2020, my wife will be 80- years old come September and our marriage anniversary will be our 20th. If we both make it there that is. Her cancer is still with us, she suffers daily and nightly and I care for her the best I can at home. Her latest bout with cancer isa long one for sure, and I have no idea how she keeps going on. Today, she has gone by chemo treatments and radiation, they worked for some years, Now we are on to immunotherapy, and shots for her bones. Every three weeks this poor woman must go into a Cancer clinic and take the meds and shot. Blood draws get taken and her tumor markers are traced. The last visit was about a week or so ago, she came out acting chippy and happy to be alive, and waited till we drove away, heading home to tell me her tumor markers had risen slightly. As any doctor or cancer patient will tell you, rising tumor markers usually mean, the treatment is failing, But, she looked at me and said we shall see in 3 weeks. She doesn’t give up and we will fight on together, only time can tell us how long it will be.

So, for those who think, I am crazy, I am sometime unrealistic, or over passionate about some subjects, maybe so, but my reasoning is simple as you can now see, after reading this, I do what I can to survive in the best possible way I can and to keep my wife alive too, daily.

We live now day to day, like all in the world, hoping for a new day we can wake up to. Never knowing when we won’t is rough. As the world today faces coronavirus (Covis-19) as it is called and thousands die a day, because they won’t listen to the experts, I want all of you to stop and think, what of the ones like us, my wife and I, we have to fight cancer and other illnesses and injuries to survive, and now coronavirus too. What a life we must live, it’s a long road to hoe and pave to try to stay alive these days!.

So Please forgive me!

This is not a book, but a lil relationship manual that pokes fun at life!

Will, I ever get serious about writing, many have asked, but when your born with Attention Deficiet Disorder and Hyperactivity, grow older and get PTSD from childhood and then from your service years, you tend to leap from one thing to another. I have survived though it all, childhood beating, verbal abuse, 16 years of Service in three branches, six herniated discs in my spine, a bout with lung cancer, and I still continue on!

I watched and grieved for a grandparent who died of cancer, a father who died from it, a step father and a mother too. Now a days I am older in my mid 60’s folks and I care for my wife who is 16 years my senior and has stage four breast cancer and is now on immunotherapy. I go yearly for appointments to check my cancer, and to make sure it hasn’t come back.

Will I ever work on a serious book and get one edited and published that makes sense or is well written, I don’t know, I dabble is all. So Please forgive me!

A Truth Quote that’s Real !

truth quotes when you want help people tell yourself what they hear thomas sowell wisdom

This quote is the truth that counts, for people tend to bend the truth to get you to do what they want you to do. Then when you don’t bend or change they feed you what they want you to hear to try to convince you to do or be as they wish. Always be true to thyself, and in your beliefs, morals and ethics, for if you bend for them, your not real to yourself.

This is getting like when Rome Burned and Nero fiddled!

As Coronavirus deaths climb in America, and we rolled over 143 thousand now heading to 144 thousand, what hope does the world have in stopping the virus?

Do we even know exactly where it came from? If we knew the source, it might give clues as to, what exact kind of virus it is and how to stop its spread.

World-wide people are dying quickly as the virus spreads, by air, and touch. Yet, there is still no information other than wearing masks and social distancing, as to ,what to do about it all.

The world’s greatest hope for finding a cure is the scientist and Medical Experts in the field of, virology. They are working around the clock trying to isolate the virus, trying to categorize it and then trying to find the solution to it, which will be a vaccine.

As we wait and hope bodies are piling up around the world, new cemeteries are opening and being filled quickly. Trailers and trucks with freezing or cooling units are being used to store the dead from the virus. The bodies keep coming folks, why, because people don’t listen to the medical and scientific communities and use masks and social distance and wash and clean properly.

Listen people please, listen! We have enough people deathly ill now because of other diseases, such as cancer, and more. Diabetics have to stay in and use masks and more too. Do you have a heart condition, diabetes, lung problems, stomach problems, stay home folks. Any underlying condition can give this coronavirus a way to attack you and it will and has now over 147 hundred thousand Americans. Think about that ladies and gentlemen, please. Many are still in denial over the virus and ignore the safety instruction being put out, sadly they will learn when one of their loved ones, family or friends come down with it and suffer or die. Then their eyes will open and they will listen, but it will be too late and after the facts.

We cannot deny the facts of the coronavirus, they hit us in the face daily. I don’t care what President Trump says. The Virus is real, it won’t suddenly be gone one day and like a miracle we will all be fine and go back to normal. It won’t happen without a dedicated response by all Americans and all people’s of the world in such a fight. United and on the same page is the only way to defeat this virus folks!

Before you can reopen the country, send your children back to classrooms, or get back the economy and jobs we had, we must beat the virus first. Do you really think putting the children of America back in school will help kill the coronavirus or stop it’s spread? It won’t, it will be like placing children who are innocent in an incubator for the virus and saying they won’t get it. Classrooms are enclosed, spaces, the teachers have to be there, the facilitators must be there, the maintenance staff and more. Stop and think about what you’re doing, when you send your children back to school if you do. Do you want to expose them to the coronavirus? All it will take to weaken a child’s immune system is one cold, one cough, one sneeze and the virus attacks them, They become either sick or carriers that are asymptomatic now and bring it home.

President Trump won’t wear a mask to set an example and save lives. He wants to hold public rallies to get re-elected. He is not backing the scientist and Doctors on this virus. So, because he won’t lead, follow the recommendations, hundreds of thousands, follow him and get the Coronavirus and many die. It’s that simple folks. They ran to his rallies, and many got the virus. Remember, it’s out there. How many deaths or coronavirus victims did President Trump cause, and how far did he help it spread?

A Leader leads for the good of the nation, the world and the people, not for his own political purposes or re-election! Donald J. Trump is not a leader, ask his own niece, who told him to resign recently in an interview. You don’t worry about moving portraits around in the White House when the world and country are burning down around you. This is getting like when Rome Burned and Nero fiddled!

You won’t get there re-electing Trump, He has to go!

Life goes on each day, and we all hear the news daily now. The Coronavirus is killing people worldwide folks, and the numbers in America are going up not down. We all see it on all the news networks and we hear the advice of the Scientists and Doctors and and Nurses. Stay safe, stay home, only shop when you have to to survive, wear masks and social distance, by staying a minimum of six feet apart. These are the experts folks, not some fools who don’t understand what is happening. They understand what we are dealing with, a virus that is contagious, dangerous and deadly, and people still don’t listen. Why?

I love America; I love its freedoms as much as any American out there. I love the right to free speech, to run free, to enjoy life. Yet, I also know the less we listen to the experts, the more that die from this virus, so wake up and listen. You give up the right to look pretty to wear a face mask and save your life that’s the real deal here folks. That simple!

I served Uncle Sam, for 16 years folks, I fell down a metal ladder aboard a ship and have six herniated discs in my spine. I suffer from PTSD from childhood and service daily; I get over anxious and irritated fast at times. All a result of my injuries and time in service to my country. Yet, I still never touch another person or force anyone to do anything against their will. Never will and don’t believe in it.

I watch as America goes to war with itself over whether to wear face masks and social distance. I find it sad as people listen to President Trump who said over 138,000 deaths ago that the virus would disappear. It hasn’t, has it? Sadly, it spreads daily, why because people want to listen to President Trump and expect him to lead, he doesn’t and can’t. Sadly, we have the worst President in American History!

Anyway, as we move forward, there is a push to send the children back to school and people back to work to fire up America’s Economy again, by President Trump. Any move to do so is foolish without a vaccine folks, it’s like putting the kids into a box where the virus will breed and saying ok they won’t get sick or spread the virus now. It’s full out bullshit, done for nothing but his reelection, period. He thinks if he can get the economy fired up again he will get reelected; I doubt it big time. Not all of Americans have the American Government Medical experts keeping them safe like Trump does, we have to go out and live actual life, not in the Glass House of The White House watched 24/7. It’s nice to be President, isn’t it.

Which brings us around one more time to the election in November 2020, on the 3rd. This may very well be the most important election America will face in its history. The fate of America is in this election, which is now in recession, and at the top of the world in Coronavirus deaths. To recover we need an actual leader, not a con man, not a tv show host and failed businessman! Changes must come and I would take a dog over Trump. But that’s an opinion, so pardon my anger ok.

I didn’t serve 16 years and get injured, for Trump to destroy what I fought to save and keep going, America’s democracy and Republic. Did we fight to survive and to better the country, so one man can lead it to its destruction and hand it to other nations? No, We can take care of ourselves if we just get new leadership, a new direction that benefits all the people of America, not just the rich. They need changes as we drop out of every organization that counts in the world and we lose the leadership position in the economy, health, and politics. We can’t keep going down Trump’s road to destruction, it is costing us lives, families and friends, positions, respect and more. Sadly, America is falling behind the world now and slipping into third world status. We must stop it before we have more homelessness camps being put up and so much more. Chaos will come, if we don’t grab the reins and get ahold of it all soon. We must turn it around.

Color, race, nationality, have nothing to do with it. All colors, white, black, brown, yellow, all nationalities, must wake up now. We can’t allow America to go backwards and have a Civil War again, nor can we allow or do we want a racial war. What we need is united, one nation under god, indivisible with Justice for all. Not division, turmoil, hate! We need United, we all bleed red, we all hurt the same, we all cry the same, we all want freedom, we all want justice, fairness and a peaceful life. You won’t get there re-electing Trump, He has to go!

Don’t

               Swear you know it all!

Try to be the savior for all, you will fail.

Believe everything your told, it’s only half true.

Don’t choose sides between, children or siblings and parents,

You lose everything  if you do.

Don’t judge a divorced parent as the guilty one and the other,

As a hero, because both failed at the marriage, not just one.

Don’t battle among family members, for the family you lose

Will be your own and you will need them one day.

Don’t lie everyday about anything to hide something,

In the end the truth will bite you in the ass and cost you!

Don’t is a precautionary word, usually meaning you will pay

Later if you do, do it.

Don’t turn on your own flesh and blood, for when you need

Them in return they won’t be there for you and yours.

Sadly, most have no memories of don’ts, they automatically,

Take sides, and burn themselves later over it all.

                  Sadly, just Don’t!!!!!!!!!!!

11/22/63 On Amazon Prime

11/22/63- The day John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dealey Plaza, in Dallas, Texas. It changed American history and the direction of the world. Now, I sat in a classroom in Elementary School at the time it happened and the teacher had brought in a small portable television set so we could watch the President in Dallas that day. We were shock, in awe and unbelieving of what just happened, as we watched over live television.

Over the past couple of nights, I watched Amazon Prime, and watched the show 11/22/63 based on the book by Stephen King. The show portrays a chance to change history by one man returning to 1960 and changing history by saving John F. Kennedy. It has two sides to it. It was quite a concept by Stephen King to fabricate the story and facts interwoven in the story in such a way. I enjoyed it, for the movie gave some history and then a look at what happens if mankind could mess with history and by time travel.

I personally started my investigation as a child, and it grew into a full-blown one over the years. I read every article, book I could find and even went over everything I can find on the internet regarding it in current days. The people involved that most wonder about, Lee Harvey Oswald, Jack Ruby, James Hosty, and more are all interesting characters of the time. Each has a part of the story, so many conspiracy theories come up. Did the Cia kill Kennedy? Did Cuba or Russia have a part in it all? Was Lyndon B. Johnson behind it? Was Oswald controlled by anyone? Was there more than one shooter and how many shots were fired that day? The questions left over from the Warren Report were huge and never fully answered. So we ended up with two more reports over the years that followed it all up. Each of these recent investigations did find conspiracy behind Kennedy’s assassination existed. Amazingly, yet the government does not come out and say who really is behind it all. Why I guess we shall never know, Cuba was mentioned due to Castro, The Bay of Pigs. Many of the theories were not in King’s book, or this movie though.

The show 11/22/63, tells us messing with time, trying to change it affects too many things in the timeline and screws up what happened in a bad way. So the hero goes back and resets it, for obvious reasons, Harry, Sadie and the world. It becomes an interesting show as it ticks down to the assassination and then afterwards. The things he finds happened after he saves Kennedy, and the reality, doesn’t work. So he must reset it.

11/22/63 has a moral story line, it also has a love story in it. So, if you have time, and need something to watch and you have Amazon Prime, give it a look. My wife had fun and enjoyed it somewhat.
