My understanding of Social Media Apps, like Facebook, Twitter,SnapChat, Instagram, and Tumblr is they are put there so people may express themselves and their views as they want and need to.

Yet Twitter, has suspended 1.9 million users, and no explanation is given to those suspended as to why or what for? I awoke one day to try to log into my account on Twitter and got a message that says my account is suspended and I can’t use twitter. No time limit on said suspension, no reason why I was suspended and it’s now been three weeks and some odd days.

I have recently been told others who have been suspended we’re suspended for bad mouthing President Trump, and his politics. If that is so by Twitter, then they can face a legal suit, I am sure for, breaching the free speech laws and more.

Twitter has a problem in doing what they did, suspending 1.9 million people, no explanation for the suspensions and no way to contact Twitter to appeal or ask why, or to get an explanation from them is wrong! All Twitter gives is an Automated Reply if you appeal your case:

You also have no access to the so called open report page as stated in the reply. So you have no way to defend your suspension, or find out why it was imposed upon your account, or how long it last, or if it will be permanent or not.

If I had money I would hire a lawyer and send a mass email to those suspended by Twitter and file a class action suit against Twitter for taking away our rights to free speech and not have a way to take action, recourse or really appeal it. They give no information as to what one is suspended for, they don’t answer anyone, when you do appeal through their Help sight, on their web page, except for an automated reply saying your appeal is under review by them. When you ask for why they say nothing.

I didn’t know Twitter, Facebook, Instagram,Tumblr or any other social media app has any political affiliations or connections. It seems Twitter is connected to or affiliated with Trump and his campaign, so those who disagree or bad mouth Trump get suspended or banned, from their service. That is sad if it is so.

My knowledge of social media apps is limited of course for I only use them for things like , posting ebook ads for books I wrote, to fight cancer, for both my wife and I are victims of it, and to debate, argue and fight political corruption by Trump and his administration and Trump personally.

At times I may post links from my blog, about the same subjects on Twitter, FaceBook, Tumblr, SnapChat or other social media apps. They are called freedom of speech and personal opinion pieces. Not attacks of anyone or anything, but my opinions and ideas on what is happening, who is causing it and why and what I believe should be done about it. People do it everyday and stay on Twitter, just look at President Trump’s Twitter page each day and you will see.

To Twitter I say this, you are suspending people for unjust and illegal reasons, with no written explanation or way to correct the issue if there is one. You are giving those suspended like myself no recourse to defend ourselves, or to adapt the way we post or tweet, our opinions. That is wrong Twitter, I know you hit the stock exchange recently and think your as big as facebook and the rest and are protected, but you can be taken to court and fined for breach of free speech, defamation of character and much more for suspending so many people without a clear reason or rules breach, or a way they can really appeal and get answers on what they did wrong. Ask Facebook if you must, they are paying huge fines themselves at this time for mining information and taking and giving away personal information of their users. Millions in fines are happening right now.

Twitter should be aware of all that is happening on their APP, all the appeals, all the reasons for any suspensions or bans or anything else they do to their users, should be clearly stated as to why they are doing so to the users and there should be a place to correctly appeal and fight any suspension or ban.

Yet Twitter replies with Automated replies and no recourse for their users. why?

America’s biggest problem is not being discussed much these days. It is combination of a bunch of things, but is mainly about healthcare and to be precise mental health care and the need for it.

I have seen now President Trump kill Obamacare and not replace it at all, it is sad really. Why would anyone kill a healthcare plan that could have covered all, if allowed to expand, and then not replace it with anything leaving millions of Americans with no coverage at all? Makes no sense to me that’s for sure!

Canada has healthcare coverage for all, other nations have healthcare coverage for all and it covers prescriptions too. I know it has wait times and problems, but, if America wants HealthCare for all we should send people to Canada or other countries, find out how they did it and incorporate it into the American System and Country. We can change it as we go if it doesn’t work precisely the way we want it to for either side of the healthcare package, like prescription drugs or wait times too.

To have nothing at all for HealthCare coverage for the American people is wrong and all Americans want some form of coverage. The best way to do so is cover all like Canada is doing and make it work here. The healthcare we need must cover prescriptions and all health problems, plus mental health too. Mental health is vital to any healthcare coverage, and prescription prices are crazy now and need to be lowered. America can do this for future generations, and get it done, I have no doubt on it.

Mental Health care has to be a primary coverage of any Health Care Coverage in America, mental health problems are on a big rise and causing violence all around the country. Gun crimes rise, and people point fingers at the gun laws and I agree that is major part of the problem too, but mental health exams are vital.

Medicare will not cover all even if expanded to all. The point is medicare only covers so much, so we need a HealthCare plan that covers all and is inclusive for all things in America. Other wise more killings, gun violence and murders will continue to happen and rise.

We need to send people to Canada and Switzerland and Sweden and other nations with HealthCare for all, learn how they did it and adapt it for all americans. HealthCare should be a right for all!

I don’t know how long my life may be, I am now 63, my body aches from injuries I attained serving my country and in other ways also. I hurt physically from injuries, such as herniated discs in my spine, arthritis in many joints. But I think in my case, it has never been about the physical pains, it has always been about the mental pain or emotional suffering.

Each person is different in the way they live their lives and we learn that as we grow older for sure. We each hide things, bury them inside and carry them with us, through life, affecting how we are accepted or not accepted by others and how we react to others too. What the mental aspects of one’s life are, affects all, we really do.

I, for instance, have always been fighting to be me, myself, you know what I mean, I am sure. I never was a hero in anyway, nor was I a joiner. People like me are called loners and it is for a reason. Loners stay alone for many reasons, and each reason they have usually has to do with experiencing things they shouldn’t have , for reasons they could not control. So to avoid future pain, hurt or damage to myself I isolate myself from the world, it’s a built in mechanism in people who are damaged or hurt, period.

Few know loners, and why they become loners, and what caused us to be loners. Some loners have problems not their fault, they were born with hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder, or a mental instability or personality disorder. Like me, I fit into many of the above reasons for being a loner. I also know I prefer being one, for I can’t take the risk of emotional abuse, or mental abuse anymore, I border on a breaking point and I know it, so I avoid it by staying alone. It’s s choice I made many decades ago as a kid, around ten years old, when I was looked at as emotionally damaged and a problem child. When I was shipped off to an institution for emotionally damaged children for two years, by a mother who couldn’t handle me. That’s called abuse by me, or the beatings from a stepfather, that I didn’t deserve but got, as did my brothers. Yes, we all got beat, but, as most will say, I always got the worst of it.

It wouldn’t be until I got to High School at 14 to 15 years old when the beatings stopped, why because I wasn’t there anymore. So the physical beatings I escaped, not out of anything other than the fact, I outgrew it physically. The mental abuse, verbally never stopped until I left home permanently and never returned.

All of it from my childhood, is now by medical experts called Post Traumatic Shock Disorder, or PTSD. I have memories that affect everything I do, from my childhood and from my time in service too. PTSD, makes it rough to survive in life, because an action by someone else, can cause me to flash back mentally and the reaction can surprise others as not being normal at all. I can flash to anger at times, I can flash to tears at times also, I don’t want the world to see it, so I do what comes naturally for me, I isolate myself, and I disappear, or I lash out in anger, or find myself crying in private for what many wouldn’t understand or I wouldn’t want them to see.

I flash to tears watching television sometimes, because something triggers a memory from childhood or from the military when I served. These periods are real, but hidden and the anger ones are held inside as best I can. We build coping mechanisms mentally and use them on automatic pilot as needed. It’s all a part of my PTSD.

The older one gets, the more easier it is to isolate and avoid then to face and fight. The less chance of lashing out at someone else and hurting them by accident this way. That’s why I am a loner, as much as I can be. PTSD is not something we can control, if you suffer it, it is just something you can seek help with, but it will never disappear fully, it’s becomes a part of who you are. You live with it in the best ways you can, is all and you suffer through.

I am a Loner, always have been and always will be til the day I die. Right or wrong, left or right, up or down, doesn’t matter to me anymore. Not when the PTSD sets in or acts up, I lash out, I cry, I react in strange ways and then bounce back later. This is the life a PTSD Victim lives, and only I can understand myself or a mental health expert, no one else will or can.

I also know my lashing out, flashing of anger or reactions from anger to tears is not normal and not on purpose or controllable at times, it just happens. I don’t intend to purposely hurt anyone, it just happens and later it leaves me with feelings of guilt to deal with on top of everything else. So it is a revolving, turning, evolving thing, I lose control of. So I try hard to stay alone and live in peace.

Time marches forward for all and everything! As we move through May 2019, many things will change and get revealed I am sure. History in and of itself has a way of revealing things people don’t want known, and ultimately it all comes out in the wash, so to say.

Lies get revealed as lies, crimes get revealed and known not only do accusations come out, but so usually will the proof of it all. My step-father who died way back now, in 1990, used to say, never lie it will bite ya in the ass if you do, he was right then and it still applies today, and always will.

We tend to forget things we learned from our parents and start doing things our own way, and then learn the hard way, what they did was the best way! We fight being told what to do, or how to do it,or how to not do it too. Parents show kids things and tell them, don’t do this, or do it this way, or don’t do it at all you’ll be sorry. Now for those young enough still being told, you should listen or face the consequences if you don’t, for we all have to learn sometime don’t we?

That said, history has so many lessons in it, it is crazy, we having learned to avoid all we have learned or that happened. Mankind is destined to learn and advance or in the end, to be exterminated in some way.

We build nuclear weapons, chemical weapons and biological weapons too. We stock pile them, and hold them in case we are attacked by a country who is our enemy. As a determinant this is great for they know we will retaliate in kind and it holds all in suspense and makes them think twice, before they do anything. But should mankind be living in this way? Holding the threat of total destruction over their fellow mankind, is it really the way one wants to live or exist.I think not, but we as a species tend to think the best way to stay safe in the modern world, is to arm ourselves, it doesn’t always work. yet for now, it seems to be the way to go.

Lets apply some or more of our technical and educational knowledge to save the planet instead of destroying it.Lets find a way to clean the air, to make the planet safer and let it work to regenerate itself naturally.The planet we live on, is vital to mankind’s survival, for we have no other liveable place to go if we dont fix it now, do we?

Is mars Liveable for mankind or any other planet out there? No one knows, we study the planets and space and we look, but we have not found a new home we can expand to yet. Sciencetist look and look but, no luck as of yet. If we get lucky someday we may, but in the meantime mankind must stop destroying the only planet and home we have.

Pollution must be stopped, plastics should be stopped and cleaned up. Air pollution must be stopped also, like the emissions of automobiles and other devices running on petroleum products of all kinds. gas, oil, diesel too must be stopped.

As the weather patterns around the world change, people seem to just accept more tsunamis, hurricanes and tornadoes as normal now. They seem to think it’s natural and it’s what we have always lived with in the past. The fact is, the more we interfere and manipulate and strip the planet of it resource, the worst it will be for all.

We need to stop all pollution, we need to plant more trees, we need to clena up all the garbage in the oceans and on land too. We were given a gift, when this planet accepted mankind to live on it, and we survived that process of adapting to it. Yet in the process of mankind adapting to the planet, we didn’t stop o think of the consequence of stripping the planet of it’s resources or minerals too. We leave pockets space where once there were minerals and more. Sadly we are depleting the planet, and when we do, where shall mankind go next? Are we killing ourselves off, is mankind coming to an end due to greed, and lust and more? We shall know soon enough I am sure!

The fiasco of a mess Twitter has recently brought upon itself by suspending 1.9 million accounts for dubious reasons, I am sure will end up in courts somewhere.

1.9 million Twitter users woke up to messages on their Twitter accounts saying they have been suspended for different reasons and no reason has been really given.

Twitter suspends accounts and gives the users they suspend no way to find out why they were suspended or anyway to contact Twitter and correct any issues or rule breaches they may have done. So in the end people are now giving up to a none responding Twitter help Page that only responds with a stupid reply, of you are suspended, and your case is under review, after you try to appeal their decision.

There are now 1.9 million users off of Twitter, or suspended as I stated for one reason or another that have no real idea why. So, my question is this, what prompted Twitter to suspend all of these accounts at one time and why do they not have a way to let the users they suspended, contact them and allow them to get back on their service or app?

I know Twitter is so proud of their App and they just went public on the Stock Exchange in New York. Yet do they realize how badly this suspension process and lack or acknowledgement and possible recourse for these suspended users is affecting their APP’s status. They are losing accounts daily, due to any lack of response by them to people asking for reinstatement and not getting replies, except automated ones.

I like many awoke to a message saying I was suspended by Twitter and my account is blocked from using their service/ app. Now, I only used Twitter for three purposes when I had it, 1) To follow the political mess in Washington, on CNN and Trump’s problems and replying or commenting on those. 2) To post a Blog Link, to my blog I write, so people can read it, 3) To post a link to my Amazon Author’s page or Book Links I have up for sale on Amazon.

Sadly, it seems no matter how many times I try to contact twitter to get my Twitter Account off of suspension, there is nothing but a automated reply from their system online. People are starting FaceBook pages listing users banned or suspended by Twitter and they are taking turns sending Twitter, lists of names of people suspended or banned, trying to get Twitter to Respond on their help page. No luck so far for me or many of the others too.

Twitter is now facing losses of users, and will of course be ultimately affected by these acts. For me, personally, I have taken Twitter off my computer and off my cell phone, and said ok you win, I wont use the service/app anymore, good-bye. No sense waking up daily and trying to log into something that just says your suspended and no way to use or fix it anymore. It becomes a useless app on my computer and phone, and until Twitter wakes up and finds a way to handle it all and fix the problems I will live without it. I have no need for Twitter anymore, other services work just as well or better, without these problems or complications, Instagram, FaceBook, Tumblr, SnapChat and more. Sadly, Twitter will not notice the loss until it is too late I am sure and it will affect their bottom line, the more Users they lose. Sadly, sometimes, companies who get so big, so fast and have so many customers or users, forget what got them to where they are.

Marvel Comics, had more characters in their stable of comic book characters then many of us remember I am sure. The World is currently in love with characters like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Avengers as a group, Black Panther and others who have taken the big screen by storm. The X-Men films ruled for a long time and some attempts at bringing others to the big screen failed. A good Comic film can only work if it sticks to what Stan Lee and other who worked for and with him made them be in comic books. You can’t change them too much or they become laughable, or silly, they must remain serious enough to carry the story line/ plot.

Spiderman, has become a large character that sells big time now with different actors over time. Again it is primarily because they kept to the character as it was created to be in the comic books. The same with The Incredible Hulk/ Bruce Banner has happened until Avengers End Game. In Avengers EndGame they combine Bruce Banner with Hulk and make him one solid character by way of CGI effects. As to whether it really works i will leave that to the audience, but in my opinion I believe it took something away from the whole character. But that is my opinion only and I can’t change anyone anyway, just express my own is all.

I would love to see the Marvel/Disney combo that made Avengers End Game make other characters come to the big screen more. The Fantastic Four is a great group for the big screen, but it must remain within the comic book version for characters to work. The Silver Surfer is a good character to put on the big screen more also, as would be his confrontations with Galactus His creator in the book. The Silver Surfer’s storyline from Marvel Comics, of his confronting his creator to save earth with the Fantastic Four as his allies is a great one if told correctly I think.

But, alas, Marvel is not the only comic book creators out there and nor are they the only ones to bring their characters to the big screen. We have seen many incarnations of Superman and Batman and one of Green Lantern brought to the big screen, plus others now like Aquaman. DC Comics has a stable of characters also they can bring to the big screen, yet they need to be more serious with them, for seem to put too much comically stuff in with them. I am not saying DC Comics needs to change their characters, for the Joker they portrayed on the Big Screen was fine. Gotham the television series on the CW, could be brought to the big screen as is and I would recommend you keep the same actors to do it too. I could imagine Gotham as a new Batman movie, set before Robin comes into play or exists in Bruce Wayne’s earlier days as Batman when he first meets each villain he faces. But they need to be serious to do it right, like they did the series.

Over my lifetime so many characters from both of these companies and their comic books have come to life on either the small screen or the big, and many who grew up with comics love them greatly. So Marvel/Disney and DC can if they study, what was done with The Avengers series creating a series of movies on them, can also be done with many. I hope Marvel/Disney and DC, can find ways and story lines to use for many others. I hope to see many more come out, for the imaginations of comic book artists and writers, deserve to be witnessed and seen by more people world wide!

Relationships, whether they be straight, homosexual, or anything else humans wish to call them, are vital to humanity surviving on the planet earth. Now I can tell you this, I have had two long term relationships with two wives.

One was my first wife which by law and history lasted twelve years and produced two daughters. I was in the Navy when I married her and I thought for sure it was the one that would last for all of my life. In the end it was her past and childhood and what her father did to her and her siblings, that ended it all. Sadly, the divorce affected not only both of us in different ways, but, it also affected our daughters, who were never the same. That first marriage I did all I could to try to save it, but, the situation was not my fault really and in the end I had no choice but to leave and protect myself from what I knew was coming. People who are sexually attacked and abused by their parents as children should never attempt to get married, I know they need love and deserve a decent life, but, they should consider the children they may have and the spouse they married when it all comes flooding back. In my first marriages cases there was no saving the marriage and the children suffered big time.

My second relationship I determined to never have children again, and to be a lot more careful, and always to be ready if it fell apart. Under those circumstances I learned, age means nothing, what does matter is open communication, caring, compromise, and a determination to make it work. I know because it has worked now for over a quarter of a century, my second wife and i have been married going on 19 years in September but we just passed the 26 year mark this Month of May 2019. Yes we lived together for seven years first, respected each others belongings and ways and learned to live with one another, never losing any emotional ties we have and that have grown stronger over time. Relationship may start from physical or mental attraction, they may develop out of physical need or out of emotional need, but in the end, it must be a two way street period. As long as you are grounded in a relationship that has love, respect, understanding, communication and compromise in it, it works. If you get to a point of selfishness, or anger, you should leave it before you or your partner of the relationship gets destroyed.

Relationships I have learned depend on certain things and I know I am repeating here, yet it is necessary all understand them.

1. Some attraction either physical or mental must be present. Or Emotional Even.
2. Open and honest communication at all times.
3. Dedication to the relationship
4. Compromise- it must be a two way street at all times.

These are the primaries for a good Relationship, add in listening and be patient and wala, you can make any relationship work. You can’t not listen, if you do, you will lose the relationship for sure.

I am proud of myself actually, for I did all the above in my second relationship and 26 years together has been great and we made it work. So, if you get in a relationship that last, do yourself a favor, never forget why you started it in the first place, and what attracted you to the other person in the first place. For if you remember that quality, and what attracted you to them in the first place you can always find it in them again and it will save it all for you in the end.

One thing to always remember about any relationship in life, love, no relationship lasts without working at it, to make it work. Don’t give up persistence pays off!

Dedication must be present also, I say this because I deal daily with a wife who has breast cancer turned to bone cancer now. I would never do what many others would do, which is run away from it. I will stay with her to her end I have no doubt, because our love has no bounds. If she should pass on me, I will be here to help her go gracefully and as painless as humanly possible, that folks is dedication, caring, and love.

Ancestry, does not make you who you are, but it does carry traits from the people you came from in your dna and even your personality. Yet each of us choose to be who we are by the experiences we live through and the people we share them with.

As a man who was born half scottish and half canadian french, I can honestly attest to these facts and the fact that I am a part of both sides of my ancestry.

My mother was a born true blood french canadian woman, with their style and their mouth so to say. Her anger and temper tantrums ran the house I grew up in.

My Father was a scottish man whose family immigrated into New York in the early 1900s. His Father was a banker, and my father became a machinist. He also, had 2 children by my mother and 7 by his second wife.

I was raised by a step-father, who was an Albanian, yes muslim man,who never forced his beliefs or ways on anyone. His anger was always held inside and only triggered by my mom. We kids paid the price for that over the years taking eatings from him when he was told to beat us and when he felt we lied or stole from him.

Now in my immediate family we had 5 of us kids. My elder brother we are not sure who his father is, but me we know, and my three younger siblings we know also. They belong to my step-father for sure. But, as in most families it is not the ancestry that makes each of us different and ourselves, it is the people we associated with growing up and our experiences.

Five of us were released upon the world over the 1970s to the 1980s. The eldest was given all my mom would give him over his life, she even convinced her husband to give the kid a car when he graduated high school. In the end what happened to him, well the car ended up in a swamp on a mountain, he ended up married at a young age of 18 and had two boys, one who is now dead from a drug overdose. he went into corporate business and did ok financially only to be wiped out by his two wives over the years.

Me, well I was always the outcast, light skinned one who stood out in the family and wa sbeat upon by my step father, my mother and my elder brother. They even institutionalized me for two years calling me emotionally unstable. Of course i wasn’t emotionally or mentally ill at all, I had what is now know as attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity, so I bounced off the wall, and I knew I didn’t fit in, with the family I was in, I was the only one light skinned, blond at the time. I overcame a lot to survive over the years, I dropped out of high school in my junior year, and one year later passed the GED, and entered service life. I did three branches over the years, serving 16 years in total, U.S. Army, Army National Guard and Then the U.S. Navy. I got injured aboard a Nay ship on duty, and was discharged Honorably Under medical conditions in the end. While serving, I had a wife and two daughters, who decided when I was discharged, I wasn’t finding a job fast enough for her, and she had mental problems from her childhood, her father raped her and her siblings over the years, there was four of them two boys and two girls. I overcame a false arrest and moved on leaving behind that wife and my two daughters whom I had no place to put to raise on my own.

I moved on to return home, bury two parents and go to college under the College Program of the Veterans Administration. I earned the only college degree in my family at 40 years old. I hold an Associates Degree in Hotel Management. My physical condition deteriorated and I could do the job anymore. I retired at 41 years old on a disability from the military and social security disability, due to my spinal injuries and more.

I own my own home and property, I have a second wife and six grandchildren too. I have two of everything also from tvs to cats and in between. I live day by day taking care of the woman I married the second time and we have been together now over 26 years and still going on. she has breast cancer and it has spread to her bones. We go to chemo and doctors for her constantly these days, and as needed.

I survived lung cancer thanks to the Veteran’s Hospital, they found it in my lungs in 2013. They operated and removed it taking a lobe and one third of my right lung. I am still here folks, and I refuse to go anywhere.

My younger siblings, start with a brother who belonged entirely to my step-father, he grew up to become a con-man, and thief. He took from others without permission and tried to love for free in anyway he could. He did do a brief stint in the U.S. Air Force, yet he died an aids victim in California under an assumed alias for a last name.

The only girl in the family grew up protected by her father and two of her four brothers, myself and the baby of the family. She is a beautiful woman, smart, and into many things these days, from writing to selling all she can, to survive, She did patient care for decades too. Married twice already in her fifties, she has three children by her two husbands, two boys and one girl. She will be fine always for she is smart and quick on her feet, survival is her.

The last son, is doing ok as I see it at least as far as I can see. he grew up protected by his parents, was hit by a car one day and lost some memories of his childhood. he is actually a very talented artist, he draws comic book type art and does so well, he works as far as I know as a technician for a bug control company. As far as I know he has been married at least twice as to children I don’t know and never will, because he doesn’t talk to any of us.

Ancestry didn’t rule what we all did or have become, family did, friends did, experiences did, not ancestry. Ancestry though is good to know, so you know where and what kind of a family you came from originally only and what traits may be in your DNA.

So, when you do your Ancestry don’t expect to be royal because your family tree says so, like I found in my, that went back to King James the fourth of Scotland. Or, the fact your other came from poor french stock out of the streets of Daphne, France. Doesn’t matter folks, for those influences are gone way before you, it does matter what you do to survive, to live properly and what you overcome to better yourself. Ancestry is the past, today is you and what you do each day, how you live, who you touch and who touches you all count. Be you, Be Honest, Be real, and Stay happy and live well!

Waterbury, Connecticut, May 2019- An Iconic landmark of a church in Saint Ann’s, is about to remove and dismantle it’s famous and well known spires. The Church I was baptised in is now old enough to be crumbling apart.

Saint ann’s has served Waterbury, Connecticut for many generations now, it was built in the French District of Waterbury, where my grandparents raised their children. St. Ann’s is not only historic and iconic, it always stands for decency in the Catholic Church and it’s school was attached to it also, where my mother went to school.

As times change, so do beliefs and religion in it’s time. The catholic church has indeed changed over the years and I have not attended a church since i was 12 years old. I have seen the catholic religion go from the old days of sit, kneel, stand and it’s Mass being said in Roman to English, to the modern day church of english speaking masses.

The architecture of the older churches with their gothic looks like Saint Ann’s were always the most interesting to look at and study, The design of them, were unique and bold and in the end they became landmarks in the cities they were built.

In Waterbury’s case, St. Ann’s always stood out and will in memories forever, it’s classic spires, which must now come down, graced Waterbury’s skies it seems like forever and for me it has been that for my 63 years of life.

As it now gets ready to tear down it’s spires and make changes or repairs, I just hope they rebuild it in such a way as for it to stay as the landmark it always was and is today.

Waterbury, has also the large cross on the hill that lights up nightly to be seen for miles away, in Holy Land I call it. It can be seen from the highways of Connecticut up and down I-84, and people go up and visit on a regular basis, it is a tourist attraction for many. Like the catholic church and religion both Holy Land, it’s cross and St. Ann’s have had their ups and downs and fair bits of trouble. In the end St. Ann’s does more good sitting there for all to see as does Holy Land and it’s cross. It’s what it all has meant for the city of Waterbury and it’s people of all colors, races and nationalities that matters, especially in the day and age of President Trump.

St. Ann’s and many other churches in the Naugatuck Valley, have had problems in many areas, and that is why I left the church at 12 years old. Too many discrepancies and controversies and crimes involved with religion. But whether I wish to believe in the catholic religion or any other religion make no difference, what does make a difference is the structure and it’s meaning to the people in Waterbury. CT, I hope it can be rebuilt exactly as it was with better long lasting materials for all to admire forever. Saint Ann’s Church in Waterbury, Ct, is a landmark in Waterbury, in Connecticut and in the Nation as far as I am concerned.
